So, the holidays are always usually hard for my family, being on the lower end of the income spectrum and all. But this year takes the cake.

We had to put our 13 yo male Blacklab mix to sleep yesterday. He has been suffering for awhile but he was really getting bad. Was having issues breathing, couldn't walk too well, going blind and deaf, coughing/hacking. Then recently he started bloating, around his midsection and then around his neck ' which was probably what was causing his breathing issues and coughing/hacking '

So, we made the decision to euthanize the poor man but we had no money...luckily, through the generosity of my wife's friends, we got y] the amount to get it done. My grandma threw in some money to have him cremated. Which I am glad of because the ground here is frozen and there would have been no way of being able to dig a grave.

Upon examining him, the vet mentioned that he looked like he had testicular cancer that finally moved through his body. Which is what was causing the bloating of the midsection and his throat area.

That said, make sure you get your dogs spayed or neutered. Besides the reasons why most people tell you about, they also aparrantly run a higher risk of getting testicular or ovarian cancer if they are left intact. IF people would start with that reasoning, I feel more people would get that done, I know we would have. We didn't get him neutered because he never had issues with the things people tell you about to get you to neuter them. He didn't go around spraying things, he didn't go around humping things and we never let him out of the yard nor did he ever tried to escape the yard to look for tail....so yea..

Honestly, that will probably be all that I post on here are photos. Maybe the occasional journal, that most likely no one even reads...lol.

I can't draw...or write well, not keen on audio or video stuff BUT I CAN take pictures. I just don't know if they are anything that people actually want to look at. My ' tool belt ' is usually just nature/landscape, clouds/storms, and moon pictures.

Well, it's officially my 35th birthday, just another day really, nothing special.

I find it funny that I've been on here for several years and I have yet to have any art of me/my fursona, not even a reference sheet. Guess that's what happens when one never have any money to spend on fun stuff/artwork, oh well.

Anyways, rambling over, blessed to be to who ever actually ends up reading this.

You know..I don't think anyone reads these things..lol, so would that mean that I'm writting to myself? o.0 Anyways..it sucks being poor, I have so many great artists that I'm watching that would make an awseom pic of myself..but I have like zero funds for a commission. :(( Ah, that's life I guess..

Now for the rant part..Will we please have a nice storm that'll cool this heat off..I'm getting tired of this heat index triple digit bs...ok yes I understand it's Summer time and all..but damn. o.0 Yes..it's not just you, I always post about the heat..lol, only heat I like are that kinds that females goes through..and that's it. ;)

Ok I live in the part of the US that really....REALLY shouldn't see 90 degree weather all that much, BUT it's been in the 90's for the past week! It wouldn't be too bad if we had AC or central air but....we don't, just fans blowing hot air and dust and everything else at me!!!! GAH!!! Come on mid to late fall....get here QUICK....maybe an early winter? Ace Wolf.
