I’m making good on the commission method I had told people I would initiate next and reviewing requests submitted to me while I have been closed for consideration. …there are uh, a few! 😅 Y’all are sweet. Taking on an unspecified # of these.
To help me filter out those with changed minds or circumstances, if you have *already* submitted a request and are still interested in receiving a commission, send me a DM reminding me of the email associated with your request so I can cross-reference. No new requests right now please.
Note: I won’t be taking on Ink tier comms (if that’s the tier you had picked on the form, we can hash out a different one), and also in the time that has passed my commission prices may have changed from when you submitted.
My goal is to satisfy as many of you as possible (nice), but keep in mind selection is up to my discretion. After this batch, possibly one more referencing my old form, I’ll go to regular, less unwieldy timed commission windows like a normal person.

This is a heads up that within the next month, I will be throwing my hat into the ring in support of the scat artist collaboration that is patreon.com/FilthHoundFetishWorks!
I will not be ending my Patreon, but it does mean I will be creating one finished artwork at least per art pack release under FHFW, beginning with the March pack (these are charged per-pack and aim to be released monthly). Art I create for their collaborative packs will have a 6-month FHFW Patreon exclusivity period before being cleared for public release. Also included at certain tiers is the ability to procure character sketches from the artists.
So why am I supporting the FHFW Patreon? As I continue to produce art for the scat community, I’ve seen more and more scat artists pop up, including those I consider friends at this point and I’d like to see all of us succeed! So I’m hoping this can serve as a ‘rising tide lifts all boats’ situation, in addition to being a fun collaboration and way to explore new ideas.
Check them out if it sounds interesting! I can say the content there among their currently six artists naturally skews more ‘male/male’ than here, so stuff I come up with will probably be themed to match if that’s more your thing. It will also most often be my own ideas, as opposed to posted commissions. And ultimately if you choose to drop my Patreon in favor of theirs, or ignore this plug completely, no harm, no foul.

TL/DR: I'm tentatively back, gonna pick up a commission or two. Uploading a couple finished commissions here on WS, and another thing (non-scat) on StarmanDeluxe here: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/32969582/
I've been nigh-on non-existent these last many months, which I do apologize for, especially to those reaching out to me individually. It was never anything personal, I just started to feel very detached from the artwork I was creating and felt like the quality of my work and the efficiency of my time put into it were suffering because of it. So I took a break from it, focused on career and family, while attempting to get back into the groove of artwork with fits and starts as kernels of inspiration became available (shoutout to my last two commissioners who were graciously patient throughout this time!)
I've drawn and colored a set of sketches to my personal tastes. I think it helped me get some confidence and feel more attached to my artwork to some degree. Check it out on StarmanDeluxe here: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/32969582/ It's ah, Kazooie blasted in cum, because why the fuck not |3 I always had a thing for bird characters and she was the closest thing to a 'furry crush' that I can remember, so it was cathartic to satisfy that particular rule 34 itch after all this time.
I think I'll go through my commission requests and pick out a couple that spark my interest, and give myself the hard rule of finishing them within a month. However, I won't be picking any full or flat colors right now, as I have sapped my own energy in the past through trying to go into too much detail and over-extending the length of a project into burn-out. Let's avoid that for now and see how it goes. If your request was in full or flat color and I would otherwise like to do it, no need to change it, I'll reach out and ask if you wouldn't mind it in color sketch. I just don't want to overcommit and drag wait times out too long again.

Per my usual modus operandi, I’m being way to meticulous over details. Everything’s turning out looking great, but I definitely need to assess my approach to the roadmap of future, hi-res pieces to work more ‘smartly’ while still achieving great detail.

ALMOST ready...

Lots of you are asking, so here’s a quick update.
I have the last two images from my backlog that are nearly done. One of them spontaneously generated a more elaborate background because I’m crazy and I’ve been pouring a lot of effort into both. They should both be done in a few days.
Once they’re complete, I’ll post a commission request form link and FINALLY... open up again. I’ll have it accompany an image and probably post a journal too.
Stay tuned my lovelies.

