GFM2018 Roommate Needed
Posted 8 years agoSo I've registered for Gateway Furmeet. Now All I need is a roommate, since I'm 19 and can't get my own room xux; I'd want someone female (I'm female) who didn't smoke, though I doubt smoking is allowed in the hotel anyway. I really hope I can find someone while there are spots at the Doubletree. I really need to stay there, as I've never been to St. Louis and I don't think I'd be very safe or comfortable wandering around alone ^^;
Where Have I Been?
Posted 8 years agoHaven't been here for a little while X3 I have 1,174 submissions and 146 journals, great X3
I've been working on my fursuit head and hanging around on Second Life. I've also been on Furry Amino, where people talk to me. I think comparing Furry Amino and here, here is like a series of closed doors, and Furry Amino is like a pool party kinda, or a crowded market. Everything there is in one place, and it's super easy to talk to everyone. Every time I post there I get a response >w< An acknowledgement of what I said at the very least. And after years of being part of the community I finally have a few friends, or at least some folks I've had multiple conversations with. It's great! And I don't mind that the people there are younger, at least they'll talk to me. They don't seem to mind I'm older, and I've only found one person so far who bothered me, while I've found many more people in their mid-late twenties here who are so bitter and angry and dark, I wouldn't want to bump into them irl, let alone chat with them over the internet ^^; I don't know what happens to folks as they get older, but it doesn't seem to have happened to the younger folks I've met. I hope I'm not that intimidating when I get older. There of course, are people here older than me who aren't like that, but when I think of "FA User" I can only remember those people and the ones who just seem way older than me but then actually aren't. I like greymuzzles though uwu It's just a very specific age range I seem to find some issues with, and I think a lot of folks on here are in that range so that it's great XD Maybe FA isn't a super great representation of the community, idk. But the positive side is easily seen on Furry Amino if you don't mind people who are younger than you.
Anyway, on Furry Amino I go by Hrin or Goof, so if you wanna talk to me those are my usernames. Head is closed to being finished, paws are in progress. Haven't drawn much lately but I'll finish some things soon.
Next week I'll be packing up my home-items for my dad's moving, and getting ready to leave AZ and go back to school. On the Amino I'm open for commissions. Prices are low because I'm just starting and my work isn't perfect, but if you're interested take a look.
Also I don't know if I've said it or not, but I'm no longer going to MFF. ;w; It would just be way too much to deal with and figure out on my own. I'll probably be able to room with and hang out with some nice folks I met on Furry Amino at Gateway Furmeet, if one of their parents agrees to come with them ^w^ Hopefully they will. I'm looking forward to the experience~

MFF, GFM
Posted 8 years agoI really wanna just ask someone if I can stay with them, but it would be awkward and I need a lot more help like that, like a child ^^; I'm really not good at- .... When it comes to new experiences, it always take me a while to adjust to everything. Probably has something to do with my autism X3 If my family goes swimming, it takes a very long time for me to finally get in the water and advance past the steps. I'll sit for 30 minutes to an hour while everyone is in the pool and finally end up slightly past the stairs X3 Or I'll not get in at all.
It takes me a while to get comfortable in new situations, whether I find theme exciting or not. At my first furmeet I couldn't stop looking around at all the cool suits. I was so distracted I couldn't eat XD I kind of need to be handheld through things I've never done before in order to do them well ^^; I still call or text my mom for help sometimes from college. I can do things on my own, but in order to make the best choice I wanna have someone to help me. But it's a lot to ask for, in my opinion. I don't want to approach someone with that kind of responsibility: "Hey, can I not only share and pay for a room with you but hang out with you more and etc.?" It's a huge huge thing for me to figure out on my own, and if I can't find a room quickly for MFF that I would be sharing with as many others as possible to save cash, I won't be able to go >u> How do other aspies and autistic people do this kind of stuff. They probably have friends or folks who help them, but I really don't know what I'll be doing. I really want to go to a con, but if I can't find a way to figure this out quickly, I don't know what I'll do. ^^;
I want to go to MFF, but it may be too expensive for me, and left alone to wander at such a big place will be pretty intimidating and difficult for me. I'm not sure I should go mostly because of the price. I did already put it in my mind that I was going to go, bu I doubt I can actually understand how big and how much it might be for me to handle. ^^; It might be better to go the year after that. It's really difficult for me to decide on now. And of course, I'd be going into this almost completely alone. >o>
edit: I'll ask around on the Furrry Amino, which has made my socialization within the community a thousand times easier and more possible. X3 I really don't know how people make big groups of friends here. It seems like Twitter or something is always used instead.

