As I get back into my artwork and doing commissions, I see some SFW pieces coming up, which I would love to record and post on youtube. However I have no idea on how to go about this, I was curious if anyone would be able/willing to help me get it all figured out?
Moved and Surprise Surgery

Well I had started working a bunch and getting into the swing of things again after messing my wrist up about a month ago, I was finally getting stuff done, until recently.
Last week our room mates got an eviction notice because they kept moving random homeless people into their living room, letting them live there. They got the eviction notice 2 days after they had asked us to "help them out" and give them half of our rent early. Being nice people, who hadn't seen this coming, we agreed to. Then they tell us we have to get out. When I approached them about the $300 I had just given them they told me they spent it and they aren't giving it back -.-
While they were packing their stuff up, Lee and I continued our normal schedule (seeing as Lee works 2 jobs, we didn't really have a lot of time for all of this, but I had planned on staying up all night to pack our stuff and get it ready to go). Our room mate's mom decided she was going to come over and start pounding on our door and yelling at us because we weren't helping THEM pack THEIR stuff. I got real bitchy and told her off, but after 2 days of this, my anxiety was so bad I was getting less than an hour of sleep before waking up with panic attacks, not to mention they kept just LETTING themselves in to our room to move their stuff in there for some reason. It was ridiculous, so after a few phone calls, some friends of our's decided to let us move in and my brother drove an hour with his truck to come move our stuff out. After approaching these people about the $300 they had taken and spent, they told me again that they spent it and I wasn't getting it back, so my brother told them, "That's fine, my sister paid for 15 days this month so we are all gunna be staying here for 15 days." They didn't like that answer considering they were trying to pass an inspection the next day, trying to make it look like they were the only people living there the whole time. Needless to say, while my brother and Lee were unloading our stuff at the new place they invited 9 guys over to the house and started barking threats at me while I was there alone, saying they were going to bust my teeth in and everything. My brother came back, told them off, and we locked ourselves in my room, which they tried to force open. Long story short, my brother swung the door open as hard as he could to get them to let go of it and cracked some guy in the forehead with the door knob because he was down there trying to pick the lock. They called the cops, but the cops I guess saw it as self defense and let us leave.
We never got our money back -.-
$300 is a LOT of money for us and we are just out that money.
I called the landlord and told him everything, told him there was 12 people living there, told him about all the rules they were breaking, showed him pictures, and gave him the house key.
They didn't pass their inspection and they got kicked out early.
2 days after all of this happened I ended up in the emergency room for my skin condition. I was expecting maybe antibiotics, pain meds, and bed rest for a couple days. They came in and told me I needed surgery and they were going to begin prepping me. They asked me if I had a ride home, and I told them no, I drove myself. I kept insisting that I had to drive myself home. They told me they were going to put me under for the surgery, but because I kept telling them I had to drive and blah blah blah, they gave me 2 choices,l either they put me under and I call a cab (just lost $300 to crazy room mates, don't have money for that) or they basically do the surgery without ANYTHING, and I can drive myself home. After so many surgeries (I have been through about 9 in my adult life) I was feeling brave and told them to just do it, I could handle it.
WORST decision ever.
If anyone gives you the option to knock you out for surgery, take it.
That was the most intense pain I had ever been through.
Because of my skin condition, and shots to numb it wouldn't have helped, so I had no numbing beforehand.
It was a grand total of 10 minutes, which felt like days while they were doing it.
After they were done, they put me in a wheel chair, wheeled me out to my car, insisted it was a bad idea to drive, and I climbed in my car. My body was in shock so bad that I had to sit there for about 15 minutes before I could even start my car. My whole body was shaking.
I basically went and got my meds filled, Lee bought me some after surgery ice cream, and I went home and passed out.
I was stuck in bed all week, I didn't start getting up and moving around until yesterday, I am feeling much better now though.
Anyways, this was just an update on things, I will begin working again today, probably not ALL day, but I will get SOME work done for sure.
Sorry I haven't been in touch with people, I will begin going through my notes and whatnot today.

