First impressions of Digimon Xross Wars
Posted 15 years agoSo basically this is a first. I think this is the first group of chosen/digidestined/Tamers that I've actually liked, as in I liked all these characters. The digimon of this season and the evolution gimmick... follows suit of what I felt about since Frontier. It's fucking stupid and I'd wish they just keep evolutionary lines.
Honestly I don't hate the digimon. I hate the fucking the fucking evolutions. Basically instead of mixing digimon with Power Rangers, we have digimon and gundam. I mean seriously as far as this idea goes, I'd like to point out that digimon are more interesting when they're animals. Robot digimon had a tendency of being full of suck.
But as the anime goes, it's solid. Like I said I like the group of humans or rather, I really like Taiki. Despite his name sounding a little too much like Taichi, I honestly like this character. Which is weird because w/exception of Takato, I have never initially liked any of the main characters in Digimon. Hopefully he won't suck later on the line because I think this series has for better or for worse a lot of potential.
As for the episode. They've gone back to the standard of an introduction sequence showcasing the new children, Taiki, Akari (Taichi and Hikari, haha I see what you did there) and Zenjiro though it's pretty long and then they called into the digital world from the titular digimon of the series (for help due to death this time), sucked into a portal and end up in the digital world.
Shoutmon, Ballistamon, Starmon, and Pickmons is introduced and we find out that he's been saved due to his melody (???) loaded in the the Xross Loader, The first baddie and his army shows up and they fight.
Only this time they finally outright put a Leomon (albiet he's evil) as the first baddie. This is jading because Leomon have a habit of, you know, having short life expectancy. Shoutmon and company being to whoop the ass of Mammons and Shoutmon makes a remark about how he'll be Digimon King... okay then. So they fight and then it's at this point when we see just how weird this situation is. Basically MadLeomon is an adult level digimon, he kills/loads the data of his comrade Mammon... who are Perfect level... what?! He evolves into Perfect level and then whoops the ass of the team. Then Shoutmon and Ballistamon DigiXross into... a gundam and whoops MadLeomon's ass. Then Madleomon gets the upper hand and then their friend Starmon and Pickmons DigiXross into... a giant sword which Shoutmon uses to cleave MadLeomon in half... uh huh. MadLeomon loses but is forced to retreat due to his commanders.
So far they've managed to make evolutionary levels arbitrary, bring a new style of evolution that doesn't really make sense beyond gundam/zord logic and systematically proven that Shoutmon (whom we're supposed to believe is child level) is kick ass. Not to shabby though it leads me to say WHAT?! There's not that much logic going on here so I'm not gonna bitch about it. If anything I'd like to say that they caught my attention which is good.
So they move on to the evil general/commanders as they talk about evil villainy things showcasing only sillouett... holy shit Lilithmon shadow.
Then we see the not named 2 rival characters show up and remark about Taiki and friends and then the episode is over.
Uh huh...

I saw Kickass (a review... sorta)
Posted 15 years agoThe only way I can really describe this move is that it's a really REALLY GOOD bad movie. No I'm not saying that it's so good that it's bad. I'm saying that it's different. After years of adjust to the tried and true form of cinema something that pushes the boundaries on the rule is hard for me to swallow. It's a wrong that I myself need to fix so with that basically here's the story.
BUT BEFORE I FORGET POSSIBLE SPOILERS!
Kickass is about a young average teenager, Dave Lizewski who often wondered why nobody in the real world has ever tried to be a superhero. With that in mind he decided to one day take up the mantel and try his hand in superheroics... in a not so stylish fashion. He gets himself stabbed and horrible beaten the crap out of during his first venture before finally setting on something that works. After an incident where he gets caught up in a small gang fight where he defends one guy against 2 others. His fight gets recorded and ends up on the internet where shortly after becomes an internet phenomenon catching mass media hype and attention. With his newfound popularity he catches the attention of a large mafia drug ring during a confrontation where he gets his ass saved by Big Daddy, an ex-cop who was framed by the drug ring and his young 11 year old daughter Hit-Girl.
