Druddigon
Primarily found in the mountains of Unova, Druddigon primarily spend their time in winding caves created by Pokemon like Exadrill and Onix, emerging only to gather sunlight using its wings when it grows cold. Druddigon mate in caves and cave-like structures, rarely straying too far from the mountains when searching for mates. Male Druddigon have lightly ridged retractable penises that are stored within their bodies, and female Druddigon have cloaca. Druddigon hunt for mates, and while one would expect a large creature such as Druddigon to have difficulty capturing smaller, more nimble Pokemon, Druddigon are very fast for their size and can easily overtake Pokemon half their size. Druddigon forcibly copulate with chosen mates, using their rock-like skin as a defense against attacks from their partners. Female Druddigon will build a "nest" out of rocks at the entrance of a cave to allow newborn Druddigon access to both the safety of the cave with the warmth of the sun.
While the idea of a forceful Pokemon mate may sound appealing to some, trainers should be wary when attempting to mate with a Druddigon: unlike most Pokemon, they do not attempt to control their strength when forcing themselves on a mate, and Druddigon do not stop after they have begun. The most effective precaution a Pokephile may take when attempting to mate with a Druddigon is to have a secondary Pokemon on standby to directly intervene if necessary. Druddigon do not mate for life, and rarely copulate with the same partner more than once.

Hydreigon
The exceptionally destructive final evolution of Deino, Hydreigon are unique in that they are one of the only types of Pokemon that will actively mate with multiple Pokemon at once. The two brainless heads that Hydreigon use as arms contain a esophagus-like canal that connects to both the stomach and the reproductive organs (epididymis for the males, ovaries for the females): by default, the canal leads to the stomach, and the pathway to the reproductive organs is opened only during mating. Unusually, Hydreigon also have fully functional external reproductive organs, the males having a retractable phallus and the female having a cloaca. When a Hydreigon seeks out mates, it will often attempt to find and copulate with a group of compatible Pokemon, using both its external reproductive organs and its heads to either collect or deposit genetic material. Hydreigon will often use its impressive strength to forcefully mate with its intended targets, and after copulating will attack its former mates: males will rarely seriously injure their partners, but females often inflict severe wounds that sometimes lead to death. It is believed that Hydreigon do this as a wide-scale evolutionary control method, as Pokemon who have mated with Hydreigon rarely seem to find willing mates afterwards.
Because of its ability to pleasure multiple partners, some Pokephiles band together to tame and control a single Hydreigon, as it takes a significant amount of work to train a Hydreigon to mate with humans, and even more effort to keep it from attacking its trainers after it's done. Pokephile communities that have groups that do this keep a close eye on these trainers to ensure that they are not abusing the Hydreigon, and any individual within these groups who is found to be hurting the Hydreigon are ejected from the group. Despite this, joining one of these groups is the easiest option for trainers wishing to mate with a Hydreigon. Trainers who wish to mate exclusively with their Hydreigon must be made aware that Hydreigon will attack them once copulation is complete, so training this behavior out of them is a priority. Pokephiles who have gone down this road have recommended using a secondary mediator Pokemon to attack Hydreigon after it finishes mating so it associates attacking with pain. It is advised for amateur trainers to enlist help from an experienced Pokephiles to ensure maximum success.

Mewtwo
There are those in the scientific community who believe that our purpose as Pokemon researchers is to simply observe and attempt to understand the natural order of the world, and that we should not attempt to overstep our boundaries by attempting to modify this order to our own whims. Many scientists who follow this way of thinking frequently cite the existence of Mewtwo, the savage mutation of Mew created by geneticists on Cinnabar Island by heavy DNA modification of a fertile Mew embryo (it is difficult to appreciate the gravity of the discovery, but according to the researchers Mew reproduces via live birth, which is a phenomenon unheard of outside humans. However, as the studies of the Cinnabar Mew contain the only available information about Mew as a whole, this report is currently under scrutiny). While Mew can reproduce, Mewtwo cannot as it does not have male or female reproductive organs.
Prior to its escape, the researchers of Cinnabar kept exhaustive logs regarding Mewtwo's development. One log in particular stated that occasionally Mewtwo would produce elevated levels of dopamine and serotonin as it slept. However, as Mewtwo was exceptionally uncooperative during its time in captivity, it is not known what would have caused this phenomenon. The only other time such an incident occurred was upon presenting Mewtwo with a picture of Mew (the picture of its mother, in fact, though Mewtwo was not made aware of its exact relation with that specific Mew), suggesting that despite its lack of sexual organs, Mewtwo does have primal mating instincts.

Articuno
One of the three legendary birds of Kanto, there are more firsthand reports of encounters with Articuno than Zapdos or Moltres. Articuno appears to climbers lost in the mountains and guides them to safety, leaving behind one of its unique translucent wings behind. Outside of these interactions with humans, very little is known about Articuno, and intentionally attempting to attract Articuno for the purposes of study have continuously met with dismal failure (primarily due to researchers attempting to do so never actually being in any real danger, unlike the climbers Articuno assists). While there are rumors of Articuno (as well as Zapdos and Moltres) hatching from eggs, no solid evidence has ever been presented for such a possibility.
While researchers in the field are quick to dismiss the account, there is one story regarding Articuno that is of some interest to Pokephiles: the log of William Lawrence, a Pokephile trainer who set out into the mountains to look for Articuno. According to the report, Lawrence did not bring any of his Pokemon along with him, and eventually got lost in the mountains. He managed to stave off hypothermia for a few hours, but eventually became too tired to continue to wander. It was at this moment that Articuno came to Lawrence, and wrapped itself around his body to warm him up to a point where he could walk. Lawrence, in a half-delusional state, used this opportunity to kiss Articuno's neck, and according to Lawrence himself, Articuno brushed the lower half of its body against Lawrence's pelvis, resulting in a "wet" sensation on his crotch. Lawrence blacked out, and was found at the edge of a forest near a ski lodge, where he recovered successfully. As Lawrence was in possession of one of Articuno's feathers, researchers believe that Articuno did come to Lawrence and brought him to the forest, but he hallucinated the rest of the encounter.

Rhydon
Exceptionally strong and highly prized among Ground-type trainers, the drill-like horn on Rhydon's snout is a key part of its mating rituals. During the mating season, male Rhydon will often battle each other and focus specifically on each other's horns in an attempt to break parts of it off. The reason for this is that female Rhydon often choose male Rhydon based on how large their horns are, so males frequently try to eliminate competition by attacking other Rhydon's horns (Rhydon who have their horns completely destroyed often do not mate, even with other Pokemon species). Female Rhydon have vaginal canals, while males have retractable penises that are ridged in a spiral-like fashion. Immediately after mating with a male Rhydon, many female Rhydon attempt to make their way to nearby inactive volcanoes, wherein they will carve a small "pool" of out of rock and create small channels of lava into the pool, after which they lay their eggs in the pool and allow the heat of the lava to warm the egg (Rhydon eggs will hatch without lava, but Rhyhorn born in lava often have much stronger hides than those that have not). Due to the destructive nature of this particular quirk, many towns near inactive volcanoes will have volunteer citizens on standby to watch for pregnant Rhydon and help guide them to pre-carved lava pools to prevent any undue loss from a careless carving. Female Rhydon only do this after mating with a male Rhydon, any eggs from another mate will be left behind by the female.
Female and homosexual trainers must be made aware: the ridges on Rhydon penises are somewhat sharp and can cause serious internal injury without proper protection. Many Pokephile communities can assist in providing a trainer with extra-durable condoms for their Rhydon, and thankfully many Rhydon are intelligent enough to understand the purpose of said condoms (human condoms will not work as the spiral ridges on Rhydon's penis will tear through the latex quickly). Even so, the trainer must be in control of the pace during intercourse, as even covered Rhydon penises can cause injury if one is not careful. Rhydon do not often mate more than once every few months, and while possible, this behavior is very difficult to train away.

Pikachu
Beloved among male and female trainers the world over, Pikachu are without a doubt the most well-known Electric type Pokemon in existence, possibly the most well-known Pokemon period. Yet despite their almost universal appeal, few trainers who own Pikachu seem to understand specific details about the species itself, and while it is not necessarily a requirement for trainers to be experts on Pokemon biology, base knowledge of topics such as mating habits can help trainers understand the intricacies of their Pokemon and the reasoning for its behaviors. For instance, Pikachu are able to mate year-round, and are not picky when choosing mates. Upon selecting a mate, a Pikachu will attempt to nuzzle the electric sacs on its cheeks against their mate's cheek, creating an electrical discharge. Upon creating this discharge, Pikachu will immediately begin to mate with its partner, with copulation only lasting a minute or so. Unlike many Pokemon, Pikachu do not induce immediate ovulation when stimulated by an external electrical shock (such as those provided by Luxray), though they do seem to enjoy it.
Due to the relative small size of Pikachu, it can be somewhat difficult for Pokephiles to mate with their Pikachu, and often resort to electrically-assisted masturbation techniques, particularly with female trainers. The vaginal opening of female Pikachu is just barely wide enough for an average human phallus to fit, though care must be taken during intercourse to avoid any undue harm to the Pikachu. Whether it be through direct mating or through mutual masturbation, Pikachu that mate with their trainers have been found to be far easier to teach new skills, as well as easier to control during battle. Despite this, Pikachu do not mate for life, and do not have any adverse reaction to discovering their trainers mating with other Pokemon.

Palkia
To discuss Palkia (as well as its counterpart Dialga) is to delve into the deepest myths and legends of Sinnoh. Indeed, as the stories of Sinnoh go, Palkia was one of the very first Pokemon ever to be created, preceding even the progenitor Pokemon, Mew. As a courtesy to both the religious community and the spiritually-inclined scientists of Sinnoh, Palkia and Dialga have both been added to our national Pokedex as real, living Pokemon. However, there have been no reports of Palkia ever truly interacting with humanity, and it is unlikely that such an interaction will ever occur. The only time Palkia is even mentioned having existed in our world is upon its birth by Arceus at the peak of Mt. Coronet.
Because of this, there is no information regarding Palkia and mating. Carvings of Palkia have provided Pokephile trainers enough material to fantasize about what Palkia is truly like from a sexual perspective, and some have even taken to utilizing their Ditto to recreate a "faux-Palkia" for personal pleasure. However, outside of basic shape and feature, these re-creations of Palkia are too wildly different to produce any kind of meaningful insight into the overall anatomy of Palkia, let alone any details of behavior (Pokephiles who use their Ditto in this way also tend to train in specific behaviors for mating). It is not the place of any scientific body to judge trainers for their fantasies one way or another, but no one depiction of Palkia (or any "deity" Pokemon, for that matter) should ever be taken as canonical fact, since canonical fact has not (and likely can not) ever be empirically proven.

Jigglypuff
Well known for its ability to induce sleep through singing, the song of Jigglypuff is not just a battle trait, but a necessary component to survival in the wild. Jigglypuff use their song to disable predators, subdue Pokemon attempting to eat their food, and, most importantly to this study, incapacitate potential mates for the purpose of breeding. Jigglypuff, upon discovering a compatible partner, sing their lullaby to the partner in the hopes that it will fall asleep. If it does not, the Jigglypuff flees, as this behavior is often treated as a threat and can lead to aggression. If the partner does fall asleep, Jigglypuff will stimulate the genetalia of the sleeping Pokemon with its mouth, stopping only to sing more of its lullaby in the event a partner begins to awaken. Jigglypuff do not have genitalia, and have a branching canal from their digestive tract that leads to their internal reproductive organs. Male Jigglypuff will regurgitate genetic material within the first few moments of stimulation, while female Jigglypuff will usually take longer to ensure partner climax. Jigglypuff dispel eggs through their mouths, and only stay with their young long enough to teach them the lullaby that is so vital to their survival.
As mating with a male Jigglypuff only lasts a few seconds, Pokephiles interested in Jigglypuff will often engage with a female of the species. While engaging a Jigglypuff can be as easy as applying pheromones, coercing a Jigglypuff to engage in sexual intercourse without the need of a lullaby is monumentally more difficult and often requires months of continuous training and attention to build enough trust between trainer and Jigglypuff. However, such effort pays off in full, as Jigglypuff who trust their trainer for sex are often much more enthusiastic during the actual act of copulating, and do not have limitations on when they will accept trainer advances. As far as Jigglypuff's enjoyment of intercourse goes, Jigglypuff have a line of tactile receptors along the palate of their mouth, and stimulating these receptors results in endorphin release in the Jigglypuff's pleasure center of the brain.

Roselia
A common sighting in floral shops across the world, the sweet aroma that emanates from Roselia's flowers is especially fragrant when the Roselia is preparing to mate. Male and female Roselia do have genital openings between their legs, but this is primarily for Roselia to mate with each other, wherein a male and female press their openings together to exchange material. For larger mates, Roselia rely on their flowers to accept/discharge material. Female Roselia flowers are carpellate, meaning they lack the stamens that male Roselia flowers possess. Instead of pollen, male Roselia flowers produce a clear sticky sap that contains sperm cells, which can then be given to a compatible mate for egg production. Female Roselia flowers, on the other hand, have hollow tubes which open to allow genetic material to reach the Roselia's ovaries. While mating is not usually an issue for Roselia in forest and grassland environments, female Roselia in deserts and mountainous regions will often seek out other Pokemon couplings and utilize any "leftover" genetic material found.
Because of their size, it is impossible for humans to traditionally mate with Roselia, and are limited to mutual masturbation and oral sex. Roselia are very accepting of human advances, however many Pokephiles who have tried to mate with their Roselia have found it to be unappealing, as Roselia are generally too small to provide any meaningful pleasure to their larger partners. Pokephiles who still wish to pleasure their Roselia must be advised that the thorns on Roselia's head contain a powerful poison that must be treated immediately to prevent any lasting damage to the body. Roselia's flowers also contain poisonous barbs, but Roselia are able to "sheathe" these barbs, so they are of no concern for mating.
-
Roserade
An evolutionary product of a Roselia and a Shiny Stone, the physical mating characteristics of Roserade change dramatically after evolution. The increase in physical size allows Roserade to accept genetic material through the genital opening directly, and the flowers on Roserade's arms no longer play any role in mating. In addition, Roserade's behavior changes drastically: while Roselia would simply seek out compatible mates and await their initiation, Roserade will aggressively attack mates, holding them down with vine whips as they copulate. Partners that resist are generally met with a paralytic poison from Roserade's flowers, which normally stops all but the hardiest of mates.
After evolution, Roserade become large enough for humans to have sex with them, but any Pokephile who evolves their Roselia must be careful when trying to mate, as Roserade will treat their trainer like any other partner during intercourse (though unusually this does not extend to the battlefield, and Roserade will still have the same respect for their trainers' commands as they did before mating). As the vines that Roserade produce to hold mates down are covered in sharp thorns, it is imperative that this behavior be trained out of Roserade to prevent injury. Once a Roserade is properly trained, however, Pokephiles have found that Roserade is surprisingly masochistic while mating and often prefers rough, intense sex to gentle copulation.

