Hello everyone. I'm writing this journal to act as a catch all and to keep folks updated on what's going on.

Last night my cat Kyoya(KoKo) had to be rushed to the vet. Around 12:30am he jumped in my lap and started peeing on me, it was strained and very out of character.

I was broke, literally -$12 in my paypal(you don't wanna know how over drafted my BOA account is >_<) my wife has been out of work for a hernia surgery this month so we are struggling...

We were able thankfully scrounge together the money to get him seen and he had a Urinary Tract Blockage. Blockage can lead to kidney failure if left untreated for long.

The vet quoted us for $887 on the low end of things, $1700 for the high. We were required to have the low end in full due to an issue with a previous bill(I'll explain how my old roommate fucked us below after I finish going over koko's condition) Because of this issue with the bill we were required to pay in cash. I was able to get the vet to cut out "unnecessary" treatment and basically just sedate, flush him out and keep him for 24hrs for monitoring. That was $320

A few stressful hours, and lots of help from some wonderful folks on twitter, later I had the $320 in cash to cover his initial treatment.

We got home around 5 and tried to sleep since then.

We just woke up and called the vet, he is comfortable but has not peed yet. If he doesn't soon they will need to start IV fluids and put in a catheter. I will be opening for emergency commissions in a few minutes to help cover any additional vet costs. I'm trying to reach that $1700 goal just in case he has to stay longer for more treatments.

I am so stressed from this whole thing, like I said with my wife being out of work we were barely making ends meet as it is... I will probably be opening for a discounted suit commission to help.

Now, want to hear the fun part about our old roomies? So last year we had two people and their 3 dogs living with us. When I was out of town in Tennessee and they were in Georgia visiting friends their largest dog, a rottie mix attacked my 10 week old kitten and broke his foot. All for coming between her and my wifes dinner plate.

Meri rushed him to the Emergency vet and a $400 bill later he was good to go. My roomie offered to pay the bill since it was their dog, they paid over the phone and we thought everything was good.

Except the next day he called fraud on the card and cancelled the payment. We didn't know this, we heard him bragging about doing it but we had no idea is was the vet he did it to.

Fast forward to last night, rushing our cat in for treatment only to have this thrown in our face, be told we can't pay with card and have to pay in cash to save my cat. I was a mess, I was shaking, sobbing and barely keeping it together. Luckily they are letting us deal with the $400 we owe them for this when we pick him up...

So overall last night was a mess but hopefully Koko is doing better which is the only thing that matters. I want to thank everyone out there who spread the word last night and everyone who donated! I will be contacted everyone who sent anything as soon as I can because I would like to make it up to everyone.

I've been neglecting this page for a while now, things have been so hectic I've just forgotten to update and post things here. I am going to be posting things I've been working (including backlogged projects and pictures from the last few months) more regularly here in the next few weeks.

Just wanted to do a quick update, my Wife is in the hospital because of another infection. We were in the ER on Sunday but its not responding to antibiotics so she is back at the hospital. They admitted her this time so that she can get heavy IV antibiotics.

Work and responses will be slow until she gets out!

Hello everyone, I just wanted to pop in real quick and apologize for my absence lately. I've been working steadily but I've been taking an unintentional break from FA and other sites a bit. I've just been so busy it kind of slipped through the cracks.

I also got into a minor car accident last week and it has thrown off my schedule. Everyone is fine though! It just screwed up work and finances.

I am sorry for the lack of updates to all those waiting on order, I am trying my best to get WIP pictures and respond to everyone as soon as I can!

Also, a smaller update, I am going to be officially taking Saturday and Sundays off from now on. My page says I take Sunday and Monday off but I never actually stuck to that. More often than not I would work for a week or more straight then crash for a day before starting over. My health can't take that any more so I just wanted to give a heads up that I will be taking normal weekends from now on to recuperate and to keep my health up!

Just posting a quick journal, I'm back from Furthemore!! I had a BLAST! Met so many new and wonderful people and it was so nice to have a weekend to relax. I did strain my foot while there. it is still acting up but I can work through it with frequent breaks.

I am back in the studio now. I'm doing a bit of housekeeping(physical and digital) before I dive back into real sewing and stuff after lunch.

I will be posting another few journals today. I have a premade suit that I'm taking offers on and I am making a new email solely for commission correspondence. I feel it will help things from getting lost if I have an email that is only for commission stuff. My current one is getting so cluttered with junk emails and stuff.

