It's been a few days since i got back from anthrocon and i have to admit, i'm more happy right now than i have been in a very long time. I got to be with my wonderful friend and it did not feel strange at all, we were close enough that it just felt like a normal day as if they had always been a physical part of my life, it felt right. America as ever is wonderful and i still strive to move there one day, now more than ever, but ofcourse the con, oh the con.

The con was exactly what i needed, i was in a bad miserable place before then but being in a place where everyone can express themselves and noone was judging was just huge for me. I don't get to do that so much where i am from, don't have alot of friends in the UK and I'm starting to figure out why. Everyone who went to AC this year, i hope you had a blast and thank you for just being you, this wolf has had bolts of inspiration and determination.

So when i got back home, I got back to my flat where i was alone again for the first time in a week and did not like the state of my flat. It was clean but there were video games everywhere. Ive been an avid Nintendo retro game collector for years, i had a wall covered with games, a display case, posters, a pile of gaming tshirts and a back room full of boxes, it was all nicely organised and presented but i realize.... I've not really had many people, if anyone, over for years... so who the fuck was i trying to impress. I've been iffy about it for awhile, thought about stopping or selling, but depression held me back from change, i would collect games, not play them and vegetate to youtube videos. After seeing there are good people in the world and a place i could be happy in the future, i was determined enough to make a change, so i've packed up all my games and retro systems (only wii u is left hooked up) changed my living space so its not a shrine to nintendo and set up a nice work desk to draw, and drawing i have been.

But where is the art? why havnt i been posting to FA? well truth is, i dont exactly like FA either, talent gets no exposure here, only either the REALLY good artists or the really frequent artists get some notice, but otherwise its just a see of unrelated photography and less than admirable scribbles. i cant say ive ever made friends though FA itself, usually i just direct people here from skype or pounced or secondlife ect, but im wondering if i have people watching me here who are looking for new people to talk to, maybe play games and chat, that sorta thing. I feel like ive hit a solid wall in life and not ging anywhere, i atleast work and what not thanks to my dad but if i didnt have that where would i be... I just feel like everything i ever wanted to do isnt worth while. Animation takes too long and only makes me hyper aware of my lonelyness, just drawing comes with no recognition as i only really use FA which is an awful platform for showcasing work. You can spend 3 weeks on a picture only to be swept away off the front page in 2 seconds from a flood of scribbles and people's pictures of their dog or something. Tired of circling the same places and faces on secondlife and tired of no real information on reddit and of course tumblr feels like a chore. All the good webcomics are dead. Youtube is the best thing going right now i spose, i love the gamegrumps but just wish i had someone to share that sort of friendship with.

Every day is the same and i just feel like im only staying around on the off chance that someone might notice me. I really want to get into some sort of collaborative project and put my all into it, but i just don't know what. I have time, i have tallent and personality, but just need that second person or even a team to bounce ideas with and keep eachother motivated. I'm rambling but what else are these things for. So I dunno, just feel bleh like i could just erase everything and loose nothing.

I'm in abit of a tight spot so if anyone is interested i am doing commissions, more or less anything you might want. Coloured profiles, animated gifs/flash, icons, turnarounds, ya name it, it'd help me out alot.

It's weird how i have so many people on my lists yet noone to talk to, add me people, say hi! im welshwuff on nearly everything chat related.

Oh and about that cafe thing, it sorta failed and im back to where i started with alot less money, woo.

I just went though my FA and steam and deleted everyone who i don't know RL, i am really busy these days and i cant just sit around waiting for people to talk to me when its good for them anymore, if you been chatting to me lately and miss me already you can just readd me, but really this is just me weeding out the time wasters. I've also completely uninstalled secondlife which i should of done a long long time ago, it is a complete waste of time with no benefits. Argue that it's the only way to talk to friends and such, i did, but you gotta ask yourself if it is a symptom or a cause of your social/productive situation or rather lack of. If you log in just to idle then you have a problem you don't want to admit to yourself...
