General | Posted 13 years agoSo yea, last night, I went to Video Games Live in the Count Basie Theater. It was amazing! O_O 3rd Row Center Orchestra seats :D Shout-out to any of you who might have went ^3^ I went as Luigi, and my friend went as Mario. It was fun =3=

I have been thinking lately on whether or not I should sell some of my classical music on iTunes. I want to know what you guys think. Is my music worth it? Given, if I were to do this, I'd obviously write more extensive and elaborate pieces.
If I do go through with this, I'm going to be using TuneCore: http://www.tunecore.com/
So, yea, I just want to know if it's a smart move, or if it's a waste of $15 to get it on iTunes.

General | Posted 13 years agoOk, so, a friend of mine who I haven't spoke to in awhile, I just learned he tried to kill himself a few days ago. He's in the hospital now, and he'll be there for a few more days.
Whenever we used to hang out years ago, we'd be talking and having fun and joking around and being the crazy maniacs we were. When I saw him about 2 weeks ago, he seemed... different. It was as if he was trying to hide. He wasn't talking much (if at all), and he tried as much to avoid eye contact with me (and everyone else that was there), and he was just... quiet, and not like himself.
I thought it'd be typical teen angst, depression, and isolation. He did have to go to a school in Hawaii last year, and the locals thing everyone NOT from Hawaii are either rich or just not good, so, naturally, he was pelted with food on the bus, got in a fight with some kids, and other fun things like that. He also came out of the closet about being Gay, but his friends are supporting of it.
I just wanted to know what you guys think on this. Maybe any advice I could possibly give him? Some way I can help him get through these things. =P

The Background/Back-Story (how they grew up/why they are who they are) is also important.
Here's what I have come to understand most Backgrounds are, in a nice little list :3
-Cursed by godknowswhat
-Possessed and now has evil demon inside
-born with evil demon inside
-used to be an evil demon and now is just 'normal'
-family was murdered and they were tortured so now they are courageous
-murdered family
-murdered friends, and then family
-other muderous acts not involving family
-love
-hate
-break-ins
-break-ups
-drugs
-illegal actions
-some supernatural thing cheaply stolen from a comic book or movie
-grew up alone
-destined to be alone
-foreveralone
-a cluster-fuck of all of the above mashed into a 70s music video on acid

General | Posted 14 years agoThe icons are all sketched!!!! But my computer hates me!!!! So, I'm going to have to color them manually! ;-; Please, forgive me, those who have asked for one already. It will be hand drawn AND hand colored. But I will make digital versions once I can get an external hard drive to put stuff on (my computer is near capacity ;-; ).
As for those still wanting to get them, you can still request for them, once a spot opens up. They will be drawn, and you will get a digital remake of yours once I get to it.
