Faolan_Wolf-Wings here. How have you all been doing lately? I hope everyone here is having a great time soaring the endless open skies of summer, enjoying the nice warm thermals and cool breezes, with the refreshing scent of the summer in the air!
Recently I was asked by one of our members,
KitraDragonfox, to advertise a winged feral YCH Auction that Kitra is holding, titled "Catch Me If You Can!" The YCH image itself looks amazing already; imagine how it would look when completed! It looks to be really fun, too! I truly recommend you watch this awesome artist! The species accepted are canines (wolves, coyotes, dogs), vulpine (foxes), and felines (excluding domestic house-cats), with the possibility of dragons. The auction ends tomorrow on August 15 in Moscow, and you have this much time before the auction ends! Group Status Updates (Still alive, and soaring!!!)

I know it has been awhile since the group was last active -- and indeed, the update report was WAY overdue! -- but I had been rather busy with college and job searching over the past two years, and our group's moderator had been going through some surgeries on her wrists, so she wasn't able to check up on this group account for quite some time.
Mainly, I just want to let you all know that the group is still running. Soon I will need some help keeping it going, but if any of you winged furs out there are interested, there is an opening for a second group moderator. Anyone who applies must be able to check in on a regular basis and create journals about status updates often to let members of the group know what is going on. Please note me, Faolan Wolf-Wings, if you wish to apply for the position, but do not send the note to this group, as it will not be read! No modifications or submissions should be made in the group without asking me for permission first.

Group Reopened. New Changes Made
General | Posted 12 years ago Faolan_Wolf-Wings here.Made some changes to the group profile page. Bronies can now join. A little warning, however: there will be no fighting between bronies and furries. All parties are to respect one another and keep offensive comments to themselves. Failure to abide by this rule will get you expelled from this group! Now, do I make myself clear? That means no arguing, no name-calling, no fighting, and no nasty or offensive comments about another member of the group. Nice, polite comments and chats only.
Anyway, please stick around. As a reminder, please do not hesitate to notify me of any artwork or stories you would like to have reposted in this group, either by posting the link in a reply to this journal or by note system to my personal profile. Do not send to this group; I probably won't see it here. Just as long as the story or artwork abide accordingly to the following requirements:
1 ~ It must be related to the group's winged theme.
2 ~ It must not contain any vore, yiff, pornography, or any other unclean, inappropriate contents related to sexual activities. Please keep it clean. Failure to do so will end up with the same result as with the aggression offense, along with the deletion of post containing link to submissions in question about said offensive contents.

Group Notice (an Update on Group Status)
General | Posted 12 years agoHey, everyfur! faolanwolf-wings here. Just want you all to know that the group will be temporarily closed until further notice. Since I will still be very busy over the next few months, I doubt I will have much time to drop in on FA, much less manage this group. And I absolutely refused to give ownership of the group to anyone else. Therefore, I will need to close the group down (not that there ever was much activity anyway). Still, keep spreading the word about the existence of this group. Until the group opens again, farewell.
May the winds bear you aloft upon the currents of the vast skies, so that you may soar far and wide, high above the clouds on blessed wings.

It seems like DWD is busy, so I am thinking of maybe sharing flight stories here. In order to share them, you must post the stories on your own journal or as a submission. Then you must reply to this journal with the story's title, summarized description, content rating (G for general audience, M for mature, or R for restricted adult content), and a link to your story journal or submission so that anyone who choose to read it will only have to follow the link to view it. Failing to follow these rules will result in your post being deleted from this journal.

Furry Wing Raffle Winner!

DarkWingedDestiny, and we agreed on that I should draw the random number for the winner.So, the winner of our very first raffle is...*glances at letter containing winner's name and info handed to me in a sealed envelope*...Entrant #2,
kracklekat! Congratulations, Kracklekat! In winning this raffle you get an artwork depicting you with wings that you can call your own, and soaring the skies for all to see! If you would like, you can have your fursona drawn with our group's mascot. DWD will draw the image. (DWD, I know you are watching this, so I hope you got all that.)Also, for those of you who did not win, thank you for attending. Just being here for the group's very first raffle should be honor enough for anyone. Please spread the words to all winged furs out there who did not join. Let them know that this is out there.

5. Oh and if you win I ask you what you would like done. Also I can put the mascot from our avi in the pic with you ;) if you like too

Furthermore, for every 25 participants who enters, there will be 1 winner. For example, if there were 43 participants, there will be 2 winners, and 7 winners if there were 178 participants. This gives you a greater chance to win, and will also benefit both the group and you. And remember, DWD is not the only one in charge of running this group. She is my mod for the group so that the group remains under control while I'm gone. Therefore, when either I or DWD post a journal or response to journal post, we will state our names to prevent confusion.
