I'm not dead lol! I'm just very very busy now with full time employment and setting up our new home :D

So yeah. Seems like i'm almost a fully fledged adult. I'm working full time in job that I wanted for ages. There is progression with said job to do more and earn more money. I've officially moved out of my parents' placed. I'm -almost- self-sustainable with money (although I had to spend a lot of monies to get my car through it's MOT, as I need it for work, but I haven't earnt enough money to pay for it yet, so had to dip into the bank of mum and dad for that >.> ). We're renting an amazing semi-detached, one bedroom, cluster house in a lovely quiet area. And i'm enjoying my job :D Oh, and trying to plan a wedding around all this for next year @.@ Less than 12 months left to go until i'm a Mrs!!!!!! EEP!

So far, everything's coming up Milhouse!

Although, the only downside is I don't have much time to do much else.... I haven't really have a break since starting (i've had to work a couple of weekends and the other weekends were not restful at all!!)... but I think I would be bored if I had a long break of doing nothing again!

Phew. It's been a very crazy couple of weeks, but I may have to close for commissions in the very near future. I have just been offered a job which I have been wanting for ages so i'm going to take it!

I will be spending the next month finding a place to live in the Bicester area and relocating there from Devon. So I'll be very very busy! Obviously, I will complete the ones that are currently in progress very soon (really sorry to keep you waiting so long!!!). But I'm sorry to say to those of you who wanted artings from me that I may well be closing soon. The job is full time with quite strange/varying hours, so until I have a feel for it I will remain closed for commissions. I might offer a few commissions if I feel I have enough time though.

Long time no see FA!

So my 2nd year of university is over! YAY! Actually, it finished last month but hey -shrugs- i've been doing things. my last year starts in September and i'm already shitting myself over Dissertations... gah... so for now I think I should enjoy my holiday before it gets crazy again.

In terms of commissions; I've heard from my sister that she's been asked a lot if i'm open or not. Long story short; no i'm not open, however I might take on a couple in the near future if things over here stay quiet...

I'm being hired by a company to do some artwork for them sometime and that will require my full attention for a little while, so if that happens within the next few weeks, I wont take on new commissions this year. Sorry! And with the start of my final year at university I will be full on busy again, for obvious reasons.

HOWEVER!!! Please feel free to contact me anytime if you do want me to do a commission, as I would like to know how many people are interested and what the workload is likely to be, and who knows, I may be able to squeeze a few people in here and there. But please don't feel disheartened if i don't reply or don't take you on immediately because I will note down everyone who's interested and will contact you if and when i'm able to do it. I would like to discourage birthday/other occasion present-type commissions or those with a deadline, as I can't promise it to be completed on time. I'm also more likely to take on smaller pieces of artwork, as they're, obviously, quicker to do :3

Just as a note, not all of them will look the same, I may add something extra to each one, like; basic colour, basic monochrome shading or a background.... depends what I feel like.... at no extra charge (unless you feel compelled to give me more monies... lol!)

-sigh- don't you just love it when you're on a walk with a couple of uni friends, walking on a public footpath through a field and see a wire box trap with 3 or 4 live crows in it....... wtf right..... watch them and debate what to do for about 10 minutes and come to the conclusion to research it when you get back... walk down the road for 5 seconds and find 1 skeleton.... no wait... 2... 3? 4, 5, 6, 7?!! dead crows, all scattered down this path....... but all at different stages of decaying, so they obviously died at separate times....

what.... the ... acutual... fuck?

Turns out, after 30 mins or so of research, poisoning crows (is what I suspected) is illegal, however trapping and shooting is legal... HOWEVER the trap must say clearly it is legal, it should have a decoy bird in it, it should have food, water and shelter and be rather large....................... this trap just looked like a basic mammal trap.... so yeah, authorities were called and we were told that the welfare officer will check it out....... don;t know if we're gonna find out what happens though =/

-sigh- I hate humans sometimes -.-

(All of this going on just 1 field away from my university where it is crawling with animal welfare and behaviourists......... clever!)

Ok, since I personally feel that i'm not getting that much recognition for my art as I feel it deserves (I know it sounds snotty, but it's just got to that point where i'm getting a bit "why not?" now... I really am a modest person really... but I've seen SO many "artists" out there who have thousands of watchers and views and favourites... but I personally think my art, in terms of quality, has become better than theirs... but I feel I'm still stuck at the bottom...). People I talk to have never heard of me, or have but have no idea I draw, but everyone seems to know my sister >.>... so I feel a bit... stuck in the background... where I really don't want to be... has anyone got any ideas of what I can do to boost my recognition as an artist? Or what do people want to see more of?

Now that i've got that massive load of commissions out of the way, I can do whatever really (this isn't a plug for request art, I will not draw specific characters, I just want ideas)... I'm thinking about maybe taking on small commissions, like icons or something, but it all depends on my uni workload.... at the moment, I have a lot of assignments to do, and it's nearing exam time. After that, I will be pretty free for the next few months until September... so just planning ahead.

So yeah, What do you want to see more of? How can I improve myself to get further up this little artworld?

My new computer has arrived YAY! I now have a brand new shiny 22" screen, a new clean keyboard, a new awesome mouse, and a new shiny computer...... only problem is it doesn't turn on -.-..... yeah... there appears to be absolutely no power running through it at all. We are assuming that the delivery people dropped it, cos there's a bit of a dent in the side of the box >.> but there's no visible damage to the computer T.T so I will have to send it back to get it repaired... fuck sake >,<

We had to put our 14 year old dalmatian down on Tuesday. He was suffering with a large cancerous tumour on his left shoulder, arthritis in his hips, and suspected secondary cancers in his stomach and lungs... R.I.P Harry.

I'm really sorry that things have been seriously slow... and almost ground to a hault >.>... but I can assure you that I have been working on your commissions! But I can resume working on them now, because exams are practically over WOOOO!