Liepard
Despite the general negative stigma that surrounds Dark-type Pokemon, Liepard are very popular among Unova trainers and have even been described as "beautiful" by non-Pokephiles. Nevertheless, the mating habits of Liepard do conform to the "merciless" properties many Dark-type Pokemon have. During mating season, Liepard will stalk a potential mate for hours, waiting for its target to lower its guard (which most often happens at night). When the mate is at its most vulnerable, Liepard will quickly attack and pin down its partner, after which it will forcibly begin to copulate, utilizing barbs in its genitalia to ensure its partner does not escape (both male and female Liepard genitals have barbs). Upon successful mating, Liepard will flee, using its impressive speed to escape any comeuppance it might receive from its mate.
As with many Pokemon with barbed genitals, it is important for Pokephiles interested in their Liepard to remove the barbs before intercourse to prevent injury. While male Liepard barbs can easily be clipped, female Liepard barbs must be removed surgically, which many official Pokemon surgeons will not do without good reason. However, many Pokephile communities have connections to alternative, Pokephile-friendly surgical professionals who will provide the service for a small fee. Some Pokephiles do not like the questionable nature of this practice, and will opt instead to simply use thick-ribbed condoms to protect themselves from the barbs. Unusually, despite their reliance on stealth in the wild, Liepard will openly accept advances from their trainer for mating, and will allow their trainer to dominate them during intercourse.
-
Scolipede
One of the more aggressive Bug-type Pokemon found in Unova, Scolipede are unusual in that they are one of the very few species to utilize the spermatophore system for reproduction. A male Scolipede will chase down a mate and confront them, wherein it will deposit a spermatophore onto the ground for the mate to collect. If the chosen mate does not accept the spermatophore and attempt to get away, the Scolipede will then pick up the spermatophore with one of its legs and attack the mate, doing whatever it can to forcibly insert the spermatophore into the female's genitalia. Female Scolipede, on the other hand, confront mates and present their genital slit, attacking mates who refuse to copulate. Female Scolipede bury their eggs after laying them, but do not stay with their offspring.
As male Scolipede do not have a phallus of any kind, many female Pokephiles have found that mating with a Scolipede is simply not an option. While it is possible to train a Scolipede to use its tongue for oral sex, this often is only an option after engaging the Scolipede in it's own mating ritual, which many trainers have found unpleasant. Trainers mating with female Scolipede, on the other hand, have generally found it to be a pleasant experience, though female Scolipede tend to be very demanding after mating with the same partner multiple times, and can present themselves for intercourse at inopportune moments, to say nothing of their propensity to still attack resistant mates even after copulating with them repeatedly.

Flaaffy
A staple Pokemon for many ranchers, it is rather uncommon to find Flaaffy in the wild. Those Flaaffy that are not directly owned by a ranch still live close to ranches, as they are a good source of food and shelter. Because of this, most mating information about Flaaffy comes from domestic breeders, and their habits in the wild are generally unknown (though presumably similar, as Pokemon that herd in captivity generally also herd in the wild). During mating season, female Flaaffy will breed with a single male in the herd, one that is either chosen by the breeder or the designated "alpha" of the herd (usually established through physical contest). A single male Flaaffy can mate with as many as fifteen females in a single day, and many ranchers prefer to mate their female Flaaffy with a male to ensure quality wool production in offspring Mareep. The wool of Flaaffy also prevent predatory Pokemon from mating with them, as it can store a significant amount of electricity that Flaaffy can release to ward off unwanted mates. In addition, many Electric-type Pokemon tactics are ineffective against Flaaffy, as many Electric-types attempt to shock their targets into submission, which does not work on Flaaffy due to the rubber-like quality of its skin.
Many Pokephiles who wish to mate with their Flaaffy are usually in a position to dispel the static electricity stored in the Flaaffy's wool, which would normally deter humans from mating (while humans will often never come into contact with Flaaffy's wool directly, during intercourse Flaaffy often release the electricity stored in their wool). Antistatic devices such as antistatic clothing, neutralizing agents or even shearing machines are generally common on ranches raising Flaaffy, and are indeed required to prevent electrocution from Flaaffy's wool. While shearing is the most effective procedure, neutralizing agents are often the easiest choice for most trainers with individual Flaaffy, as most agents work immediately and come in spray bottles, which allow trainers to coat the entirety of their Flaaffy's wool without having to touch it. Dangers of their wool aside, Flaaffy are generally easy to copulate with, and do not reject the advances of their trainer.
-
Ampharos
An exceptionally treasured Pokemon of the people of Johto, Ampharos are actually rather rare in modern times, as most Mareep breeders tend to only allow their Mareep to evolve into Flaaffy to keep tabs on wool quality. Nevertheless, Ampharos are able to generate enough electricity in their tails to create very bright lights, which they use to ward off predators. As far as mating goes, Ampharos follow similar habits as their pre-evolutionary forms: they will only mate with the dominant males within their herd (though Ampharos do not herd like Flaaffy and Mareep do, so "herd" is used very loosely in this description and primarily describes any Ampharos within a general area). Male Ampharos prove their dominance by lighting their tail: the male with the brightest light is considered dominant. Ampharos also lose the rubber-like quality of their skin after evolution, so Electric-type predator mates are able to shock them into submission (though it is more difficult due to Ampharos' being an Electric-type itself).
Ampharos are the most intelligent of the Mareep line, and will actively seek out intercourse with trainers that have mated with their Ampharos before. Ampharos are also the only ones in their line that mate for pleasure, as it is rather common for Ampharos to attempt to copulate outside their mating season. There is very little for Pokephiles to worry about when mating with an Ampharos, but it should be noted that some Ampharos have less control over their electricity than others, and will sometimes light the end of their tail during climax. Because of this, it is important to keep one's eyes far away from Ampharos' tail during intercourse, as looking directly at Ampharos' tail when it is lit can cause severe damage to the retina of the eye.
-
Audino
Valued in the Unova human health care industry and Pokemon health care industry equally, Audino's exceptional hearing abilities are utilized when it searches for a mate in the wild. Audino can detect even the faintest of sounds within a half a mile radius, and can analyze whether or not a heard Pokemon is compatible for mating and if it is ready to mate. If both conditions are met, Audino will seek out the heard Pokemon and attempt to engage it, often by simply presenting itself upon discovery. Male and female Audino have mammalian reproductive organs, and many times Audino will refuse to be the dominant mate. During intercourse, Audino will often rest their ear-feelers on their mate's chest, monitoring their heartbeat and synchronizing their body movements with their mate, moving more and more as their mate's heart rate increases (presumably to ensure mates do not overexert themselves and stop before ejaculating).
It is not uncommon for Pokephiles interested in Audino to find that Audino will present themselves for mating very soon after the Pokephile discovers their interest. Audino are reported to very intimate mates, often encouraging more "romantic" behavior such as kissing and hugging, particularly during intercourse. Trainers who mate with their Audino should be careful around Audino's ear feelers: while they are normally very good at handling large amounts of noise, Audino will immediately end copulation if an exceptionally loud sound (such as a yell) happens right next to their ear or ear feeler. While not normally monogamous in the wild, Audino mating in captivity or with trainers mate for life, and are in the Adaptive category of infidelity response. Audino are very welcoming of additional mates in a relationship, and many times Audino will prefer to have multiple partners dominate it both during and outside of intercourse.

Darkrai
While no inhabitant of Sinnoh has ever seen Darkrai in the waking world, everyone either has a story or knows someone who has a story of Darkrai visiting them in their dreams (or more accurately, their nightmares). Often reported most often during a new moon, very little of Darkrai is actually known outside of its association with nightmares. It is believed it has some kind of association with Cresselia, as those who are lucky enough to own one of its feathers never experience nightmares. While Darkrai is a phenomenon found all across Sinnoh, the most frequent and most severe nightmares manifest to sailors travelling near Newmoon Island, where it is believed that Darkrai physically exists (assuming Darkrai actually has a physical form).
While the exact subject matter of the nightmares caused by Darkrai vary from person to person, broad themes within nightmares in given time frames suggest thoughts and moods of Darkrai at those times. For instance, it is believed that nightmares involving intimacy or sexual situations are caused by Darkrai's desire to mate, as several sleep studies conducted by independent research groups in Jubilife City show no discernible pattern or underlying cause for such "themed nightmares" within participants. However, those who have recovered from the "endless nightmare" comatose state commonly attributed to Darkrai often report engaging in frightening behavior, both sexual and otherwise, with Darkrai directly, so it is possible that somehow Darkrai procreate through these nightmares. Further research into either of these theories is ongoing.
-
Ivysaur
Far more assertive and "rude" than it's pre-evolved form Bulbasaur, it would make sense that Ivysaur seeks dominance during mating. While Ivysaur do in fact actively seek out mates (like so many "rare" Pokemon, Ivysaur male to female ratio is approximately 7:1, so it is in the "predatory" mating group of Pokemon), Ivysaur's forwardness only goes so far. Upon encountering a viable mate, Ivysaur will extend the vines on its back to capture its mate, but it will not force its newfound partner into intercourse. Instead, the Ivysaur will place its mate in front of itself and present its genitals (a phallus for males, a vaginal tract for the females). During this time, the bulb on Ivysaur's back will create an appealing aroma to further entice mates into copulating. If a mate attempts to escape, Ivysaur will again use its vines to recapture and re-place the mate until it either mates with the Ivysaur, attacks the Ivysaur, or attempts to get away enough that the Ivysaur allows it to leave (usually three or four escape attempts). During the actual act of mating, Ivysaur rarely look at their partner, and emit a small, barely audible noise upon climax.
As humans tend to have intercourse very differently than most Pokemon, it comes as no surprise that Pokephiles have a somewhat different experience mating with Ivysaur. While the initiation on Ivysaur's part is still the same, during intercourse Ivysaur respond much more favorably to displays of intimacy. Pokephiles who have kissed or hugged their Ivysaur during intercourse have found that it becomes much more enthusiastic during intercourse, and will actively look at their partner while copulating. Interestingly, Ivysaur have capillary loops on either side of its face, and during intercourse with their trainer the blood in Ivysaur's face will widen, making it look as though Ivysaur is blushing. Pokephiles in more restrictive communities should be made aware that the odor that Ivysaur emits from its bulb continues to be exuded for several hours after intercourse. For this reason, it is a good idea to return your Ivysaur to its Poke Ball shortly after mating with it to prevent unwanted interest from inquiring parties.

Emolga
One of the more energetic Pokemon in the wild, the surprisingly large amounts of electricity Emolga generate have an interesting use for mating. During mating season, Emolga glide from tree to tree, looking for a mate. When a compatible mate has been spotted, the Emolga ascends as high as they can and attempts to glide over their chosen partner and emits a small pulse of electricity from the membranes in their patagium, temporarily incapacitating their chosen mate. Male Emolga then deposit their genetic material into their mate, while female Emolga latch onto their partner's phallus and produce small discharges of electricity, forcing an ejaculation, which the Emolga collects. Emolga mating with each other do not act this way, and mate traditionally.
Humans cannot have intercourse with their Emolga due to the difference in size, so a Pokephile wanting to mate with their Emolga is limited to the use of their mouth and fingers (though the Emolga can, and often will, wrap itself around its trainer's penis as it would in the wild. Trainers who have experienced this have said it is an intensely pleasurable experience). Trainers who have performed oral sex on their Emolga report the experience is similar to licking a battery. A small warning for homeowners: Male Emolga have an unusual tendency to attempt to "mate" with electrical outlets. While this will not hurt the Emolga, the resulting ejaculation can result in a shorting out of the outlet, so investing in outlet covers is advised.

Ninetales
One of the most distinguished Fire-type Pokemon in the world, Ninetales are among some of the most difficult Pokemon to mate with. Because of their naturally long lifespan (typically said to be one thousand years, though there are no records of Ninetales living that long; the oldest recorded Ninetales lived to be just over two hundred and fifty years old), courting of Ninetales can take years before it shows any interest, so actual procreation with Ninetales is most often done through force by their mates (unusually, procreation between two Ninetales is radically different: a female Ninetales will readily accept a male's advances, though they typically do not stay together after mating). Pokemon who force themselves upon Ninetales typically do not suffer immediate consequences, but more often than not Ninetales will stalk their attacker and strike at their most vulnerable, often resulting in severe injury and even death. Ninetales do not enter stages of "heat", and are always fertile.
As mentioned before, earning the trust of a Ninetales can take quite some time. Most trainers who have successfully mated with their Ninetales have stated that their Ninetales did not even take notice of their advances for several years, and often required an "act of selflessness" for the Ninetales to be convinced (these acts often taking the form of protecting a weakened Ninetales from harm or caring for a Ninetales during illness). The actual mating with a Ninetales has been described as "intense" or "very emotional". Ninetales, when mating with a human (or any Pokemon willing to wait), will mount their partner and gaze into their eyes. Trainers who stare back into their Ninetales eyes during this time report sensing a "connection", feeling closer to their Ninetales than anything else. Ninetales who mate this way mate for life, and are in the Aggressive category of infidelity response. An unfaithful human partner will suffer the wrath of a jilted Ninetales, who will not stop hunting their partner until they have sustained significant injury, after which they will abandon their former trainer. Despite this, many trainers who have mated with their Ninetales find they have a loyal lover for life, and will remain mated to their Ninetales until death. Among Pokephiles, the response of a Ninetales to the death of their human mate is one of the most profound: a Ninetales will curl up next to the grave of their mate and refuse to leave, starving themselves to death and ending their long life out of grief for their mate. The only time a Ninetales will move is to attack any individual who attempts to get them to leave.
-
Houndoom
Widely regarded as one of the most "evil" Dark-type Pokemon among both humans and Pokemon, the ferociously violent nature of Houndoom is widely the reason for the negative stigma surrounding them. This extends into their mating habits: with the exception of the alpha, Houndoom within a pack must actively search for mates either within their pack or outside. Houndoom in this situation initiate mating by attacking their target mate, after which both parties fight ferociously for control (often times the victim will attempt to flee). Alpha Houndoom do not need to do this, as they simply choose a mate within the pack, and the chosen mate will submit to the will of the alpha. Male Houndoom penises typically create a mating "knot" during intercourse. Houndoom are exceptionally nurturing to their young, often seen playing and nuzzling with their Houndour offspring. Both male and female Houndoom involve themselves with child rearing.
Trainers mating with their Houndoom will find it surprisingly easy to accomplish: through the act of capturing and/or raising their Houndoom, they are automatically designated the alpha of the pack, and a trainer can initiate mating with a Houndoom whenever they choose. Houndoom do not mate for life, however it is advised to wait a week or two after mating with a Houndoom before attempting intercourse with another Pokemon, as Houndoom who have mated with their trainer will become moody if their trainer copulates with another Pokemon during the Houndoom's "cooldown" time. This moodiness will fade within a few days, but it is advised regardless just to be safe.
-
Florges
The dazzling all-female final evolution of Flabébé, trainers and Pokemon alike easily mistake Florges as a timid mate. This is not so, however: while Florges are normally a very gentle Pokemon, during mating their behavior radically changes, using force to dominate their mates. Predatory mates stalking Florges come to find themselves at the mercy of the vines they keep hidden within the flowers on their head. Florges have a reproductive canal hidden in the back of the base of their torso, revealed only when they bend over. Florges use their vines to manipulate their captive mate to procreate, after which they send their now frightened partner away with a sharp whip against their backside.
It is highly recommended that Pokephiles who wish to mate with a Florges are made aware of this fact before attempting to mate, particularly if they are the Florges natural trainer. While they do not mate for life, mating with a Florges nevertheless severs the trainer/Pokemon bond that is built upon capture and training, and a trainer's Florges will no longer treat their trainer like their trainer, but instead like a slave. Attempting to resist a Florges during intercourse will result in whippings, though Florges are never aggressive with their attacks, whipping only enough to retain control of their mates. For some, this is a blessing, and Florges respond well to mates who they can continuously dominate. However, many trainers have attempted to mate with their Florges without proper research, and have ended up giving their Florges away. Florges will perform oral sex if propositioned by a trainer they have mated with repeatedly, however the Florges will expect their trainer to return the favor, and those who don't will be punished.

