Toxcicity
Posted 7 years agoIronic that it took a mass ban to get me to come back here. The community has people who are simply toxic to all people who disagree with them. I've been contemplating how best to deal with those people. The answer I'm using so far is to simply listen to people who aren't attacking others, and to chastise those who are. I think I will continue to do this for now. Though I do not think it has resulted in less toxcicity, I do think it has resulted in people feeling like the community is worth saving. Toxic fucks are, and always will be, a plague on the furry community.
Not dead. Finals coming up. Preparing.

On writing.
Posted 10 years agoStories take more time to read than pictures do to look at. You can judge the quality of pictures more quickly than you can the quality of stories. If you have the same number of artists as you do writers, more works by artists will be seen and commented on than stories will. Those authors who want people to look at their work may switch to art because there is a greater chance of someone being able to appreciate it. How can stories be written with the conundrum of not being able to tell whether you'll like it or not at a glance?