Here's the reasons why it's a really good movie:
The action sequences are by far the most creative both in concept and in technician. It's violence ranges from Dark Knightesque gritty realism to over the top Kill Bill bloodspilling surrealism. And when I mean is good, it's fucking good. The special effects make this movie feel immersive and almost realistic
The cinematography is at its best with some really good sequences, one in particular, a gun fight in pitch-black darkness.
Some of the most awkward heartwarming messed up relationships which felt really genuine. As well as a rather interesting side of vigilantism.
The characters are all top notch. Nicholas Cage's weird acting style is perfect for the psychologically balanced/unbalanced Big Daddy. Hit-Girl the show stealing side-main, who stole the entire movie since the trailers is everything that you expect her to be and more. The titular character Kick-Ass is interesting in that he plays the everyman really REALLY well. There is absolutely nothing special about Kick-Ass as a character, other than the fact that he is willing to put himself on the line.
Here's the reasons why it's a bad movie:
IF one word can describe this movie, its clusterfuck. The entire story is followed and narrated by Kick-Ass, but the problem lies in about halfway into the movie where he himself is no longer the main character, even though the movie follows in his perspective. He is basically a spectator of his own movie.
The continuity of the movie in terms of the type of violence gets pulled around in all sides where it feels like a different movie. In the start of the movie it's filmed like a spiderman movie, but is immediately brought down to earth by simulating what high school actually feels like. When kick ass gets his ass handed to him by some punks it looks like he's actually getting hurt for real.
Cut to about 1/2 hour later. We see hit girl slaughtering gangmembers like a quinton terinto film.
A lot of the scenes are forgettible and the moments after hitgirl feel rather dragged on and completely uninteresting. As well as the fact that a lot of the action sequences were predictable with the exception of the combat acrobatics of hit girl. And if it feels like im refering to her a lot, it's because she really is the best character in this movie
In any case I really did like this movie.

Completed Aqua Storyline...(text review and pos, spoilers)
Posted 15 years agoHonestly I'd like to say that this story is somewhere down the middle.
Brief Recap of what I thought of the series as a whole.
358/2 days was both a colossal waste of a shitty storyline that we got nothing out of. We got small tidbits of pretty much nothing and contributed very little to the series as a whole other than to confuse an already convoluted mess
Kingdom Hearts 2 had a fairly decent storyline, but in retrospect I have to say some of the overall logic was lacking. Many questions were answered but a lot was retconned or completely changed preconceived notions of the mythos surrounding it.
Chain of Memories had an above average storyline, but was brought down after the introduction of the wangsty stick which thoroughly beat whatever I liked about the original series. Particularly the overu sage of the asspull.
Kingdom Hearts as a standalone series was probably one of the best storytelling and mixed in 2 completely volatile elements together to the point where I thought that development team must have outsourced their resources to actual writers.
Moving on...
Overall this storyline went back to it's roots buried it so deep that I hope that nobody ever digs them up again otherwise the overarching shrub that is this story will rot and die.
Everything that I thought I would hate about this game turned out to be completely wrong. Every character is likable.
Aqua whom I thought would end up being the useless girl ended up being a truly magnificent bastard
Terra whom I thought would end up being a prequel Anakin Skywalker ended up being what Anakin Skywalker should have been
Ventus whom I thought would end up being a Sora clone... was exactly that, but for some reason he came off more mature as the story went on.
Venitas whom I thought would be a horrible negative ball of angst ended up being a complete psychopath on the joker level
Xehanort whom I thought would end up being like Emperor Palpatine actually ended being more of a sound man with just a really effed-up sense of morality
Further more, none of the disney characters ended up being annoying. Every stage ended up being a delight each being as equally enjoyable. The mains are without a doubt the best that it could be. The battle systems is perfect and I mean perfect. I don't think that they could make it any more perfect than now. There's a nice balance and fluidity of the overall system.
They finally skipped the middle man and did away with the mp bar. Now magic works off of the sleight system. Mode changes are based off of whatever sleights you combine and synthesizing can be done whenever you want. Proud mode gives a decent enough challenge if your bellow level and fighting a monster that spams. Finally magic... actually does something like it did in KH1. Your specials and magic are your sleights but they can actually combo if you set it right.
