soooo i fucked up really bad and ive managed to lose literally all of my clip studio paint files. ive only been able to recover a small handful because i never uploaded them to the cloud or anything. but basically all my art from all the way back until now is basically gone.

i do have png files of most of the work in my google photos so if you ever need a file of mine, i might still have the png file.

im really upset and i spent a good few hours crying my eyes out over this. theres literally nothing i can do and i cant even bring myself to think about how much work is literally just lost now and cant be recovered.
work has been a bit delayed because it kinda destroyed me. im getting back into the swing of things though, but i felt like it was info thats really important to share. especially if youve gotten art from me before.

a new year is already upon us which feels so weird. still feels like 2020 was only like 2 years ago, but here we are.
2024 was a rocky year for me. on one hand, ive seen the love of my life and had the two most amazing weeks of my life and on the other hand, ive spent a good portion of the year with intense dysphoria and fighting with doctors to get help with my chronic pains and to get hrt. a fight im still not done with.

despite it all, i think ive had a good year! i can certainly say that, after being put on mood stabilizers for my bipolar a bit under 2 years ago, my mental health has improved alot. i definietly dont feel like the world is gonna end every other month anymore at least! my dysphoria was unfortunately the worst its ever been and my desperation for hrt got to such a level that im realizing just how life saving hrt is for me. which is why ive been wrestling so hard with the norwegian healthcare system to get it, which is insanely difficult.

i finally moved out of my old apartment in june and boy am i happy about it for just- so many reasons. i had lived in that old apartment for 2 years and it was insaaanely small. it was decent for a first apartment, but the second year was MISERABLE for me. the apartment was so small that you sorta lose your mind. i was sitting in my bed basically all day which is just not very good. i was drawing, doing work and eating in my bed. i and to top it off, for the last month or so in that apartment, i was stalked by an ex friend from high school (its been like 3-4 years and that mf hadnt moved on ig.) thankfully, once i moved, it all stopped. but that definietly fucked me up a little. my new apartment is much more spacious. i have a seperate bedroom and i have a desk and a couch to sit on now, so im not in the same spot all the time anymore thank god. i love the new place!

seeing my girlfriend was such a big highlight for me this year! after being best friends for 10 years and dating for 2 years, i was finally able to see her and it was the best two weeks of my life! america is so crazy and overwhelming but i had a great time! im lucky to have my gf as a guide. it was such a magical time! i cant wait to go back, hopefully for christmas!

i wasnt able to get into school this year so ive spent the year just sitting around and attending an assigned work program while i wait to apply again next year. and alot of time has gone into commissions.

it makes me really happy to know how many people enjoy my work and wanna buy stuff from me! my experimental commissions got pretty popular this year which makes me happy cause theyre a joy to do!
ive struggled a little with making personal art this year and its hard not to feel a little dissapointed in myself for that when i know how much work i did and how much effort i put into it in 2023, buuut looking back, i was most likely experiencing hypomania for a good portion of 2023 which made me alot more productive. but im positive about how ive improved! and even if i didnt draw as much as i wanted, i do like what i put out in 2024!

i had alot of revelations about the kind of content i wanna create and what im into this year(and some parts of 2023) and i finally left anti spaces which feels really good! and im really grateful for how well its been recieved online. of course i unfortunately lost some friends and mutuals, but i also made alot of new friends who support me and im really happy!
i dont really do new years resolutions, but i really hope i can do more writing and actually post it online finally!
