Hey everyone, I know its been a realllllly long time. My hiatus was not ment to take like a year but I was sicker than I thought.
But I have finally been making some progress and can now start to return to normal.
My mental health is improving greatly with my new diagnosis and meds. Its kinda unbelievable.
My physical is still a mess. I don't breathe well and cant walk far or stand for long times. But will the mental upgrade I have been able to get outside more. Take very small walk, go for car rides or sit in my yard and stretch a bit. (wow it sounds like I'm a dog XD) With help I should start seeing process there as well. Even if it is slow.

Anyways, I have a sketch book now and will be posting some of em every once and awhile. Not doing digital yet so no fully render pieces yet.
I'm excited to come back and hope you all will keep sticking by me.

I know I haven't been active on here for a bit but I have been working in the background (I have many things that need posting).

With that said I will be going on hiatus until further notice. Things around here have become extreme. After many years of not doing it, I have started self harming again and I have come to the conclusion I need professional help before things escalate more.

This is not a decision I take lightly or even wanted to make, but something I have to do for my health and safety. I will be stepping away from all social media and work to recover.
I will return though, hopefully a lot better.

If I end up posting stuff every once and awhile that wont mean I'm back (maybe just feeling a little better that day or something. I don't want to drop of the face of the earth completely yet)
I will make a journal stating I'm back in full when I am able to.

Hey all, things haven't quite settled down around here (there has yet to be a funeral or anything yet) but I wanted to come off hiatus. Well half off I should say. As I said in my last journal I was doing character art with premade bases for fun to help keep my mind of things. I wanted to share those pieces with you all for those that don't have a toyhouse account. They have helped me quite a bit. But I will be uploading them to the scraps section so you'll have to check there for them. Bases will be credited and linked to when possible.

If base work isn't your thing don't worry. I'm going to start working on my own personal art from time to time. Most likely OCs, fakemon, and things like that. Just no commission work for now. I haven't drawn art for myself in a long while and this character work I have been doing has showed me I need to be doing more of that.

As some of you know from my last journal, my husbands cousin suddenly died recently. Well we now have somewhat of an answer....blood clot. We don't know where (we were not told) but we are guessing lungs. Her husband is digging deeper for more answers so will see what comes next.

I'm been a bit rattled since we were compared to each other a lot, especially when it came to health and such. I have a blood disorder and was in the hospital this year for a blood clot in the heart if you may remember. So hearing that was her cause of death has me freaking out.

I'm still on hiatus from commissions and such but to help ease my anxiety and keep my mind off things I have been dong some character art with bases, (thank you base makers for dong half the work) and posting them on my toyhouse. My husbands cousin died this morning suddenly. We have no idea what happened. She didn't feel well like she had a cold, went to the bathroom and collapsed dead. She left behind two teenage daughters and a very grieving family behind. We hope to have answers after the autopsy for better closure. Again with was very sudden and she was only 46. I will be on hiatus for a bit, and I hope you all understand.

A few things have been happening as of late and I wanted to communicate to you all in case you were wondering where I have been. (read the first sentence of each section for a rough/quick explanation. Keep reading the paragraph for more info)

1)Cousin gave birth with mild complications.
She had her baby (a little girl) but had trouble giving birth. She was given meds to help with labor/dilation but it wasn't working. Over 30+ hours later she was forced to have a c-section.

2) Cousin was admitted to the hospital after birth.
Shortly after she got home she was back in the hospital with Postpartum Preeclampsia. She was in the ICU for a few days and then moved to labor and delivery for a few more days. Shes now home with high blood pressure meds but its been a really scary time.

3) Basement flooded and destroyed stuff.
We had a storm awhile ago and unknown to us our basement flooded. We had no idea until a few days later when we went down to do laundry and was met with a few inches on water. All of my stuff that was in cardboard boxes was sitting in dirty water for days and is now ruined. We had to call a plumber because no matter what we tried we couldn't fix the issue. We've have been having money troubles for awhile now due to unexpected expenses/emergencies and this just added to the issue.

4) Dog may be sick/having problems.
One if my dogs is having symptoms of diabetes and I'm rather scared for her. We can't afford a vet visit just yet and that's adding to my stress levels.

5) Mother is sick and needs surgery.
Ever since she was diagnosed with an aggressive bladder cancer its been nothing but a battle. She had surgery to remove her bladder which got rid of the cancer but shes had complications after complications. During one of her many surgeries she contracted a very aggressive and hard to get rid of infection. Shes been battling it for over a year. We thought she had finally won her battle but my father contacted me today to let me know shes not doing well and its back. They want to go back in to clean it out and leave her with another bag attached to her side. My mother has other issues like diabetes and lupus which make surgery even more complicated.

6)Mentally not well.
Because of everything going on (one after another) my anxiety/depression and stress disorders are being triggered on another level. Ive been trying to make an appointment with my psychologist for awhile now but they haven't returned my calls. I'm out of my ADHD pills and running low on my other meds.

Edit-Tax update. We did our taxes and ended up owing double the amount we were expecting/prepared for. We obviously don’t have that. So let me just crawl into a hole and hide for awhile….

I'm a mess so please excuse me for the lack of art/interactions.

I just wanted to start this off by saying thank you to everyone for giving me this time. Didn't know I would be gone for so long. I'm no longer sick like I was but I'm overloaded with stress. My depression is out of control so much that my anti-anxiety and depression meds are barley helping at all. I have to be on constant alert and ready to help my family at any moment. My grandmother's heart has been having issues. My grandfather was in the hospital with uncontrollable bleeding that they never fingered out. (it just stopped on its own) My mothers surgery was suppose to be 3 maybe 4 hrs but it turned into 8 because of all the issues they ran into once inside. It was worse than what they thought. And now I know my bf is having some health issues we weren't aware of until he had his physical. Oh and my aunt just had a double mastectomy to save her life. My father is like the only one not sick. I cant imaging the kind of stress hes under. Both his parents and wife are having issues....damn. He needs my help now more then ever. In the words of my grandmother "Our family is falling apart." So am I back? Kinda. I wanna start drawing and posting again, even if its slowly. Ill be checking messages more often and trying to stay more connected.

I got my results back and am following their guidelines. The tests I took apparently were not FDA approved and do not detect the mutated strain of covid out there. They let me know my results would still be negative if I had this mutant variant.(which they can't or don't test for) So do I have it or no?....We still don't really know. I'm just gonna treat myself like I do and stay away from people and take it easy for awhile longer. Besides I don't want to catch it if I don't already have it and I don't want to give anyone whatever it is I do have.

Also my mother has been in the hospital for a week+ now with a life threatening kidney problem. She had bladder cancer before and had to have her bladder and other feminine organs removed. Her kidney issues are related to that. She may require up for 3 surgeries to fix it. She has other medical issues too like diabetes and lupus. And along with her age shes not in the greatest of health anyways. So with my own health problems and now hers I will be very busy...

I have been having breathing issues for the past few days but now other symptoms have started to emerge. They line up with COVID-19 symptoms so I'm heading to the hospital tomorrow to get tested. So please excuse my absence for a little while.

Been playing a lot of Animal Crossing New Horizons...trying to drown out the mess the world is in right now. So why not draw some AC babes. Since there are so many characters to choose some, toss me your favorites and I just might draw them. (keep in mind I'm better at females and I will be doing "not so safe for work" art of them cause that's the kinda art I draw) So if your itching to see a certain Animal Crossing character in my style let me know :)