Pangoro
The cantankerous evolution of Pancham, the mating habits of Pangoro are very unusual, even among Pokemon. Pangoro do not actively seek mates and are rather standoffish to many Pokemon who are forward with their attempts. However, if a Pokemon is being "bullied" by another Pokemon, a Pangoro will step in and protect the Pokemon being attacked. Some Pokemon take this opportunity to escape, but some Pokemon respond by following the Pangoro around, despite its general discomfort of such an event afterwards. Eventually, a Pangoro may grow comfortable with a following Pokemon, and if the Pokemon is biologically compatible, the Pangoro will attempt to mate with it. Typically, following Pokemon will accept the Pangoro, though rejection has been observed in the wild (in this instance, the Pangoro refuses to interact with the following Pokemon from that point on). Pangoro possess typical mammalian reproductive organs: females have vaginal cavities, males have phalluses, and Pangoro are very gentle when copulating with their mate, paying close attention to their mate's vocalizations and movements. Pangoro are exceptionally protective of their mate and offspring, often becoming confused if a mate chooses to leave. Because of their protective method for mating, Pangoro rarely mate with each other.
Because of their unique approach to mating, it is often difficult for Pokephile trainers to initiate mating with their Pangoro. The perceived position of power a trainer has over their Pangoro makes appearing weak complicated, and many trainers who have attempted to trick their Pangoro into believing they were being bullied have been met with confused failure. However, almost completely on accident, a new method has been discovered to initiate mating between Pangoro and trainer: if a Pangoro believes their trainer is dejected, it will make several attempts to lift their trainer's spirits. After several failures, a Pangoro will awkwardly present itself to its trainer, allowing said trainer to copulate with their Pangoro. Pangoro mate for life, and are in the Adaptive category of infidelity response. If a mate is unfaithful to a Pangoro, they will simply ignore their mate from that point forward, which makes further use of the Pangoro for battle difficult for trainers. It should be noted: while Pangoro who have mated for life are generally comfortable with most sexual requests of their mate, they are exceptionally hesitant to "bully" or aggressively dominate their partner when requested initially. Over time, a Pangoro will acclimatize to such requests, but it should be mentioned that early requests can be a challenge.

Delphox
Combining the playfully energetic disposition of Braixen with an immense intelligence boost from evolution, researchers and Pokephiles alike have taken a keen interest in the mating habits of Delphox. The species as a whole are predatory mates, but unlike Fennekin and Braixen, Delphox do not use pure force to subdue a mate. Instead, Delphox uses its "wand" to enthrall a chosen mate by setting the tip of the wand on fire and planting it into the ground, mesmerizing the chosen mate until the Delphox has established a psychic link with the mate, after which mating will begin. Unlike many predatory Pokemon, Delphox do not apply excessive force on mates who attempt to escape during copulation, presumably due to the general effectiveness of their technique. Delphox tend to be the dominant partner when mating, though on the rare occasions they have been observed to be submissive, they do not appear to resent the shift in position.
Unlike Braixen and Fennekin, Delphox are very receptive to initiation from trainers, and will accept most advances with no resistance. However, while they do create psychic links with their trainers, many Pokephiles have reported that it is only a "surface" level connection as compared to the connection created upon a Delphox initiating mating. Trainers who have experienced a Delphox's attempts at mating have said that the flame, while not being necessary for humans, helps during the establishment of the psychic link, as the process is described as "very invasive" and "initially uncomfortable, but rewarding in the end", as the link lasts well after mating and can be used as a channel to induce future copulation. Trainers who have linked with their Delphox can feel what their Delphox feels if they focus on the link that is created. Delphox do not mate for life, and some trainers have linked with their Delphox for the purpose of experiencing mating with other Pokemon.

Kangaskhan
Occasionally called the "parent" or "mother" Pokemon in research circles, Kangaskhan raise their offspring in their pouches, and are rarely seen without child. This is because of the very aggressive mating habits Kangaskhan have once their children are old enough to leave the pouch: Kangaskhan, when childless, will seek a mate nonstop, ovulating quicker than any recorded Pokemon during this time and emitting very powerful pheromones to attract a partner. When a mate is found, Kangaskhan do not waste any time and begin to copulate with their mate, accepting partners through a vaginal slit found below the pouch of the Kangaskhan. Kangaskhan lay eggs remarkably quickly, usually only two or three days after intercourse, and immediately place the laid egg within their pouch for warmth. After hatching, the baby Kangaskhan remain in their mothers pouch for around three years, after which the child will leave, and the cycle will start again. Kangaskhan will mate while they are with child, but their behavior is much more subdued, waiting until their child is asleep to accept partners and moving their child out of their pouch to a safe place nearby to not disturb its slumber. Kangaskhan who lay eggs while they are with child are, unusually enough, more open to having the egg taken away from them, and it is rare to see a Kangaskhan with more than one child.
As can be expected, the trainer/Pokemon barrier is at its thinnest when a Kangaskhan is childless, and will accept even the slightest attempt from its trainer to copulate, making Kangaskhan a very popular choice for Pokephiles. Interestingly, Kangaskhan vocalize much more when they mate with a human, and orgasm much more than they do normally in the wild. It is believed this is an evolutionary tactic to ensure successful ejaculation of the male, however critics of this theory point out the most obvious flaw: Kangaskhan and humans cannot procreate, thus eliminating the need for such a tactic. Nevertheless, Kangaskhan will mate with a human for as long as the human is physically able, after which it will seek a new partner. After a Kangaskhan bears a child, she will still be receptive to mating, and trainers who assist with raising the baby Kangaskhan will find the mother will initiate far more often and will be exceptionally passionate during these mating sessions. While Kangaskhan do not traditionally mate for life, they will often be very affectionate with trainers who they had mated with during their childless state, and many in the Pokephile community joke that a Kangaskhan and her mate are more akin to husband and wife than trainer and Pokemon. One final word about the baby Kangaskhan: while mother Kangaskhan will initially refuse to mate with a trainer while her child is awake, over time she may be more open to mating during the day, and some Pokephiles have reported that their Kangaskhan came to enjoy having her child watch the mating process. This behavior can be stopped with minimal resistance, so it is up to the trainer as to whether or not having the child watch during intercourse is acceptable.

Heliolisk
An increasingly popular "utility" Pokemon in cities close to deserts, the amount of electricity Heliolisk can generate is not just useful for powering businesses during emergencies. As observed in the wild, Heliolisk use their internal electricity to stimulate the muscles in their legs, which allow them to run much faster than normal at an estimated rate of 40 mph (done in short bursts, of course). This allows Heliolisk to be much more effective at daily tasks, such as hunting, predator evasion and, of course, mating. Heliolisk use the energy from their legs to chase down potential mates during the wet seasons, using another electrical shock to temporarily incapacitate their target partner once they are within range. Heliolisk then use their electrical energy to stimulate the erectile tissue of either themselves or their partner, depending on the gender of the Heliolisk, and begin to copulate. Like many Electric Pokemon, Heliolisk use their electricity to stimulate their partner, ensuring successful ejaculation. Heliolisk gender are somewhat temperature-dependent: in excessively hot temperatures, Heliolisk eggs exclusively produce females, while intermediate temperatures (like those found during the wet season) produce equal numbers of males and females.
Mating between Heliolisk and humans is relatively straightforward, as Heliolisk will more often than not choose to copulate with any trainer it senses to be ready to mate. While the amount of electricity Heliolisk generate to stimulate their partners is generally reported to be sufficient for most, trainers who have mated extensively with their Heliolisk have found that stroking its neck underneath its frills produce significantly more electricity during mating. While this can lead to more enjoyment for both parties, be warned: while Heliolisk will never intentionally harm their partners, using this method may is dangerous as Heliolisk have little direct control over the amount of electricity they release this way, and it is entirely possible for the Heliolisk to generate enough electricity to result in significant nerve damage. Heliolisk do not mate for life, and they do not appear to actively favor one mate over another for repeated copulation.

Breloom
Primarily found in warm and humid forest regions, many new hikers and campers are often warned by both field guides and seasoned travelers to be wary of the eating anything in the forest, specifically because of Breloom. The seed clusters on the end of its tail, while appearing edible, are in fact very toxic and can cause severe gastrointestinal distress if consumed. Partly used as a defense mechanism against predators, Breloom also utilize these seeds for mating. When a Breloom is ready to mate, the seed clusters on its tail swell, and the Breloom hides in a bush or tree, sticks its tail out, and waits for a mate to wander by. When a mate consumes one of the seeds, they are almost immediately paralyzed. The genital region of the Pokemon is stimulated by the nutrients in the seeds, however, so during this time the Breloom is able to mate with their chosen partner. Breloom do not have genitalia: female Breloom absorb genetic material through their mouths, while male Breloom release genetic material through their mouths. Breloom reproduce by regurgitating eggs after mating, after which they are carefully placed in a safe location before the Breloom wanders off.
While it may seem like the obvious path to mating with their Breloom, it is heavily advised for trainers to not eat the Breloom's seed clusters. The paralysis inflicted by the seeds affects humans as well, and the toxic spores are still present within the seed clusters, so eating one of these seeds will essentially cause paralysis, followed by gastrointestinal distress (usually happening while paralyzed). Instead, trainers who wish to mate with their Breloom can trick their Breloom into thinking that they have eaten the seed by plucking it, pretending to eat it, and then feigning paralysis. A note for female trainers - like many Grass Pokemon, the genetic material male Breloom release can be used as a lotion, but Breloom often release their material as deeply into the vaginal canal as possible, so it is advised to clean oneself thoroughly after mating to prevent any unnecessary infections.

Ledian
Found more often in less populated regions of the world, it is said that Ledian use the light from stars as energy. While it is currently unclear whether or not that assertion is accurate, it is true that Ledian are more active during the night under clear skies, and is integral to the mating process for Ledian. Ledian only become sexually active on clear nights, usually during the summer months, and will spend the entire night seeking out a mate. Upon finding a mate, Ledian will release a glowing powder containing pheromones that assist in garnering their chosen partner's interest. Ledian and its mate will then seek out the highest possible location and begin to copulate: both male and female Ledian have specialized reproductive canals located at the base of their abdomen, males using this canal to hide their endophallus. Ledian lay their eggs at the tops of trees, coating their eggs with a glowing powder that contains a bittering agent to ward off potential predators.
While Ledian are not overly popular in Pokephile mating circles, trainers who have mated with their Ledian have reported unique challenges in attempting to copulate with their partner. Because of their unique requirements for mating, the choice of location for mating is significantly limited (most trainers who have done so claimed to mate on their house's roof), and copulating outside is a difficult thing to ask of many people. However, it is indeed necessary, as Ledian will not accept simulated night skies as an alternative. This is mitigated somewhat by planning mating sessions during late hours of the night when very few people are awake, and some have even grown fond of this, choosing to mate with other Pokemon outside at night. Ledian will mate with their trainer as often as their trainer wishes (so long as the requirements are met), but they do not mate for life.

Leafeon
The pacifistic Grass-type evolution of Eevee, the passive nature of Leafeon extends beyond it's attitude towards battle into all facets of its behavior, including mating. Leafeon, by nature, do not actively seek out mates, only copulating with Pokemon who initiate with them, resulting in one of the lowest procreation rates out of all Grass-type Pokemon. Nevertheless, once engaged, Leafeon utilizes the same biological advantages as other "Eeveelutions", the shaft of the male's penis engorging to create a "penile knot" while the female's vaginal slit swells to accept mates. While Leafeon will mate in any conditions, they are much more active during intercourse if done in direct sunlight. As with many Grass-type Pokemon, the vaginal fluids and semen of Leafeon have many beneficial proteins, however Leafeon have another unique quirk: upon climax, the leafy protrusions along Leafeon's body release a small amount of sweet-smelling liquid. It is unclear as to why this happens, though it is believed this is intended to attract mates, though why Leafeon only generates this liquid upon orgasm is unclear if so.
Many trainers who have mated with their Leafeon reported not knowing for years about the natural passive nature of their partner, so aspiring Pokephiles should have no issue attempting to copulate with their Leafeon. While Leafeon are initially passive, should a single mate cause them to orgasm repeatedly, they will start to actively initiate mating, so trainers who prefer more active partners need not worry. The liquid Leafeon's leaves release upon climax can be collected if a trainer is quick enough, and is popular among Pokephiles as an alternative to perfume. Trainers should be aware of the varying laws regarding Pokephilia in their region, however, as the scent of Leafeon liquid is unique and can be used as a positive identifier for inquiring parties.

Slowbro
One of the most iconic examples of symbiosis in the Pokemon world, it is impossible to discuss the biological specifics of Slowbro without discussing the Shellder on its tail. The venom that Shellder injects into Slowbro's tail through its teeth numbs many of the Slowbro's sensory nerves, which combined with Slowbro's general lack of displayed intelligence, results in the belief that Shellder is primarily in control of Slowbro's actions. This seems to be supported by Slowbro's mating habits: Slowbro only initiate mating with a compatible partner when the Shellder on its tail bites down, resulting in a temporary intelligence spike and boost in sexual energy. Experiments run wherein the Shellder is incapacitated through artificial means show that Slowbro, without the influence of Shellder, do not choose to mate. It is unclear as to why Shellder would dictate when to mate, but it is believed to be a wide-scale evolutionary tactic to provide future Shellder sufficient Slowpoke for symbiosis.
Attempting to initiate intercourse with a Slowbro has proven to be a monumentally difficult undertaking for Pokephiles, as attempting to stimulate Slowbro itself has no effect due to Shellder. One would assume that trying to stimulate the Shellder would be the next obvious solution, however there have been no recorded successes of gaining the interest of Shellder to allow Slowbro mating. Because of this, the conditions for Slowbro mating with their trainers appear to be totally random. It should be noted that attempting to remove a Shellder from a Slowbro's tail will result in the Slowbro reverting back to a Slowpoke, so Pokephiles must be made aware that the conditions for mating change drastically upon the removal of the Shellder.

