Wow. just a little over two years since the last update. Where has the time gone?

So, a few things. I hope you're all doing well! It's been busy as heck for me (when isn't it?)

I apologize for being slow with uploading things. I admit there's things here and there that I wish to upload, but they're over the size limit on FA, and at times it's a bother to try and resize just to fit the restrictions, and just makes it harder to tackle. I'll get around to it eventually, promise! In the mean time, here's some that do fit the upload requirements for you!


Secondly. as a PSA. If you see anyone out there on various websites using my art and using my identity for roleplay. IT IS NOT ME. This comes up from time to time on places like Reddit or f-list and the like. Personally? I don't have time or care if people do, but just bear in mind that this isn't something I do. If you wish to bring it to my attention, I'd appreciate it, but I do not wish to give it any more attention than what it is due.

So, anyone that takes a minute to scrutinize my FA can see that I really don't use it all too often (My last journal was 3 years ago, lol.)


This is going to be a blanket statement, if I do upload art, and you comment on it, or you shout on my page, I might not see it right away, however, I do value them. Most times I'm not good at answering, just because I guess I'm not all that great on knowing what to say, so I just sit there and try to think about it, usually taking a long time to do so.

Please don't take my silence for any sort of lack, whether it be apathy, or disdain. Again, I do value the comments.




On another note, and one that's a lot more serious.

I had someone who started talking to a bit ago, and went back and forth for a few weeks, I came to learn that he committed suicide a few days after the last time we spoke. This shook me hard.... I didn't see any signs, nor did anyone else that spoke with him. I genuinely thought they were nice, and well.... I hope absolutely none of you are in the same boat.

There is help out there. there are people willing to listen. Please. don't resort to suicide.

Please, again, if you are feeling down, reach out. I know it's difficult to take that step and to admit you have those feelings, but it's better than the alternative. I want all of you to see a tomorrow, and the next, and the one after that.

I realize it's been two whole years since I've made any sort of journal, I figure it's high time for an update!

Truth be told? busy! mostly been work and various other things with life that just leave me off FA a fair amount, aside from a quick glance at new art every once in awhile, and that's about it.


Another example at why I've been busy... I just recently moved to Arizona! I suspect this is going to leave me far busier, which is perfectly fine for me! pretty excited to be here, and make such a drastic change. on the plus side, I won't have to deal with snow on a daily basis during the winter!

I have a small backlog of art that I need to submit, and will get around to soon.

Beyond life being as it is, everything's been going well so far! hope it's all the same for the rest of you!

Wanted to say thanks to all of you for the faves, watches, and comments. I didn't think I'd get so many with what I submitted, plus my birthday wishes!

Wow. As of yesterday, I've been in the military for 10 whole, solid years. Strange to think of, considering it all seems to have gone by so quickly.


As for other life updates. Merry Christmas to you all. and a new year! Hope things have been well for all of you! I've been doing decently enough. gainfully employed and busy, so I've no major complaints aside from a little thing here and there, work and stress related, but I can deal with it.


In other news, I've been on a huge camping kick (as well as my usual wanting to buy tons of firearms.) been buying all sorts of things in anticipation of this summer coming around, and just getting away for a weekend or two (or an entire week, if I can help it!)

Okay, so, now that I'm back home from a long, long trip out in the field/military stuff, I've had some inspiration.

I was thinking of doing some sort of YCH, with an artist I have yet to find, willing to draw a YCH with a character on my fluffy butt.

Of course, I'm no artist, so I cannot draw it myself, so my idea was, it's a commission, as it were, with my character. Anything going over the fees to work with the artist (or any other arrangement made with the artist) will go to a charity. wounded warrior, red cross, or if you have any ideas of a foundation worthy of the cause, let me know!


any thoughts on this? who'd be willing to chip in and donate for a good cause, and some fluffy ass? (or to find an artist who might be willing to help?)

This shit right here hits me in the feels, hard.

