So by the end of the month i'll be moving back to Texas, working at a smaller company that pretty much does the same thing i'm doing now. Except now the clients will be more state colleges and local companies. This move is definitely going to drain some funds I had saved for working on my own personal t-shirts and merchandise I was planning on taking to MFF, and at this time I'm still skeptical as to wether or not i'll be able to afford to go. But as of right now i'm not canceling anything.

Firstly ... I has my first Screen press!!!
I take classes for silkscreening in Mid May but the instructional dvd that came with the kit was really informative. Who knew there was so many chemicals involved. ^ ^ ;; well I did sorta knew it was more complicated then any one cares to admit, but it's a learning curve like everything else. Once you do it a couple of times, the pace of things really start to pick up.

But this also means I need to revamp the way I live. Because I currently have a nice set up to draw and paint. ... but not to screen print. So I have to get rid of a lot of stuff. I"ll post a list later of stuff I'm selling off, Reff books, anime books, art supplies. Stuff I haven't touched in well over two years mostly. But would feel bad in just tossing out in the trash.

I recently was down in Texas visiting a good friend Sparky cat. We worked on some paintings to sell in a garage sell that Sparky was holding in her new house for the Lone Star Sanctuary. This no kill Sanctuary is one worth keeping around. After visiting the facility there I saw nothing but tender love and care for all the animals. And I did not survive the pupp-e-ocolyps. So at this garage sell where we did sell all of our paintings at http://www.furaffinity.net/view/9005475/ , I found a few gems. Four pristine looking nintendo games that came in the equally clean looking boxes and manuals. Tetris, Super mario bro's 2, Super Mario bro's 3, and Duck tales. I snatched these four titles for a better auction deal on ebay. If I get more than 25$ in total for these titles I will donate part of the proceeds back to the Sanctuary.

Well the rabbit year has come and gone and so has the sale for the 154 of them that I made during the year. I was able to raise $90 for which I'll be donating to WWF. If you're still interested in purchasing a rabbit piece the price has gone up to $35 each. And I will still be donating all the proceeds to WWF. But I'll also be working to sell these rabbits by my own means and trying to raise up some more money to give to a good cause.

I don't plan on generating any dragon pieces this year. I have a few projects I've been meaning to work on and I'll most likely be working on those for the time being.

What's that? No i'm not wearing this shirt to mock our company in passing up a lucrative gold mine, or to promote our major competitor. I bought this shirt because it's a pissed off red bird on a bright red shirt that best symbolizes my feelings towards the stupid company I work for. What, why don't I wear something from our company? Well for starters the shirts I design usually are three sizes to small to wear, and I like to wear mediums or smaller in adult sizes. Then there's the fact that no one in this company tells me when and where my shirts are being sold to. I can guess Wal-mart since we do a lot of business with them, but other than that, I have to do my own research and shop for my own shirts. I don't even get a discount as an insentive to buy our companies shirts. So no I will not stop wearing this shirt and infact I'll start buying more of our competitors shirts inspite of my own compay. Not like it'll be hard to find thier shirts.

My worst idea of the year.

So my internet at home isn't working again, Big surprise, I figured another outage in the area since I was getting a data connection but not an internet one. So I wait patiently over the weekend (internet went out on friday)and come monday figure they should have things fixed. Well no and apparently there wasn't an outage so it's a connection problem. Soooo next question is what Os am I using. Ubuntu. ... >.> Verizon then tells me that they would have to pass me over to their premium tech service because the people at her office wasn't trained for anything beyond Mac and Windows. She also said there would be a charge to which I argued myself out of and they transferred me over. Turns out they couldn't help me either. <.< They suggested I call up the manufacture of the laptop and ask them for assistance on my internet troubles. This sounded like a wild goose hunt but played along after they assured me that I wouldn't need to call back Verizon for any information on their end. So they transfer me over to HP where I get someone with a thick Indian accent who has trouble hearing or saying the number 2. And after three tries of trying to relay my phone number to him I get disconnected. ... I call back and I'm pretty sure it was the same guy and magically he can understand me perfectly so maybe it was a connection problem. Anyways after I tell him my problem and what I've done so far he tells me the same thing. Sorry we can't help you unless you reinstall the software that came with the laptop. >.> I checked their website before and couldn't find this software. But they were willing to mail me some CD's! For a netbook that doesn't have a cd drive. ... no i don't have an external one. ... no I don't want to buy one. Oh they have a usb drive that has all the soft ware, they can mail me that, for a price. How much? $40 ... not baaaad ... but why am I paying for something that's not the OS or the laptops problem? Thanks but no thanks!

Thankfully a friend of mine is willing to put up with me and is going to lend me his laptop for a little bit so they can fix my internet. >.<

The Good news:
RED is alive!!! 8D Red being my hp mini that had a heart attack sometime ago. He went through some triple bypass surgery and is now ticking like new. Ashto was able to save the files and restore the Hard drive to a functioning state. Which means nothing really got burned out. .. just an odd hiccup. Unfortunately or fortunately ... however you want to look at it. No start up disks came with the HP and the site didn't have any hand outs ... so my hp is running off lynx now! Ubuntu to be precise. ... Yay!! 8D .... how the fuck do i use it!? XD Im currently looking up how to install my scanner which is the only major important thing i need to install. I gave up last night in trying because of ....