Slipped On Ice, Hurt Myself, Not Gunna be Drawing For a Bit

Here in Oregon we have been having a crazy winter, lots of snow. A few days ago we got a bunch of snow, which I LOVE, even living in the garage, I still love the snow. However, ice, not so much.
Last night when I was leaving to take Lee to work, I stepped on ice on one of the stairs coming out my front door and fell down 6 stairs, hit my back, and landed on my wrist. We thought it was broken, so I went in to the ER today.
Luckily it isn't broken, they said I sprained it really bad. and it looks like I bent the bone but didn't snap it? Never heard of that happening before but whatever.
I'm in a bulky brace for 3 weeks, and I'm not supposed to be using it.
Just my luck, it was my right hand, I can't draw right now.
It freaking hurts bad, plus I hit my back pretty hard so now I'm groaning like a 90 year old getting out of my chair and crap.
Clumsy people, stairs, and ice don't mix.

Last year I was in a fully heated house and we didn't even get an inch of snow.
This year I live in a garage and it won't stop snowing -.-

It has been a long time since I have updated anything on here, things around here have been crazy.
After months of constant harassment and threats from the crazy room mates (yes the ones that were responsible for breaking the window out on my car) Lee and I were home when they were served with paperwork for foreclosure of their house. Although WE were the ones that the papers were handed to, and we saw them, they denied it and lied to our faces about it. This isn't the first time they had lied to us, obviously lying about breaking my car window out, pulling the E-break and letting my car roll down the road, reaching through the window and flipping all the lights on in my car while I was sleeping (lights that I never touch) and leaving nails sticking upright and leaning against my tires in the road, not paying the electricity bill 3 months in a row, they were constantly trying to destroy my stuff, and for no reason other than I refused to clean up after them, even though I watched the neglect and abuse their animals, I was clearly the problem there. The papers were giving them 30 days before foreclosure and Lee and I couldn't handle not having a home at all since, well we can't live in a car with no windows when it has been stormy and snowing here so much. I went on the search for a new home, and we scraped together every bit of money we could and rented a garage down the street. It's super cold in here, and not ideal, but at least we are safe and away from those people. It took all of our savings, and then some, so now we are seriously screwed when it comes to money. We are basically just huddling under blankets and dealing with the 14 degree weather right now.
I am currently still unpacking, but once I am done it is back to art, and not only that, but after I get these commissions done I will be opening up a few slots again, as I REALLY need the money at this point. So if you still want art from me, they will be opening up in the near future for a short time.
There isn't really too much more to update on, I had a ton of stuff happening at that old place, with threats of violence against me, and almost being homeless before the foreclosure even came to light, but at this point that stuff doesn't really matter anymore. I apologize to everyone for not being around much lately, my life has just been kinda falling apart here and talking to people just seemed a little lower on my priority list than other things.
I am back again though~

After having a chat with Lee and my therapist it was recommended that I take a break from doing commissioned work and get back to working on things more for the pleasure of doing them rather than dealing with the stress of trying to make money. Lee told me he is making enough money now that he would like it if I focus on other things rather than stressing myself about how much money I am making on commissions.
I know I have had a few people interested in commissions lately so I will leave them open for a couple more weeks, but after that I will be closing them, and I don't know when/if I will ever open them again. If I do decide to open them again, it won't be for a while, and I will most likely only take one at a time.
I will be putting my effort into finishing the ones I owe people now, but after that most of my art will be done for me.
This will help me a lot, since lately the stress mixed with my already bad mental health has been too much.
I hope people understand.
If you are looking to snatch up a spot before I close them you are welcome to send me a message, however I will not be accepting everyone that comes in, as I want you to be happy with the finished product, which means I need to be sure it is something I can do well.

