What do I do when bored?
General | Posted 5 years agoPeople might know that I like stories and story writing. However, this is a collaborative group writing environment that I like. It's probably not the kind you know or are used to though!

I've been here for a long time and have enjoyed many plots and sessions with the other players. With the COVID-19 outbreak and social distancing requests, from government... now is probably the best time for me to let people know that I really enjoy this place.
If you want to hear my stories, by all means ask for them. If you want to experience stories for yourself... have a look!

SFW challenge
General | Posted 9 years agoI've been sick of seeing some of the porn show up on FA for some reason... so I decided to click the SFW button for one month.
What happens is that if you do 'select all' and 'delete selected' while in 'sfw' mode, you don't delete your mature or adult rating pictures.
I'm going to do this for a month, see how many porn pictures actually end up being on my FA thing... I want to see how many pictures of porn crop up in a one-month period. It'll be interesting for me at least!

Feedback for scrap artwork
General | Posted 9 years agoI do a lot of scrap artwork, I art every day. Even if it's just drawing straight lines, or putting two pixels on a page. Sometimes they are neat and are cool... but should I put them all onto FA, or should I post them somewhere else like Tumblr?
I'm a little confused as to what people would like to see from me. I would love to just upload the little snippets I do, but -where- to put them is an interesting matter.
I'm happy to put them here, goodness it would do wonders for people who watch me to see how far I progress and to see the different things I try to do.
... What should I do? Advice? Tips?

Lupinball - Game up for Greenlight!
General | Posted 10 years agoI've been in a project since April, and it's finally happening, it's got a Greenlight!
I would love for you guys to go visit it, and vote yes to this game! I can't wait for it to get to the higher places! Please pass the word around!

"Werewolf dodgeball in a top-down arena". Yeah that’s a high concept right there.
It sure is, Kotaku. It sure is.
SUMMARY
Lupinball stars between 2 and 4 unlucky wolves, all having to outlast each other in a tiny battlefield each round.
Standing still is the key to failure! You must collect small orbs to power yourself up, then use that power to fire wolf hadouk-..er, "power shots" at your opponents!
Power shots never stop flying around, bouncing off walls and shields until they either break open an item box, or kill an opponent careless enough to stand in its way. As you can imagine, the arena gets much more chaotic and dangerous as the round continues, so stay focused and keep moving (and shooting)!
Lupinball was selected for the PAX Aus Indie Showcase 2015.
KEY FEATURES
Fast and chaotic fun for between 2 and 4 players!
Overwhelm your opponents by firing shots at them...
...or shield yourself from enemy shots! Use your power wisely, you're vulnerable until you collect more!
Local and network multiplayer!
Several unique stages, such as within a table football set or on top of a scrolling music box! There's never a bad place to have a biff between wolves!
Highly animated and colourful pixel art, which makes those small characters stand out on screen and is easier on the eyes.
Items that will make you go faster! Or block everyone else from powering up! Or flip the screen upside-down! Or...

Commission slots available - pixel art avatars
General | Posted 10 years agoHello, I'm putting my hand out there. I've been working on pixel art stuffs for the better part of six months now. I am doing this to help support someone else who has gotten a bit of a bind with their truck... but if I get extra, I would really like to do more for a little bit of pocket money.

