Home from Torucon!

Technically I have been home since yesterday, but fell asleep while trying to write this journal :p
The con was AMAZING <3 I had so much fun both days.
Day one
More or less the first thing I did was buying a lovely hand made toothless plushie, which you can see in most of my pictures.
I also bought some art and other random stuff, the art will probably be posted on 
sooner or later. Oh and I
even was in a small panel about subcultures, where people could ask questions. Of course I represented the furry subculture
along with another local fur.
Day two
I spent most of the morning suiting and taking pictures. Later I joined an outfit contest, but didn't win (mostly because while
William is awesome the rest of my outfit was boring. I'll try make a custom outfit that match him next year :o Near the end of
the day there was a pretty big football match in the stadium next door, so I went outside and waved at kids going to see the
match. A few families took pictures with me :3
Overall it was extremely tiering, but so worth it! Definitely looking forward to next year.
About photos:
More pictures will come as soon as I have the permission from the photographers. Or in some cases if I have permission from
other people in the picture.
Bought some new pants for William

I wanted some pants for William that had belt loops, but wasn't jeans :o So I got these:

Will be wearing them with the hoodie from the Family party for Torucon in a couple weeks :)

17th of May parade was FUN! But...

I lost count of how many times I was called a tiger :p I guess about 30 times... By both kids and adults.
Aside from that it was so much fun! I bounced around and waved and high fived the kids :3 They loved it! I think I got a lot of attention, I even showed up on nation wide TV :3 But only waving in the background when they interviewed some of the others from the con part of the parade.

As you've probably seen, the photoshoot went well! The weather was perfect, and we got lots of wonderful pictures.
I made a new icon from one of the pictures :3 F5 to see it.

I got a friend of mine to take pictures for me on Sunday, so I'll be suiting at rather cool location :)

The reasonining behind the name

Okay, so I love giving characters meaningful names. William here is first of all a reference to William Shakespeare, as I've recently fallen in love with theater and plays.
It also means "strong-willed warrior", which is pretty cool.
I wanted to give him sort of a normal name, so in the end William seemed perfect. I'm thinking I can call him Will for short.
