So I know it's not the coolest platform but I'm a sucker for Facebook, I'm on it all the time and that's where I make the majority of my sales so yesterday I decided to set up a Facebook page for my art.
I plan on posting sketches, WIPs, Linearts, finished pieces, sales, ect over there, it is also a good way to get ahold of me FAST for whatever reason you have.
I would appreciate any follows I could get as I am just starting out! So if you have Facebook and want to see these things from me, go on over and follow my page!

Need to Make $100 Tinight. Selling 2 Full Scene Commissio...
Posted a year agoI really need $100 by tomorrow morning. We are desperate for food and Jake needs gas to get to work.
I have full scene commissions for $50 each, I am willing to do 2 of them for the $100, or 1 two character full scene for the $100, we can work out many smaller commissions if that's what you would rather do too.
As long as I get $100 by the morning that is all I am concerned about. I will be drawing all day tomorrow, only have a few head shots to do, then I am Open to do the full scene commissions which only take me 4-5 hours to finish as long as I have freedom and a good idea of what you want.

I have been having just a rotten day.
Being bipolar you kinda start to notice the moods changing over time, I have learned to pick up the signs that things are about to go downhill, I have been preparing myself for a few days now (doing sketches for commissions ect.) I woke up this morning just feeling SOO down.
I went in to my doctor yesterday, who prescribed me a stronger anti depressant, to help with the coming issues I will face, highs and lows usually last about 6 months, but I was hoping to get some meds this time so I can skip the crap mood for the most part.
I picked Lee up from work at about 7 am, I was a bit moody, but he bought bacon and hamburger and requested I make him bacon cheese burgers for dinner. I didn't want to (people who have dealt with depression will understand) but I love him, so I did it anyways.
We were missing lettuce and tomato, which he whined about -.-
Then he goes to bed, I have been having pain still after all of those surgeries, so I took a pain pill and started his laundry (keep in mind I haven't slept in 24 hours at this point)
I stay up for 2 hours to make sure his clothes are washed and ready for him to go to work when he wakes up.
I lay down, get about 3 hours of sleep before it's time to wake up, get him breakfast and get him to work.
SOMEHOW I was running super late, which makes no sense since it's the same stuff I do every day, so I didn't even get to eat, I got his clothes put together, made him breakfast, ect, which he was stressed about because we were running late.
We manage to make it out of the house in just enough time to get him to work.
I mention in passing that I really hope the doctor sent out my prescription for the anti depressant, because I need to go pick it up, and I get lectured ALL the way to his work because he says I obsess about things to much -.-
He says that every time I go to say something, either I'm obsessing, or it's not something he wants to talk about, so I just shut up, then I get lectured for bottling things up.
So I drop him off, I am super irritable at this point, I come to the edge of the parking lot leaving his work, and some meth head on a bike starts screaming at me.
No reason.
Calls me... well I know many people don't hate saying this word but I do, so we will just refer to it as the "N" word, and starts calling me a piece of shit.
Solvi is sitting in the front seat freaking out like she is gunna have to take out some tweaker.
I yell out the window, call him a few colorful names as he rides his bike by, I usually don't do that but I'm just in such a great mood at this time. Pull out, make it to the pharmacy, where they tell me my insurance has lapsed.
As I try to explain to them that no it hasn't I JUST called the insurance company 2 days ago, they tell me it doesn't matter there is nothing they can do, so I'm like, whatever, I pay out of pocket, climb in the car and pull out the information for the meds and start reading (as I always do right away) they gave me the wrong prescription, it was one for me that I needed but not the anti depressant. Come to find out, my doctor DIDN'T send it in like she was supposed to (this has happened a few times now, but I even double checked with her that she was sending it RIGHT there with me sitting there) At this point it is 4:45 pm, everything closes at 5. Insurance makes you sit on hold for at least 3 hours before talking to anyone, and the doctor's office is closed till Monday.
UGH.
So I leave the store, get cut off by some old lady, grumbling to myself a little bit I'm like ok, you know what, I'm done, I pull over, open my soda I just bought, grab a dog treat for Solvi, we sit there for a minute to cool down, I leave again and drive home.
Again, still sore after all of the surgeries, it takes me a second to get out of the car. I open my door when I get home, I start climbing out of the car and Solvi bolts out my door and down the street after the neighborhood stray dog that she has a crush on -.-
So I'm chasing her yelling at her the best I can, remember I have dog treats, shake the bag, after 10 minutes she comes running back all muddy.
So she gets a bath, and I get to sit here now... finally relaxing in my home away from everyone.
It's still stormy out, the lights are still flickering a bunch, and I am in the mood to drink right now -.-
no money though cause I just spent in on meds that should have been paid for.
I called my mom to get cheered up, all she can say is "Hey! Tomorrow is your birthday!"
Yea, I'm old, I don't have any friends, and my family lives too far away to see me that day. I get to sit at home by myself all day, don't even have funds to treat myself to anything.
And now the internet keeps cutting out -.-
I'm just ready for this week to be over with.
I hate complaining on here cause I don't want people to just see me as this horribly negative person, but it helps to type it all out, so I'm sorry for that guys.
Storm: Keep losing Power

