Anyhoo I am still alive, holidays just kinda kicked my ass and brought on the ol' depression spiral. For some reason the seasonal shit hit me hard this time around, but I think I'm finally started to pull out of it. Got a new WIP in the works (chucked a preview on twitter/tumblr/discord and full thing on patreon) so I'm slowly getting back into the grind. And I'm taking an art class now that should give me the much-needed kick to boost my skills and keep me in practice. Ngl tho I am a little bummed I missed out on my usual crimmus-themed doodling shenanigans, might say fuck it and do something belated anyways lol. Disclaimer: Before you join, note that it is a 15+ server, meaning that it is minor friendly since most of the stuff I dabble in is not inherently explicit. Crass humor is allowed but it is relegated to a mutable channel, and there are hidden nsfw channels that are only accessible via role request (after you confirm you are 18 or older). Hence, anything regarding explicit art and discussion must be relegated to nsfw channels. While we are understanding of the occasional mistake, any intentional crossings of those lines will not be tolerated. Only join if you are able to relegate yourself accordingly.

We've also introduced a new age screening process to keep the server safe so be willing to share your age/age range upon joining. We provide roles accordingly but you won't be able to access most of the channels without those roles.

Update: screening proved too convoluted so you just have to voice that you're of the proper age according to the rules, some of the gen channels are role-restricted until you confirm with a mod.

Those of you following me elsewhere probably already know this, but I’ve been grappling with a pretty bad depression flareup for a while. And adding to that, one of my dogs died late last week, and since I’ve been pressured all around to just suck it up irl, which in turn makes the whole thing worse. So yeah, I’m not doing well and I don’t foresee myself feeling better for a while. And I’ve pretty much given up forcing myself to draw, since as a good friend pointed out, trying to force myself back into productivity isn’t helpful when I should just feel what I feel and process, and it just made me more frustrated and overwhelmed when I should be giving myself a break.

I do have one pic I forgot to upload here (finished it the same day my dog passed, and didn’t have the time to upload it here when that day went to shit for me) but after that I’m probably gonna be inactive, unless the will to draw suddenly returns.

I recently closed my Ekas due to this issue and had it explode into fireworks so might as well get it over with here so those of you with skewed moral compasses can throw your little bitchfits and gtfo.

I do not support pedo shit. If you’re drawing characters with the proportions and anatomy of a 10 year-old in sexual artwork and fapping to it I want nothing to do with you. No, I’m not taking about aged up cartoon designs, but stuff that is intentionally drawn to look like a child (or cub) with intended sexual connotations. This is your warning to unfollow and/or block me. I’ve heard every counterarguement in the book. Don’t bother. You’re just putting yourself on a blocklist. Instead think about the ramifications of what you’re defending.

And those of you that are decent and reasonable people, rest assured I’ll never draw or support that shit.

Sooo it feels kinda weird giving any sort of rundown on here but might was well—

Guess I’ll start with the good thing—celebrated my bday last weekend so that’s a thing. Got some nice things and lots of well-wishes. Downside was that I was pretty sick the day of so I didn’t get to go out and do a lot of the things I wanted, but on the other hand it was a mellow day and got to watch Spiderverse again.

Now for less pleasant stuff:

-I’m gearing into finals hell pretty hard and I’m not exactly doing great this quarter due to some early setbacks that produced a cascading effect so I’m a mix of stressed and a general “fuck it” mood towards my academics rn.

-Allergies are bad, and I’ve suddebly been hit with another long bout of exhaustion. Which coincidentally also makes my insomnia worse so it’s this constant loop of being tired, not being able to sleep enough hours (I wake up after about 4-5 hours and can’t fall back asleep), and being even more tired. Which paired with allergies has been giving me headaches up the wazoo.

-My sister is moving out with her boyfriend so I’m now bearing the brunt of family abuse in her stead. Wonderful.

-yesterday a family member had to be rushed to the ER, and the doctors are still puzzling over it. They were allowed to return home but there’s gonna be followup tests that may reveal a potential heart issue, which is also not so great. And during that period it was stressful.

-spring/summer always brings out my depression symptoms for whatever reason. So dealing with those again.