First Con Confusion
Posted 8 years agoI CAN GO TO MFF AFTER ALL!!!!!!!!! :0 *flips off a mountain*
I've never been to a con before, I know no furries, but I know I'm supposed to share a room with someone and take care of my physical body while I'm there. X3 I have no handler either >->; Not good because I might wanna try suiting a bit. Just a partial, but still got reduced vision and heat and all that.
I'll be stumbling into this massive experience like a toddler ^^; But even the toddlers will know what they're doing better than me, and they'll probably have caretakers to help them. Is anyone willing to help me with the con process? I've never had luck here with socialization, but everyone on the Furry Amino is a minor pretty much, or the older folks wouldn't wanna help me >u>;
But if Senpai drops me off when we get there and I have no place to go and no idea what to do, I might cry.

Gateway Furmeet
Posted 8 years agoOmg. >w< It's completely possible for me to go!! But I don't know how I'd get to St. Louis from Columbia, or who I would stay with ^^; I'd have to save up a lot of money to enjoy myself, but it would be so fun and such a cool experience. I also don't have any furry friends, so I'd be quite alone in the experience ;u; I mean, maybe I could meet someone AT the con, but I really need someone to be with me for the whole process >o>; It's just one of those types of things for me. I've never done it, and I don't know anyone, so I'm not sure where to start...
Submission Overload
Posted 8 years agoI had over 1,000 commissions today xux It had been around 800 last time I had checked, but I came back today and boom! Over a thousand. I love art. I love seeing all the stuff folks draw here, and I love so many different art styles and artists >u< I'm down to 300 now, but omg. So many. And I missed so many good journals, too. GOOD journals with free art attached to them. I used to be dying for someone to draw my characters. But I had to detach myself from the idea of that being a thing since not a lot of people do it and when they do 40 other people have already replied to the journal before I could, or because I don't have any good character references yet that are easy to get details from (I have one or two, but many more characters than that). *sigh*
Hello
Posted 8 years agoIs anyone there? :v
I've been working on my head recently. Can't figure out how to attach my jaw or where it separately ^^; I don't have a mannequin head and burned my face with hot glue yesterday trying to figure stuff out, heh. I don't have tape for patterning, so I can't cut out any fur yet.
I really want to make a head with a moving jaw because I'm not great with nonverbal communication (ever) or super comfortable with character acting (yet), and the expression on the head isn't great and isn't doing the talking for me. The best way I communicate in real life is with my words, so I want to be able to speak however clearly a moving jaw allows, with it being obvious I'm speaking. I saw that Beastcub had some type of jaw called an articulated jaw, which was separate from the head somehow (at one point in the video she pulled it right out of the head!) but moved almost perfectly with her jaw when she spoke. I would love to replicate/emulate that. The only issue is my head won't be super fluffy like the tiger head she was wearing, so it would be more difficult to make it work without looking weird.
It's a foam head, which makes things a bit difficult sometimes, but I like it.

Badgers and Squirrels
Posted 8 years agoThis account has been represented by both a badger and a squirrel. Now I'm not sure which to choose :v I'll have to make an icon with both in it, which will be very difficult because I'm not great with pixel art and I use MS Paint to draw and can only go so small there. Don't have the cash to commission anyone either.
Right now I'm just angry and nervous due to how a person in my city's local furry group is treating me, so I don't feel like either. I just feel bad. Darn person.