My foot is feeling so much better after my fall on Saturday. I think I pulled some muscles in it but after a few days of rest I can walk without my brace or crutches!

Just wanted to do a quick update, I will be responding to emails that I got over the weekend later today into tomorrow.

I will be out of the studio/out of town Thursday thru Monday as well!

So my foot isn't getting better. The pain has gotten more intense to the point that I can barely walk. The pain is centralized around the outside of my foot, the very top and the inside, it's not in my actual ankle at all. I'm not sure what I did to it but I can't go to a doctor until the 1st because I have no health insurance right now(lost my dads on the 11th when I turned 26)

I just went out and bought a set of crutches and a good brace to keep my foot still. That ate into what little money I have right now though so I am dropping the price of some sales items!

I was at the post office this morning and I slipped on my flipflops(was raining so they were wet) I went down hard and twisted my ankle. Or at least I hope that's all it is. I'm at home keeping it elevated and iced for now. I hope it's nothing too serious because my new health insurance doesn't kick in until the 1st of May =[

This week has totally sucked, first my cat died, then I was sick yesterday and now this... Going to take today to try to recover and get back in working order.

I just woke up after a terrible nights sleep, drenched in sweat and feeling extremely nauseous.... I'm not sure what this is but I'm going g to lay on the couch with crackers and hope it passes. If it doesn't I'm going to take the day off from work to try to nip it in the bud and rest. I do apologise and I'll keep things posted....

My mom just called, she had to put my cat Roxy down.... She was a gift from my mother back when I was in highschool. Technically she was for all of us kids by she choose me as her person. I always regretted not being able to take her when I moved out...

Lately she had been losing alot of weight(from 14lbs down to 5 today) peeing everywhere and sleeping all day(more than normal) my mom knew something was wrong so she took her to the vet and he said it was most likely kidney failure. The most humane thing was to put her down.

I am devastated that I couldn't be there to say goodbye to another one of my childhood friends. Last year I lost my horse and just last month my mom lost her cat Little Missy, I wasn't there for either of them either...

I apologize if I'm a bit distant for the next day or two, I'm trying my best but it hurts so much.

Rest in peace pretty girl. I'm so glad your not in pain anymore but I;m going to miss you so much.....

Hey everyone! Just a quick update!

I am a little behind on emails right now, I will be responding to them tomorrow into Thursday!

I am getting so stoked for FurTheMore this month!! I had originally planned to be a dealer there but due to unexpected circumstances I had to cancel my table... I will still be there to hang out and suit though! I'm also planning to try for an artist alley table as well since I have quite a few smaller things I could sell that are already made and ready to go. Things like handpaws, collars, zebra legs, bandanas and even some tails!
Basically everything I would have had at my dealers table just in smaller quantities since I couldn't make as much stock as I wanted...

I will be debuting two-three new personal suits there as well, Dyson, Jack and Arrow!! I'm super excited! Arrow has been so close to completion for MONTHS now and he just needs a few finishing touches. Dyson just needs feet and Jack just needs hands and feet. I will be working on them nonstop on the weekends until the con!

Power came back on so I'm back to work now! I'm taking a quick break right now so I'm going to be posting a few things I've been working on in my free time.

Some bad storms have been rolling through today and we just lost power. There's no telling how long it will be out. Fingers crossed not long. I'll post another journal when it's back. Until then I can't do much work. I might see if I can cut out patterns and things by the light of the window but that's about the extent of what I can do without electricity lol

So I had a pretty good weekend! last week was a nightmare so I decided to take Saturday and Sunday to relax and work on some personal projects. It was really nice to step back from order work and work on some things that I've been really excited about. I will be posting WIP pictures of them in a few minutes. My plan is to finish them all up (at least the heads) over this week since I've been staying up an extra hour or two a night to work on them.

I just got a call from my mother, my grandmother is not doing well... She has Parkinsons and due to complications associated with it is being moved into hospice care. My mother says she could last anywhere from 2 weeks to a month(fingers crossed for longer though)

I am going to be dropping the prices of some sales items today to help raise some money. I would really like to go visit her sometime this week but it's a couple hour drive and I really need to make rent as well so it's hard to afford time off. Any money raised will help get me there and cover what I would be losing to get there.
