o.o Been a while [Client Five]
Posted 15 years agoSorry for the delay... had password issues and with rebuild of FA from scratch (by the feel of it) and the death and resurrection of the Tiamat server keeping the admin's busy, I really had no choice but to just wait it out. But we're back now... and ready to go.
I'll spare you all the horrible details of the last month or two, but suffice to say things are progressing along nicely... I'll upload a piece of art in a moment that you'll also find on my main account, it belongs to our next client though... http://www.furryaudioprojects (link will take you to the old/current site) has hired WDi to redesign their fabulous idea of a site. There are so many possibilities with this that it's almost hard to pick what to go with and actually stick with it
Hopefully the new site will be designed in the next couple of weeks soon as everything's finalised. I love that WDi can help everything from animal lovers to motorcycle enthusiasts, to a bunch of furries of various professions in between. Though we don't specifically cater to furs, one of the dreams of WDi is to help those that can't find help elsewhere, or can't afford to get designers elsewhere.
There's money in this, but I'm personally more in it for the satisfaction of helping others, and I'm so priviledged to have such wonderful clients who are understanding and cooperative. I really wouldn't get this sort of clientele, nor this sense of satisfaction, working in a "professional" corporate environment.
Hopefully this is just the first of many great things to come. <3 There are already two more clients lined up and their sites will be rolling out before the end of the year too. So exciting. I'll try to keep you all updated more often.

[Client Four] - New Furry Website - FurryLife.me
Posted 15 years agoOkay, after a few weeks of hard work... and a bit of help from 
shadowwolf92 and 
furredfem, the new FurryLife website is finally open to the public. Originally started as a FaceBook Group created by 
shadowulf it now has over 1000 members and we finally all have our own little playground to hang out in. There's a ton of stuff to do there, but I can't be bothered rambling about it all now... you'll just have to go and see for yourself.
Please keep in mind that it's new and we're just "making it up as we go along" so there's bound to be a few teething problems, but we're quite proud of what we've come up with and hope that from suggestions and input from all of our members it can become a nice new home for a lot of us. Any fur can join us so please do stop by and have a look at least.
Plus, now that we're done the moderators have nothing to do so come and keep us occupied. ^_^

Posted 16 years agoJust so you know the website is mostly done, completely revamped but pretty much done, though I'm always working on improving it so please do feel free to leave suggestions for improvements. They're always most welcome no matter how good or bad they might be.
Our client list hasn't expanded... though I will add to it as I go of course. I plan to do this every couple of months... writing a journal and updating the information available.

Anubic Darque Studios - (Graphic Design) Complete.
South Australian Rat Owner's Network - (Html Components/Layout/Updates/Hosting) Complete and fully functional.
How to contact us has expanded though... we now have a facebook page so feel free to Become a Fan So far there are only five us, but two of those are random people we don't even know. That's the beauty of facebooking I suppose, so spread the word and lets see if we can't get this doing the rounds. We haven't got a myspace (it seems redundantly dead to me right now), or a twitter... there's no need for minute updates yet... maybe when we have more people and we need to get word out about outages as hosts and whatnot.
We're also available on 99 Designs trying to expand out client list, get our name out there, and work on improving ourselves every day. You'll start to notice submissions starting with "[99 Designs]"... these are contest entries adhering to strict rules and regulations governed by the website. I have no rights to these designs other then that I have created them as contest entries.
They are not award-winning (yet), and I have in no way been paid to make them... these are simply ways for me to practise my designing and professionalism. Please do feel free to give feed back, and if you like a design and want something similar then by all means ask for us to design you one, but please do not steal them, repost them, copy them, modify them... or otherwise do anything but look at them. Go nuts with the comments as well, make suggestions and criticise as much as you like... I hold no love for these things (at least not until they win me monies).
Beyond that just keep watching, faving, commenting... spread the word where you like, let us know what you think... and try to keep your head above water and out of trouble. :D

S.a.r.o.n, as we've nicknamed it, is FINALLY finished .. Skitch was so keen on getting a place for the Rat Owners of South Australia to go for help, information, socialising, and anything else rat related that you can think of... that we've created our own for her.
The website is now ready for the general public, as well as memberships if you want to contact other rat-minded people. There's also plenty too look at, and bug finders are always appreciated. You can find the site >HERE< and you can contact me via the email address supplied on the Saron Pages with bugs, questions, comments, or suggestions.
Please just remember that we know there are going to be faults, and we're always working to fix them as soon as we possibly can, so please don't just email us with "your site sucks and it's not even finished yet" or some such equal criticism. We, like any artist, are looking for Constructive Criticism. Tell us what you like, what you don't like, what needs to be improved, what you'd like to see stay... we'll take all suggestions into consideration.

Posted 16 years agoOMG, I feel like I've spent all of my Saturday drinking and then had about an hour's worth of sleep. LOL. I didn't, I was just working til 2am. But I feel so good despite everything. I was working on AnubicDarque's website. <3

I'm so proud of what I've managed to achieve, but I'd also like some feedback. You can reply here and feel free to critique as much as you like. The more people that point stupid mistakes out to me the better I can become.