Arceus
What can be said about Arceus that has not already been said before? Religious texts throughout humanity's history have gone into great yet vague details about the nature of the so-called "Original One", and though there are certainly alternative interpretations about the facts of creation (most notably the exact role of Mew), it goes without saying that Arceus is a name nearly every person on the planet knows. Unfortunately, as is often the case in these matters, very few scientific facts regarding Arceus are truly known, most of which stemming from the discovery of the elemental plates, which religious scholars believe to be objective proof that Arceus exists. The elemental plates are also the source of the only information even remotely connecting Arceus and mating among Pokemon: a Pokemon in possession of a plate that corresponds to it's type appear to be more open to mating with other Pokemon sharing its type. However, due to the general rarity of these plates, as well as their religious significance, extensive testing of this phenomena has been rather limited.
To discuss the role Arceus has regarding mating with humans is almost laughable, since it is still unknown if Arceus even exists. Nevertheless, many religious sects believe that when a human dies, their soul is claimed by Arceus, who envelops it within itself that creates an afterlife of never ending bliss. This theory among some religious sects also claims that the only time humans feel that in the natural world is at the point of orgasm, and because of this the takeaway is that the afterlife with Arceus is in fact Arceus mating with the soul of humans. Unfortunately, while ancient stories describe humans and Pokemon co-existing as equal species, for centuries following the discovery of Pokemon capture via apricorn (and thus the catalyst for the Age of Humanism), the belief was that humans were the only creatures to have souls for Arceus to claim, which was the cause for many problems regarding Pokemon/human interactions, not the least of which the long-time stigma against human and Pokemon mating. While much has changed over the last century or so, some people are stuck in the old ways of thinking, and to them Pokephilia is nothing more than perverted sin.

Golduck
Unquestionably the fastest swimmer of all Pokemon, the swimming speed of Golduck is a vital part of their procreation. During mating season, a small protuberance near the Golduck's pelvis can be seen, which extends to nearly half the length of the Golduck when around a compatible mate. Male Golduck during mating season become much more aggressive, attempting to mate with as many partners as it can find, using its impressive swimming capabilities to overtake and overpower a mate in the water. Female Golduck are much less aggressive, often laying themselves near the edge of riverbanks waiting for a mate. While it may not seem like female Golduck have much choice in their choice of mate, after mating they will sometimes release a liquid within their cloaca that acts as a natural spermicide, eliminating sperm from unwanted mates. Both male and female Golduck do not typically mate for life with other Pokemon, though a male and female who mate with each other often stay together to help raise offspring Psyduck.
Pokephiles who wish to mate with Golduck are rare, and most of the time their chosen partner is female. The very rare few who have expressed interest in mating with their male Golduck have reported that the actual act of mating with a male Golduck is exceptionally unpleasant, some of whom have had to be hospitalized due to internal damages from the Golduck's erect member. As such, it is generally not advised for any trainer to mate with their male Golduck. Mating with a female Golduck is generally safe, however, and wild female Golduck will accept a human as a mate during mating season (it should be noted that both male and female Golduck are only able to be mated with during their mating season; attempting to mate with a Golduck outside the normal mating season will always result in failure).

Serperior
A popular Grass-type Pokemon among wealthy male children, Serperior are very well known for the intense glare they give their opponents in battle that often leave opposing Pokemon motionless. This glare is important to Serperior, utilized in everything from hunting to mating. When a Serperior is ready to mate, both males and females will seek out compatible partners. Upon finding a suitable candidate, the Serperior will attempt to immobilize their target using their glare, slowly moving its head back and forth in a hypnotic motion as it lightly coils its own body around the body of its mate. Once the coiling is complete, male Serperior align their tails with the genitalia of their mate and produce a spiked hemipenis, which they insert into their mate to release genetic material. Female Serperior act similarly, brushing the tips of their tails lightly over their mate's penis until it is erect, after which they gently lower their cloaca onto the penis. This method is successful against most Pokemon, however some Pokemon who are able to resist Serperior's glare will attack, causing Serperior to become much more aggressive with its mating. Serperior having to fight to mate will use its body to constrict its partner as it forcibly copulates, after which it flees as quickly as possible to avoid a fight.
While normally humans have enough self control to resist Serperior's glare with minimal effort, many Pokephiles who have mated with their Serperior report that intentionally succumbing to this glare is necessary for human-Serperior mating. Trainers who have done this have reported it to be a very relaxing experience, commonly comparing it to laying in one's bed after a long day of work. Trainers who have second thoughts about mating with their Serperior will find that it is fairly easy to "snap out" of the immobilization brought on by the glare and end mating prematurely. Overly emotional trainers be warned: Serperior who are in the middle of mating genuinely believe they have their prey fully incapacitated, so breaking the glare in an attempt to kiss, hug or otherwise become physically closer to their Serperior can frighten the Pokemon, which will either result in fleeing or reflexive coiling, depending on the general disposition of the Serperior, and coiling can cause broken ribs.

Milotic
Colloquially referred to as the "Tender Pokemon", Milotic are popular mates among Pokemon in the wild, and it isn't difficult to see why. Despite not being officially classified as a Psychic-type Pokemon, Milotic nevertheless are able to sense emotion in humans and Pokemon alike, and emit a powerful calming agent through specialized glands over their body that induce dopamine production when inhaled. While this almost always successfully quells anger in Pokemon, it also helps arouse Pokemon, and if left around a Milotic long enough, any Pokemon able to mate will attempt to mate with Milotic (even Pokemon that are not biologically compatible). Milotic will usually accept these advances: males will engorge one or more of their tail fins, opening the sperm channel for genetic material to pass through a small opening at the end of the tail fin into an accepting orifice. Female Milotic, on the other hand, reveal a small reproductive opening that they gently rest upon a mate's genitalia. This opening is flexible and can support all but the most extreme sized phallus.
Due to the potency of the calming agent Milotic releases, many researchers studying Milotic have found (much to their discomfort) that this agent is just as effective on humans as it is on Pokemon. Because of this, trainers are warned about Milotic, and some trainers have opted to take organic supplements to offset the effects of their Milotic's calming agent. Pokephiles, on the other hand, value Milotic for this agent specifically, and many polyamorous trainers have a Milotic as one of their mates. Milotic do not mate for life, and will mate with their trainer as often as their trainer wishes.

Alakazam
Popularly believed to have an IQ over 5000 (largely due to its exceptional memory, though the actual IQ number varies between Alakazam and is generally closer to the 500-600 range), Alakazam are one of the highest regarded Psychic Pokemon in the world, as are any trainer that can utilize an Alakazam's potential effectively. In the field of Pokemon study, Alakazam are unique in that they do not have reproductive organs. Instead, both male and female Alakazam gather genetic material from partner Pokemon by psychically stimulating their partner until release (it is worth noting that female ejaculate obtained via this method contains gamete cells, which are not present normally). Alakazam collect these genetic samples in one of their spoons and uses it's psychic ability to form a hollow "egg" from nearby organic materials such as rocks and plant matter (if the amount of materials are insufficient, Alakazam will move to a location with a suitable amount of usable materials) and place the genetic material inside this structure. After the "egg" has been filled, Alakazam will balance it between its two spoons and begin to channel its energy between the spoons, creating intense psychic emissions that prevent outsiders from disrupting the process. After five to ten minutes, Alakazam stops, and the organic material falls away to reveal a fully-contained Pokemon egg with a successfully maturing embryo inside.
Despite the fact that there is no direct intercourse, Alakazam is one of the most popular Psychic-type Pokemon among Pokephiles. Alakazam are exceptionally receptive of trainer advances, are very open to sexual suggestion, and do not mate for life (though some Pokephiles do remain "loyal" to their Alakazam). Because of the distinct developmental differences between humans and Pokemon, Alakazam's method of reproduction is ineffective when attempted on human genetic material, and many Alakazam only try once before refusing to try again. While Alakazam do not show any external signs of enjoying sexual activity, recent studies have shown that when pleasuring a mate, Alakazam produce high levels of dopamine, which suggests an extreme enjoyment from pleasuring a mate.

Flareon
The warm-hearted Fire-type evolution of Eevee, Flareon shares many of its mating characteristics with the other evolutions in the Eevee line. Flareon choose their mates, the penis of the male Flareon expands to create a penile "knot", while the vaginal opening of female Flareon swell to better accept their chosen mate. The differences between "Eeveelutions" lie in the specific details of the mating process. For example, Flareon climax much quicker and much stronger than others in their line, and their behavior regarding eggs is far different: unlike most Eevee evolutions, Flareon guard their eggs, gently keeping them close to their lower abdomen for warmth. Interestingly, upon climax during mating, Flareon spray a stream of fire from their mouths. This is believed to be a result of their internal reproductive organs expanding and contracting during orgasm, pushing against the internal flame sac in their lower abdomen.
The only danger to humans mating with their Flareon is the stream of fire mentioned earlier. It is not something Flareon can control, so it is up to the trainer to simply make sure to keep well away from their Flareon's face as the mating progresses. Trainers who have experimented with other Fire-type Pokemon have noted that the genital region of Flareon is somewhat warmer than other Fire-types, presumably due to the close proximity to the internal flame sac. Due to the nature of Flareon climaxing in conjunction with the "comfortable" warmth of their genitalia, many Pokephiles who regularly mate with Flareon actually prefer to give their Flareon oral sex, as they claim that the semen or vaginal fluids of their Flareon are warm and sweet-tasting. Many researchers in the field opt to take the trainers' word on this matter.

Gardevoir
An exceptionally gentle and loyal Pokemon, Gardevoir have had the misfortune of having several lies spread about its biology in reference to mating. The vaginal tract of female Gardevoir secretes a thick mucus that provides sufficient lubrication for mating, and does not contain any kind of necrotoxin (which, frankly, is a ludicrous conceptualization as no Pokemon type other than Poison can even secrete any kind of toxin safely). It is believed that these falsehood stem from the genuine fact that Gardevoir will use its psychic abilities to force unwanted mates to have hallucinations, and that the image of "penile necrosis" was a hallucination as a result of unwanted contact from a trainer.
Furthermore, male Gardevoir (and Gallade, which have similar biological properties) do have lightly ridged penises that do create a "ribbed" sensation, but these ribs are purely to keep semen in an orifice (much like the penile "knot" that some species of Pokemon have). Mating with a male Gardevoir is completely safe, and many Pokephiles have come forward to defend their mates against such lurid rumors. Those allegations aside, Gardevoir do mate for life, and are in fact part of the Aggressive category of infidelity response, so while natural mating with a Gardevoir is safe, failing to remain loyal to a Gardevoir will result in vivid negative hallucinations, which can result in severe mental stress that can only be resolved through years of therapy and medication. All negativity notwithstanding, mates of Gardevoir report that Gardevoir are very loving mates that do use their psychic abilities to enhance intercourse, creating elaborate fantasies for both themselves and their mate to enjoy.

Kakuna
The pupal stage between Weedle and Beedrill, it is interesting to consider that Kakuna can mate at all. Nevertheless, exhaustive tests and observations indicate that Kakuna (and Metapod, for that matter) do in fact have the ability to breed. The reason they can breed is actually due to the still-developing Beedrill inside the cocoon, as female Beedrill spermatheca and male Beedrill endophallus are one of the first things to fully develop, mostly carried over from their Weedle stage. While in the wild they are mostly immobile, if on the off chance a compatible male Pokemon releases its genetic material near a female Kakuna (or, in some cases, on the Kakuna), the female Kakuna will inch along very slowly to the site of ejaculation to absorb the material through a very small opening on the bottom of the cocoon. Male Kakuna, on the other hand, release material through the same opening of the cocoon if they sense a potential mate in the area. Females release an egg through the same hole they received material from, the hole being flexible enough to allow the egg through without cracking either itself or the Kakuna.
Kakuna is not a particularly popular choice among Pokephiles. Outside of some very specific examples (most notably Vespiquen), Bug-type Pokemon are typically avoided due to very different biology and general discomfort regarding their overall appearance. Nevertheless, some adventurous Pokephiles have experimented with Bug-type Pokemon, and have discovered that Kakuna, upon sensing a mate, will vibrate slightly. It does not take much imagination to deduce what a Pokephile wishing to mate with a Kakuna does with this vibration. In addition, trainers who try to mate with their Kakuna claim that doing so creates a strong bond with the Beedrill that would normally require several weeks of continuous work to achieve. However, while Kakuna do seem to respond more favorably to trainers who raise them after evolving from Weedle than those trainers who simply catch them as a Kakuna, the specific mating mindset of a Beedrill in this instance has yet to be thoroughly tested.

Typhlosion
A somewhat volatile evolution of Quilava (and from that Cyndaquil), Typhlosion are somewhat unique in that they neither mate for life, nor do they simply mate at random. Instead, Typhlosion only ever have three mates throughout its lifetime, never more. Typhlosion choose their mates the same as any other Pokemon, and while in a "pair bond" with their mate they will only copulate with that mate (after the initial breeding, Typhlosion will only engage in intercourse with its mate for pleasure; during this time male Typhlosion ejaculate contains no genetic material, and the uterine wall of female Typhlosion becomes inhospitable for incoming spermatozoa). Mates of Typhlosion during this time are free to breed with any other mate of their choosing. The conditions for Typhlosion to move on to another mate vary: some wait for their respective partner to die, others simply move on once the egg is hatched and the offspring embarks on its own. If presented with a previous mate after leaving it, Typhlosion will generally ignore it, although persistent previous mates have been met with light hostility.
The behavior of finding and abandoning mates makes Typhlosion an interesting choice for Pokephiles. On one hand, those who do not wish to be tied to one Pokemon need not worry, as Typhlosion is generally easygoing in regards to other mates. However, Typhlosion treat humans the same as they do other Pokemon, and will abandon their human mate at any given moment, even if it is their trainer. For this reason, it is not recommended to mate with a Typhlosion if it is going to be used in battle. Mating with a Typhlosion is generally safe, but caution must be exercised as the orange and red spikes on Typhlosion's neckline become exceptionally hot when it nears climax and can cause first degree burns.