Zootopia, my thoughts.
General | Posted 10 years agoI was asked a question on Ask.FM about my thoughts on Zootopia: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g9lmhBYB11U#_=_
My answer, below:
I'm sorry it took so long to write all this, but I didn't want to leave any stone unturned with this question, as it was one of amazing relevance to my outlook of animation, Disney and almagamating 2D/3D graphics, combined with the furry fandom. This is very important to me that I answer this as accurately as I can, with all corner covered.
I like it. I don't think it's bad. The way it's been portrayed is actually a really cute and stylised outlook on anthropomorphics, and suits what I want to see in such a movie. I'm actually very interested in a lot of the intricacies of things like clothes, food and other little details. I know what the plot's going to be about, and can somewhat predict what the interactions are going to be, but the added little details are what I'm going to be really looking forwards to seeing.
I was initially hoping it was going to be an amalgamation of 3D/2D graphics like they did in the animation short 'Paperman': http://www.disneyanimation.com/projects/paperman
This is where they use the bulk of everything in 3D, but the edges are done in 2D, so that it holds an almost uncanny look of 2D animation. This... this blew my mind in amazement. I saw the animated short shortly before I knew about Zootopia. I was really excited about it, and hoped they would do a similar thing.
Sadly, it doesn't look like the case, however, they have kept the rubber-bounce effect for animation. It's not super realistic, but it's good enough for me to actually appreciate it and to work with it in ideas that I've had, and in respect to the many worlds and ideas others have had for anthropomorphic worlds. I can see many worlds being created to reflect this, and many people possibly looking into the furry fandom with this beautiful chance we have.
This leads to the second side of the story... what I do have a problem with... is not the movie itself, but how people are reacting to it, and likely to go overboard with. Furries are making pornography of it as we speak. I can't change that :/
The one chance we have to really open the world up to what /we/ as a fandom love, and we don't think about how society changes, we think about how sexy it looks. It's kind of a little bit low on a scale of intelligence.
I don't want to say stuff like this, but I get really disappointed when I see what we do to a perfectly good opportunity to open ourselves up to the world, in a normal fashion, just like people talk about star wars, we now have the opportunity to talk about furries in much the same way, referencing a movie that's a popular showcase.
This is a world, a world we can use, to make things, to add a wonderful relationship with others, to create characters, diversity, fun things, we could broach on things the movie shows but doesn't explain, we could make the world fuller and more detailed. There is so much opportunity, I want to see this so badly to go further than the movie. And that's saying a lot. I love the concept of the movie so much!

Why I can't post art for a while...
General | Posted 10 years agoHello watchers.
I have a little bit of sad news. Since December, I've been having issues with health. It started slowly, as if it was a temporary sickness. At the start of April, I quit my job, moved, hoping that I'd find work and would move on in IT.
This fell through horribly in a spectacular way. I am currently unemployed, my entire right side is in pain, and I'm in one of the best places to find both financial, medical, physical, emotional and social support.
I can lift small items for short periods of time, but typing and playing games are really difficult. I can't draw. It hurts too much.
Currently I'm just doing routine visit to doctors to see what on earth is the problem. I made the mistake of just visiting the doctors when there is a problem. I now know to do an appointment every week to just keep the doctor updated and make sure they know what's wrong, and hopefully to find a cure, or some management for the problem.
For those interested, PM me for the whole symptoms. My liver is fine, my thyroid is underactive which may be the cause of my lethargy on and off. Iron levels, b1, b2, etc are fine. Testosterone is in normal, albiet low, ranges. I don't have tumors or cancers, appendix is fine. Cholesteral, sugar levels good. Red blood cell count and white blood cell count and t-cell count normal.
It is suspected that I have an auto-immune disease.
I am currently re-learning how to draw left-handed. This is a difficult and trying experience. This is also why it has taken so long to make any journal for FA.
The last picture I could draw was a quick sketch. I had to finish it up because my hand was starting to hurt too much. https://www.furaffinity.net/view/16143687/

I really don't like begging but...
General | Posted 11 years agoI do need to try and earn a little bit of cash. I'm moving in a month's time, and while I know I'm going to be fine, I don't like struggling, I like my.
I'm doing busts and headshots.
Hit me up for details.

General | Posted 11 years agoThis has not happened to anyone I've seen, but... parading your character as 34-rule free... is probably asking for either free art or trouble.

"I have no name, I have no face, I only have a purpose. I'm worse than the Scallion, or as you all know them as, the spring onions, or shallots, on vegetales, but at least they had an appearance!
I'm stuck here, in a void, with nothing to do but talk, and talk, and talk.
I need People to help me find myself, what I look like personality and possibly even my voice if it comes to that. BUT! Just because I'm so wanting to have a face, and to have a name, does not mean I will take anything on board! I do have a LITTLE personality after all!
So, what am I looking for? I'm looking for a species, a name, an appearance, something that I tend to do, and things I like and dislike.
If you have other suggestions, I'll gladly take them on board!
Think hard, and think long. I want some Identity!"

Resuming normal internet standards.
General | Posted 12 years agoI got internet installed in my place. Took 6 weeks.
I was stuck at my parents place for 6 weeks before I could move in.
Took 1 week to pack up
Grand total of 13 weeks without proper anything internet wise.
That's nearly a quarter of a year. where I had no real internet, funny how things work like that.