-I’ve been in general fighting illness after illness so that’s starting to worry me. To boot I’m also stressing about getting top surgery while I’m still covered by an insurance company that doesn’t fuck over trans people but at the same time my disorder is making it difficult to take my hormones on time OTL

The point being this is all contributing to my diminished presence and it’s also why I’m really slow responding to notes and those of you that have me in DMs. Please don’t think it’s anything you guys have done to cheese me off—I’m just dealing with a lot and withdrawing from social stuff. I am sorry I’m hard to pin down but honestly, I don’t think that’s going to change anytime soon. I do appreciate everyone that reaches out as well as the kind words I’ve been getting, and I hope that I have the ability to respond soon. But I also just don’t have the energy to explain myself to everyone individually, so here’s kind of a blanket statement for that purpose.

Once again though, thank you all for your kind words and the attention, it does mean a lot to me even if I don’t respond/take forever to respond.

So just got back from break ready to respond to all your nice comments...and then I come down with the plague (again). Sadly it’s kinda kicking my ass right now (the joint pain is...really something), but hopefully once I’m clear of all this crap I’ll get active again, start drawing again, and all that.

Still sorry for vanishing again with no warning, and unfortunately it’s gonna be a bit longer still before I’m up to snuff.

Was hoping to make a comeback, but I was unfortunately struck down with a nasty case of the flu coupled with sinusitis for the past two weeks. That said I’m /finally/ pulling out of it, and intend to resume activity shortly, including in servers and elsewhere too.

Hopefully I’ll have some things to post within the next few days as well, as I relearn how to draw :V

Yeaaaah inactive again, same mental BS, but now with all the joys of weird health issues that're kind of sucky. To this day I continue to baffle all the doctors as to wtf is actually wrong with me, but something is broken :V

On the good news end just celebrated my first month on T! Yay second puberty (I still have no idea how I managed to pull that off).

Just seems like every time I think I'm in the clear something new beats me down, but HOPEFULLY I'll see the last of it soon and make a more of a return. So my mental health is a little better and I've been feeling more like talking to people and drawing things again (thankfully). But unfortunately I just came back with a trip with a pretty bad illness, so it still might be a bit before I make a full comeback.

I do apologize for not being responsive at all for a while and just dropping off on here. I was in a really bad place for a while, but things are picking up a tad and I have some stuff to look forwards to in the coming months. That said, it was never my intention to ignore anyone on here or elsewhere and I'm really sorry if I've made anyone feel that way. Unfortunately I have a crapton of comments to go through, and while I have read them all and am super glad ya'lls want to talk to me and like my stuff, I'm probably going to have to nuke most of them OTL. That's entirely on me though, and hopefully I won't get so far behind again. After all, the reason I chose to de-lurk here was to meet new people and try to explore a different crowd, and disappearing off the face if the planet doesn't do much to accomplish that task.

Only just now kinda caught up on things, but had a major sudden loss in the family a few days back so I'm probably going to be infrequent with the drawing while I mourn and go through all that gross emotional stuff.

I also have finals over the next two weeks as well.

Might finish up a few things in the meantime but if I vanish for a long period/am unresponsive it's simply because I'm a tad overwhelmed, not because I'm trying to ignore anyone. I'll recover eventually though.

Just mentioning I totally didn't mean to kickstart this account and then vanish mysteriously. Unfortunately I've been dealing with some dumb mental health issues and a artistic dry spell that I'm only now just starting to kick, and that's why I haven't been posting much of anything.

I'll likely post a doodle dump or two (compilations of silly tumblr stuff), and some other drawings. And hopefully I'll get back to posting content more regularly soon!

But I'm certainly not a new artist or anything, or even new to this site. I've been quietly lurking for a couple years, until I started getting several nudges to actually USE my account, and after about a year of resistance, I'm finally posting shit.

And yeah it's probably already straightforwards with the kind of content I post, but in case anyone didn't--I like drawing monster bois, and I have a horrible oral fixation kink, so naturally those two combined for kinky monster boi content. This then furthered itself in monster boi OCs, and down the line I got obsessed with Jake. I still wonder why he's so effective on me :B

Him aside, there's a fair bit of story to every character I draw here, some silly, some kinky, and some serious. I enjoy darker comedy and rich backstories, so it fuels a lot of what I draw and write. I'm also a biology buff so...be warned, I'll occasionally combine it with kink and fantasy for an ungodly combo haha. But I'm hoping I can somehow get some of that transferred over here, as people get curious about the actual characters themselves.

I do also...erm...draw the raunchier side of things at times. I'm still kind of deciding how I want to address that one here (cuz I mean FA's good with it). Maybe if I can find a way to post it to a folder without having it show up on my public page. Pronz on the sly~?

Also lemme just say "wow". I've only been "active" a day and the reception I've gotten is so wonderful already. Ya'll really know how to make a weirdo feel welcome XD