There are actually abilities that do good damage and a flashy enough to be enjoyable without being repetative. Honestly the combat system in this game is incredible and I think that square should take their hands off it and don't work it any further
Now we get to the problems
First off this game has horrible loading issues. Data saves only do so much. Everytime you perferm a mode change, there's a loading time. Everytime you try to enter the save screen, there's a loading time. Everytime you finish a cutscene, get out of a world, or die, there's a loading time.
Jesus fuck this game should have been on the PS3.
2ndly I have to say that the twists in this game are either really predictable or really stupid. If you guys haven't figured out who Vanitas is after the first time he talks, you might be retarded. The way that they try to fill in the missing plotholes at often times seem pretty contrived. Basically when it boils down to it a lot of the questions that were left unanswered by the end of Kingdom Hearts 2 can be solved with one of 2 answers:
A Wizard did it.
OR
He did a thing and that's what made it happened.
No I'm being really serious about it. Trust me when you find out the answer you'll understand what I mean.
Finally the climax of this game is shallow in comparison to what I'm used to out of a KH game. I expected the end game boss to be over the top and world shattering especially since this this the precursor to everything, but when you reach it, (with the exception of Ven's Storyline) it comes off as flat.
Overall I have to say that this is my favorite KH game next to the original. Even tho it's a bit buggy it's still really solid.
It was worth the import money that dropped for it, so... WOOT! 'w'
Oh god I'm an idiot...

Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep.
Posted 16 years agoMeh... so basically I have a particular hatred for the Kingdom Hearts franchise. Basically I felt that it was one of those series that should never have been touched after the first one... even though they did leave it as a cliffhanger.
Square basically did one of there many impossible things on the course of writing Kingdom hearts: They brought back the lightness that Final Fantasy was known for something that was trampled on by the likes of Final Fanatasys' 7 and 8 and failed in Final Fantasy 10. It was one of those games that started at a very high note but honestly drowned in the current themes of Final Fantasy. The type of themes that... make me wanna kill myself. But I digress.
Kingdom Hearts 2 did something for me wherein I drowned in the hype but it ultimately fail. Mostly due to my incessant hatred of Kasushige Nojima's writing style the style of writing that just rots the brain. Listen if you write something horrible expect to hear from some naysayers. Honestly I've never met a person who could give me an answer to any one of the numerous plotholes written by Nojima himself other than "It should be abstract." Something I like to call "a statement that ends in 'because of reasons.'" If you ever find yourself writing "a statement that ends in for reasons," you have done something horrible wrong. I'll give an example. Ultimecia wanted to compress time, not because she wanted to rule the world (she already had that) not to destroy the world (she already did that) not to get revenge on those who tried to kill her (she already did that) not because she was stupid (she knew how to compress time and use a complex machine to drive the psyche into the timespace continuum without corrosive after effects) not because she wanted to become immortal (after learning how to create things from your mind I think immortality should be cake) not because she wanted to prevent someone for killing her (again everyone is dead) but because of reasons.
See how brilliant is Mr. Kazu.
In any case (wow I could not find myself flaming FF8 in a journal about a Square product) KH2 is a particular hatred for having a convoluted nonsense storyline that can only be resolved through a series of spinoffs. For one thing this shouldn't be this complex of a story. What irritated me about this game was it's incessant need for time filler. Why the fuck am I dicking around with Jack Sparrow if it has nothing to do with the underlying plot. Why the fuck am I in a gay musical in the little mermaid world when this data could have be used for something much more important, like say EXPLAING ALL THE INCONSISTANCIES WHEN THIS GAME TRANSITIONED FROM THE LAST 2! But once again I digress.
I played 358/2 days and to be honest I learned nothing new from it which was once a game that was completely time filler. To be honest there is nothing interesting about Roxas at this point. As a man against universe character he is so bland, so boring, and the only one who seems to be in character. Pinnochio world should have been made specifically to make this character more interesting, because that's what he is in the story. And yet they do nothing, NOTHING but illustrate that fact and not resolve it in the least. Oh sure he gets emotions, but let me remind you that his personality is exactly like a bland Sora. He's like diet Sora, not as irritating, pretentious, heartwarming, or endering like Sora, but somehow a pale imitation. The only thing that makes him interesting is the sheer number of slash fictions that you can write him with.