I call November the month of achievement...
General | Posted 12 years agoI call November the month of achievements. It seems strange to call a particular month the month of achievement, but here's my reasons.
1. My birthday
2. NaNoWriMo (look it up if you want to know what it's about)
3. Exams for college AND results are handed over
4. Debts need to be paid by November so we can spend for December holiday seasons.
5. Holidays need to be booked by November to be enjoyed over the holiday seasons.
6. AGMs tend to occur just before Christmas breakup.
And, as always, I end up doing a lot of stuff before the end of month. These happened in 2013.
1. Move house.
2. Set up sound booth
3. Get a journal on FA (trust me, this was a challenge)
4. A very busy time with sports and music for my little brother, so lots of driving and attending.
So, this is why I suddenly die on November, to be reborn. And it's not just because of my birthday either.
Hope to post more stuff soon!

Where I'm at
General | Posted 12 years agoI have 2 weeks to go, until exams are done for the year. This week starts exam block, so I'll be busy on that front.
Unfortunately, because of issues with the housing arrangements, I will not be able to do any recording until probably December. This is because of numerous reasons.
First and foremost, I'm in my parents place. I'm in a large, very spacious room, but it's made with concrete walls, and very little carpet, with large, glass doors. Not only very difficult to do any recording without a tremendous amount of echo, or just bad noise cancelling, but you can hear cars driving a block away through the microphone. I can't do any practising of editing stuff to be good quality with so much things. I do have a makeshift idea but that has to be taken down every night, and since I'm in the midst of exams, not a good idea.
Second, I won't be moving out to my new place until the end of November, which means multiple days of unpacking stuff.
Third, I'll have to finally set up a proper studio space so that I can cancel out noise completely from outside and reduce echo from inside.
On top of all this, December gets busy, christmas, new years and so on. I may not be able to get recordings done in a speedy manner, but I shall try. For now, I'll just say that, tentatively, I'll see about getting myself saving up for bits and pieces to prepare myself.
Once I get going and doing more narration stuff, I'll have a special surprise probably in January.

I guess I should say what's been happening...
General | Posted 12 years agoAs of Wednesday the 9th (almost two weeks ago), I was told I had to move out of my home By Saturday morning. This is completely fine in my current position, and arrangements with all things in regards to finances, a place to stay, and what have you. I agreed to this.
I regret that decision immediately.
Two weeks later, I finally have my laptop running, a makeshift recording space for narration stuff, and a place to comfortably say is my 'bedroom'.
I've been working 1.5 times my normal workload at work, have exams coming up, ANOTHER move in four weeks time coming up, and then, all should be fine and dandy.
If my back didn't go and stab me in the... well... back.
I have sciatica like symptoms, and need to have my iron levels checked to make sure I'm not falling into general unwell-ness.
Speaking of which, at 125 kg (nearly 250 lb), I have to lose 35 kg (70-is lb). Most people are surprised by my weigh, and that's because, despite me being fat, I am quite active and do a lot of physical work, but not actually excercise. I've been the same pants size for 5 years. I hope to finally drop down to a 34 from 40. My shirt size won't change because my shoulders are WIDE!
Anyways, I won't be able to do proper narration stuff until after exams, and then the move that shortly follows that, right into christmas, fun.

Sooooo, I want to narrate scary stories, a nice break from my usual voice practice.
I want you, all my watchers, to see if there's any stories out there that you'd like me to narrate/voice act. So, if you have a story you want to write for this reason, or have one stored safely away for such an occaision, or want someone else's work to be narrated, link in comments below. Go ahead and link, spread the word around. I don't think I'll get many pieces to try to narrate, prove me wrong!
Of course, the stories that get linked to me, will need to get permission given by the authors. I will go and ask them when the time comes around.
I wish I had some sort of prize to give away for this, but oh well, maybe next time? I'll think of something. >:}

This is halloween, this is halloween!
General | Posted 12 years agoSeeing as Halloween's coming out soon, I'm going to try looking forwards to doing some narration pieces of horror stories, and possibly doing some art for them for the picture for them.
Question is... I would just pick stuff that catches my fancy, but I like to ask the author's permission to do so. As such, things are going to drag a bit. Would there be people who could suggest some creepy/horror stories for me to narrate?
That would be awesome!
Thanks.

