So theres this chick at work. Because of people quitting their job for various reasons, she was promoted to fill the lack of consultants.
I worked with her today, and it was fine until we actually started getting customers. She is PAINFULLY SLOW at putting people in. some even ended up waiting 3 minutes for her to clumsily type things in. (You may think that's not a long time. but stand at a desk with 2 people behind you waiting to be tanned and its a long time)
There was this one dude that was trying to simply do a level one session. After entering something onto his account and voiding it THREE times (because it wasnt letting her tan), she completely screwed up the guys account. All the while I was TRYING to tell her what to do (I knew exactly what she was doing wrong) but she wouldnt listen (I guess it was pretty sad to her that i was technically below her and knew what to do).
Then after she FINALLY gets this guy back, she turns to me and tells me to stop talking to her, and to quit making suggestions, and says "It's my job, not yours".
What a fucking cunt.
I already didn't like her because she took one of my shifts and then DIDNT SHOW UP FOR IT. (she said it was because of "car trouble". Well, at least TELL ME so I can get it covered again. I needed that shift off for a REASON. I didnt need it off so i could go eat Arby's with my best buddy or anything stupid)
And then she's going to act like this. Hah.

I didn't even help her out with closing duties because of that. What a bitch. I hope she had fun sweeping and mopping the ENTIRE STORE by herself.

I really hope I dont work with her again. I dont think she actually worked at this store, that she was taking someone's shift, but god help me if she actually does,

Im scheduled almost every day this week. Which initially I was like "cool, more money for my trip"
But then this girl at work needs 2 shifts covered, both 5-9 on Monday and Thursday. Thursday I took, and Monday i told her i'd take if no one else could. Guess what? No one else could.
So i worked today, and im working monday, wednesday, thursday, and saturday. Where did my fall break go? DX
Im going to see if I can get one of my other days covered, So I can have some time for myself and my bofriend D:

So I recently finished my summer classes for college (woot! no more worrying about finals) and in one of my classes (Communication) we learned about 6 different love types. I actually ended up having to do a skit in front of the class with a few others about them and that got me interested..

Anyways, the six types are as follows:

1. Eros Love. Eros lovers tend to emphasize romantic relationships, physical beauty, desire, and physical attraction. Relationships based on eros love tend to fizzle quickly, because these types of lovers can’t maintain this high level of passion. An eros lover’s approach to a healthy romantic relationship involves an intense focus on the emotional aspects of love, including finding different ways to express love.

2. Pragma Love. Pragma lovers are rational and practical – and so is their approach to romance and healthy relationships. This type of lover decides to love someone who best fits their requirements and meets their needs. Pragma lovers assess potential partners for appropriate education levels, professions, income, social status, common interests, parent potential, and material possessions. A pragma lover’s approach to a healthy romantic relationship doesn’t focus on the emotional aspects of love.

3. Storge Love. Storge lovers focus on friendship to build a healthy relationship. This style of love usually begins with a strong friendship, which eventually develops into feelings of romantic love and intimacy. The sexual aspect of storge love tends to be less important than the friendship aspect (making the approach to romance a lower priority). A storge lover’s approach to a healthy romantic relationship focuses on caring, compassion, and heart-to-heart discussions.

4. Agape Love. Agape lovers are known for their selfless love or brotherly love. Agape love is also know as “divine love” because it’s self-sacrificing and altruistic love. An agape lover’s approach to a healthy relationship focuses on giving without any expectations or strings attached. Agape love is best suited for the love of God, saints and martyrs because healthy romantic relationships require a balance of giving and receiving (not just giving, as an agape lover would tend to do).

5. Ludus Love. Ludus lovers tend to be game players in romance. Ludus lovers are addicted to the excitement of forming a romantic relationship, and aren’t as enthralled by building a healthy long-term marriage. A ludus lover’s approach to a healthy romantic relationship involves the thrill of the chase and the thrill of new romance, not the work of building a long-term commitment.

6. Mania Love. Remember Glenn Close in Fatal Attraction? She was a manic lover: possessive, dependent, jealous, and controlling. These are signs of addictive relationships -- not healthy romantic love! A manic lover’s approach to a “healthy” romantic relationship focuses on turmoil, extreme reactions, and even obsession. Mania love can involve threats, stalking, or worse.




