The war is over, but its not, it never will be ~self rant~
Posted 8 years ago-This is just a metaphoric rant/ just shouting into the air kind of thing just with all thats going on and has gone on the past several months... this is not aimed at anyone in any shape or form-
It's over, the conflict, violence, anger, trauma, the pain. And that level of anguish and trauma exists in a wake of painful memories that will follow you for the rest of your life. That war is over and that darkness you were in is now just a shadow behind you, a reminder to keep you centered and humble to others and in life.
You clawed your way out of a dark cave that not many make it out of, not many may get that second chance of what they once knew as normal. Moments, many of them at the point where you almost became consumed by it. You've lost friendships over it, gotten into countless fights with loved ones about it. Brought the ones who love you to tears while you were lost in that darkness.
And now here you are about to come out into the light of what would be a normal life, no longer living in a constant fight or flight state of mind, no longer jaded to your family caring for you, or numb to the warmth of someone hugging you and expressing they're concern for you. And now your going back?
Why? The war is over for you, you've been down that road before and learned first hand its a dirty walk in and a dirty walk back. You barely made it out and your willingly going to turn around and going back? There is no safe spot from the horrors that brought you down this path before, not corner you could hide in or any rocks you can hang onto while that same river keeps flowing deeper and further into that darkness. So why? Why do you want too put you and everyone around you through that again? The same pain and anguish is just going to be there waiting for you. You can try to do better but no matter what you will never have a day of rest from it, no way you can step away from it again like you already have. So this is it, I mean this is your no turning back moment right here. So why?
You know why, you knew it from the day you first started to the day you finally realized who you were. Your history, your traits, your habits, all explained to you and laid out before you in the wake of someone you looked up to passing away. A final gift they left you answering every single question you ever had since you got lost in that dark cave. Its who you are, its what you are. And each time you tried to escape it, it has brought you back to it. You've explained it to countless people and you fear that explaining it further is just going to yield the same answers they've given you before.
But you know why your turning back. You understand now more then ever why and you don't need any explanation from anyone who doesn't. Your family, your loved ones, the few who do get it may not fully understand it. But its enough for them to support you. You may not make it back out if you go back in, it may be the end of you at one point. But you know as well as I do that there really is no other option here.
So lets go, like so many who have walked down that path lets go back and maybe go even further. Let us stand by the every brother and sister who has even fallen this far and has gotten back up to do the same. Let us be guiding voices to those who are still lost or may become lost. Let us rally together and remember why we came down this dark path in the beginning and march forward. For we are not alone down this lonely path. And it's up to each one of us to make a difference not in someone else's who had called for help. But to make a difference for the once who can not call for help, who were in the same part of that path you were. We are all in this together, so lets all make sure we get out of it and come home the same way.

Fallout New Vegas style comic/story thingy.... Cameos spots?

I've been playing around with and RP'ing a story line based in Fallout's New Vegas for the past year or so and I think I'm at the point of actually doing something about it, its been bugging me that badly. The story line is already laid out and mostly written, just needing to be told and illustrated. I don't have the time or talent to do a full comic but maybe doing something in between basic pictures and a comic panels to go along with it.
Anyways. The story follows an NCR Ranger from the start of his career and past it as he serves along side his brothers under the same flag in the hopes of rebuilding a world lost over 200 years ago in a desolate and lawless land. Loyalties are tested when blind patriotism sees the reality of the waste and a line becoming more blurred as the politics of the new world clash with the greater good of the wasteland frontier. The story follows close to the game's time line and a fair part of the original story line from the first battle of the dam and well past the second one while still taking its own.
So whats the point here? Well there are a lot of characters in the game and you can imagine there are a lot of characters needed for the art portion of all this, and quite frankly I suck at character design. So ya, anyone interested in having there character in a cameo spot? Nothing major in the line of rolls other then minor stuff like extras, shop keeps, traders, bystanders, soldiers, etc. There are some rolls too that have a more significant part like; Legion soldiers, BOS paladins and knights, NCR rangers and soldiers, stuff like that that have interaction with the story but the lines and rolls are already set.
If your interested and have a character you would like to be involved in the comic thingy, please let me know. Also include a screen shot/ reff/ or description of your character and some info like; species, a little background bio, what roll you might be interested in, what you don,t want to be in, etc..
This is going to be furry/ anthro based and only use a select number of various mammals (wolves, cats, dogs, coyotes, cougars, etc). Nothing to exotic and no "Sparkle" style characters (body art/ tattoos are ok). Trying to keep it a bit on the drab side for the natural setting of the waste.