'Due to popular demand...'
General | Posted 12 years agoThis is more of a journal to explain my feelings on some of the stuff I've posted. Don't worry, this is a GOOD thing.
I remember when I posted some fetish art. It was... admittedly... something that I wasn't too proud of to post. I was into it, but after the fact, I was ashamed to post it. It got 89 views for the top page, 7 favs for the top page, but the comments were about 4-6 unique ones.
I posted 'reclaiming a life':http://www.furaffinity.net/view/11029186/
I got, within a few days (it says less, but I'm sure it's been more), 119 views, 12 favs, 10 unique comments (total of 22, including my own, 11 comments not mine).
This here, makes me so happy. I am very pleased that people would come listen to something like this. I don't claim ownership for it but this kind of thing, narrating, is something I wish I could do constantly. It brings me great joy to bring stories to life, and I really wish I could do more of it.
Right now, I'm in contact with two people about me narrating their stories, one of whom I'm already doing some narration for, so that I get better, and practised.
I am very happy to do narration work, and hope for some time into the future to turn this into a job for me. But to do this I need both people to help me work on stuff I do, and stuff for me to narrate.
Does anyone have something they wish to comment on to assist me, or even a story or two they wish for narration?

So close...
General | Posted 12 years agoI have a new proper microphone... it's a cheapy, unfortunately, but it's better quality than a headset mic. I have a interface to convert the mic to get it into my computer, I have things to try, a list of stuff to read, and... almost everything set up for my amateur voice narration set up. All that's left is the fiddling with the software to get the proper sound, and to get rid of my annoying nasal situation. I'll either have to do full nasal treatment, or get green apples... it's seriously a really hard decision.
On other news, I got to go to a fur meet... and wear a fursuit!
http://www.furaffinity.net/view/10687069/
redtailfox was very nice in letting me wear his partial, it took me a while to get used to it, but I'm still somewhat camera shy, and even though the suit is cute, I still end up being creepy... much to the amusement of the other furries. I've noticed a few things when wearing it though. Since it's winter, it's not that hot, I'm not so camera shy, and more importantly, hugs are now in the picture.
For years, absolutely years, I would cringe at physical contact. I hated it, loathed it, and regretted that I could simply not tolerate more than a handshake. And that took long enough. For a long time now, Furries have tried to bring out this culture of inclusiveness, togetherness, and closeness. Hugs all 'round, as could be said.
To not cringe to, or to fear about being hugged was something so foreign, it shook me, and got me very excited about my next meet. I don't know when I can make it, or if my friend will be there to supply the suit, but gradually, bit by bit, I'm making steps into the furry fandom. I hope this is a fun ride.

My mic broke...
General | Posted 12 years agoMy microphone broke on my headset!
I'm pretty upset, but know that this can be a turnaround by getting another headset, or by getting the proper mic and makeshift screen for proper narration...
If I'm to get a headset though, it's gotta be with a USB...
Anyone have suggestions about what equipment I should get for a decent mic? I can live without a headset one as I have other equipment that does basic recording for skype chatting, so should I go for the proper mic set?

Should I swear when voice narrating?
General | Posted 12 years agoI'm currently working my way into voice narration, and need some advice.
Y'see, I don't normally swear at all, however, I'm not sure how much of an impact this reluctance to swear will have on voice narration, or what this means for a new voice narrator. This is probably the only thing I'm hesitant on. I could quite literally read just about anything under the sun, excluding some really exceptionally unnerving stuff without a hitch. I've already overcome the writing part, I can write any swear word I want, but wholeheartedly choose not to, and rather wish to use other words to convey my meaning.
So... all in all... what have people known about narrating that would be of concern in regards to swearing, explicit sex, excessive violence and excessive blasphemy? I'm worried about just swearing, even though I shouldn't be.
Opinions? Please?

Dear exam(s)
General | Posted 13 years ago(I'm dreading this exam that is only a short time away, and to stop me from stressing out, this is the resulting journal.)
I really appreciate all of you, and your countless friends, that have ignored me, and no thank you to the five that seem to consider me up for appointments. I'm glad that you didn't all come at once or I'd have certainly been on my road to recovery by now.
Particularly you last two exams, I thought I could avoid you when I got sick last time round, but nooooo, you had to come check up on me 4 months later. Well, good for you, I'm through with that. Now's the time for exams that I haven't had to face.
Please, after this, understand that our friendship should no longer exist, and that you have to leave me alone to contemplate my thoughts and other things that I want to do. I sincerely do not want to try researching all of the intrinsics of your various components the gruelling month before I have to face you again. Please do consider my feelings in this subject, and the fact that I really don't want to meet you again.
If you do, rest assured I will find many alternative ways to lying, cheating and back stabing to avoid you.
Many sincere hates towards you, particularly you, my next exam. May my hate force our 2 hour date to be cut short.
Regards,
your participant.