Espeon
The loyal Psychic evolution of Eevee, the physical mating habits of Espeon are very similar to the other evolutions in the Eevee line. However, the way an Espeon chooses its mate is very different: instead of simply choosing a mate out of compatibility, Espeon uses its psychic abilities to lure potential mates in, then chooses based on what it reads from each of the Pokemon's minds. Espeon tend to allow their mates to handle rearing of eggs, and will mate for pleasure more often than any of the other "Eeveelutions". Espeon do not climax as easily as other members of the Eevee family, however when they do they release a psychic "signal" that other Pokemon in the area are able to sense. This does not appear to have any purpose, and the reason for Espeon doing this is unknown, although it is speculated that the increased activity of the pleasure center of the brain temporarily overpowers Espeon's natural control over its psychic abilities, causing a lapse in the "psychic wall". This has yet to be proven, however.
Humans mating with an Espeon is tricky, as the initial contact is determined completely by the Espeon. Amateur Pokephiles have often sought the help of more experienced Pokephiles in this area, and the general consensus is that while doing certain things like focusing ones thought onto mating around the Espeon help, there is no surefire way to convince an Espeon to mate. Trainers who have successfully gotten the attention of their Espeon confirm the psychic pull, describing it as "an intense desire to just be around Espeon, like it becomes the most important thing to do at that moment". Interestingly, if a trainer manages to get an Espeon to climax upon mating, the Espeon will choose to mate with them more often in the future, and the Espeon will begin to "probe" the trainer's mind, a sensation that many trainers find very pleasurable.
-
Emboar
The fierce final evolution of Tepig, Emboar have some of the most marked changes during mating season out of all Pokemon. When the time has come to search for a mate, the testicles of a male Emboar double in size, and the Emboar develops a coating of subcutaneous tissue around its abdomen in preparation of fighting potential competitors for mates. Female Emboar also develop subcutaneous tissue, as well as creating androstenone in its urine and vaginal fluid to attract mates. Should the excess tissue of the Emboar go unused (a common occurrence when mating in captivity), the internal body temperature of Emboar will rise, causing the tissue to slowly dissolve at what appears to be no discomfort to the Emboar.
Contrary to their intimidating appearance and inherent preparation for battling for mates, only female Emboar are dominant during mating; male Emboar are exceptionally submissive, even when paired with Pokemon half their size. Because of this, trainers who mate with their male Emboar usually find that they must specifically instruct their partner to take any action besides simply accepting intercourse. One must be careful when mating with an Emboar to not come into contact with the Emboar's "beard" of fire, as this flame swells during copulation and can easily burn a careless mate.
-
Chesnaught
An exceptionally resilient final evolution of Chespin, the armored shell of a Chesnaught plays an interesting role in mating, both in the acquisition of mates and the actual copulation process itself. During mating season, Chesnaught use their tank-like bodies to fend off competitors for chosen mates, throwing themselves at their opponents at high velocities (some of the most intense battles for mates in the Pokemon kingdom come from two Chesnaught competing for the same mate). Once a mate has been acquired, if a Chesnaught is allowed it will lay on top of a mate and position their bodies to create a barrier from outside attacks. The Chesnaught will move very carefully to allow for proper intercourse without breaking the seal of the barrier. As the head of the Chesnaught is usually outside the barrier, the penis of a male Chesnaught is very long, and Chesnaught are able to control it enough to guide it to an orifice.
Tall trainers may have some difficulty mating with their Chesnaught, as Chesnaught express extreme resistance to mate unless their partner is fully protected by its body. Nevertheless, trainers who have had intercourse with their Chesnaught describe it as a truly unique experience. Mates of Chesnaught are expected to be mostly immobile due to the Chesnaught's body weighing down on them, but the Chesnaught's complete control over its penile movements resolves this limitation (to the enjoyment of the mate, as Chesnaught mates will often attest to). Like many Grass-type Pokemon, the semen and vaginal fluids of Chesnaught contain many beneficial proteins that are hard to come by otherwise, and some trainers have used their Chesnaught's fluids as a body lotion.

Snorlax
Known as one of the laziest Pokemon in existence, Snorlax are well known for caring for only two things: eating and sleeping. As such, it makes sense that these traits come into play when Snorlax mate. Seemingly unmotivated by any sort of innate desire to procreate, Snorlax do not seek out mates. Instead, they accidentally find mates when they are awake to find food. Snorlax mating is never intended by the Snorlax, it is often the more active mate who initiates copulation. Snorlax do have genitalia which respond to light stimulus, however these responses seem to be solely biological, as Snorlax never seem to even notice when they are mating. Even the way Snorlax mate with each other is indicative of their lazy nature: a male Snorlax searching for food may come across a female Snorlax sleeping near a source of food. Instead of simply moving around her, the male will attempt to reach over the female to reach the food, and during this moment the male Snorlax's penis will become erect, enter the female's vagina and ejaculate, all in a matter of moments. Snorlax lay eggs while they sleep and are rarely aware that they have done so, but to their credit they do not attempt to eat their own eggs after laying them.
Due to the size difference between humans and Snorlax, mating with a male can be quite difficult if not completely impossible. Their inherent laziness does allow determined Pokephiles to test to see if they can in fact mate with their Snorlax, but most find that the size difference is too great. Most (though not all) Pokephiles have concluded that mating with a Snorlax simply isn't worth it, as Snorlax show no interest in mating and do not appear to enjoy sex in the slightest. Even trainers who have copulated with female Snorlax say that it is not worthwhile because of how little feedback they receive from their "mate".

Gengar
One of the first Ghost-type Pokemon ever discovered, Gengar fits the spectral nature of the type quite nicely. It can, like most Ghost Pokemon, physically incorporeal, which is integral to how it mates with Pokemon in the wild. Gengar, upon finding a chosen mate, will become intangible and "enter" the body of a sleeping or unaware mate for the express purpose of transferring genetic material: males leave material, females take material. Female Gengar do not traditionally "lay" eggs as they do not appear to have any reproductive organs. Instead, some time after mating a Gengar will simply become intangible and leave behind an egg. How eggs develop inside Gengar is a mystery, as Gengar do not appear to have any sort of internal organs.
Due to the lack of genitalia and the unsettling way Gengar mate, it is not a popular choice among Pokephiles. Still, those who do mate with their Gengar claim that it is actually a very rewarding experience, and that Gengar mating with trainers behave differently. According to them, Gengar's incorporeal nature can be used to "possess" their trainer, resulting in trainers masturbating to pleasure both themselves and their Gengar. Nevertheless, trainers should proceed cautiously and allow Gengar to control this process, as extended physical contact with a Gengar can lead to irritation of the skin, as well as sleeplessness and nausea

Weavile
Like many Pokemon with strong pack mentalities, the mating habits of Weavile vary depending on how many of them there are in a single location. A Weavile by itself will approach a possible mate and pretend to be submissive, then immediately switch into dominance after the mates guard is lowered. Unruly mates who attempt to take back control are slashed by Weavile's exceptionally sharp claws until they give in (thus a mating between two Weavile more akin to a fight than anything else). A pack of Weavile, on the other hand, will stalk a potential mate for hours, then attack when their guard is down. Weavile work together to breed with their newfound mate: the rest of the pack holds the mate still while one Weavile breeds with it, and each Weavile switches out until every one of them have had their way with the mate. Due to the exceptionally cold climate Weavile usually live in, copulation periods are usually brief, sometimes only lasting four minutes (though warmer climates usually allow Weavile to last up to ten minutes longer), so pack breeding of Weavile tend to only last an hour or so.
Despite these rather brutal mating practices, many Pokephiles find the idea of mating with a Weavile attractive. As a general rule, however, mating with a single Weavile can be exceptionally difficult if one wishes to be the dominant partner, often requiring a near constant physical overpowering (uncomfortable as that might make some Pokephiles, Weavile do appear to still enjoy intercourse when being held down). It is heavily advised to only mate with one Weavile; pack mating rules apply to humans as well, and unless a trainer has total control over each Weavile involved, a trainer may find themselves overwhelmed and subject to the whims of their Weavile "pack".

Glaceon
A shy Ice-type evolution of Eevee, Glaceon are perhaps the most sexually timid of the Eevee line. While the specific mating characteristics are similar to other "Eeveelutions" (penile knot, swollen vaginal opening, etc.), Glaceon appear to be very reserved when choosing a mate, moving very slowly and waiting much longer than other Eevee forms to actually begin copulating. As with most Ice-types, Glaceon genitalia is rather cold to the touch, however this does not seem to deter mates in the slightest. When Glaceon climax, it is possible to see breath vapor from their mouths, even in extremely warm conditions. This is likely because of how Glaceon maintain their internal body temperatures, and thermal imaging shows that a Glaceon's internal body temperature drops significantly during climax, making the immediate area around Glaceon cold, and thus producing breath vapor.
Trainers inexperienced in mating with Ice types often ask if intercourse is not pleasurable due to the temperature differential between their Pokemon's genitalia and their own. Pokephiles who have mated with Ice types assure these newcomers that it is a comfortable coldness, one that presents a very light numbing sensation that does not detract from the experience whatsoever. As far as Glaceon specifically, male human mates of Glaceon report across the board that female Glaceon are the only evolution of Eevee that will not allow their partner to exit during orgasm, forcing the partner to ejaculate inside their Glaceon. While actual reproduction between Pokemon and humans is impossible, many Pokephiles believe the reason Glaceon force their mate to finish inside of them is due to the general warmth of their semen, claiming that having a warm liquid inside them further adds to their pleasure.

Vaporeon
The unusual semi-aquatic Water-type evolution of Eevee, Vaporeon often prefer to mate in water rather than dry land. The most sexually adventurous of all of Eevee's final forms, it is not uncommon for a Vaporeon to attempt oral or anal sex on mates in the wild (leading to some mixed results, as can be expected). Female Vaporeon vaginal tracts produce more lubricating mucus than any of the other "Eeveelutions", so many reproductive traits of male Pokemon such as penile knots are rendered ineffective for their intended use. Vaporeon are the only evolution of Eevee that appear to climax during the egg laying process, leading to one of Vaporeon's most interesting traits: upon climax, Vaporeon expel a small amount of cloudy liquid out of their genitalia immediately after climax. To the causal observer it would appear Vaporeon is urinating, however the liquid is in fact water expelled from the Vaporeon's internal water bladder (different from the urinary bladder, the water bladder holds water for use in battle, though the two are connected and can be used interchangeably if need be), tinged with a pheromone that is otherwise never seen from Vaporeon. The assumed purpose for this excretion is twofold: first, if done after egg laying, it signals to nearby Pokemon that Vaporeon is fertile. Second, if it is released during intercourse, it marks the Vaporeon's mate and makes it more desirable by many different kinds of Pokemon.
Because it is very open to different sexual positions, Vaporeon is rather sought after by Pokephiles. Humorously, the main advice experienced Pokephiles have for mating with a Vaporeon is to have several towels ready for cleanup, as Vaporeon is one of the "messiest" Pokemon during intercourse. Trainers who have made their Vaporeon orgasm have noted that the pheromone Vaporeon releases is rather sweet tasting, and many have opted to move to oral sex when they feel their Vaporeon is close to climaxing. Further, many Pokephiles have found that mating with a Vaporeon that is mostly submerged in water enhances the Vaporeon's enjoyment of intercourse significantly, and it is generally suggested to mate with a Vaporeon in a half-full bathtub or shallow pond for maximum effect.

Ho-oh
A monster known more through legend than fact, Ho-oh is revered by the people of Johto. Believed to have the power to raise the dead, very little is truly known about this Pokemon, as there are only a handful of firsthand encounters with this legendary Pokemon. Out of these encounters, only one account holds any significant value to the scientific community: a research journal written by Dr. Morihei Yamaguchi, who encountered Ho-oh during a hiking expedition on Mount Silver. Despite the legends that state that Ho-oh will only appear to trainers with pure hearts, and though no one will ever dispute that Dr. Yamaguchi was a good man, why Ho-oh chose to visit him at that moment of his life is unknown, for as Dr. Yamaguchi himself said, "I had not done anything significantly charitable during that time".
Dr. Yamaguchi's encounter with Ho-oh only lasted a few minutes, but three things of note happened in that brief period. First, Dr. Yamaguchi was able to examine Ho-oh in person, and was able to confirm varying theories regarding its physical makeup. According to Dr. Yamaguchi, Ho-oh does not appear to have any sort of reproductive organs (though he admitted later that he was unable to thoroughly investigate "that" area of Ho-oh), leading to its current classification of "Genderless". Second, Dr. Yamaguchi was given one of Ho-oh's wing feathers, which continues to be studied to this day for its unique prismatic properties. The third revelation is perhaps the only link one can even make regarding Ho-oh and mating. As told by Dr. Yamaguchi: "After it had graced me with one of its feathers, the mighty Ho-oh took me under its left wing and held me close. I couldn't see anything, but I felt so much during that time. I felt…pleasure, physical and emotional, stronger than anything I have ever felt before or since. I felt loved, peaceful, in a state of blissful nirvana that felt like it lasted for decades, even though it was only about a minute. Ho-oh released me and flew off over the horizon, and I just sat there, still lost in ecstasy." Dr. Yamaguchi retired from the scientific community shortly after this encounter.

Feraligatr
If one were to ask the people of Johto what the most ferocious Pokemon in the world is, many would likely respond with Feraligatr. Known for being absolutely merciless with opponents in battle, it should come as no surprise that Feraligatr have some of the most intense mating characteristics in the Pokemon kingdom. The male Feraligatr penis is conical, and has numerous raised bumps along the shaft. During mating, thin barbs made of keratin extend out of these bumps, piercing the vaginal wall and ensuring the mate cannot escape, as moving during this time is exceptionally painful. Perhaps as an evolutionary response to this, the reproductive tract of a female Feraligatr's cloaca is lined with a fatty tissue that holds no sensory receptors, allowing the female to escape if necessary. Both male and female Feraligatr attempt to be the dominant partner during intercourse, but with sufficient force they can become submissive. Feraligatr are very nurturing parents to their offspring, often refusing to leave their side until they can hunt for themselves.
The biological specifics of Feraligatr reproduction have made many new Pokephiles wary, particularly female Pokephiles. However, it has been discovered by trainers who desperately wished to mate with their male Feraligatr that the barbs lining its penis can be removed at no discomfort to the Pokemon. By arousing the Feraligatr and applying slight pressure to each of the protrusions, a trainer can release the barbs and use scissors or nail clippers to remove them. The barbs grow back after roughly two weeks, so sexually active Pokephiles may also consider surgically removing the base of the barbs, though this is most certainly the more expensive option. Mating with Feraligatr whose barbs have been shortened or removed is reportedly extremely pleasurable, as the protrusions act as natural bumps often found on sex toys.
-
Swampert
The final evolution of the well-liked Mudkip, Swampert is a strong but very gentle mate who often makes nests on beaches. Female Swampert have a cloaca, while males have a phallus that is hidden within a small opening in the body. Unusually, male Swampert release spermatophores that are placed on rocky outcroppings for females to find and use, and rarely does any actual penetration among Swampert couples happen. The existence of the phallus appears to be an evolutionary response to mating with other Pokemon, as very few Pokemon utilize the spermatophore system for mating. Both male and female Swampert are very protective of their eggs and will often attempt to take them to a nest they build (usually on a beach), even going so far as to fight their mate if they attempt to get in the way.
There is no physical danger to mating with a Swampert, as they are very respectful of their mates during copulation, especially if their mate is their trainer. The primary objection Pokephiles have raised with their Swampert is the deposit of spermatophores during intercourse. While certainly not harmful to humans, Swampert spermatophores do not tend to burst and release material until days after mating, which can lead to very uncomfortable situations if this happens at a social gathering. As such, some trainers have opted to teach their Swampert how to perform oral sex to avoid this issue entirely.
-
Infernape
The distinguished final evolution of Chimchar, Infernape are one of the few species of Pokemon that put on displays to attract mates. A male Infernape will spend days preparing for their display, eating as many Occa berries as they can find (which is rather difficult in the wild) to improve the quality and size of the flame on their heads. Female Infernape choose mates based on the size of this fire, though a lesser suitor can be chosen if they are able to defeat the chosen Infernape in combat. Infernape are very protective of their eggs and will often follow their offspring for several weeks after hatching to ensure they are safe. Unlike many Pokemon species that may produce many times throughout their lifetime, Infernape only reproduce once or twice in their entire lives, though they are another species of Pokemon that engage in intercourse for pleasure.
Trainers who wish to mate with their male Infernape must allow the Infernape to initiate, as it will become confused if propositioned by the trainer. This is fairly easy to do, as appealing to an Infernape's primal desire to mate is as simple as acting provocatively around them (many non-Pokephile trainers have reported that their Infernape attempted to woo them after the Infernape observed the trainer acting sexy for their significant other). Female Infernape will also have certain requirements met before she will allow mating to occur, although if the human initiating is the Infernape's trainer she will already be satisfied and will ready herself for copulation. There is no danger in mating with an Infernape, they do not mate for life and are very respectful of their partners.