Personally for me I'd say I am influenced the most by pragmatic, storgic and manic love. (as much as I hate to admit that last one >.>... I'm really jealous and possessive :/ ) But I have a strong tendency to fall for my 'best friends' so to speak and I really look for practicality and long term or even marriage potential in partners. Plus, I'm pretty compassionate and caring towards my partners (when I'm getting what I want :x ) and value companionship above all else basically. I want a best friend.. sex and romance is just a happy consequence :)

Though.. Of course all the love types are relevant to all of us to an extent, but those I feel represent mine the best or most strongly.

I was thinking earlier about something interesting...

Is it really not out of possibility that a woman, after going through her childbirth/childrearing stage, to become a lesbian after she has no need for a male? (Same goes for guys, too.)
Cause if you think about it, I'm sure it has occurred, or exists. It doesn't seem far out of reach that once one has no need for the want of procreation, that they turn to companions of the same sex. which is, now that I think about it, similar to what men of Ancient Greece and Rome used to do (women for procreation, men for recreation.)

next week is gonna suck. First a meeting (so I have to wake up early), then band camp, so I have to wake up even EARLIER and i still have work (although luckily/unluckily only two times) (unlucky because that equals less monies)

Went to Hobby Lobby today. Went sorta-crazy. AKA bought everything except watercolor, pastel, and conte crayon. Yay no color?

So yesterday was like...
ugh.

It was alll awesome until I had to go to work. First I had to drop my boyfriend off at his house, which I have made plenty of time for. However, his dad called and told me that I had to drop him off at the hospital, because Tay didnt have the key to his house. this was ughhhh because I would make it to work ALMOST late.

Well with my crappy sense of direction, and my boyfriend not knowing where exactly the emergency room was, I found myself on a very large, VERY BUSY street (in addition to it being rush hour).

Well I turned on my blinker to change lanes, seeing nothing in my mirrors, and when I'm about 75% in the lane some hood rat on a cell phone speeds up and HITS ME. Motherfuck.

Well I slow down and move to the side of the road, but the chick just parks in the middle of rush hour traffic. Genius. the first thing she said, while still talking on the phone, was "Hey, I'm gonna need your information!" and then went to sit back in her car. I had to call my parents real quick, and then me and my boyfriend made it over to her car' dodging traffic (thankfully there were some nice people).

Well I handed her my card, and then asked for her information. She REFUSED, saying that "nobody was hurt, and there was no need to call the police". Still dazed, because it was my first accident (and thankfully a small one), I didn't say anything. But my driver's ed then kicked in and I got her license plate and what her car MIGHT be before she drove off.
(Oh, and at some point my boyfriend went to the other side of her car and came back, and she said "Ya'll see the damage you did to my car?" That WE did? Hah.)

Well we drove back to my boyfriend's house after that, at which point we told his dad everything. He immediately pointed out that it was fishy that she said not to call the police and didn't give us information. (and also I had to call and say I wasn't coming to work. So I missed earning money for this stupid jackass who hit me). So we called my dad to come over here (since we probably needed one of my parents) and went over to the police station to file a report.

So now we have "first blood", and it is classified as a hit and run. Gonna be so fun to deal with :I



Funny part starts here.
When the police officer went outside to look at the damage, he looked really disappointed XD He was like "this is all the damage? You sure you want to file a report...?"
It's like he expected a giant gash in the car or something :P Poor guy, "You dragged me outside for THIS?" lol.

Well apparently it's illegal to learn about the gas mileage of our cars in my house, so I have to mow the front lawn and can only drive to and from work.

What crawled up my parent's asses and died?

(Oh, and btw, they thought I was learning about gas mileage to "cheat them out of gas" and to pay the bare minimum of what I use to go to Tay's house and back. totally sounds like me, right?
As a matter of fact, the last time I went to go and get gas, Tay asked me what the gas mileage of our SUV was, and I didn't know. So I looked it up. Im such a horrible person, I know.)

I have officially been called an idiot by both of my parents.

My mother called me one for...not vacuuming the rug in the bathroom. She said that my sister had more sense than me, and shes a ditzy stereotypical cherleader dumbass.

My dad told me that i'm stupider than my cousin, who, by the way, thinks that gays have a mental disability and should be criminalized, and thinks that all muslims are terrorists bent on destroying the world.