Here we go...
General | Posted 13 years agoA chapter unfolds... I have now got a place I'm renting, big, 3 bedroom, $120 a week. This means I'm tight on money, no internets for me... yet.
I'm really clinging to this place because... I'm really hoping to keep it, do MORE art, and MORE study! Of course, this means MORE responsibility, so I have to pay for MORE stuff, meaning I need to work MORE.
And holey moley, exams are less than a month away! I better get cracking, I so wish I could say "I promise to do more art soon," but... I can't. I just don't know when I'll next be able to post art.

Some good news... and not so good news.
General | Posted 13 years agoFirst of all, the good news. I'm moving out! It's been 4 attempts, 4 years, and I'm finally moving out!
However, this leads directly to the bad news. I won't have a scanner, and I certainly won't have any internet for long periods of time during the week. This leads me to a few dilemmas.
1. I have no way of scanning in my sketched work.
2. I have very little chance of uploading pictures.
I still have a tablet, so fear not, I will be able to do some stuff on my computer, but my real skill is where I can sketch things. Because I'm not used to working with a tablet as much as a pencil, or pacer, I will not be allowing comics as requests, or even commissions after the move until I'm able to support myself enough to afford internet.
But to bring out the tablet is a little unwieldy, as it's cumbersome to have out, and to do art at night (when I exclusively use my touch pad). I've got some art in my backburner to line properly... but that's going to run out.
Really, what I need is suggestions and advice. I have no idea what to even ask for, because I'm not sure if I even want to change anything yet. I do want to find a simple style for quick slice of like comic strip, and I'm learning how to do gradient colours effectively with the touchpad... anyone else got ideas?

Taking a break... requests on hold.
General | Posted 13 years agoI'm going to take a break from posting art. It's not that I'm sick of drawing or something like that, it's quite the opposite, I want to draw so badly.
What's the problem is that I'm working a lot more than usual, and running about, trying to find roomates to live with me in a house I want to rent. It's... stressful. And this is unfortunately sucking up all my time during the day when it's best to do sketches.
I'd usually be able to find some other time besides the one I've got, but I've also got study, which is why I'm interested in moving.
Normally, this would mean that it's time for me to open up requests, but I have a commission that I'm working on. To avoid me delaying things even further, I really want to focus on knocking off commissions first. This means that <b>REQUESTS ARE ON HOLD.</b>
I will hopefully open up my requests list next week, or the week after when I've knocked off the commissions and the requests still stockpiled, but until then, time to take forced leave.

Requests [closed...] with FAQ
General | Posted 13 years agoRequests are currently closed...
Basic deal:
-No more than 2-3 characters on one page per request, unless you provide some donation or payment. (read FAQ below)
-You may choose: sketch, lineart or basic colours (flats, or minor soft/cell shading).
-No more than one request pending at any one time, placed in a queue. First come first serve. (read FAQ below)
-Minor fixes are allowed after creation, major ones are not. You may always request another picture once I've finished your work.
-Please note me, or otherwise to get in the queue. If I'm full, I'll close requests until I get it down to a reasonable level.
-If I deem that something is too much, or inappropriate for a request, it is. I'm the artist here providing terms and conditions.
+===============================================================+
Price scheme for comissions.
+===============================================================+
Unfortunately, since my prices are far below what's 'normal' or 'acceptable' through FA, most of my prices are relative to DA. I'll get a suitable price list up in the future, but for now, I'll accept trades as payments.

