And Now For Something Completely Different

General | Posted 19 years agoMy friends and I got together last night after I finished with a shift of my new job and hung out for a little while, completely impromptu. It was hot yesterday, and my mom wasn't feeling good so we were in the front yard of my house... we had intended to part ways immediately but didn't really get that far... for several hours :P
Once the sun started going down, I noticed the cats across the street were coming out to play. There's a family of about five or so there, two kittens and three adults. We finished babbling about whatever it was we were talking about and wandered over, slowly to avoid scaring them away. Eventually one of the kittens tottered over to me and I got first dibs on petting them :)
The parents were hanging out nearby, undoubtedly watching us as the kittens swatted at rocks and occasionally visited us... was adorable to watch.
Eventually we saw it was gettin' late, so I shooed my friends off home and went back inside - but it was interesting to see that both the parents and kittens were more amiable toward us from that point on. It was a fun evening :)

Frustrations of Straight Furries

Okay, my turn to talk, your turn to listen.
I'm straight.
That does not mean I'm secretly bi, that does not mean I'm lying, that means one thing: I am STRAIGHT.
Get over it.
I'm sick and tired ot people trying to convince me I'm bi or gay or WHATEVER. Folks, I know me better than you do.
I'm sure I'm going to get some flames for this "you homophobe!" Yeah well, shut you muzzle for ten seconds and listen.
There is a difference between being homophobic and being sick and tired of looking around and seeing NO ONE available to have a relationship with. I like females. You know what a female is?
I have friends who are gay, and I accept that. They are who they are. And I am who I am.
Sometimes I get grouchy because I'm tired of all the gaybois kissing and screwing each other's tailholes all around me. Wouldn't YOU be a little annoyed by something going on all around you that you found distasteful?
I can't voice these frustrations, because like I said, the instant I open my mouth I'm labeled as homophobic and intolerant.
So I have to keep my mouth shut and endure it.
Fun stuff, huh? I'm in a rut I can't get out of just because I'm in the minority. People I do not owe you anything just because of your gay pride. Leave me the hell alone with your sexual preferences, because I don't force mine on you.
And for the last fucking time, I'm not going to change for you.