I have had a REALLY bad past few days.
So yesterday after I dropped Lee off at work, I came home and Solvi went to her kennel to take a nap. I sat down to work for about an hour before she woke up. Usually when she wakes up she jumps up on my lap and cuddles with me while I work. So when she jumped up on me and started rubbing on me I just kinda ignored her. She continued "poking" at me and rubbing on me and started whining, so when I looked down at her finally I see this horrible thing.
She had woke up and her eye was so giant and swollen that she couldn't even open it, and the other eye was starting to swell too. I was sitting there ignoring her and she was genuinely trying to alert me of something important.
I freaked out and grabbed her up, rushed her out of the room to see if anyone had any benadryl or anything, which no one had. I sat there and fed her water and talked to her until it was time to go to Lee's work for his lunch break, in which time the swelling on her eye had started going down a bit, so I wasn't as worried. I put her in the car and gave her the car blankets that she cuddles in to stay warm since we have no window now, and she just curled up inside them and went to sleep as usual. I drove to his work, which took about 10 minutes, and when I unburied her from the blankets, her whole snout and lips had swollen to a giant size! I again panic, and show Lee, he gives me his card to go get benadryl and so on. So I get her home and she just starts puking EVERYWHERE. Mind you this is about 3 am, and we have no vet offices around here that around open until 8 am. I was freaking out, her face was horribly swollen and all she could do is lay there, cry, and puke.
I felt so helpless. I finally got her some benadryl around 3:30 am, but she was still vomiting and crying so bad. Luckily benadryl kinda knocks you out, so she finally layed down and fell asleep. I spent the whole night sitting next to her kennel petting her and talking to her, listening to her breathing and catching any vomit with a paper towel and cleaning it off of her because it was going everywhere.

By the time Lee was off work, she was finally so asleep that even my petting her wasn't waking her up, and she hadn't puked in about an hour, so I closed her kennel door (where she had chosen to lay while sick) and I left her in there to sleep.
By the time I got home with Lee we let her out of the kennel and the swelling had gone down quite a bit and she was trying to play a bit. After we had gone to sleep and woken up 6 hours later (in which time she slept with us like usual) the swelling was almost completely gone.
I thought we were through it.
I talked to my brother inlaw about all of this (he is a vet, and my go-to guy when it comes to dogs) he told me it is a bad food allergy. I haven't given her anything new though, everything she eats is the same stuff that she has had since she was 7 weeks old, so I can't think of what it is she got a hold of. Either she snuck something in the minute or so that I wasn't watching her (she literally goes everywhere with me and is almost always within eye sight) or one of my room mates slipped her something.
So she spent all day recovering, she had energy and was doing great, then all of a sudden, tonight she started vomiting again! She can't keep any food down.
My brother inlaw told me to give her some ice chips but not give her any other food or water for a while to let her stomach settle, and if it is still happening in a couple of days we need to take her to the vet and have a full exam done.
I dunno what we are going to do if we have to take her to the vet because I have literally $0 on my paypal right now, and we are living paycheck to paycheck as it is.
I am freaking out so bad right now.
I am most likely gunna spend tonight sitting next to her kennel taking care of her again.

UPDATES:
Housing situation has only gotten worse. Through being screamed at for no reason, being on the receiving end of many threats, and literally having to avoid leaving my room at all if I possibly can (and bringing the dog if I have to leave) We are surviving.
I tried to clear things up with the room mate, it blew up in my face. I tried to apologize for blaming her for something I knew she did, she called Lee an Ass right to his face, threatened to call the cops if we ever made her mad again, and threatened to kick us out.
So we are laying low right now.
On top of it all I got in a car accident today. Some lady decided to pull out of a parking lot without looking where she was going and ran into the side of my car. After stopping and asking if I was ok, she just jumped in her car and left before we could even exchange info.
I'm fine except a sore neck/shoulder, Solvi was fine too, she was startled cause when we were hit she got knocked out of the seat and landed on the floor of the car, but otherwise was back to normal when we started driving again.
I dunno what's going on right now, people are crazy.
Anyways, I need to make money for rent, and hopefully pay my $20 phone bill for the month, so if anyone wants a commission Let me know
Honestly Freakin Scared For My Life.