Dammit
Posted 8 years agoMy freaking earphones broke >n< I JUST got a Playstation Vita. I spent almost all of my money on a case, 3 games, and a memory card. And now my freaking earphones are broken xnx I don't know what to do. I love sound and music, and the music and sound of a new system and its games are some of the things I most look forward to when I get them. I don't even play most of my games unless I can hear them, so I'm really fucked now. One of the games is still on its way, too. I have such bad luck xnx I don't even have $30, so I can't get new earphones. I learned how they break, so I don't even wanna buy a pair that doesn't come with a warranty. Every pair I get breaks after 3-5 months, and no matter what I do this happens. Once I had a pair with a case and they broke just as fast. It's just a flimsy product. Wireless ones would be the best for me to have, but no one will give me their money. No one wants to buy me anything, and I don't get enough attention to do commissions, and even in the past when I've had commissions open no one wanted them. One of the few things I could sell besides most of my belongings (actually I'd need transportation to sell them, and I don't have it) is my art. ^^; If only I were better, I wouldn't have an issue right now.
I'm glad the Vita's case arrived today. Now it won't get as dusty while it sits for two months until I can get the cash to help MYSELF, since no one ELSE will help me. I am in a very bad position.

[Fur Universe Info] Hrin's Culture?
Posted 8 years agoSome things I kinda came up with for Hrindell's culture/home place whatever.
I assume their native language is both written and verbal. Verbal probably contains a lot of the noises gray squirrels actually make to communicate, and written is probably super specific and complex, consisting of claw scratches. It's probably got a lot of straight lines but also some curved ones, like Japanese maybe but a lot more vertical if that makes sense.
Any accidental scratches or damaging to the print would most likely make it difficult to read, so their texts couldn't preserved super well. But I think things would be oral a lot more than written down.
Names are always pronounced the same way pretty much, so the way they're written will be however the person writing thinks it should be based on how it sounds.(So Hrindell could be Hrin, Rin, Rindell, Rindel, etc.) Names often vary enough to not be very easily mistaken for one another through writing or saying aloud.
Family is probably at least a little important. Communication will be very important, and tail movements will be a big part of face-to-face communication. Tail movements will also be part of long-range communication, along with vocal calling like chirps and barks and howls and stuff.
They're probably all at least semi-clothed. Certain clothing materials can be a status symbol or show of wealth. Shoes are not worn because feet are needed for climbing.
Village is high up in the trees, where there are the most branches. Trees are important, of course.

Hm...
Posted 8 years agoI think I hate my life. (I need immersion and I can't get it because I'm poor)
(I'm fucking dying to go somewhere new and cool, to be a different person in a different place, where a different story and different setting are going on, but I fucking can't because I'm POOR and none of my friends are willing to spend money on me and fortunate and rich people couldn't give a fuck about me so I'm just going to fucking languish and rot and go fucking insane and die from monotony and dissatisfaction.)
(No one is willing to help me, and it's not as easy for me as getting a job.)
Just fucking kill me, put me out of my misery already. I should've have to experience this. There are entire worlds out there that I will never, ever get to explore, and people who could never appreciate them properly go there two or three times a year just because they're fucking RICH.
I realized that the deep sadness and longing I feel every summer is my fucking longing to IMMERSE MYSELF and EXPLORE. Two things I can';t fucking do. I'm trapped in this goddamn (sorry God) house all the time, all the FUCKING TIME! I CAN'T GO ANYWHERE!!!!!! I don't have a car, I don't have a job, I don't have rich friends or friends who care about me enough to take me places!! I am completely unable to help myself, and no one is willing to help me!! So what can I fucking do?!
I realized I long to go to Japan not just because of my love and all that for it, but because it's an entirely new and different world I have yet to explore or experience for myself. 3 of my 6 friends have been there, one is going to fucking Australia right now, and I've left the house 4 TIMES in two or three fucking weeks. I've seen the same thing every day for so many fucking days in a row, it's driving me CRAZY. I CAN'T HAVE ANOTHER MONOTONOUS SUMMER!!!!!!!!!! I FUCKING CAN NOT DO IT. THIS HAS TO FUCKING STOP!!!!! If there are people born lucky and people who are just plain fucking fortunate, there has to be some wya I can go somewhere fucking cool without fucking KILLING MYSELF FIRST, omg I just wanna SCREAM right now. No one cares, no one knows, no one wants to know, and no one is able to help if they actually want to. I could stuff my fucking corpse with all the "I wish you could" and "I hope you can" and "Things will get better" that I've heard. I'm not gonna fucking die physically, but if I don't get the hell out of here Lord knows what will happen to me. I HAVE to get out of here. I HAVE TO.
I'm so mad I can't even fucking see straight now, great.