I mean seriously! Look at Axel! He's fucking ineteresting. Even Xion, the lesbian Sora, was fucking interesting. WHY PLAYING A GAME THAT'S SO BLAND! WHY DO I NEED TO KNOW ANY OF THIS?! HE DIED AT THE END OF KH2! ARGH!
*calms down* With all that I lead you to KH: BBS, but here's the twist. I am actually looking forward to this game. For the first time in a long time I am actually forward to a Kingdom Hearts game. Even though I feel like this franchise has almost gotten milked to the point of MGS. But to be honest I like the premise. I like what's been told about this. And hopefully I can ignore everything that has been said about KH and enjoy the story as a story.

You are a Chibi Seme!
You are the seme in disguise. Able to fit in and get along with uke and seme alike, you are able to get close to the uke on their level before exerting your dominance. This makes you at times manipulative and able to fool others about your true seme nature. Because of your harmless appearance, it takes the flamboyantly gay Flaming Uke to match wits and really bring out your aggressive side to expose you for the seme that you are.
Preying on the clueless is what you're all about. You really don't intend to hurt anyone, but if a bit of harmless manipulation can get you what you want, you're not beyond taking a little advantage of someone, which you figure is an even exchange for your companionship anyway. Not one for lots of drama, you are best paired with the Clueless Uke, who will appreciate your attention and never bat an eye at your slightly sneaky ways.

Because of your harmless appearance, it takes the flamboyantly gay Flaming Uke to match wits and really bring out your aggressive side to expose you for the seme that you are.
Most compatible with: Flaming Uke, Badass Uke
Least compatible with: Dramatic Uke
What seme or uke are you? Take the experience at SemeUke.com, or find merchandise here.
Im more of a Uke then a seme. I prefer to be on the bottom. :\
I tag...
and
(again)You are an Opportunist Seme!
Most compatible with: Clueless Uke, Innocent Uke
Least compatible with: Badass Uke
Took the test again. Damn it! Shit I guess I am a top! T^T
Dissidia rundown
Posted 16 years agoOkay so it's been murky on my stance on this game. I LIKE THIS GAME Jesus, if I didn't like this game, I wouldn't complain as much. The only faults of this game, comes out of this story, which is treated as such by the grimey hands of Kazushige Nojima, a man who is famous for FF8. A man who wrote A group of misfit teenagers battle a sorceress who collapses time and space and beat her and survive the cataclysmic implosion though the power of love and friendship.
The biggest and most irritating flaw that I find is the fact of how he treats these characters. He uses basically stereotypical "lines" that the character would say. I.E. Cloud be distant, Squall being emo, Terra being timid, Tidus being a wuss yada yada yada. It's as if he never read any of the scenarios in the first 12 Fantasies, it's as if he doesn't care. He doesn't factor in anything ANYTHING that the characters went though. Each character in this game changed and grew throughout the game (well not so much Squall, but shut up I'm trying to make a point)
So basically that's my rant.
So here's the technical.
Both the japanese and the english have it's faults and advantages. Both games have characters that are extremely game breaking, but also have characters that are so horrible that you would never consider using them.
Here is all that I have to say,
Warrior of Light although very balanced, had terrible tracking. The one thing that he lacked was the ability to get any of his good attacks to hit. The english version remidied that. ALL of his sheild attacks now have better tracking and better yet they gave him a move with arbitrary timing, this gives him more playability and more consistancy.
Garland was just an AWFUL character in the japanese. He was slow, his attacks were easy to predict, this moves were easy to dodge. In the english he's gotten huge buffs. He can dodge combo moves, allowing the 16 hit combos, his HP moves are a lot sturdier. That's all that we can do.
Firion was a good character in the japanese. He was the defense to offense character, he's my favorite character and my main in this game. In the english he got much better. His Axe now hits farther, his knife is unblockable his Arrows are faster, and his Master of Arms tracks better. Everything that I wanted was given in the english, and I couldn't be happier.