This has been going on for a few weeks now and honestly, I'm so freaking terrified for my life, my boyfriend's life, and my dog's life.
We moved into this house because the people here seemed really cool and the room was bigger than the last one. We were dealing with crazy room mates at the last place and felt like it was time to move.
Little did I know, the last room mates seemed totally sane compared to the ones here.
Things started out slow, like them accusing us of stealing their ramen noodles, which I found on their shelf in the kitchen (we don't eat ramen, and we don't keep any of our food in the kitchen, we bought a small fridge and keep everything in our room).
It grew into them expecting us to clean up after their 8 cats and 3 dogs in the house. They let all of these animals crap and pee on the floor and just leave it there, as a experiment I didn't clean anything up for a week, it all just stayed there. The house stinks like you wouldn't believe. After I told them I pay rent here for my bedroom, I have my dog which I keep in my room, I don't have 8 cats and 3 dogs on purpose, because I don't want to take care of them, and I am not taking care of their animals.
In the past 2 weeks they let 2 rabbits and a chicken starve to death. I had been feeding them what I could find but didnt know where their food was because it was locked in their room.
Anyways, things started to escalate.
Last week at 4 am, here comes one room mate pounding on our door. Her dog is sick. I know a decent amount about animals, I have done a few rescues on dogs over the years I can usually tell you when they have a small upset stomach and when they need to go to the vet immediately. I went in to check on her dog. This was a VERY sick dog. Had every symptom that I have ever seen of being poisoned. I asked her a bunch of questions like "Do you know if she got into the garbage, have you seen her eating anything weird" ect. She got all mad at me and crap. I told her to take that damn dog to the vet immediately, even offered to give her a ride. She starts freaking out and wanting us to help pay the vet bill. Like WTF.
I told her no.
Long story short we found out she had been poisoning her dog's food.
Why?
Because she wanted the attention from us.
When we first moved in I used to spend hours just chatting with her and whatnot, but lately I have been too busy, and I knew she was starting to get upset about it.
Anyways.
3 days ago someone smashed the window out on my car, then tried to patch it up with a garbage bag.
Lets run through this.
I got home from picking Lee up from school at 11:30 am. My window was fine.
we played video games, hung out for a while.
at 1:30 pm one of my room mates goes to work (one we get along with, there are 6 including us living here)
at 3 am I wake up and decide I want to go to the store and grab some food. That's when I find glass everywhere.
I come in to talk to the room mate (mentioned before, that I get along with) and she tells me that she saw the bag in my window when she left for work at 1:30 and she had been waiting for me to wake up so she could ask what happened.
So sometime between 11:30 am and 1:30 pm the same day, it happened.
The bag that was put in our window was the same brand and color as the ones in the kitchen at our house.
The only person that was home was the pyscho room mate mentioned before poisoning her dog.
So we approach her about it, and she FLIPS out. Screaming at us, threatening to call the cops, ect.
The biggest screaming fit I have ever seen.
But never once denied doing it.

We didn't yell back or anything we just sat there in disbelief.
Later her boyfriend comes home from work and tells us that he found the window broken the night before and put the bag in it. He works from 5:30 am till 4 pm. He wasn't home when any of this happened. He had no way to be home when any of it happened. We know it was the crazy room mate, but there is nothing we can do about it because Lee doesn't want to get the police involved and our insurance won't replace the window.
So anyways, in passing talking to the OTHER room mates that weren't a part of this, we are told that the crazy one has been coming in our room and going through our stuff while we are out of the house.
I am freaking out honestly. She already poisoned her dog for attention, I am terrified to leave my dog here, I have her food locked up, I'm only buying canned foods that can't be tampered with. I am afraid to sleep here.
I am so happy the crazy one left for a week to visit family, but now it is horribly stormy outside and I'm driving around with no window, and it has been raining so hard I couldn't even patch the car cause it's too wet for tape to stick to it. It literally has a towel in the window while parked because that is the only thing I can weigh down enough to keep the wind from blowing it away and filling the car with rain. I don't have the money to buy a new window for this car.
I need out of this house. I am honestly freaking terrified and I don't want to be here when she gets back. Lee is scared, I am scared we need out.
Problem?
We don't have the money now because all of our money goes to paying rent. We are under contract saying we will give a month's notice before moving out, which means we have to pay rent, but every apartment around here is over $1000 a month!
I don't know what to do, I feel trapped here and I am just scared.
I dunno, I have only slept a few hours in the past few days because I'm kinda afraid something will happen while I am sleeping.
This hasn't been helping with my own mental health problems.
Neither of us have any family or friends we can stay with until we get a new place.
Ugh.
Anyways, sorry for the long journal, I just needed to get this out.