Amazing Boyfriend and a better birthday~
Posted 8 years agoAlright, I was feeling kinda bad about the journal that I posted yesterday, I didn't want to sound like a spoiled brat, complaining that my birthday sucked so bad.
In all reality I was just a bit sad because I don't ever really get to spend time with my family, and I always miss them most around my birthday.
Needless to say, Lee surprised me last night with a Reese's ice cream cake (which he knows is my favorite) a bunch of candy, cupcakes, cookies, and rockstars.
It was by far out of our budget, which I feel a little bad about, but he says he can make up for it before our rent is due.
It felt really nice seeing how much effort he put in, even though we don't have money to go out and do anything, and presents are kinda out of the question, he made it a good night.
He successfully sent me into a sugar coma and I passed out EARLY last night.
He said tonight he is making me nachos, which is really sweet, working 2 jobs, he hasn't made me dinner in like 2 years, and he knows nachos are my favorite food (plus we have mastered the art of the loaded nachos, so they are pretty damn amazing, better than I have ever found in any restaurant)
Needless to say, he put a LOT of effort in, and I am so grateful to have such an amazing man by my side, really.
Tonight, nachos and kids movies
I look forward to it~

Will Be Taking Some Time For Birthday Personal Art

My birthday is in a week (on the 8th)
That being the case, I would like to take time this week for some personal art.
I won't get to celebrate my birthday this year, so that's the best I can do for a "gift" for myself.
I just wanted to post a journal so people don't get upset when they see personal art rather than commissioned work.
As a side note, I have my skype open now, if anyone would like to chat while I work on stuff (through text, I don't like using a mic) I would be happy to ^^

Decided to do some practice sketches in my off time.
It's so hard when your sitting here drawing and the dog decides to be overly adorable and jump up in your lap and force her love and cuddles on you
It's like "awwww I love you too puppy, but your butt is on my tablet"
I don't wanna push her down but it is sooo hard to draw with someone laying across your boobs pawing at your tablet pen -.-

Just wanted to let everyone know, today is the beginning of my weekend, so I may or may not respond to notes today and tomorrow.
Also, my birthday is coming up (April 8th) and I will be taking off a couple of days for personal projects during that time, I will probably still be on skype if you wanna talk but won't be talking business on there ^^

Hey guys, I was thinking about doing a small sale, I will only be taking 2 of these that will be finished on my weekends when I don't normally draw, because they are good practice.

For this sale I will be knocking the price down a bit as I will be using them for practice and they will be completed on my own time.

Update After Surgery

Well I went in for my second surgery about 10 days ago, I'm healing up well, but I will be going back in for another surgery again soon, I have to make the appointment on Monday.
I got an offer for a job at a place I used to work, but it seems like I won't be through all of this before they expect me to start, so I don't think I will be able to accept it, which kinda sucks cause I was looking forward to working again.
This means more time for commissions I guess though, which is good to an extent, I need to finish up to waiting list quickly, and start making some money again because with all of these surgeries I have been racking up a lot of bills, and have been having real problems affording the medications for them.
I don't really know what I'm going to do after this next one cause I'm broke.
Anyways, things are getting better in the sense that the pain isn't nearly as bad as it had been, I had to go to the ER 4 times this month because the pain was so unbearable that even these pain meds they have had me on won't even touch it. Now pain is easier to manage and I have been able to relax a bit more.
I plan on getting some work done on commissions this weekend, and depending on when my next surgery is, throughout the week as well, hopefully I will be able to get a couple of them done in that amount of time.
There have been a few people that I sent sketches to, but haven't been responding, so I'm not really sure what to do there, I guess if I don't hear back I will just have to save the sketches for later and move on to the next person in line.
With that in mind I only have a few commissions left before I will open them up again, so if people are wanting art, you may start contacting me to work out the details at any time.
Besides that life has been good, after that last move everything has been very calm, it's nice to be in a house with friends that we have known for years, no tension or anything. We have a running car again thanks to my brother, and my puppy has been getting a lot bigger, she is set to have her final shots next month.
My birthday is coming up on the 8th of next month, Lee was making plans for it, but honestly I dunno that we will be doing anything at all, especially since it lands in the middle of his work week. My family doesn't really celebrate birthdays after your 21 so I probably won't hear from them, might just be a day for video games and movies, which isn't that bad I guess.

Apparently my last surgery didn't fix the problem completely, I'm in a bunch of pain again, my mom is coming to get me tomorrow and is taking me in to do the surgery again, this time I'm going to actually let them put me under.