FAQ
+===============================================================+
<b>How do I request?</b>
-You request by simply replying to me, or sending me a note specifying what you want.
-Please note that if anything is not stated explicitly, it is up to me, the artist to try and interpret that for you. The more direction you give me, the better I reach your goal.
<b>How much can I request in terms of characters and backgrounds?</b>
-Preferably no more than 2-3 characters, in one page
-Basic colour with minor shading (I'm really talking minor here) or lineart, or both if you want. I don't mind. I have to make the lineart anyway, so I don't mind giving the lineart away with the coloured piece.
-Only one request at a time. If I haven't gotten to your picture yet, then you will need to wait until I've done it.
-I prefer not to do massive backgrounds, but I can do it. Note that this may delay your request.
<b>What about <insert subject matter here>?</b>
-If it's higher than PG 13, I might not accept it. You may always ask, I'm usually fine with trying to draw stuff, but I <b>will not</b> draw porn and I doubt I ever will.
-Generally tame fetishes I don't mind, but please bear in mind I can always say no. These are requests after all.
<b>Could I get a bit extra?</b>
-Sure, either wait for the next time you can get your request through, or commission me. If it's more than what's stated above, please note me to see if I'll do it, however I may not accept it as any less than a commission.
<b>Can I make another request once mine has gone through the queue?</b>
-Yes. That's fine.
-You can also do staggered requests, say you want a series of comic, or a progression of something happening. You can request that you be stockpiled before the queue, so that when I get yours done, I simply put your request at the end of the queue again. However, I'll be rather strict about what I allow. Send me a note with your plans so that I can figure out whether to agree or not.
<b>Hey... you messed something up!</b>
-And that, my dear, is why these are requests. However, I'm not going to be stingy, I'll be more than happy to fix it up if it's a minor issue like colour, something wrong that you specifically requested or other minor things. If it's like 'I don't like that pose anymore', I'm sorry, but I won't change that on the spot. You may ask for another request though.
-If you ask for a Major change, or something that you left me to interpret, you will have to simply drop it this time, and make another request.
<b>When are you closing?</b>
-I'll close when I'm too busy, or I have filled all the requests. So if I always stay at 9 requests, and never get to 10, I'll keep them open. However, if I close, I'll not accept any more requests until I'm down to my last 5 or less.
-Because of the time it takes to get through requests it shouldn't be longer than a couple of weeks being closed.
<b>I can't wait for you to get through your queue, can I just jump ahead?</b>
-Sure, I charge to jump people through the queue though. It will be like you're requesting a commission from me.
<b>I feel uncomfortable asking for a request...</b>
-So do I! It's okay if you don't want to ask me for art. Seriously, it's fine. You are your own person and I should not force you to take advantage of my lack of inspiration to draw stuff for myself. In fact, you can ask someone to ask on your behalf if you don't want to. I won't mind.
-I have a real hard time asking someone to give their time and effort to making art for me, when I've barely met them, or don't know how they respond. The best way I go about this is to ask for a trade, albiet I'm doing it in a backwards fashion by making requests with the option of a trade... but you get the idea. :)
<b>Do you do lineart of existing sketches?</b>
-Sure, why not? I do literally the same thing. I sketch, scan, then use that scanned sketch to do the lineart. Then I can do the colour. So... I don't see why not, it definitely saves a step for me.
-If you do, I will be linearting the sketch, not making the picture awesome. I can colour, shade, add effects, whatever, but I will be staying to the base of the sketch.
<b>I have <insert specific requirements and/or excessive amounts of detail> for my request</b>
-I'll give it a shot. Not sure how I'll go as that's a lot to remember, remember this is free art... so you just might get what you paid for. I hope to prove that otherwise, though. These may take longer than normal.
<b>I have a question and/or feedback on your work...</b>
-Great, I want to hear it!
<b>Why are you posting my character on your DA/FA account?!</b>
-Because this is my art, I feel I have a right to post it. I always give credit to the owners of the character and refer to the owner, even if I have to leave a link on FA for DA accounts (and vice versa).
-This is usually how I get feedback. I'm trying to work on my art, and work on my skills. Unless you commission a piece with the specific request to not have it posted, I have the right to decide whether I post it for others to see.
-If you still insist that it must be removed, I will remove it. Just ask.
<b>You should let me have this request, even if it does have <insert thing I oppose of here>!</b>
-Yeah, I probably should. But I won't. If I tell you 'No, I will not do this art piece.', I usually mean it and I'm very stubborn when it comes to things I morally won't allow.
-To save face on your part, please ask by note if you're unsure if I'll say yes. I really don't want to embarrass people, but I will be firm when I don't want to, and will not do something.