Weavile

Nidoqueen
An all-female species evolved from female Nidoran, Nidoqueen are unique in that while they cannot breed, they can (and often do) engage in intercourse for pleasure. Unlike their male counterpart Nidoking, Nidoqueen can mate with a number of partners and never stay with one (albeit mostly due to many species moving on from mating). However, if a Nidoqueen mates with the same partner repeatedly, her behavior will change, and she will be mated to that partner for life. Neither Nidoking nor Nidoqueen have any particular biological defense against unwanted partners; Nidoqueen's primary defense is her tail, which she will use to incapacitate any Pokemon she does not wish to copulate with. Despite being unable to produce eggs on her own, Nidoqueen is very protective of any Pokemon she considers her children, even if they are not from the same egg group.
Nidoqueen are more likely to mate with trainers who raised them from birth than they are trainers who caught them when they were Nidorina. The only major danger to mating with a Nidoqueen are the spikes on their back, which produce paralytic toxins that, while non-fatal, will leave the victim vulnerable to outside attacks. Mentioned before, if a trainer mates with their Nidoqueen repeatedly (an almost assurance, as Nidoqueen have a low barrier to multiple mating), the Nidoqueen will consider the trainer its mate for life. Nidoqueen are in the Depressive category of infidelity response, and will spend days brooding and refusing contact from their trainer. Nidoqueen eventually recover and begin to mate again, but after this point they will never choose the trainer who betrayed them.

Mawile
Easily recognizable by the giant jaws emerging from the back of its head, the mating process for female Mawile is partly based around this second mouth, which will wrap around a male partner's genitalia to stimulate it and release material. Due to Mawile's relatively small size, it is difficult for them to fully receive genetic material from larger mates. To compensate for this, Mawile's second mouth is able to accept genetic material and transport it to the uterus for egg development. Mawile appear to enjoy mating with both it's proper genitalia and its second mouth. Males do not share this trait, but sometimes do use their second mouth to pleasure mates. Though Mawile possess the strength to forcibly take genetic material from a mate this way, they are often the submissive partner and will rarely take charge during mating. Mawile are protective of their eggs, and will often carry them in their second mouths for warmth and protection.
While the appearance of Mawile's second mouth is somewhat off-putting for new Pokephiles, Mawile is actually a very gentle mate and readily accepts the advances of their trainers. Mawile's body size is unique for humans in that they are large enough for straightforward masturbation, but the average human penis is large enough for a satisfactory copulation with Mawile's second mouth. Experienced trainers sometimes even use both, using their mouth or hands to pleasure Mawile's genitalia while the second mouth is used to pleasure its human mate. Mawile do not mate for life.

Nidoking
The all-male counterpart to Nidoqueen, Nidoking have the ability to mate to procreate, and therefore mate for life with only one partner they choose. Nidoking do not have any biological advantages for mating: it has a conical phallus and uses its impressive strength to hold partners down to mate and relies on its thick skin to protect it from mates fighting back. Interestingly enough, if given the option Nidoking will choose to mate with Nidoqueen instead of any other Pokemon, even though Nidoqueen are unable to create eggs. While Nidoking do seem to enjoy intercourse, they do not choose to mate for pleasure, and will not initiate copulation for any reason other than reproduction (although they will oblige a mate wishing to mate for pleasure).
Unlike Nidoqueen, Nidoking are far less likely to mate with their trainers, and will refuse sexual congress without having mated for life first. Some trainers opt to work around this by applying Nidoqueen pheromones to their genitalia, which almost guarantees a response from Nidoking. Nidoking are very dominant, controlling partners, so it is best for trainers to simply allow their Nidoking to be in control during intercourse (they will never hurt their mates intentionally). Nidoking are in the Aggressive category of infidelity response, but unusually enough they are one of the few Pokemon who do not attack their mate upon betrayal. Instead, Nidoking use the pheromone left behind to find the Pokemon that their partner mated with, and attack it upon discovery. Though they will continue to mate with their partner even after betrayal, Nidoking do not ever forgive a Pokemon that has bred with their mate, so Pokephiles are advised to not mate with another Pokemon on their team if they have mated with their Nidoking.

Floatzel
Found primarily near riverbanks and streams, Floatzel copulation in the wild often happens in the water. The yellow floatation sac around the Floatzel's neck keeps their head above water during mating, which usually lasts only a minute or so. Interestingly, if given the option, most Floatzel will position themselves opposite the flow of water, and Floatzel who do so appear to enjoy copulation much more than those who do not. Female Floatzel build nests out of mud on riverbanks and look after their offspring for days after hatching, while male Floatzel have very little interaction with their eggs, and many times a female will attack the male parent of her offspring if they come too close to their eggs.
For trainers wishing to copulate with their Floatzel, it is often recommended to caress the teardrop shaped spot on its lower belly, as Floatzel appear to be very sensitive there and will slowly but surely become aroused and ready to mate. If a trainer can manage it, mating in a pool with a water jet is also recommended, as it will both give Floatzel increased pleasure and make them more likely to mate with the trainer in the future. On the subject of water jets, Floatzel are unusual in that they are one of the only species of Pokemon to masturbate: both male and female Floatzel will align their genitalia against a pool's water jet, and will climax multiple times before moving away (this is why some public swimming pools forbid Floatzel in the pool, requiring them to stay in their Poke Ball).

Leavanny
One of the more popular Bug-type Pokemon, Leavanny is in a very small category of Pokemon species that are parthenogenic, meaning they do not require a mate to lay eggs. Leavanny are facultative parthenogens and can accept genetic material from a compatible mate, however it is not required and Leavanny rarely go out of their way to seek mates. Leavanny offspring born through parthenogenesis are genetic duplicates of their mother, and eggs are laid out of a small opening near the entrance near the back of its abdomen. Male Leavanny, as a response to this, leave genetic material on leaves for female Leavanny to eat, resulting in consumption and utilization of their material. This oral consumption is also how other compatible Pokemon mate with Leavanny.
Due in part to the nature of their reproductive process, Leavanny rarely actively choose trainers as mates. Normal sexual techniques are insufficient, and for many years it seemed as though Leavanny simply had no interest in humans. However, recently a group of Pokephiles discovered something unique about Leavanny: Leavanny will choose a mate if said mate provides adequate assistance rearing young. Leavanny are well known for their nurturing nature, providing warmth and protective clothing for their young, so if a trainer provides equal or greater assistance to young (finding food, playing with it, etc.), a Leavanny will actively choose to mate with their trainer, often directly engaging partner genitalia with their mouths. This is the only way for humans to mate with their Leavanny, as the reproductive canal opening is far too small for penetration, and males do not have a phallus.

Latias
One half of the fabled "Eon Duo" of Hoenn, Latias are the all-female counterpart to Latios. As with most "legendary" Pokemon, very few firsthand accounts of Latias exist, most of which are at least several decades old. The exact relationship Latias has with Latios is hotly debated in the scientific community: some believe Latias and Latios are "designated mates" in that they will only mate with each other, while others believe that they are too biologically similar to mate and that breeding between the two would be analogous to a human brother and sister procreating. Compounding this debate is an ancient carving of Latios and Latias, wherein Latias is flying beneath very closely to Latios upside-down, and a marking that could indicate a phallus connects them. The passage of time has faded the carving, so it is unclear as to whether or not it is a visual account of Latios/Latias mating.
Curiously, several accounts of encounters with Latias raise an interesting possibility: that Latias regularly choose to copulate with humans. In these accounts, a mysterious woman approaches the storyteller and leads them to a secluded area in the forest, whereupon they have sex. In the immediate aftermath, the mysterious woman would leave, and the storyteller would hear the shrill cry of a Latias (some accounts go so far as to say that they actually see a Latias flying away in the sky). While this may be coincidence, some descriptions of the woman include elements that appear very similar to Latias, most notably the golden color of the woman's eyes.
-
Latios
The other half of Hoenn's "Eon Duo", Latios are the all-male counterpart to Latias. There are fewer firsthand accounts regarding Latias than there are Latios, though of these accounts more of them involve direct contact with Latios itself, as opposed to Latias which usually take the form of observing a Latias after coitus with a mysterious woman believed to be a shapeshifted Latias. Many accounts of Latios involve it appearing to help save the storyteller's life by appearing to them, projecting an image of a nearby threat into their minds, then leaving (though some accounts report that Latios would project human speech into their heads to explain how to escape, though there is no solid evidence to suggest that Latios can actually communicate in human language).
Pokephiles of Hoenn have a unique account of incidents involving Latios, recorded only a century prior. The account is of a male Latios mating with a woman in a secluded grove, observed purely on accident by two male hikers out on a midnight walk. According to the hikers, the Latios and the woman copulated for several minutes until one of the hikers accidentally coughed, at which point the Latios fled through the sky and the woman disappeared into the forest. Initially treated as a hoax, the hikers were able to convince skeptics by producing a blue feather fallen from the fleeing Latios (and thus providing more insight into the biological nature of Latios in the process). However, some scientists doubt the claim that it was a human woman, and have suggested that it was a shapeshifted Latias. The original account did not go into detail as to the specific attributes of the woman (as one of the hikers described "it was too dark to make out who it was, we could only tell that it was a woman"), so it is unclear whether or not this theory is sound.

Lilligant
A beautifully delicate Pokemon popular with celebrities, Lilligant are an all-female species that utilize the flower on their heads for mating. When a Lilligant is ready to mate, the leaves composing its "dress" expand outward, revealing slender legs and a vagina. During this time, the flower on Lilligant's head emits a powerful pheromone to attract potential mates. After mating, the leaves around Lilligant's waist contract once again to prevent unwanted sexual contact while the egg develops. Lilligant lay its egg a week after mating, after which it can be several months before it is ready to mate again. Lilligant who breed frequently often lose the ability to fully close their leaves, making it far easier for potential mates to breed with them. Lilligant who copulate with the same mate repeatedly grow attached to their mate, and will sometimes use the flower on its head to spray its mate with a sweet scent. It is unclear why it does this, as Lilligant never mate for life and no not appear phased if a mate who has been sprayed breeds with another Pokemon.
The pheromones Lilligant release for mating are just as effective on humans as they are on Pokemon, and there are at least a couple of stories of trainers who are normally against Pokephilia mating with their Lilligant because of these pheromones (thankfully, none of these stories end in tragedy, as each of these stories ends with the trainer coming to accept Pokephilia and keeping their Lilligant). The vaginal fluid of Lilligant also contain these pheromones, and has been sold to Pokephiles as an aid for raising their Pokemon's interest (although this pheromone is at its most effective when used to attract Pokemon in the Grass egg group). Lilligant are gentile and submissive during mating, and there are no inherent dangers to mating with a Lilligant.

Luxray
A Electric-type species known for its impressive eyesight, Luxray are the final evolved form of Shinx. Like many Pokemon species, Luxray breed most effectively with other Luxray, due in no small part to their mechanisms for mating. During mating season, female Luxray will breed with several partners, though they may never actually procreate as their reproductive system produce very few embryo unstimulated. However, during mating with a male Luxray (and a select few other Electric Pokemon), this is mitigated by the presence of penile spines on the male's phallus that embed themselves in the vaginal wall. After the male has ejaculated, its body produces an electrical shock that transfers through the spikes and along the vaginal wall to the female's uterus, resulting in almost immediate ovulation.
While it is true that the penile spikes of male Luxray are not as long as other Pokemon species and that they do not cause nearly as much damage to human vaginal canals, many trainers who mate with their Luxray still clip or surgically remove their Luxray's barbs as a precaution (though this is almost a requirement for trainers wishing to engage in anal sex with their Luxray, as the barbs will cause significant damage to the anus). As far as the electrical shock that male Luxray produce upon climax, human trainers need not worry as the shock is not nearly strong enough to damage internal organs. In fact, many trainers have found the shock to be extremely pleasurable, and will sometimes attempt to get their Luxray to climax multiple times to produce multiple shocks. Female Luxray do not produce electrical shocks upon climax, though many trainers agree that the vaginal canal vibrates slightly after orgasm, though this has not been confirmed by researchers.

Meowstic
The extraordinarily powerful Psychic evolution of Espurr, the mating habits of Meowstic rely on their Psychic abilities, but the specific practices are extremely different depending on gender, moreso than most Pokemon. Male Meowstic do not seek out mates, and instead use their psychic abilities to "call out" for a mate. When a mate has responded, the Meowstic will lie on its back and allow the mate to have their way with it. During mating, male Meowstic are very submissive and somewhat unusually, the penile shaft of Meowstic do not have barbs. Conversely, female Meowstic are exceptionally dominant in both looking for mates and during copulation. Female Meowstic use their psychic abilities to forcibly draw partners to her, then pin them down and mount them. Mates who attempt to escape are met with barbs that extend from the vaginal wall, trapping the penis until it has ejaculated. It is not uncommon for female Meowstic to use their psychic powers to force a mate to continue copulating even after ejaculation, until the female herself climaxes.
As mating with a male Meowstic is very easy due to their lack of resistance, the primary concern is how to mate with a female Meowstic. Many trainers have tried and failed to control their Meowstic during intercourse, only to submit to a combination of barbs and psychic influence. Be warned, trainers who have their Meowstic's barbs surgically removed will be subject to doubly intense psychic attacks from their Meowstic to compensate. A strong mind prepared for such attacks can overcome the influence of a female Meowstic, but unlike most Pokemon species, females despise being dominated and will often resent mates who do so. As many trainers enjoy being the dominant partner, female Meowstic tread a dangerous line between "very difficult" and "impossible" for most Pokephiles, while male Meowstic are highly regarded in most Pokephile circles.

