General | Posted 4 years agoOkay, so, as a quick summary for the YFH, I have a significant chunk done, and just need to finish the flats of two more fullbodies before I start shading and drawing the background
HOWEVER, I also wanna make note, I'm doing a part 2 probably. I already have 4 people for it, and I'm looking for 2 more switch/sub oriented friends of mine for it. TO NOTE: To apply you have to be friends with me and mutually following me on one of my social medias.
If that applies to you either note me here on FA or contact me on Discord with your character ref and the idea you had for an ABDL themed (not necessarily ENTIRELY CENTERED AROUND ABDL but diaper stuff is necessary) outfit, and any relevant refs for visual inspiration. The 2 I find most enticing will get the last 2 slots.

General | Posted 4 years agoI'm gonna be trying to do a more large ambitious piece for my friends and mutuals themed around an ABDL humiliation parade, where the characters will be walking in a line in a variety of humiliating ABDL related (though not necessarily ABDL THEMED) outfits. A few rules for this:
-We have to be following each other
-You have to message me over notes or DMs on discord with a link to references/images of your sona, as well as any outfit ideas you want me to use for their outfit. (Reference images aren't necessary, but a general idea of something you want is necessary so I can draw something similar)
-I will not be drawing ferals or shota/loli/cub characters.
I can't guarantee I'll FINISH it, my motivation tends to be garbage, but hey, if I do, I'll be linking all your accounts on the piece's description and all that jazz.

You might think given how OFTEN it's in my gallery that the color would be pink, but... actually I'm a big fan of lilac. I just like the pastel cool colors in general, but as there's only one choice, I'm going with lilac.

I'm currently 18, and as of responding at the tail end of my senior year of high school. I do own a pacifier that I keep hidden from the family I live with, but besides from that? Yeah, it's mostly on the internet. That's not to say I don't *want* to eventually try irl stuff, but for the time being it's pretty much all internet stuff.

Well, as of genres and ideas, I tend to dabble a lot in both comedy and horror, usually exploring darker themes in stuff that's comical in appearance. So... probably that? Though, if you want a theme that's more *specific*, I'd say mental health is a pretty recurring theme in my work.

Not particularly, I don't think? Though like I alluded to, I tend to like horror and comedy, so stuff that combines those elements is generally appealing to me.

Well, of course I like anything cutesy and pink, anyone looking through my gallery would notice that right away, so I'll go for the less obvious answer: Toon Diapers. Effectively, they're not made to be used, just to look goofy and cute instead, with the big needle thing. I just like how they look.

Initially? I was actually as a kid inspired by Jeff Kinney's Diary of a Wimpy Kid series, making journals for myself with art inspired by his own. After that, I think the first thing that got me into making art digitally was probably wanting to make fancontent for FNAF and Undertale, and making art of fan characters made by myself and my friends at the time.

Hm. Well, not on THIS account, but... one in mind is Conrad Mayhem, a tiefling sorcerer who's origin was based off of stereotypical edgy rival character backstories. Effectively, to be given magic by some mad scientist, he was repeatedly magically electrocuted over the course of several years, eventually losing the ability to feel pain as a trauma response and suffering severe, crippling PTSD that made him seem to be a husk. A living weapon if you will. Here's some old art of the character in question. I drew him a lot but I don't have anything else posted if I recall correctly.

I actually initially misunderstood what the question was when I initially answered with "So like... An actual title? I mean, I've always been a fan of shapey art styles akin to people like Sleepykinq/Mad Doctor, I guess. I don't know many official titles nowadays." so I'll give another answer now: I've always been a fan of the aesthetic of impressionism. I know that's a kinda basic answer, but it feels airy and nostalgic, almost like a memory I don't have.

If they have to be original species, there was this whole species on Deviantart once called Wyngro, or something similar, and it was like, this whole setting and lore for it. It was cool. If we're talking in general and not original... I like goats and sheep.

Nothing sentimental, no. But, I did this Easter get a plush lamb and squid in a gift basket. That was nice.