Emperor Palmecia now has faster casting time, and Flares in the air. The guy was a trap character to begin with (haha double entendre) so the Air Flare was really the only thing necessary that would have made him much usable... that and the fact that his Starfall charges just a bit faster.
The Onion Knight plays almost exactly the same, only that his holy works a lot better due to it's tracking. He's still rather limited in terms of physical range, but he's still a pretty good character
Cloud of Darkness, same goes for it. Tenticle rape is still fun, firing lasers is still good. She's still the same from what I've seen
Cecil has his ups and downs. Having the 2 job system works as both a hinderance and as an advance for him. While having 2 different styles allow for 2 different types of gameplay, the differences between the 2 are as subtle as an elephant in the room. The english both nerfed and buffed him. He now as job change moves and between Paladin and Dark Knight Cecil, DK got the better end of the stick. His Dark Flame tracks as well as Cloud of Darkness' tracking laser. His canon now hits longer and harder, but the overall gravity increase hinders Paladin a lot. Moving gameplay to more ground base hurts him quite a bit, but he's still a solid character.
Golbez. Golbez plays the same only that he's slower, and now almost everything chains into a Darth Vader esque lightning bolt attack. And now while that's cool, the lack of speed and timing really hurts the character. The Japanese play is much better where his 2 step was a 2 step, not a 1 step, half step, 2 step. His rhythm is easier to keep up with which is good for players against him, and bad for players who use him.
Bartz. Bartz is interesting because his only extremely good trait got nerfed. Overall this character is "the most predictable character in the game." There is very little to expect from this character since he only has the big attacks from all the other heroes. It's easy to spot which attack he's about to use due to him screaming out the line from the attacks of the heroes, going so far to copy their voices. Now his EX mode Goblin punch was deadly. It WAS deadly, now it's managable, which is a good thing. The punch did 1.2k minimum with each hit, that ensured a brave break, and from there, you were FUCKED. Not to mention that the hit box on the thing was just staggering, it's really hard to judge the distance unless you've been abused by that attack.
ExDeath got a lot better. His shield to almagest/grand cross got faster. His warp now has very little charge and cool down time. His sheilds are raised faster and there is almost no cool down time for big ones like HiShield. His black hole cannot be dashed through, which is just great, because back then that attack was useless.
Terra. Oh my goodness this girl got nerfed badly. Her nerfs can be summed up as, nothing works anymore! Tornado has a smaller hit box, Meteor has longer charge time and is slow, Flood got slow. Her braves got very little boosts though. Holy to Flare and Aerial Blizzaga are pretty much the only usable attacks now. Everything else, dashable, guardable, dodgeable.
Kefka. Oh my goodness this man got buffed. Scatter Fira hits hard. Havoc Wing has longer range, Tryne picks up faster, Ultima has bigger hit box, Forsaken null is no longer dashable. And on top of everything else, his damage output has increased. This character is no longer the worst character in the game as it should be!
Cloud, got nerfed, not too badly. The infinite is taken out, which is a really good thing. His attacks have longer startup and the range and tracking have decreased. Really bad for Cloud, because his play revolves around timing. Though Braver is still as good as before.
Sephiroth, got buffed pretty well. The one big flaw of this character was his lack of accuracy, almost all of his attacks were easy to block because the startups were just enough so that they were easy to dodge. Now his game is all about mid range, because his attacks are now really fast. A good thing too, since there aren't enough good Sephiroths out there.
There's more but, essentially the last

Veritas (an overview... sorta)
Posted 16 years agoI was actually gonna do something like what I did with KHR, and say that it doesn't suck (and still doesn't) but I think i'd write about my relationships with Manhwas...
I personally do not like Manhwa, ironically enough being Korean. The reason for this is because they are almost always generic, in terms of art, writing, and overall composition. I think I've started maybe 10 or 12 series, (most of which I don't read mainly because I dropped them because they were overly bland) but 2 jewels have risen up in the ranks.
The first is Ubell Blatt, which ironically the most bland, mundane, manhwa I've ever read. In fact it's probably the most bland, mundane, comic that I've read, but I like it because it's over the top brooding seriousness and bullshit breaks the mundane meter and becomes something awesome.