Noivern
Given the species as a whole tends to be extremely combative and standoffish, one could be forgiven for thinking that Noivern have very aggressive mating behavior. In truth, however, Noivern are very subdued when seeking mates. Males attract females by coating their bodies with a mixture of sweet fruit juices and their own saliva, which has potent pheromones that combine with the aroma of the fruit to create an appealing scent for mates. When a female comes to a Noivern, the male holds still as the female investigates his aroma. If she approves, she will lick his face, and the two will find a dark area to copulate (usually a cavern, though abandoned buildings are common for Noivern closer to civilization.). Dominance in Noivern intercourse varies between partners, though an easy way to tell who is in control is by the Noivern's wings: whichever partner's wings are on the outside of the coupling (therein embracing their partner) is the dominant mate.
Many Pokephiles have found that mimicking the natural habits of Noivern is a much easier way to woo a mate than being left to one's own devices. As fruit plays a key role in the courting process, many trainers have found that utilizing sweet fruit like Salac Berries are most effective in gaining their female Noivern's attention, as the overpowering sweet scent seems to eliminate the need for Noivern saliva (Noivern saliva is available for purchase, however most vendors will only sell to licensed Pokemon breeders as the saliva is difficult to obtain even for experienced Noivern handlers). Fruit is also useful for attracting male Noivern, and offering a male Noivern fruit that is both sweet and spicy is most effective (male Noivern respond to overpowering sweetness the same way females do, and spicy fruits energize Noivern, so the combination of two flavors results in an energetic, aroused Noivern). Trainers may also use Tropius bananas, which are a natural aphrodisiac, however going this route must be done correctly as immature Tropius bananas produce severe psychotropic effects and can seriously harm a Pokemon unprepared for such a thing. As it has been reported, there is no overt danger with mating with a Noivern.

Cryogonal
An unusual glacial rarity of the Pokemon kingdom, Cryogonal reproduce unlike any other Pokemon. Completely made of ice, Cryogonal are nonetheless somehow able to control their body temperatures and heat themselves up, turning themselves into steam (it is unclear whether or not Cryogonal are still technically alive during this process, though they do appear to retain memories of trainers after solidifying, so it seems likely). Near the end of a Cryogonal's life cycle (indicated by the Cryogonal "melting", creating puddles of water wherever it goes that the Cryogonal cannot seem to reabsorb), a Cryogonal will use what remains of its energy to levitate as high as it can, then turn itself into steam and enter the atmosphere. When a snow cloud enters the area, a Cryogonal will emerge from the cloud, completely intact. Though it is unclear what happens during this process, it is theorized that the molecular structure of the original Cryogonal bonds with the water particles of the snow cloud (though if this is the case, it raises the question of whether or not the new Cryogonal is the original Cryogonal "reborn" or offspring).
There is one biological curiosity to Cryogonal that completely baffle scientists, to the point that no logical theory seems to make sense regarding it: in battle, Cryogonal is able to use the move "Attract". Among other Pokemon, Attract is used as a gender-specific tactic to prevent opposite gender Pokemon from attacking, releasing pseudo-pheromone multicellular eukaryotes to trick the opposing Pokemon into believing that its opponent is actually its mate. However, extensive tests have shown that Cryogonal, being genderless, should not be able to use this particular move, and does indeed do nothing when used by a Cryogonal. A few imaginative Pokephiles have suggested that Cryogonal can use this to indeed lure a mate, claiming that Cryogonal's evaporation process is analogous to climax in traditional mating species and that Cryogonal turn to steam when a "mate" is near them. There is nothing to indicate this is the case, however, so it remains a mystery.

Volcarona
Supposedly responsible for saving countless Pokemon from a deep blizzard in days long past by releasing flames from the scales on its wings, it comes as no surprise that Volcarona rely on their wings for mating. Female Volcarona are sexually passive when attracting mates, releasing pheromones from the black spots on their wings that are carried by the wind and detected by the chemoreceptors located on the male Volcarana's horn-like antennae. The male engages the female using a thin genital tube (normally hidden within an internal cavity) that is inserted into the female's reproductive canal, releasing genetic material in a matter of minutes. Volcarona do not appear to "enjoy" intercourse like many other Pokemon, however occasionally two partners will copulate for several minutes longer than usual, and during this time its wings will glow red and burn hot. Volcarona lay their eggs in hollow trees and moves on, leaving the newborn Larvesta to fend for itself.
Volcarona are very lax when it comes to human mating, neither rejecting nor openly accepting a trainer's sexual advances. However, a female Volcarona may position itself to allow its human mate to reach deeper into its reproductive canal. Male Volcarona are much less well received, as many female trainers have commented that the reproductive tube of Volcarona feels unpleasant during intercourse. Caution must be taken if mating with a Volcarona lasts longer than a minute or so, as their wings become very hot to the touch and can easily burn flesh if one is not careful.

Nidoqueen
An all-female species evolved from female Nidoran, Nidoqueen are unique in that while they cannot breed, they can (and often do) engage in intercourse for pleasure.
This is the only way for humans to mate with their Leavanny, as the reproductive canal opening is far too small for penetration, and males do not have a phallus.

Pokemon Mating Habits 1
Posted 10 years agoBecause I don't want people to have to download this shit, here's some Pokemon mating habits I wrote.
-
Cinccino
Produced by introducing a Shiny Stone to a Minccino, Cinccino shares many mating characteristics with its pre-evolutionary form. While Cinccino are predominantly female, male Cinccino exist and have adopted the "breeding plug" tactic when mating. A male Cinccino, after depositing its genetic material, will secrete a thick goo that quickly hardens into a plug that stops off the orifice to prevent any spillage of semen. While this plug is a temporary measure that is easily expelled from the body, it nevertheless accomplishes its purpose and keeps its semen in the orifice (in other Cinccino, that is. The plug will do nothing to larger mates). Cinccino mate quickly and do not mate for life, though they are very protective of their eggs after they are laid.
Due to the size difference between humans and Cinccino, traditional mating with females of the species is impossible. However, like with many Pokemon too small to penetrate, oral sex and caressing the vaginal slit with one's fingers has proven to be very effective, particularly with Cinccino. Often times Cinccino will spend hours "mating" with their trainer, climaxing numerous times throughout the process (a far cry from their mating with other Pokemon, wherein climax only happens once or twice). While it is possible for male Cinccino to traditionally mate, the difference in size has lead to the overall experience being "unsatisfying", and combined with the excretion of the mating plug, many trainers simply forgo standard mating practices and caress their Cinccino's penis with fingers or tongue.

Zangoose
Best known for their outright hatred of Seviper, Zangoose are nevertheless exceptionally popular among young female trainers in the Hoenn region for their "cuddly" appearance and natural protective urges towards their trainer. This protectiveness stems from how Zangoose behave in the wild with their mates. Upon mating, male Zangoose guard their mates fiercely against any Pokemon (or human, for that matter) that tries to come near. Somewhat ironically, this behavior is only exhibited by the males; after the egg is laid, female Zangoose will readily mate with any Pokemon that comes along, and fights between multiple male Zangoose over one female are all too common in the wild. Upon hatching, male Zangoose take it upon themselves to ensure the newborn manages to survive a week, after which they are mature enough to fend for themselves. Zangoose families tend to stick close together, though there is little tenderness between mother and offspring; generally speaking, female Zangoose are not above attacking their own young if they get in the way of food, and father Zangoose usually have to protect the offspring from the mother.
As far as human/Zangoose relations go, trainers will have wildly different experiences with their Zangoose depending on the gender of the Zangoose. Trainers mating with female Zangoose will find their partner is rather lax and will gladly allow for multiple partners, and they are not overly attached to their mates. Mating with a male Zangoose, on the other hand, becomes quite a challenge after the initial copulation. As mentioned above, male Zangoose are extremely protective of their mates, and this is one trait that cannot simply be ordered out of them. Zangoose will repel any and all intruders who come near their mates, which can be tiring and even embarrassing among friends and family if the trainer in question is a closet Pokephile. A temporary stopgap is simply storing the Zangoose in its Poke Ball, however it will continue to guard the trainer regardless of how much time has passed. The only surefire way to end a Zangoose's protection is to simply wait it out. Once two weeks have passed, the natural inclination to guard their mate will fade, and the Zangoose will return to normal.

Zoroark
The infamous trickster Pokemon, Zoroark have surprisingly mundane mating habits in the wild. Zoroark mate for life, and are very protective of their offspring. They have traditional mammalian genitalia, although unusually they do not produce "knots" upon arousal. Despite their classification as a Dark Pokemon, Zoroark are very loving mates, although their mating interactions with humans are wildly different than their interactions with other Pokemon. If a human expresses a desire to mate with a Zoroark, the Zoroark will create a large-scale illusion for the human to navigate. The exact nature of the illusion varies: everything from forests and castles to ancient battlegrounds have been reported, and there does not appear to be a pattern to the creations. Zoroark then find a place to hide in this illusion, and expect their suitor to find them, proving that they are strong and willing to fight for their Zoroark.
If the trainer fails, the Zoroark will not accept another offer, and will outright refuse to mate with the human. If the trainer succeeds, the Zoroark will become submissive and accept their trainer's advances. Lifelong mates of Zoroark have reported that Zoroark will often use its illusionary abilities to create elaborate sexual fantasies at the trainer's behest. However, it must also be noted that Zoroark are in the Aggressive category of infidelity response, and will not hesitate to attack their former mate's psyche with intense illusions before abandoning them, so (as is true with most Pokemon that mate for life) one must be cautious when mating with a Zoroark.

Machoke
Known as one of the strongest Pokemon in the world, Machoke is one of the more promiscuous Pokemon in the wild, mating with more male and female Pokemon than most other Pokemon in the Human-Like egg group. They do not seem to discriminate by gender, as mating for Machoke seems to be less about procreation and more about proving its own strength. As such, mating sessions with Machoke are more analogous to wrestling matches than they are to traditional intercourse. The only delicate process of Machoke mating habits is the removal of their limiter belts (which, despite fanciful reports of Machoke becoming "all powerful" after removing their belts, are more ornamental than functional). Machoke only seem to settle down when they find a partner that provides them with a good fight, although Machoke are not particularly good parents, as females that lay eggs tend to abandon their eggs as soon as they are laid.
As mentioned before, Machoke seek challenge when confronted with a mate, although they will gladly mate with a human if so prompted. Trainers wishing to mate with their Machoke must exercise extreme caution, as Machoke do not hold back any of their strength, and it is entirely possible to sustain extreme injury if the Machoke feels that it is being challenged. Many Pokephiles who mate with their Machoke prefer to express submission early on to prevent injury. However, some Pokephiles experimenting with mating with multiple Pokemon at once have claimed that Machoke quite enjoy being dominated, becoming exceptionally affectionate after mating. Further research into this quirk is ongoing.

Diglett
One of the more common Pokemon in the world, Diglett are nevertheless one of the most difficult Pokemon to observe for study. Even with mates, Diglett are exceptionally skittish, and attempting to "dig up" the Diglett have consistently resulted in complete failure. As such, very little is known about the specifics of reproduction. Male Diglett, when presented with a mate, use their impressive digging abilities to dig a waist-deep hole for their mate. The mate enters the hole, and the Diglett disappears, presumably depositing its seed into the mate. Female Diglett, on the other hand, simply dig a slightly larger hole around themselves and wait for a mate to ejaculate into the hole, wherein the material seeps down to where the Diglett presumably catches it and mixes it with her own (again, an exceptionally inexact description due to lack of data). After a female has mated, an egg emerges from the ground near the Diglett a day or so later.
Normally this is where the data on Diglett mating would come to an end, but here the Pokephile community has revealed another interesting quirk regarding Diglett. While traditional mating with Diglett is impossible due to both its skittish nature and its extreme size difference, some determined Pokephiles have discovered that it is possible to at least give their Diglett pleasure (to a point). The skin of a Diglett is naturally thin and sensitive, and trainers who have earned the trust of a Diglett to become its mate have learned that a Diglett will allow it's mate to caress its skin roughly five inches below the surface. Any further, and the Diglett flees. Gentle caressing of this area results in the Diglett expressing extreme pleasure, and a one Pokephile even reported that their female Diglett mate allowed them to go even further down, reaching what they believed was a vaginal slit. However, as this has not been recreated in any capacity, this finding is suspect.

Absol
A much-reviled Pokemon due to old stigmas based out of misinformation and ignorance, Absol have slowly lost the "doom bringer" paranoia that surrounded the species for decades, thus giving researchers the opportunity to study the mating habits of the Pokemon. Absol are exceptionally picky when it comes to picking a mate: though they are in the Field egg group and can mate with a great number of Pokemon, trainers attempting to get their Absol to copulate with any Pokemon other than another Absol (or a Ditto) will run into many frustrations. This is amplified tenfold if a trainer wishes to mate with an Absol themselves, as Absol have a deep-rooted distrust of humans (likely due to the persecution they faced in the past) that takes weeks if not months of constant work to overcome. Trainers who overcome this hurdle will find that Absol are surprisingly submissive when mating, often taking care not to intentionally harm their mate.
Absol mate for life, and are somewhere between the Adaptive and Aggressive category of infidelity response. If Absol finds you have copulated with another Pokemon, they will not become overly aggressive, but they will not simply accept other Pokemon into the "monogamous" relationship either. Absol will instead take any opportunity it can to simply abandon their trainer to return to their home before being captured. Trainers who attempt to keep their Absol will find that they are essentially fighting a losing battle; in the most extreme cases, a jilted Absol will destroy its Poke Ball, severing the ties with its trainer permanently. It is not recommended to try to recapture the Absol at this point; they will simply destroy their Poke Balls. Absol will never directly attack their former trainer (unless said trainer physically assaults them), but it will never stay with its trainer if it has been betrayed.

Sylveon
The most recent discovery in the ever-growing evolutionary library of Eevee, Sylveon has become something of a "poster Pokemon" for Pokephilia, and it's not very hard to see why. Sylveon evolves from Eevee after an Eevee produces consistently high levels of dopamine and seratonin, two of the chemicals released by the brain during a physical and/or emotional attraction to another. Research has shown that Sylveon produce all-time highs of these two chemicals when they are around their trainer, and combined with the sheer amount of affectionate behavior shown by Sylveon, it is believed within the Pokephile community that Sylveon will only become Sylveon when they are truly in love with their trainer (a view not readily shared by the scientific community). Support for this theory (or perhaps coincidence) comes from the mating habits of Sylveon: left on their own, they will not mate with another Pokemon. However, if their trainer instructs them to mate with another Pokemon, they will do so without hesitation.
When a Sylveon mates with their trainer, their behavior is significantly different than with any other mate. Normally, Sylveon copulate with the same behavior that other "Eeveelutions" do: the male's penis engorges to form a "knot" that prevents spillage of semen, while female vaginal tracts become suitably lubricated, and the mating occurs rather quickly. However, if a trainer and their Sylveon mate, Sylveon move much slower and much more carefully. Male Sylveon knots do expand during this time, but they do not become large enough to get caught in a given orifice, and female Sylveon produce an increased amount of lubrication. In addition to this, Sylveon prefer to lie on their back during copulation with their trainer (as opposed to standing on their hind legs), and Sylveon wrap their "ribbons" loosely around their trainer's neck, emitting a pheromone that causes the human brain to generate more dopamine and seratonin. Sylveon do not mate for life, and they are still willing to mate with other Pokemon after they copulate with their trainer.