The Bad news:
Around this time of year a magical thing happens. Spring!!! But two magical things can't exist at one time. Thats right i'm magical so deal! So bitter and full of rage I try to chop down all the trees and soil the ground with salt. ... This doesn't bode well with the general public and I don't get very far. So i end up suffering and nearly dying every year because I refuse to buy expensive medicine and the over counter drugs just make drowsy and loopy. So it ends up counter productive at work. hmmmm do I choose itchy eyes, throat, ears, uncontrollable sneezing, sinus pressure that makes me contemplate suicide, or going through the day feeling sick, drowsy, unmotivated, irate and numb. -....- gawd I hate spring.

Friday: woke up at 3:30 am to catch plane flight at 6am. My carry on bag was scanned twice and then opened up because pokemon cards in an aluminum can looks like a bomb. Arrive at hotel after a steep taxi drive (9am). Friends arrived and plenty of hugs went around. Sunny D and rum! Artist Alley was a lottery system and woot I got in (2am). Painted a bunny and got rid of all the pomkemon cards I brought. Mission accomplished!! Danced a little in the evening and tried to get some sleep around midnight. ... don't think ended up sleeping around 3am ...

Saturday: Woke up at 6:30am .. I don't know why!!! >.< went down stairs and ate some breakfast then passed out in the lobby. Some one in a suit woke me up saying i couldn't sleep in the lobby. Sorry I didn't mean too! DX wandered into the game board room to kill some time before friends wake up. Got caught in a boring game of scrabble and just wanted to shoot myself. (noon) painted my bunny, I refused to start drinking till dinner rolled around and went to some art panels. (8pm?) After a dip in the pool it was onto some dancing and more dancing ... and died. ... (1-2am?) Tigsey was still finishing up some commissions so I went over and kept her company till she finished and dropped her off to her room. Then I got swept away to the headless lounge ... and thinking back to it .. i'm not sure how i got there ... but uh yeah Drunken uno till 5am for the win!!! XD made new friends and found a new cuddle buddy. ^ ^ ... I think I passed out around 6am >.>

Sunday: Woke up at 9am (do you see the pattern! DX) took another shower and woke up my friends around 10:30am just enough time to check out at 11. ^ ^ Some friends left earlier than others and con crud ensued 8c Oh yeah did I mention I was at FCN? well anyways said hi and bye to some peeps. Painted my bunny and hanged out in the Artist alley. Then wandered around in the local woods to absorb some nature. ... then it was about time to hit the road. (4pm) to catch my plane back home ... which didn't leave till 9pm but hey free ride to the airport with friends. I'm not complaining. Then my bag in the check in gets stopped again ... And i'm wondering what now? The pokemon and aluminum tin was gone so what could it be? The security guy walks over and asks me if I have anything sharp in the bag ... >.> no? .. Then he shows me one of my box cutters that I use to sharpen my pencils. O.O!!! Best magic trick ever!!! except now i'm down one of my favorite box cutters and I still haven't clue how I missed it when checking my bag and how Newark airport missed it when I flew over there. ... oh well I had an interesting talk with someone at the bar of chili's in the airport. got home around 12:30 and finally got more than 3 hrs of sleep. ^ ^

2 months!!! and my bigest hurdle is a failed hard drive. >.< I've decided to not fix it and wait for a laptop that my friend is sending me. It's a used laptop that pretty much on it's way out the door as well, but if I can install my scanner then I'm good to go. But just so you all aren't worried. I haven't fallen off the wagon yet. Still pumping out rabbits like .... >.> well like a rabbit in spring. So in the mean time I'll see if I can't upload some things I've done here at work over the years. ... So I wake up this morning and open up my laptop to scan in last night's bunny and I notice it's acting extreamly slow with commands. ... it almost takes a full minute for the password to get entered and then ... nothing ... So i try a restart ... nothing ... restart again .. and I get a message saying it failed a restart (DUH!!) and to choose to restart normally or restart running some diagnostic. ... well I try my luck with a normal restart .... nothing .... >.< Restart and try running the diagnostic ... nothing. So! if it dosen't work when i get home then i'll probably have to take it in .. cuz i know shit about computers and fail with laptops. =___=;;

Thats what i've been asking my boss for over 3 years and in those three years iv'e only gotten single response to when i asked. Meaning for all the shirts we've sold, i've only seen about 10-25% of them out in the stores or some of the samples that get shipped to us. Now I never get to keep any of the samples, and they never give us any free shirts either. So Lucky me has to go out and buy my own shirts that I've sold, if i want to gift them to a couple nieces and nephews. But then lies the ultimate question, WHERE'S MY SHIRTS!?

Say you had a child that was born early with Cerebral anoxia (lack of oxygen to the brain,) Unable to breath on it's on, the hospital put the baby on a ventilator. 2 days later the doctors give you a choice. they could either remove the child off the life support, in which case the baby would die in a matter of hours. Or they can keep the baby on the life support where it still has the possibility of dying in a matter of days, but if it survived it would remain in a permeant vegetative state. Never able to walk talk or interact with others. The question is, would you rather have had the doctors make that choice with or with out your consent?