Then we go into Veritas, which ironically is the exact opposite.
First off I'd like to say that, yes stereotypically Koreans and hard-headed elitist, (more so to the point since it seems that everything in this manga makes Koreans look like fucking supermen) but besides the point, the characters in this are above all interesting.... still the manhwa blandness is still there.
It's martial arts genre, and it does what I like to call, "the half-way mark of DB." A martial arts series that neither goes universe explosion energy beams, but doesn't go into sheer slapstick humor.
The characters are well rounded, and the artwork is phenomenal. And to be honest...I wouldn't mind getting topped by the main character >w>...

Overall there's some spastic over-the-top martial arts, but the writing keeps it's integrity. Also... there are tigers...

Kara no Kyoukai 1-4 synopsis (light spilers)
Posted 16 years agoI'm surprised that I haven't done this for the few who read my journals. This is my favorite anime movie series of the genre of things that fuck your mind.
For those of you who cannot understand weeaboo. Kara no Kyoukai or the Boundries of Emptiness series is an early Nasu Kinoko work, and features just how utterly messed up this writer is. I'm serious you need to be on some type of drug to come up with unbelievable creative shit like this. Kinoko is famous for 2 other more notable titles: Tsukihime and Fate/Stay Night.
So we're talking about a guy who wrote the concept of the "Mystic Eyes of Death Perception," a magic eye trait that allows people to see the lines of death and the points of which the lines converge. And by striking these points you can effectively destroy a person's existence because these points of course, means you've destroyed their concept of existence. The world would try and destroy something that doesn't exist, thus an unavoidable death
The second concept that I find utterly fucked up is the Scottish hero Cu Chullain, who in Fate/Stay carried a spear that REVERSES CAUSALITY. For the people who don't know what that means, he can perform the result of an action before an action. That action being impaling a person's heart, before the lance is struck.
The main character unfortunately carries the latter, but it's more fucked up than what I described.
So here we go, the review.
This is where the first 4 movies culminated, and to sum up the first 4 movies.
Movie 1 "Overlooking View": Ryougi Shiki learns their [the P.I. agency she works for] new job is to hunt down ghost who has caused a bunch of teenage girls to commit suicide via jumping off high-rises. Her love interest, Kokuto Mikiya gathers information, but gets is soul stolen in the process. She laments for a bit and goes off to kill the ghost, only that was a lie and the ghost was actually a split spirit astral projection of a blind girl with a terminal illness who had no family and whose only comforting thought was the overlooking view of the top of her family's building and she herself commits suicide at the end the same way that she caused all the other girls 2.
Movie 2 "Murder Speculation part 1": The beginning of Shiki's story and starts off with her meeting Kokuto for the first time near the road to her house on a snowy afternoon. Cut to beginning of school, Shiki doesn't recall meeting Kokuto, but hang out anyway. They begin to have feeling for each other, but Shiki has a problem. She has a split personality that is male who is named SHIKI. The male personality hangs out with Kokuto and explains the situation, but slowly hints that he likes to kill people, i.e. himself.
Kokuto finds out through his uncle Daisuke, a detective, that a series of murders happening throughout town and that the culprit is most likely a person who goes to his school. Fearing of what he knows of SHIKI, he runs to her house only to find him over a corpse and says the ominous line "be careful Kokuto, a terrible premonition will lead to a terrible outcome."
The stupid git doesn't believe that he didn't actually kill the dude, and hides it from the investigation team who arrives shortly after. He then watches over Shiki everyday to make sure that he doesn't go out, to give him peace of mind knowing that Shiki isn't a killer. SHIKI eventually confronts Kokuto at school and hints that she knows that he's been watching over him.
The following night, SHIKI confronts Kokuto as he's checking on her, by violently coming after him with a knife and holds him and gunpoint in the open road. Kokuto says he doesn't want to die, SHIKI replies that he wants to kill him and then gets run over by a truck.