I managed to scrape together $15 because I felt so bad that the puppy had been cooped up in the house so long, so I went to the store and spent all of my money on a new sweater for her.
Staff was totally rude, too busy talking to other people while ringing me up, didn't even give me a receipt for my purchase and I ended up just leaving without it because I was all annoyed. Got home, put her sweater on her, and immediately realized her sweater was already coming unraveled.
Not only did I spend as much on this tiny sweater as I would on a shirt for myself, but she can't even wear it now.
So horrible.
Not to mention I was told when I called them that I can't return it without a receipt.
Ugh.
I just wanted a jacket for her so she could go outside
Now I don't even have money to buy her a new one.
I'm so frustrated.

Updates~
This new home has been great, the room mates are very friendly and our room is really nice ^^
As you guys may have seen I got a new puppy a little over a week ago.
We got a Rate Terrier and named her Solvi (pronounced SOUL-VEE)
She is a sweet very smart playful puppy.
She just turned to 8 weeks old last Saturday, she is fully potty trained, knows her name, she knows "sit", "lay down", "stand up" (beg), "speak", "shake", and she is learning "spin" now. She is also kennel trained, which she did on her own, for some reason she just loves the kennel we brought in here for her. She is usually super well behaved, until I sit down to work at least.
Apparently she gets bored, and feels like my tablet needs to die as I am using it.
I will try to draw and she attacks the pen, chews on the tablet, pounces on me, eats my hair...
I am getting a good lesson in patience.
I love her so much though, so is so sweet and so much fun to train.
I have been working every night, as fast as I can with her attacking me lol
Sorry I haven't updated lately, I have just been very busy trying to get this artwork finished.
I am trying to clear out more commission spots because Solvi wasn't given her puppy shots before we got her, so she can't even be around other dogs right now. I really need to make the money to take her into the vet for those, not to mention I would like to pick up some more toys for her so that hopefully I can preoccupy her while I work. I have one commission spot open right now, but I am hoping to open up more so we can get everything taken care of.

She is a sweet very smart playful puppy.
She just turned to 8 weeks old last Saturday, she is fully potty trained, knows her name, she knows "sit", "lay down", "stand up" (beg), "speak", "shake", and she is learning "spin" now. She is also kennel trained, which she did on her own, for some reason she just loves the kennel we brought in here for her. She is usually super well behaved, until I sit down to work at least.
Apparently she gets bored, and feels like my tablet needs to die as I am using it.
I will try to draw and she attacks the pen, chews on the tablet, pounces on me, eats my hair...
I am getting a good lesson in patience.
I love her so much though, so is so sweet and so much fun to train.
I have been working every night, as fast as I can with her attacking me lol
Sorry I haven't updated lately, I have just been very busy trying to get this artwork finished.
I am trying to clear out more commission spots because Solvi wasn't given her puppy shots before we got her, so she can't even be around other dogs right now. I really need to make the money to take her into the vet for those, not to mention I would like to pick up some more toys for her so that hopefully I can preoccupy her while I work. I have one commission spot open right now, but I am hoping to open up more so we can get everything taken care of.

Well after about a week of packing and moving we are finally in our new home and all unpacked again.
We have about twice as much room as the last place, and our new room mates are awesome, first night here we just sat outside talking for hours.
Now that we are all settled and unpacked I am ready to start working again, which is great because I have been wanting to draw for days!
Needless to say we are much happier here

Sunday is our official move in date!
After getting everything worked out with planning and whatnot, it has come down to packing and moving the stuff over there, which is gunna take me a little time.
I will try to work on commissions if I find some time, but if not, I will work on them after the move.
I am really sorry for making your guys wait longer for your art