Furry Character List
Posted 8 years agoSomeone I know made a character list. Good idea, person X3 I feel like writing, and it would be nice to write down who the heck the folders in my "Furry" folder in Pictures belong to. Then also if someone wanted me to draw a certain character I could do it *w* I have no choice but to give proper traits to all the characters in my possession now >:3

Non-OC Acceptance Idea
Posted 8 years agoI just figured out how I could take characters that I didn't make myself XD Each character would be given an apartment room in the same city my standby characters live in X3 It would then be easy to introduce them to that place and blend them into the world that those characters are in. It would be like Tomodachi Life~

Posted 8 years agoI started a blog, so now I don't have to post my thoughts here anymore. X3 I still kinda want to, though. *shrugs* Not going to.

Posted 8 years agoCan't thank someone?! CAN'T THANK SOMEONE?! OAO BUT HOW ARE THEY GONNA KNOW I APPRECIATE THEM?!
I don't wanna seem like one of those cold mannequin-like artists who never speaks to or acknowledges anyone or anything, even with 10,000 people praising and worshipping them. I don't even have 10 people, so I'm 10,000 times as grateful and if my tail wags I can't stop it for God's sake. I just gotta say thank you ;0; Just delete my comment. Don't even respond! But let me thank you. It's the least you could do. It's the most I could do. Keep my mouth shut when 1 out of 1 million people took time out of their life to let me know that something I created had some positive impact on them in some way and that they liked it? :0 That's just torture. Why not just come up and kick me in the face directly?

Why not just come up and kick me in the face directly?

