I hope everyone has been having a great Fall/Winter season! This is definitely my fave time of the year so I've been enjoying the last few months immensely, despite not really getting more than a slight temp tweak down here in Florida. Still, that little dip has put me in a wintry, Christmas mood >^_^< Eee! Can't believe it will be here soon! Think it's time I add a holiday themed bit of giveaway art to my queue, especially since I'm now sitting at over 300 watchers, OMG!!! Hiya folks! >^_^< Ok, I'll come right out and say it...I am quite the dunce when it comes to computers and technology. Beyond being able to push the on/off switch, there is precious little I can accomplish when I sit down at my workstation. I have a picture I would really like to print out to be used as wall decor. My little inkjet just can't seem to handle the palette I used -- many of the colors are pretty far off of the mark of what they look like on-screen. Do any of you fine folks have any suggestions as to what I can do to make these colors match up better? I'm happy to take the file to a place like Kinkos or Staples and print it out there, so long as the finished product is truer to what it should be. I feel like there is probably some simple process I am overlooking...any tips? wisdom? Major thanks in advance if you can help!! >^_^<

I hope everyone is doing well! I am a busy little Whiskery these days -- lots of commission work to keep my fingers flying hehe. I should be posting some of that art here soon. I'll try to get caught up on my notes in the near future, too!

Recently I have been tinkering a little bit with some felt side projects and my sleepy brain hit upon a new idea for a craft I'd like to try. I thought it might be fun to get you guys in on the act! >^_^< Unlike my previous raffles, this one does come with a few rules which you would need to be willing to agree to, so please read carefully before entering!!

Rules:
1a. Your character will be simplified down to their most basic details, so I can't promise a full set of rainbow stripes down the back of a beautiful dragon. Plan for, like, three ;)
1b. Babyfur characters only please.
2. This project will actually serve as a prototype for a product I will most likely try to sell. The plan is to take some nice pictures of it after completion to be loaded onto a business website such as Etsy. I ABSOLUTELY WILL *NOT* SELL IT AS-IS, WITH YOUR CHARACTERS; NEITHER WILL I TAKE ANY CREDIT FOR YOUR PERSONAL CREATIONS. It will just be a reference for prospective buyers! I can link back to you as the owner of the character, or I can state the character was created by somebody who wishes to remain anonymous. Feel free to shoot me a note if you have any questions about this part. If you are the lucky winner, be prepared to hear a rehash of this statement ;)
3. I will choose a theme and run it by you for your approval. Everything will be completely G-rated.
4. This might take a while to finish. Just FYI!
5. After completion I would be happy to gift you my prototype! If you live in the USA the process should be fairly easy. Outside of the US, I may ask you to help cover some of the shipping charges, in case they inflate a bit too high. Honestly this craft should be fairly flat and easy to ship, but you never know about pricing with the goofy postal service ^_^;

I think that covers it! >^_^< I do hope you'll join in the fun! I could create some little nondescript babs for this but I think it would be great to work with a character who is established and cherished already. If you're still interested please pick a number between 1-75 and post it here along with a reference sheet. Closest number (rounding down) wins. Good luck and thanks a bunch for participating! Hi all! Quick question -- will pieces put in the scraps folder show up on a watcher's submitted feed? I know dA has an option to opt in or out of viewing the scraps of an artist you're following.

Now to the good stuff >^_^< I've already got 25 watchers (wow! I've only been here 4 days!) and I think it would be fun to fulfill an art request. Something very simple, such as a character standing around looking cute and completely G-rated. Anybody interested? I think we'll do this like my last contest...choose a number between 1-35 and drop it here in this journal, and I'll use a random number generator to pick the winner sometime this week. What a great welcome I'm receiving! In one day I've gotten over ten watchers, lots of nice shouts, and several friendly emails. Thanks a bunch to all of you for reaching out to say hello!

Let's get the creative ball rolling with a little art project I'm currently sketching -- This is a shoutout to all of you *watchers* who have a babyfur character, or a character who can be aged down appropriately; if so, and you wouldn't mind having them play a small cameo in a G-rated pic drawn by myself, join in on my mini contest!

To play is super simple: I've picked a number between 1-35 and I'm looking for someone to correctly guess that number, or get as close as possible (I'll round down). Just leave your guess in the shout box please -- if for some strange reason this becomes a landslide, I will put up all the chosen numbers in a journal. We'll give this until, oooh, let's say whenever I sit down to my computer on Saturday morning.