Just wanted to let you all know, especially my commissioners and patrons, that I'm still working on getting everything done and posted! I've been feeling a bit garbage and unfocused lately, onset by who-knows-what, but I'm chipping away at it. It's happened before, and the negative feeling tends to dissipate suddenly, given a bit of time.
That said I probably won't be accepting any special Christmas commissions at this point, since I'll want to finish what I have before adding more to the list. That list includes a few full color commissions, several colorings of finished sketches, and long overdue art for a friend. Realistically, I don't think I can do any holiday themed event. Sorry about that! I do still want to open up for regular commissions once I'm done however.
Anyway, thank you everyone for being patient and for liking what I do. It's a filthy niche that I'm happy to fill ;)

Status Report!

Just wanted to get you all spun up on what's going on on my end. As you may have seen from my or Delle's journal on FA, we had mentioned we were adopting my sister's 7 year old kid while she gets back on her feet. Well the wheels were set and motion and he's living with us now! We're happy to have him around and he's having a great time so far. We're currently working on getting him in school as quick as possible, but until then he's occupying a lot of our free time, and I obviously can't work on the art that I do without privacy, but as soon as we've settled down with a school routine I should be just fine to continue. That's why the Patreon and any commissions I have agreed to are bit delayed, but they are on the way, don't worry!

delle made about taking commissions to support us taking custody of my sister's kid. I've gotten a TON of commission requests in that short amount of time, which I can't thank you guys enough for! Ironically (I don't know if it's actually ironic) the post was mainly to strike up business for Delle, and I forgot my journal header on my main account says I'm open for commissions! Because honestly I have a backlog of people from October who asked and I need to sort things out with them first. But this current show of interest is so inspiring I'm feeling super motivated to take on as many commissions as I can.

I know I'm cutting it close to end of the month here, but more art is on the way and nearly complete. Specifically, I'm shooting to get 3 more pieces posted in quick succession in the next few days, so look out for those.
Over on my Patreon I'm trying something new as an experiment and am including a time-lapse video of me drawing one of this month's digital paintings as a bonus for any tier, even just $1! It's a nice opportunity if you're into that sort of thing, and you are not obligated to stick around for subsequent months if that's all you want. I do plan to add it as a permanent fixture to one of the tiers, or possibly make it its own tier however.

I know I'm cutting it close to end of the month here, but more art is on the way and nearly complete. Specifically, I'm shooting to get 3 more pieces posted in quick succession in the next few days, so look out for those.
Over on my Patreon I'm trying something new as an experiment and am including a time-lapse video of me drawing one of this month's digital paintings as a bonus for any tier, even just $1! It's a nice opportunity if you're into that sort of thing, and you are not obligated to stick around for subsequent months if that's all you want. I do plan to add it as a permanent fixture to one of the tiers, or possibly make it its own tier however.

If I did not respond to your email, your request is rest assured being kept on file and I will try to email you when I am open to ask if you still are interested.

I will be taking on 5 at a time as before, but they are not limited to Refined Sketches.
I will attempt to continuously take on batches of 5 commissions after each set, time and burnout permitting.
If I ignored your commission request before I'm very sorry! D: I will try to respond to everyone's request, since I don't intend to leave anyone in the dark. As such, please send me your commission details (again, if you have already) to my email:

Just so I have them all organized in one place.

Hey, just wanted to throw out a quick update. As of now I'm working on 5 sketch commissions plus 3 requests from my Patreon. I also have PSDs, Hi-res images and a new poll that will be updated to Patreon soon, however my dad, who travels with enough frequency to give only short notice, has stopped by for a visit until Monday, so I am a bit delayed on the art front for that reason.
And speaking of the PSDs, for those of that tier on Patreon, I was going to forgo the commentary just to get them out the door. Would you feel slighted without that extra insight, or does it not really matter to you?