[Daydream Info] Succubi and Incubi
Posted 8 years ago[Species/Race]
Succubi and Incubi are not classified as humanoids due to their inability from birth to change into a species, but can technically be lumped under “demons”. They are a very magical race known mostly for their relation to sex and high levels of physical attraction, but also for their intelligence and skill when it comes to business affairs.
[Magic]
+They are very magical. Able to physically change sex at will from birth. Magic and life energy is stored in and stems from the horns, therefore, damage to the horns greatly weakens them. Their energy comes from within instead of nature, and they can naturally interact with and observe the energies around them (meaning from other living beings).
+They are excellent teleporters and some of the only beings who are able to have their own private realm in the universe by intentionally opening a portal to an uninhabited and unfamiliar place and then claiming it, giving them complete control over it (usually used to make it private/unreachable by others who haven't been invited in). These areas usually become paused in the state that they were found in, so a place that was found at night will be night until the landowner decides to let it change. When succubi or incubi aren’t living in cities with others of their kind, they usually use places like these as a home they can always return to, and tend to travel often because they always have access to home.
+Some succubi and incubi use magic to imprison beings they find appealing to keep as pets or slaves. While most are reasonable and trustworthy, some are evil and do not treat those beings well. They are looked down upon by others of their race as a result, but are still powerful beings.
[Recognized For]
+Sex. They are highly sexual beings who gain a lot of magic and social power from the act. They are naturally skilled at it and can be seen as experts at it. It is an activity often done daily. It can be used easily to get things they want or to win people over, and it is an easy way of expressing power over others. It can be used to heal as well, in some circumstances.
+Business. They are some of the largest business owners in their reality. Practically using sex as a currency already in communities of other races and being able to quickly travel long distances gives them the knowledge and ability to sell, spread, and advertise whatever they want. They know what others want and how to get it to them. They're usually also already wealthy, which makes it even easier to find the prices others will bend to. They will start their own businesses and work alone or hire others to work for or with them, and almost always prosper. Some common businesses run by them are restaurants, bars, clubs, healing and medical services (as a result of knowing bodies and energy very well), and sexual services.
[Physical]
+Succubi and incubi can easily be spotted by their high levels of attractiveness, horns, and tails. Fangs, unique hair colors, and brightly colored eyes are also common.
+Usually lean, no matter the level of strength or power. Height varies with region.
+Some have proportional wings that can be flapped to allow flight, some have smaller wings that don't move while the owner is still able to float and move through the air, some have no wings at all. Wings are not necessary for flight.
+Some tails have barbs or spines that can be venomous, depending on region. Tails are also prehensile and move with the mood of the owner, and their thickness, color and length vary.
+Horn thickness, color, shape, size, and texture vary widely. There are a few common types, however. Horns are very strong, but can break with enough force, leaving their owners highly sensitive and severely weakened physically, mentally, and magically.
+Horns and tail can be erogenous zones.
+Able to change sex at will, by changing their whole appearance or just adding or removing sexual organs.
+Most succubi and incubi with fangs are also able to drink blood. For those who don't naturally need it in their diet, it can provide a great boost to physical and magic power. Bites from those who do need it when they're hungering for it are often placed in areas where the most blood flows, leaving those on the receiving end with wounds that can be fatal, however, succubi and incubi who use their fangs often can seal and heal the wounds immediately.
+Their bones are the strongest, and if ever broken can rarely be repaired and may lead to death.
+Succubi and incubi can live for thousands of years.
+They usually are not born, but arrive, and have arrivals instead of births.
[Societal?]
+Most succubi and incubi come from families that have been around for hundreds of thousands of years, some even existing during the time of the last lone humans, before their destruction.
+While achievements and successes are celebrated and respected, wealth is not as highly sought after or valued in their society as it is in others. This is most likely because they usually arrive fortunate and wealthy, and it is not difficult for them to attain wealth. Work is usually traded for specific things one wants, and not wealth. Businesses are usually run not in order to gain wealth, but to gain respect, for their own amusement, or as a service to the community; to give them a place to spend their money, enjoy their time, and eat luxurious and traditional foods.
+Children who live in cities can go to school, and usually get sexual education early so they know how to handle their powers before they get them. They are usually treated like young adults and given the same respect and treatment by adults as others are given. School is not mandatory, as parents can easily give their children experiential lessons as they have access to wide varieties of cultures and places already and the children are intelligent and learn fast enough to go without teaching.
+Pets and slaves of other races are wildly popular. Parents get their children guardians and companions of other races and have their own as well. Beings kept as pets are usually treated well and ended up that way as a result of their own actions, so they rarely have reasons to try to leave and wouldn't be able to even if they wanted to. Succubi and incubi who live both in cities and on their own are known to have pets or assistants of other races.
+Cooking is popular in their society. Their traditional foods are enjoyed by beings of other races as well. Traditional recipes were easily preserved due to the long lifespans of their owners, so foods of the past are widely available and served with their exact ingredients in many restaurants.
+Humans are seen extremely negatively. They are not kept as pets or slaves, and are often killed on site by members of this race. They are treated the worst by humans due to similarities between them and the creatures humans claim their religion has made the enemy. Humans refuse to see them as individuals with varying personalities and thoughts, and succubi and incubi lack patience for their low levels of intelligence.
+Some larger communities have governments with one or multiple leaders and laws that must be followed.
+They don't have to think of which language they already know, their race's or universal, to speak it. It changes depending on who they're talking to.
+Race, sex, and gender aren't important when determining who to choose as a partner, and many succubi and incubi find it difficult to stay with one partner and have fairly open relationships instead.
[History]
Succubi and Incubi have existed since before the last humans who lived without the new races were destroyed. It was after they were destroyed, however, that most information about them was kept. They were known as an extremely intelligent race, naturally book-smart and skilled at math, science, and medicine. But over time a change took place, rumored to be chemical or some type of genetic mutation, that made them more and more sex-obsessed. They lost their interest in intelligent topics and suffered from nymphomania and satyriasis that smudged their good reputation. They became know for their hypersexualized nature, which made many older ones ashamed and embarrassed. In the past, they hadn't been very sexual at all. After the years of hypersexualization, in recent times, things have started to return to some form of normal. Now the race is at a nice mix between the old and the new, but their reputation is still struggling.

