So I've moved about 90% of my art to scraps, which was something I've been meaning to do for months/years now. Part of the reason why I've been wanting to do this is because a lot of my old art is well..old, and rather than deleting it all I'd rather just move the files into storage so to say. The other reason why was because I was unsure of what to do with my account in light of recent events. I didn't want to abandon it, because that'd be giving in and I wanted to at least try and give this site another chance in regards to uploading things, but I like many others were very frustrated with administration. This recent turn of events isn't perfect of course, but it's a start I suppose

That being said, I'll still be using Twitter as my main, but I will also upload new stuff here probably with an occasional link back to Twitter

one more week until I'm done with school! at least until the fall. but hopefully, if all goes well, it'll be my last year of undergrad. not entirely sure where I'll be going for grad school, if I even want to that is. ultimately I wanna go back to Europe though, but that will probably come further down the road. realistically speaking lol

so I've decided that after years of boring spring breaks, I'm going to go somewhere for the week instead of sitting at home. or at least if I stay inside all day I'm not at home

it was a part of my Gaia username which I think I took from Quizilla but I don't completely remember and it just sort of stuck

I have no clue. it just came to me when I was first drawing him

wolf because I was 14 when I first made him

he has elements of an Eastern dragon but he's not really a dragon. I don't know what he is. some sort of reptile I guess

he's black and white with hints of red. his eyes are red and gold respectively. I was still pretty emo at the time and gave him a dark color scheme. one eye is red because he could turn into a monster (it was really a sergal lol)

he's varying shades of pink with a yellow underside. his eyes are green and gold. the goal was to make him the gayest looking thing ever. the fluffy mane is supposed to represent a boa

I know I'm a day late on this but I've been fighting with my computer for the past week or so and haven't really found the time to post this. now that I'm back home I'm gonna try and get into drawing more often, starting with the requests I got from before I left.

still have one week left though before I go back to school.

I got back yesterday and idk, I'm still pretty meh but it's whatever at this point. would definitely go back to Europe or even consider moving there (especially if Trump gets elected lmao)

so I'm scheduled to come back to the US this Friday and to be perfectly honest, I'm not ready at all to leaving. on the one hand, it means I have to return back to my old life essentially which I'm not looking forward to. it wasn't so much that I had something to do every day, because there were days when all I did was go home, but I felt more at home in Europe. also not being constantly misgendered was great tbh.

on the other hand, it means I have to leave behind my best friend for several months or more.


needless to say, it's been a pretty bittersweet past few days.

the only real positives here are that I get to see my cat again, play WoW, and finally play Fallout 4 and Persona 5

so I guess I've got that one virus that causes the ads to pop up on your screen. also EVERYTHING I CLICK REDIRECTS OH MY GOD whAT???

I know it's naive to say 'I thought this problem would have been fixed by now' but I thought this shitty problem would have been fixed by now. if only FA had some way to bring these problems to the attention of the staff though...

So I've been meaning to post this for a bit and just kind of forgot/got distracted but I made it to Munich on Monday, spent a few days there and also a little bit of time in Nuremberg, and eventually made it to Salzburg

This city is amazing and I'm already in love with it. So much so that I find it almost a shame that I have to leave in a few months. I've had so much good food and beer (important because I really don't like beer) since being in Europe that I'm not even sure how I'm gonna go back to living in the States tbh

and I have a really nice view of the mountains from my dorm window too it's gr9

it's also weird being legal and not getting carded everywhere (I've only been carded once). and there's no cover at the bars I've been to so far so that's cool

p.s. I've been working on the requests a little but I've mostly been running around doing other things. this past weekend was the first weekend where I didn't have to be out doing something all day

did some last minute running around today and as of noon tomorrow, it'll officially be one more day until I make the trip towards Austria!

Though I think last time when I made a journal like this it was because I felt I'd hit a wall with my art. This isn't so much the case this time! I'm gonna get this out of the way now before I forget but as many of you might know by now (except for people who just started watching me I guess) I'm leaving for Europe in a few weeks and as such, I'll be stuck in a plane or at the airport for several, several hours. As such, I'll need something to do and I thought maybe I should go ahead and take a few requests to do while I'm waiting.

I'm also gonna open up for just regular commissions as well and you can just pay whatever. All art is clean, no porn this time.

in other news it's almost August which means less than two months before I leave for Austria!!

I come home from work and log onto the forums for the first time in a few days, only to be hit with the news that two folks who I've had the pleasure of interacting with have recently passed

I'm in shock to say the least and some part of me wants to believe that maybe, just maybe there was a mistake but no..it's real

Now I'm not really good at these types of sentimental posts, or really going on these long tangents about life and such, nor have I really had the time to process or even formulate a decent eulogy that could even begin to do these two justice.

but I do know this, it's something I usually try not to think much about but it's still true nonetheless..

Human life is so frail, so please tell your friends, your family, your dog, random people, I don't care who you tell, tell them you love them. Talk to them. Even if it's just to say hi or to see how they're doing