Movie 4 "Hollow Shrine": Shiki has been in a coma after getting hit by a truck for the last 3 years and finally wakes up. She has come to notice 2 things. First of which she has developed eyes that can see the lines of death. When she touches the lines things fall to pieces and dies. Unable to hand what she sees, she tries to gouge her eyes out. The second is that the male Shiki personality is gone and most likely the one to have died in the traffic accident thus leading her with a void within her soul. Kokuto asks his boss, a magus by the name of Aozaki Touko, whose P.I. bureau, the Hollow Shrine investigates supernatural disturbances, to visit Shiki and to help her calm down. She visits Shiki everyday and talks to her to slowly fill the void that is left behind by the male Shiki, and to protect her from the collection of wraiths haunting the hospital who are also possess her due to the void in her soul, by creating a barrier around her room.
Eventually she reveals that she knows about Shiki's eyes during the night that she tries to gouge them out again. Shiki laments the loss of her other half, and Touko responds to Shiki if SHIKI's death was a waste.
Eventually the wraiths possess a deceased man and break down the door to get to Shiki. Shiki jumps out the window, all while blindfolded. Touko reveals herself, Shiki gets pissed that she should do something about the zombie. Touko casts an Anzus on the Zombie and tries to burn it... to death. Shiki complains that she's a fake and Touko says that they should run for it.
Shiki says that she would take care of the zombie and strikes the zombie's death line with her finger, paralysing it momentarily, though her finger gets snapped backwards in the process. Touko passes a knife to Shiki and Shiki cuts the zombie to pieces with one strike.
The wraiths get expelled, but try to possess Shiki. Shiki holds the knife close to her chest and exposits that she will kill both the wraiths and her weak self... which she does. She passes out and Touko responds that she's a lucky bastard; a void can be filled in endlessly. Sorta like a hollow shrine

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince (a review... sorta)
Posted 16 years agoSo as way to justify everything about I will say about this movie, I will say this: It was better than Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen. A review of that goes as follows: An explosive clusterfuck encrusted with FAIL.
So here goes:
It wasn't a good movie, but it wasn't a bad one either. People are raving that this "the best Harry Potter movie evar!" This lacked, again, what made a Harry Potter movie great, more so now that we are getting into the concentration of emotional piss. It's pacing. This was again not well paced. The First Act was smooth, it was okay. The Second Act was the longest, most excruciating, most exacerbating second act out of a Harry Potter movie I've seen so far.
I facepalmed about... 14 times in Act 2. They were so focused on the forced romance that it became irritating. And to be honest very boring and very unfunny. "Oh ron stops every ball with his head hawheehawheehaw." Ugh...
Not to mention that Book 6 was actually the most interesting Book out of the series. There was serious character development, it was face paced, and it wasn't boring! What was weird was the fact at how inconsistent the movie was. Dumbledore's death scene was basically 5 minutes long of him falling off the edge, Harry having his "NOOOOOOOOOOOO~!" moment and Narcissa doing her evil laugh. While the scene leading up to it was:
Dumbledore: Snape please...
Snape: okay *avada kadavra*
*Dumbledore gets shot off the balcony*
At that points very jading. There was almost no transition between that scene and this scene. That's not a twist... that's random.
Overall a lot of the scenes were nice, again Act 2. longest... Act... ever... I recommend it... sorta. Again it was better than Transformers.

Rain, short and light build. Black Hair, something unnatural for a white tiger I guess :\
Dexterous and works at his own pace. Split personality, one passive one aggressive.
Both are neutral. Freelancer by trade and willing to do anything for money, so long as he perform the action which is asked.
Passive personality is assertive and wears glasses. Always seems to be scheming something, but in reality has nothing on his mind. Eyes are completely clear and lucid in this state. Very cynical, but very nice at this state, because he lies a lot.
Aggressive personality is weak and doesn't wears glasses. Has the disposition of an idiot and always seems to be angry, but in reality cares a lot about the people around him. Eyes are completely solid and serious in this state. Very optimistic at this state, but seems very mean, because he's really honest.
Both are narcoleptic, but love coffee. Addiction of course :3
Power: I did a huge explanation before so I'll just shorten it. A reality marble that projects a completely colorless clear world where can have absolute complete control over his surroundings, and speechcraft that bends nature to create solid illusions