[Daydream Info] Introduction and Foundation
Posted 8 years agoI've been "daydreaming", writing stories visually/experientially through the eyes and perspectives of the characters I've created in the settings I've created, since I was 9. As these stories are written through the eyes of living beings who live their days one at a time, just like we do, there is no plot. Events take place as they do, and I don't control each character's individual action if I can help it. I don't think I'm omniscient, because while taking the perspective of one character I only know what they know. When I'm a character, I suppose I can be seen as taking a spot in their mind, but I am not them and they are not aware of me, just like book or movie characters are not aware of their audiences.
I typically jump from life to life, through different planets, universes, and dimensions, usually by attaching myself to a character who is going there from the place I focused on.
Now, speaking in reference to the place I've created:
There are infinite dimensions and universes all over space. There are different races and species to start with. Originally, I eliminated the existence of humans. The story was that they caused the end of their world and destroyed their solar system because they sucked and didn't respect the earth and all that. But over time, they've become more present overall, in some places much more than others. Once humans were destroyed, somehow eventually came the humanoids~
[Humanoid Race]
Humanoids are beings that can appear to be human and usually take a human form, but are actually other living beings, usually animals. Humanoids use magic from nature and are stronger than humans in every way. They can teleport to places they have been before or with other people and communicate with telepathy. They have higher temperatures (varying by species) and their stomach acid is strong enough to dissolve whatever they have to eat, so they almost never have to excrete anything and don't throw up unless they are fatally ill. The acid strength varies depending on the species. Humanoids often have physical characteristics and traits of their specific species. For example, humanoids of flying species have the option of having wings proportional to their bodies, allowing them to fly, and humanoids with moving ears and tails can have them visible as well and be able to use them. Humanoids are able to choose whichever aspect of their natural form they would like to show and also have it not show if they don't want to. Humanoids can only change between their human-appearing forms and their natural forms. They usually don't have multiple lives, but their spirits can sometimes be brought back to the living world and given back their physical form. Pregnancy is not usually very visible, and children are carried for a very short amount of time. Growth and maturity accelerate and humanoid children are usually much more mature and stronger than human children. Once they are of a teen-like age aging begins to slow down. Humanoids live much longer than humans (though lifespan varies by species), and do not usually show signs of old age in their human-appearing form. They also heal at an accelerated rate (usually almost immediately), without scars or permanent markings forming. Their interactions with humans can be friendly, but are usually apprehensive and distrusting at first unless their species was one that once lived alongside humans often, such as a dog or cat. These species are rare. They usually lack religion, but some species have identified deities that they respect and acknowledge. As a result of the lack of religion, they lack a reason for certain actions or thoughts to be forbidden, and are therefore much more open-minded, carefree, and relaxed overall than humans. Humanoids can turn feral if put into highly stressful or traumatic situations for too long, but once they have been free of them for a while they can start to act normal again.
Though they usually live and travel alone or in very small groups, humanoids often live in mixed societies in nature, or with their species in isolated groups. Their species usually do not have a collective history.
[Non-Humanoid Races]
Non-Humanoids usually are born or newly arrive in the form that is what they truly are and cannot be completely or permanently change. This includes centaurs and satyrs, merfolk and sirens, demons (succubi, incubi, imps, etc.), insects/bugs, plants, elementals, fairies, vampires, and more. Many are beings who sense most of the world around them through magic or energy of some sort. Magical non-humanoids' magic usually comes from within and/or their connection their race. Non-humanoids can be much stronger than humanoids or about the same strength, depending on the specific race. They have less relation to humans and don't get along with them as well. Many of these races are not recognized by human religion, and are as a result seen as unnatural and monstrous and usually mistreated by them. Non-humanoid races (if not alone) often live in large societies made up of their race, with governments or hierarchies and social customs. They often have a preserved history of their race.