Playing survival mode on Fallout 4 (personal thoughts)
Posted 9 years agoPlaying almost 3 weeks into it and I've just barely scratched the surface of quest. I dread going to the satellite relay towers for the BOS... I've died more times then a Dragon Ball Z character, and spend most my time leap frogging form one bed to another. As much as I curse and want to throw my controller at the tv, the sole fact that guns actually do a realistic amount of damage keeps me going. I'm a sucker for realism and to be quite honest it has made the game more immersive.
To sum up the rest of it. It's like thanks giving day with every enemy you will ever cross in the game sitting at one big table and a death claw is sharpening his claws as they serve you your ass on a silver platter....

Soooo.... A little about my self. Long over due.
Posted 10 years agoLooking at my page theres not a lot of info about me other then I like boobs and guns. Well heres your chance I guess if you really wanted to know more *Shrugs*
I'm an air force brat, born in Germany and been to a few other places. Panama was my favorite out of all the places we lived. I'm full Hispanic (Ya... explain the looks I get when filling out gov paper work). After that I'ved lived on the West coast form then till now.
High school I slacked off in, forced to drop out my senior year (long story). Got my GED and wondered around work and college for a little bit. Fell into an EMT class and the rest kind of took off from their.
Other than that the rest is just tidbits I guess.
-I have no association with either political party (US). I'm actually quiet disgusted with the two party system.
-I use to be very narrow minded and closed to the changing world. Since turning 19 I've learned theres more important things then to worry about who marries who and etc... "Life Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness" and "Live and be free".
-I am straight, don't know what vibe I give off that I'm not but I like tacos.
-I was geared up to go straight into the military after high school but that's another story.
-I like guns and building things, huge lego maniac growing up. I also weld and dabble in wood working
-Go off roading a lot and love to fish, hike, shoot, that kind of thing. Use to scuba dive but that was a decade ago.
Oh and love Coffee and Mnt Dew!

I guess you can say I've technically been a furry since I was 5... though as a kid you think its just a normal thing. Started out with Balto and kept going from there. High school I got into Rping on myspace as my own wolf OC and met there. We were mates then asked her out in real life for a long distance relationship. Moved in with her after high school and been together since. Still use my OC as my primary fursona but have couple others.
Art wise I've tried to get it going but I hate my own work.. It never comes out the way I imagined it. So I usually let it go until to many ideas build up in my mind and I try again. By then I have forgotten how to draw and the cycle continues. So... thats why not so many arts on page....
Well thats all I can think of right now. If you read through this then you now know more about me then my family does. And probably wasted 10 mins of your life reading about some random ass hole. Good night everybody.

Little updates
Posted 12 years agoJust a quick run through of the last couple of weeks and the next few.
- New job is awesome.
- Finished training and am now fully certified to work
- Machinery at work not functioning has delayed the regular shifts so work is kinda random at the moment with me coming in and out through out the week at different hours.
- Celebrated my birthday last week with my mate and she made me the best cake ever and got me a tablet.
- Getting a tablet this week so more art coming up at a faster pace then before (I havent forgotten about the watch pictures those will be in the queue soon)
- Mate started playing some of my FPS games and has become vary efficient with a Barret .50 cal.
and other etc... stuff

Posted 12 years agoWoke up this morning and my good old faithful coffee maker wouldn't start up, I tried resetting it, changing outlets, everything.. So I started CPR on the hot plate to try and jump start its element but after several rounds I had to pull the plug.... It wasn't even 2 years old.
We've been through heck together and she's kept me going through the toughest and coldest of nights... Always creating the perfect cup of Colombian, organic blends, and Dunkin's. She was a good friend and one of the best gifts my mate ever given me.