Okay, in celebration of me getting over 1,000 watchers, I decided to put this contest together. The contest is easy. Enter below with a reference or picture of a feral dragon of some fashion, or, a character that can be made into a feral dragon, and get involved with one of my lucky ladies. I noticed I have doodles in my folders here of art other people have drawn, that I haven't submitted. the question I have for you folks is this... Are you interested in seeing them, or cause they are doodles, do you not care?

"Mind if we I go for a spin with you?" She asked, inquisitively.
"Sure, anytime." I said, unenthusiastically, trying to sound lighthearted, joking. This trip to the gas station, dangerously low on fuel, running on fumes at one A.M. taking a chance down the main avenue for gas after a long days work. I expected the station to be empty, only to see another driver, a woman peculiarly dressed in a flowing, rainbow colored dress with frills on both top and bottom, and blond, nearly white hair. I turned my head back to my car, trying to avoid a glance, putting my hand to the 89 Octane, casually flipping the fuel door to my metallic specked, black as night 300c.
"Care to see my Apartment?" She asked a few moments after the pumping had begun. This of course, raised a suspicious, wary eyebrow, only to momentarily glance over my shoulder in shock, only to see her pointing at her older, white Plymouth Cirrus. Despite the cars age, it looked remarkably well, from a casual glance, not wishing to afford a longer look, especially after the open, and rather awkward invitation. "It's my new home after tonight, now that my boyfriend beat me and kicked me out of the house. All my stuff is still there too, which he's going to keep. Oh well."
My mind fumbled trying to think of what to say in response, only to manage a "I'm sorry to hear. One can hope for karma to get back at him." Keeping my head to my work as I mentioned, trying to look busy, distracted by attending my own car as it seemingly filled agonizingly slow with that precious, much needed gasoline.
"Yeah, he got his the first time he beat me. Tore his ACL. That's what that nigger gets. Beat me a second time and get thrown out." She continued. This shocking statement elicited another shocking glance, my eyes wide in disbelief for words uttered so casually, equally seeing her casually using the provided squeegee and sponge combination wand for cleaning windshields. Though I'm sure her mind wasn't quite in a calm and placid place, after what could only be described as traumatizing and hurtful, certainly still unwarranted, even if it was only to vent.
I quickly finished my pumping, keeping my eyes averted as I walked up to the storefront, wishing I had just paid with card instead of going inside, muttering and cursing to myself at having wasted precious time to get away from the situation. I stepped inside to the thankful, quiet moment of reprieve, grabbed a drink, and quickly paid, despite the fact the building sheltered the awkwardness of the conversation, the weight of the exchange was still heavy, and knowing I had to go back out there, no doubt to get some parting words before I left. I quickly stepped out into the warm, humid air, fresh from some rainfalls earlier in the day.
"You let me know when you wanna go for a spin!" She called out, still working to clean her windows as I walked passed.
"Certainly! I'll let you know!" I called back, jokingly, hiding my expression of horror the best I could manage, before quickly closing my car door, keys in the ignition, and a quick and speedy exit out of the station.


Yes. This happened. Tonight. It was so... I don't even have the words to describe it... wow, I guess, that I had to write a story to it. TL;DR I'm sure. but WOW. just... what?

There are a lot of times where I do stupid, for intentions thought to be good, or justifiable. That's a given, not just for myself, but for most others out there. We're not perfect. However, I don't really give myself any excuse in the matter. I'm harder on myself to allow otherwise. There's a lot of things I regret, feel folly on. Things that I wish I could say to those who have turned cast a long and dark shadow in my direction. I wish to those people I could apologize to the most. Even if things don't end well, I'd still like to look back fondly on the good, to be at least amicable. I miss the people I used to talk to, be closer to. I wish I could name them, or at least be able to speak to them.




In other, unrelated news, I nearly obliterated a deer going at 65 tonight, after swapping vehicles in for servicing, and making the drive back towards the home depot.

It took A LOT of willpower to finish this short story.