[Humans]
The origin of humanoids. In comparison to most other species they are extremely weak and untalented. They are seen as semi-intelligent, build things with no attention to how they impact the earth, and mistreat most species for their own entertainment. They can't teleport or use magic or telepathy. In high numbers they can be difficult to face, and it's often the only thing they have going for them. They usually live in big cities and suburbs where humans dominate. In some human-led areas other species and races are allowed, usually humanoids with the most acceptance while other races find it hard to live there due to accessibility issues or racism, but in some places humans attack any other species who might venture in. Some other races avoid and kill humans out of fear of being put in a circus or zoo or being killed or imprisoned by them first. Human living spaces are usually not as technologically as advanced as humanoid living spaces, but some human societies (very, very few) have begun creating primitive machines that can open some portals to places they haven't been. In places where humans can be kept as pets, they are known for their awkwardness in most situations, trainability due to long memory and intelligence, and usually the inability to speak, though pet humans who can speak are seen as more valuable. Pet humans are bred intentionally to not have the ability to speak, and before being owned they live in communities where they are taught to be cooperative and obedient, and to think less than normal humans. Normal humans who are raised with humanoids tend to be slightly stronger and healthier than humans raised with other humans. Humans once had many different appearances depending on the area they were born in, but once the race resurfaced these differences disappeared. Humans commonly hold an ancient monotheistic religion and live by their beliefs in it, though it was written before a majority of the species and races that appeared after their destruction arose. As a result, they often mistreat these species and see them as inherently evil or wrong in some way. This discrimination makes it hard for many races to interact with and accept humans as beings somewhat equal to them. The religion also makes many actions forbidden or wrong, and other races fail to understand why humans continue holding such beliefs when it limits their lives in such a way.
[Legendary Races]
Legendary races are usually seen as authority figures, live a long time, are often very rare, and are very powerful. There are not many legendary races, but the most common to be found are dragons, phoenixes, gods/goddesses/deities, elemental spirits, and walking spirits.
[Other Races]
Another race is the android race, made up of living beings whose bodies were created by other beings using unnatural materials. Once created, they almost always have souls and sentience. Their souls often exist in their brains, and can be transferred from body to body. They are able to endure a lot of force to their bodies, but are not self-healing and must be repaired when physically damaged. They can't really get sick, but can get bugs and virus spread electronically. They vary greatly in appearance, physical complexity, personality, strength, and purpose, but some made for consumers in cities can have exact copies of themselves. However, these usually stray from their default identities and change once they have their own life and owner.
Once an organic being dies, their spirit or soul will go to an afterlife specific to their location or race. The afterlife is a state and a location, where beings who have lost their physical forms can still live and thrive. It is usually in the same location as the living world, but in the sky and in a different realm that only they can visit. Some afterlives have their own laws and hierarchies, and some have their own organizations. However, while the beings there are just as sentient as before, the afterlife is not a direct mirror of the realm of the living. Some beings there can travel between realms and dwell among the living, and some races can see and interact with them.
Magic can be used with spells, edible things, or just through being manipulated by the user's body. It is used most often for healing, fighting, and traveling. It is also common to imbue clothing items with magic and to use magic for cooking. For magical non-humanoid races, magic is present or used in almost every aspect of life.