There's a specific how to draw anime book which I think was my first introduction to things like anatomy and complex drawing methods like that: The Master Guide to Drawing Anime: How to Draw Original Characters from Simple Templates by Christopher Hart. (Had to Google it-- don't have the book on my person anymore)
It's definitely a *flawed* book in my eyes and encourages concepts like same face syndrome, but it also had a lot of foundations that I've used to this day, and I don't think I'd have had as strong a start artistically if I didn't first look into that book. My art looked like shit, sure, but that sort of platform helped me to grow into the artist I am now. So... yeah. Overall, that book was probably the main "teaching" tool I had.
As of some more MODERN examples... I actually learned how to do the style of shading I do from a Youtuber called Ponder Sprocket. I love her content a LOT, and I'd recommend if you're interested in commentary videos and deconstructions. (I also use a "relief" tool to give that soft lighting/shading look you see in some of my pieces, and to have a guide on where the lighting/shading is on the piece)

It's definitely a *flawed* book in my eyes and encourages concepts like same face syndrome, but it also had a lot of foundations that I've used to this day, and I don't think I'd have had as strong a start artistically if I didn't first look into that book. My art looked like shit, sure, but that sort of platform helped me to grow into the artist I am now. So... yeah. Overall, that book was probably the main "teaching" tool I had.
As of some more MODERN examples... I actually learned how to do the style of shading I do from a Youtuber called Ponder Sprocket. I love her content a LOT, and I'd recommend if you're interested in commentary videos and deconstructions. (I also use a "relief" tool to give that soft lighting/shading look you see in some of my pieces, and to have a guide on where the lighting/shading is on the piece)

General | Posted 4 years agoSo, I did some research into the term "babyfur," and found that it's about the idea of roleplaying as a young child/baby furry character. This is inaccurate to the kind of art I make, and as such, I'm gonna be going through and removing "babyfur" from all the tags on my posts on FA, and being careful to not use the term in the future. While the idea of it is not outright illegal or otherwise *bad* (so long as those child characters aren't being sexualized) it's not something I'm planning to do with my content, and I'm sorry for giving an inaccurate description of what my art is.

Coming from someone who deals with the consequences of trying to be involved sexually as a minor EVERY DAY, such as getting into interactions with actual pedos, being sexually harassed and being emotionally abused and guilted into sexual interactions, do yourself a favor and stop. If you have to make content that you keep to yourself in order to vent out sexual feelings that's fine and I don't care, but you putting yourself onto a platform of adults that can take advantage of you, or otherwise get into serious trouble by accidentally interacting with you without knowledge you're a minor.

So, with that in mind, I'mma do a raffle thing to celebrate... with a bit of a twist.
Effectively, I'm doing both a watcher raffle and a QNA!
I'll be responding in the comments to any questions any of you have for me, and then using wheel decide or a similar site to decide a winner.

General | Posted 4 years agoJust so everyone's aware, my phone which I use to draw has been doing something where it converts PNGs and transparent PNGs to JPEG files whenever I upload to Discord.
Which absolutely DESTROYS the image quality, and makes transparent files no longer transparent
This sounds fine and dandy until you realize I usually DM an alt account in order to save my pics to my Chromebook and upload them. In order to fix the issue, I need to now email to myself, save each image one at a time, and then upload them to FA. This makes uploading a lot more tedious, and when combined with having a lot of depression issues during winter and summer, means I'm gonna feel less motivated to go through the effort to upload.
If anyone has any suggestions on how to fix this issue I'd love to hear them.
But yeah, either way, with that in mind, I'm sorry if any future uploads are lower quality, or if they're more sparse in general.

I'm not entirely sure how *much* at the moment, but I wanted to know how many people have considered the possibility of commissioning me, or are currently considering such now.
Currently, I don't have them open, but since I want to possibly do them in the future once I have a solid job somewhere and all that shit, I thought asking you guys right now would be a worthy endeavor.
Also: Thank you guys for supporting me, like genuinely. I know that sounds dumb given how many people say that, but I didn't go into this expecting to be so supported by people. I hope I can live up to your guys' expectations continuing forward and that you guys keep seeing me as worth supporting.

If you don't know me personally, or don't know me closely enough to be on first name basis, or just generally don't have a close connection to me right now, you can ignore this post, because it's directed at someone who won't be named.

This is directed to someone who's treated me unfairly over the course of roughly 3 years.