Truspirit's Surgery update and other things these next weeks
Posted 12 years agoSo I'm happy to announce that 's surgery went well and we are back home. Every thing went well during the operation and she actually got released 2 days earlier then we expected. Got the next couple of days off from work to help her out then one last day at this job till I'm done working for them. So I'm there for her about 90% of the recovery time :)
With that said I do only have one last day of work with the contract job with the rail road, then I'm off for a week to catch up on my life and everything that was left behind since I took on this job before training starts for my new job. So yes that means the remaining art on my queue will be done soon with my new founded down time (sorry last several weeks have been working literally round the clock). So I haven't forgotten about you guys just haven't had the the proper time to get my to do list done.
Glad to be home, glad that Tru's surgery is done and went well. Glad to be switching jobs and actually having steady hours of shift work rather then this guessing game with my current one. And glad to have my life back to do things stead of living by my job.

Art work delay....
Posted 12 years agoHate to say it but all pictures in queue are going to be at a stand still for a bit. As of this moment several things are going on that require a majority of my time.
1. Current contract job has me running literally round the clock. ( go to work, get home, go back out again 30min- 2hrs later, repeat).
2. My mate's surgery is coming up and will be away from home for a couple of days.
3. Transitioning into a new job and resigning from old one, new training and what not.
4. Trying to catch up on life from reason #1 ( dishes, laundry, lawn, etc...)
So bare with me and I'll get them out as free time allows. How ever the RHCP picture will be the last one to be done.

First off I want to say I will never take or do and art commission. It's not my thing, I just do this to keep productive in my life. With that said Unless it's a trade or collab please do not expect anything major on gift/ free art since that's all it is... free ya know.
I am all for trades and collabs, even YCH type stuff and I will always pull my own share of the work. If your ever up for one please feel free to send a note or shout.
Gift/Free art, feel free to re-post if you want just please give credit ^^ Slots are subjected to open and closer and can be rejected/ denied if necessary.
My fur and char's.
-West is pretty much me, and like in real life is committed to his mate and the relationship is closed tight. He will never be drawn in any adult situations with any one's fur's or characters other then Tru's. (Unless said otherwise witch is a highly rare unlikely hood). Please respect that. My characters are the same way unless specified. On a side note adult humor is fine witch can include nudity, awkward situations, and other " well shit..." moments that happen in life are ok but lets talk first.
Ok so trades, free/gift, and collabs limits and what not
Strengths
- Feral over anthros but I'm working on it
- Canine over most others but will do my best at drawing your fur
What I Will draw:
- Yiff, yes I will draw it and I am an equal rights kinda guy so no judgement from me. But I am still a straight guy and prefer female bits over guy's but I will draw it. M/F, F/F, M/M. Herms...eh ya but dont make a habit of it.
- Rule 34. Not making any profit of it so ya why not.
-Limit's just ask nothing to extreme though.
- Natural vore, I.E. what you will see on tv and what not. Nature stuff (wolf eating deer, snake eating mouse etc...)
-Blood and whatnot with in reality and reason ( I am an EMT and do draw related stuff so meh)
Theres actually alot I will probably do so lets make it easier and switch gears.

- Diapers
- Drug use (not up for debate)
- Heavy alcohol use
- Murder/ gore
- Nazi shit
- Scat
- Rape
- Cheating
- Inflation
- Extream/ real hardcore yiff

- Extreme mussels/ fat
- Heavy bondage

Posted 13 years agoMy mate is going through a rough time medical and as much as I hate to admit were not in the best financial situation... Shes several doc appointments coming up and there all far from home and the cost for the round trips are adding up. I am no artist, I work a low paying crappy job and and try to help others on the side, She how ever is a great artist and is trying to offset the bills by offering pay what you can commissions. Posted 13 years agoSo trying not to relapse with my habit of completely dropping drawing altogether I'm setting out a project to do list like I did last time, kinda to always be there to slap me in the face when I log on so I don't forget.
-As a prior agreement to my mate 4 pictures a month. Or my ass gets kicked...