Plans for Koa-ki
Posted 8 years agoI need to change her drastically to get rid of any past traces of anything. She's still a pet (originally made to represent me when I was usually like that), but the pet of a lovely succubus (who I am still struggling to draw) *w* ~
The gems on her collar are carnelian and onyx, for a variety of reasons, and the charm is two succubus tails kind of in the shape of a bone. I've aged her up/matured her and given her some new traits I'll hopefully draw soon~ I'm looking forward to seeing more of who I want her to be.
I also needed to change her so I could still wear her tail and ears X3 I worked very hard on them and they're the best quality and best looking things I've made so far that I can wear.
Her mistress is called Alo (Like aloe). I was trying to draw her for hours until I realized I just couldn't make her horns work the way I had drawn them. Guess I'll have to try again later. I'm not really a humanoid artist , so I once again have planned a character that would look best if someone else drew them X3 How annoying. But once Alo-se has been drawn by me she'll have the opportunity to look much better~
Ahem
Posted 8 years agoI submitted something :0
I wanted to draw and I did it! And I hadn't even planned on it, whoa~
I hope I can draw more, though I can't sell any art or make suits for my characters.
My motivation is a mess.

Commissions?
Posted 9 years agoThinking of just having commissions open. I don't get a pot of foot traffic around here anyway, but maybe one of the random people who came by would want to buy some art for a low price? ^^ I might make like $3, which would be $3 more than I had before. They'd be pay what you want (minimum $3 XD) since I don't don't feel that it should probably ever be more than $5- $6 and having a set price might repel anyone who came by. Only issue would be....well my art's not magical or anything. But if folks can see it, they'll know what they'll be getting pretty much. My style doesn't change a whole lot from what I know.
Meet the Artist?
Posted 9 years agoI wonder if I should do one of those. Others are, and I rarely draw myself. However, if any of you are familiar with One Hundred Demons by Lynda Barry, I've been thinking about doing my own similar comics. I'd probably post those on deviantart.
But are Meet the Artist things used for an ID picture or usually just drawn and left in the gallery? :?

Posted 9 years agoRequest Status: None. I'm doing it on my own time, unfortunately. Every time I try to draw it doesn't turn out well or I remember some assignment I have to do. Once I get everything in order I'll have time to draw again uwu
Saw Hidden Figures today. It was pretty good~ I'm usually not a fan of true-story African American movies, since I've already had to see too many of them (I'm black and my dad likes them) and they're often not about something I'm interested in or not very good overall. But that one was great >w< I got the Kids' Pack and some buncha crunch to eat while watching it. Kids' Pack makes it super easy to decide what to munch on, and I wasn't trying to fill up~ I watched the movie with the other girls from my school, which made it pretty nice since their reactions were amusing.
My Alola island trial amulet should arrive this week or early next week. I'm super excited >w< Though I hardly have time for Pokemon now. But I'll try my best to keep up with schoolwork, so I can train and draw like I used to~
I've been wanting to make and fur a fursuit head base. But it requires so much cash, and I have none I can spend. I was hoping to maybe make some money off of tips from doing requests, but advertising is hard and I haven't even finished the few I've received so far. And tipping is optional, so there's no guarantee I'll get anything unless I open "pay-what-you-want" commissions. I don't know anything about commissioning, though...But I really need a partial fursuit.
I also need to go to walmart to get pants, but I was given money for that.
I also need to decide whether or not I'm transferring to UT Austin. Austin is my home town, and has my heart. Everything about it is good to me, and when I looked into going to UT further I felt as if I had overlooked a paradise. But my current college is a wasteland, and I won't be improving it if I just leave... I know I didn't expect it to be so drab and cold before I got here. I'd hate for any freshman next year to feel the way I often do now. I should probably stay to try and make it better....and if I stay it would also be easier to own a partial because I wouldn't have to transport it anywhere uwu

Free Art! Requests Open!
Posted 9 years ago1-17-17 7:52
Opening requests because why not. ^^ I rarely ever draw anyone else's character and I kinda wanna. I never shade, though
Can't Do
-NSFW, including fetish stuff (please don't request)
Not Great At
-Feral
-Humans/Humanoids
-Unnatural User-made Species
-Clothing and Objects
-Expressions (Variations of happy, angry and sad are pretty easy though)
-Poses
-Backgrounds
Never Drawn
-Equines
-Dragons
-Angel Dragons
-Etc.
I haven't drawn a wide variety of species unfortunately, but I draw ones I haven't by looking at pictures of the real thing ^^ So I can still try to draw species I haven't done before.
Please tell me if you want the drawing to be at a certain size so you can use it as an icon/profile picture at some point if you want to.
If you want you can tip me at paypal.me/Mirukunu and for more examples of my art check out my previous account
Susurrant_Surprise
Also, I have no idea when I can finish these X3 I'll try to do it soon but I get distracted by schoolwork and Youtube. So if you don't care when you get it and you don't have a deadline or anything, feel free to request something~