Lapras
One of the most gentle Pokemon in existence, the docility of Lapras is both a blessing and a curse, particularly when it comes to mating. Lapras mate for life, but unlike most Pokemon that mate for life, Lapras chooses their mate before intercourse, and it is very difficult for a Lapras to choose another mate once a mate has been initially chosen. Because of this, combined with the generally more aggressive nature of mating in the wild, Lapras reproduction rates are surprisingly small. Nevertheless, female Lapras are very nurturing mothers, and in the wild they will lay their eggs on a beach and stay by their side until they hatch. During this time, they primarily depend on their mates to protect them from predators, and Lapras tend to spend their time nurturing their egg, singing to it and keeping it warm. Male Lapras often attempt to do the same, providing protection for their mate by ferrying them and the egg on their back and fending off predators (this is perhaps the only time a Lapras will ever become truly aggressive).
Mating with a Lapras has been reported to be an intensely intimate experience, possibly one of the most intimate of all Pokemon. During intercourse, Lapras hold their partners close and move gently, allowing the partner to have complete control. Lapras match their body rhythms to their partner, so when a partner is close to ejaculating, Lapras tightens its grip on its mate and climaxes simultaneously. Trainers who have gone through this process reported surprise that their Lapras cries upon climax; this is normal and is indicative of their happiness. Lapras are in the Depressive category of infidelity response (as opposed to Aggressive and Adaptive), and Lapras who find that their chosen mate has copulated with another Pokemon often enter an extreme state of depression, refusing to move, fight and even eat. Though this behavior is similar to what Lapras does when a mate dies, in that instance Lapras eventually recovers (though does not actively seek a new mate), whereas in this instance Lapras do not ever seem to recover, often dying of starvation if they are not brought to medical attention. This is by far one of the most grievous sins in the Pokephile community, and encountering such an individual is one of the few times a community will come together to report the perpetrator for Pokemon abuse.
-
Ditto
A scientific enigma that continues to baffle biologists to this day, Ditto is truly unlike any other Pokemon in existence. Completely genderless, it is able to breed with every Pokemon that can breed, yet the exact reasoning as to how it can do so is still shrouded in mystery. Once Ditto transform, their biological makeup is exactly the same as the Pokemon they copy, so research into the precise biology for Ditto during mating is next to impossible to determine for sure. There are theories that suggest that Ditto are able to keep parts of themselves permanently transformed, and that the genetic material that is shared during mating is technically Ditto but still functions the same as the real material. However, nothing is certain when it comes to Ditto.
Ditto are among the most simple minded of Pokemon, understanding only the most basic of interactions with their trainers. To some Pokephiles, this is a gift, as there is no inferred judgement from their partner, and Ditto have the ability to transform into anything, so it can seem like the perfect casual sex partner. However, a surprising amount of Pokephiles dislike the idea of mating with a Ditto, claiming that it is "shallow", or that it makes them feel uncomfortable to "take advantage of a simple-minded Pokemon". Despite the rumors circulating about it, it is impossible to get a Ditto pregnant, as human genetic material is slightly too complex for Ditto to process (not to mention that it would require several months of continuous transformation, which even the hardiest of Ditto cannot accomplish). As far as reproduction of the Ditto species itself, it is theorized that Ditto actually undergo division on a cellular level, however this has not been observed in either nature or captivity.
-
Blaziken
The final evolved form of the Torchic line, the mating habits of Blaziken are relatively standard: both males and females have cloaca, and males also have a phallus to deposit genetic material into the female. Like many Pokemon with cloaca, Blaziken have numerous sensory receptors in this orifice, and trainers who have mated with their Blaziken report that it is virtually indistinguishable from a traditional mammalian vagina. Blaziken, like many Fire-type Pokemon, produce heat from this area that trainers who have mated with their Blaziken have found very pleasant. The behavior of Blaziken is surprisingly straightforward: they are generally well behaved and do not attempt to subdue or control their partners during intercourse. Male Blaziken have been described as "tender lovers", responding very well to the physical signals they receive from their mates.
Trainers who engage in intercourse with their Blaziken must be warned, however: Blaziken mate for life. If you have sex with your Blaziken, it will consider you its life mate, so if you are a casual practitioner of Pokephilia, mating with a Blaziken is not recommended. Besides the general negative stigma of "breaking your Pokemon's heart", Blaziken are in the Aggressive category of infidelity response (as opposed to Depressive and Adaptive). If you mate with another Pokemon after mating with Blaziken and it finds out (which is easier than one might think, as most Pokemon leave trace pheromones on their partners after mating that most other Pokemon can detect), it will become exceedingly aggressive and moody, lashing out at its trainer and generally being unresponsive to most commands. Further pressing of a jilted Blaziken can result in physical violence. Blaziken in this state generally do not ever recover, and many trainers have had to either release or trade their Blaziken. Again, while the overactive hormones of the human body can lead to making a mistake, revealing that you have "cheated" on your Blaziken (or any Pokemon that mates for life, for that matter) is one of the major taboos of the Pokephilia world, and many who practice Pokephilia will respond with hostility and rejection. Tread lightly.

Braixen
One of the newest species to be heavily studied by researchers, Braixen (as well as its pre-evolution Fennekin and it's fully evolved form Delphox) are unique in their general sexual behavior, particularly with trainers. Braixen, Fennekin and Delphox are all rather assertive when it comes to mating, often initiating as early as a week after hatching (trainers raising Fennekin have commented at the discomfort of their Fennekin's obvious sexual fowardness). The reason for this inbred behavior may be linked to the gender ratio of the species, as only 13% of all Fennekin are born female (roughly speaking). As such, Fennekin and its line are in the "predatory" sexual group of Pokemon, more often being the source of genetic material than carrying eggs. But what of mating with Braixen specifically? Trainers who have accepted the advances of their Braixen have found unique challenges to the mating habits (it should be noted that Braixen and Fennekin will only mate if they are the initiators; a trainer being sexually forward with them will often have no effect).
Braixen, unlike its later form Delphox, do not create psychic links with their mate, so communicating what is and is not acceptable is much tougher. This, in combination with Braixen's general immaturity (Braixen have been compared to overeager teenagers by casual practitioners) can create some embarrassing situations during sex. The most infamous example is that of the stick Braixen carries: during sex, Braixen may attempt to insert its stick into unwanted parts of their mate, which many trainers have found uncomfortable (although a few have found this behavior erotic, so it is up to the individual as to whether or not this is desirable). Some Braixen also hit their mate with their stick, which can be rather painful and lead to marks on the skin. Stopping these behaviors is as simple as telling your Braixen "no" when it begins (for all their playfulness, Braixen are still intelligent creatures and will not intentionally hurt their mate without good reason). DO NOT, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE, TAKE YOUR BRAIXEN'S STICK AWAY FROM IT. Braixen are very attached to their sticks, and will become exceptionally aggressive and attack if forcefully separated. Braixen share similar traits with other Fire-type Pokemon, and their genitalia have been noted as having a "pleasant warmth" to them.
-
Lopunny
Classified in both the Field and Human-Like egg groups, the breeding capabilities of Lopunny are quite impressive. Lopunny achieve sexual maturity immediately after evolution, and since Buneary require only a consistently high level of dopamine production to evolve, it is not uncommon to see sexually active Lopunny within two days of hatching. Female Lopunny ovulate much quicker than other Field-group Pokemon, producing viable eggs during copulation and laying said eggs within a day of fertilization. It is to be noted that both male and female Lopunny develop exceptionally strong bonds to their trainers (due in part to the requirements for evolution), and Lopunny wishing to mate with their trainers is not an uncommon occurrence, regardless of gender. Should a trainer wish to engage in sexual intercourse with their Lopunny, the major concern is the strength of their legs and hips.
Lopunny, while generally timid by nature, exhibit almost alarming shifts in personality and become rather aggressive in their overall demeanor (a trait thought only to exist during mating, but was recently discovered to happen during Mega Evolution as well). Trainers having sex with their Lopunny must ensure they have complete control over their Lopunny, or they may find themselves nursing bruised (or, in extreme cases, broken) pelvises immediately after mating. Trainers experienced in this area often suggest keeping a hold of at least one of their Lopunny's ears during sex, as Lopunny have more sensory receptors in their ears than they do on any other part of their body. If a Lopunny is getting too violent with its movements, a quick squeeze of its ear will cause it to slow down back to a reasonable pace.

Garbodor
Found mostly in landfills and city slums, Garbodor mating practices are very similar to that of Muk in that there is no physical contact during mating in the wild. Garbodor do not have genitalia, and males instead produce genetic material from a pouch between their legs, which upon "mating" bursts and falls to the ground, after which the Garbodor leaves and the mate is able to safely collect the material. Female Garbodor have an "inverted" pouch that is functionally similar to a uterus in the same location, and mates of Garbodor will deposit their genetic material anywhere on Garbodor's body, which will seep through and make is way to the pouch, where it combines with Garbodor's own material to produce an egg. Garbodor eggs are safe to the touch (although like most Poison Pokemon eggs, do not have a pleasant odor), and Garbodor are not overly protective of their eggs (presumably because of the odor as a natural deterrent).
It must be said now: unless the idea of depositing one's semen onto a Garbodor from a distance sounds appealing, a trainer should never mate with their Garbodor. Even if one could tolerate the overwhelming stench, the physical makeup of a Garbodor is highly toxic, and physical contact can produce very nasty skin irritations that require extensive medical treatment. In addition, Garbodor often have sharp, syringe-like protrusions in their bodies that can easily pierce the skin of a mate, and getting Garbodor material into one's bloodstream will result in severe illness, often times leading to death if untreated. Female trainers should be advised as well: male Garbodor genetic material, while not as toxic as its body, is still very harmful and will cause extreme damage to the genitalia if inserted.

Charizard
The ferocious final evolution of Charmander, the raw primal energy of Charizard permeates every element of its being, mating being no exception. Male Charizard will battle other males for the chance to breed with a compatible mate, often times severely crippling and even killing challengers in the wild (for this reason, Charizard breeding in captivity is heavily monitored to prevent undue loss). Like many Pokemon in the Dragon egg group, male Charizard have retractable penises that are stored in the body when not in use, while female Charizard have standard cloaca. Unusually, during copulation a Charizard may do one of many things, from breathing smoke onto their mate to taking flight mid-mating to continue in the air. It is very unclear why this happens, as there is no discernible pattern between actions, and individual Charizard may perform multiple of these actions with the same mate upon repeated copulation.
Trainers who have mated with their Charizard warn that while it is a pleasant, warm experience, it also is not for the faint of heart. As mentioned above, Charizard are unpredictable during mating, so it is advised to train your Charizard to understand "safe words" to prevent catastrophe. Somewhat surprisingly, Charizard mate for life and are in the Aggressive category of infidelity response, and will initially attempt to kill their mate if it has mated with another Pokemon. This holds true for trainers as well, but thankfully this initial outburst is the worst of the reaction. Nevertheless, jilted Charizard will refuse to take orders from a trainer it has mated with if it has been betrayed, and this sadly does not appear to change with time.

Meloetta
More myth than monster, only recently have scientists been able to perform rigorous study of Meloetta, as it has only been in the past few decades that Meloetta have been regularly sighted. Physically, Meloetta are genderless and do not appear to have the ability to breed, leaving the question as to how Meloetta have survived throughout the generations (popular folk tales speculate that a Meloetta is born whenever a musician creates and performs a particularly wonderful song). It is theorized that Meloetta had dimorphic sexual characteristics that were possibly linked to the alternate "Pirouette" form that were somehow lost, however there is no solid evidence to support this theory.
Due to the rarity of the Pokemon, there is very little information regarding human/Meloetta interactions from a mating standpoint. The only account even resembling a report comes in the form of a centuries old journal of a nameless musician from Lacunosa Town. According to the account, the musician was deep in the woods in the dead of night attempting to create a "masterpiece of music" for a woman he wished to court. According to the journal, the musician fell asleep and was awoken by a Meloetta, who began to sing to the musician. As it sang, the musician began to feel "as though he was one with music itself", and the song purportedly created a "feeling of pleasure unlike any sensation he had ever experienced". The song finished with the musician having a vision of himself and Meloetta copulating underneath the very tree he was sitting under, at which point the musician awoke once again, the entire encounter apparently a dream. Though the information in this journal is wildly imaginative, recent studies of Meloetta have confirmed that given proper stimulus they can in fact create hallucinations with their singing, so perhaps this story is less fanciful than initially thought.

Mienshao
Becoming increasingly popular among practitioners of martial arts, Mienshao is perhaps one of the most "civilized" Pokemon in the natural world. Both male and female Mienshao choose their mates carefully, and perform elaborate "dances" to attempt to woo their chosen mate. If the potential partner responds poorly, Mienshao move on to another target. If the partner accepts Mienshao (humorously, Pokemon accepting male Mienshao respond by falling onto their backs and laying still), the Mienshao's genitalia will swell and they will copulate with their mate. Mienshao are neither submissive nor aggressive, moving carefully and holding only enough control to ensure successful mating. Mienshao are unusual in that they are completely silent during mating, even though they are completely capable of vocalizing.
Pokephiles who have mated with Mienshao have often expressed surprise at how human-like Mienshao are during intercourse with how they handle their partner. One popular practice Mienshao-mated trainers often attempt is to make their Mienshao vocalize via sexual activity. Such a response is indeed possible from a Mienshao, but requires far more effort than one would find in the wild. Nevertheless, trainers who have successfully made their Mienshao vocalize from pleasure believe that doing so is actually beneficial to the relationship between mates, though this has not been (and likely can not ever be) empirically proven. Mienshao mate for life, and are in the Adaptive category of infidelity response. If a mate chosen by a Mienshao mates with another Pokemon, Mienshao simply find another mate and continue to maintain a relationship with their trainer. Nevertheless, it is rumored that the only time a Mienshao will cry is in the middle of the night after their mate is discovered to be disloyal, though due to the requirements to achieve such a sight, it has not been tested.

Lucario
One of the most popular choices among casual and hardcore Pokephiles alike, the amount of reproductive information on Lucario is nothing short of staggering. In the wild, Lucario find potential mates by scanning the auras of nearby Pokemon during mating season. Compatible Pokemon with strong auras are chosen by Lucario, and they immediately begin to breed with their chosen mate. Like the many evolutions of Eevee, male Lucario have a "knot" on their penis which prevents spillage of semen after ejaculation, while female Lucario vaginal openings swell to readily accept more mates. Lucario are generally dominant in wild encounters, though if they are put up against a stronger mate they readily become submissive. Both male and female Lucario are fiercely protective of both their mates and their eggs, though they generally prioritize eggs over mates in any given situation.
As mentioned before, Lucario is one of the most popular choices in the Pokephile community. For many, it was simply a matter of training a Pokemon they thought was strong, and developing an intimate bond after some time. Lucario have immense respect and loyalty to their trainers, so trainers who wish to initiate mating with their Lucario will find little to no resistance (although Lucario will rarely initiate intimacy), leading some Pokephiles to conclude that to a Lucario, a trainer is always the perfect mate. Copulating with a Lucario is generally safe, they are exceptionally careful with the spikes on their chest and hands, and will readily accept any order given to them by their mate. Lucario mate for life, and are in the Adaptive category of infidelity response. Lucario do not get upset when their mates breed with other Pokemon, and many times Lucario can be coaxed into joining sexual situations with their mate and other Pokemon. The only time a Lucario will ever have a negative response is if their mate excessively neglects them, in which case a Lucario will attempt to regain their mates attention through surprisingly lewd displays. It is only after several failed attempts of these displays that a Lucario will truly give up on their mate, and will abandon their trainer.
