It was an amazing con and I can't wait to go back again next year! I am also heading off to Japan next year, so things will be interesting.

We cooked eggs with a tent stake and ate a lots of potatoes with bees flying around us. But unfortunately they nerfed the bass.... :(

That dance was epic! one of the best I have ever been to. My legs are still sore from all the dancing from Friday and Saturday night. I heard there were complaints about the noise on the 11th floor, lol. Maybe next year we can hit the 15th?

I can't wait until Wild Nights, if we can get a sound setup like at FF we could have the Amish party with us!

I used to be Groot but I am a rabbit again. Dancing at raves is really fun! especially on stage! like screw the dance floor man, it's for sissies.

So I came and I went and wish I kicked ass. The new location is pretty awesome aside from the elevator madness and me trying to navigate stairs while in suit, which was fun to say the least. I got to meet all kinds of strange new people and wander around aimlessly as usual.

I got to be in a skit! well kinda anyway... I walked onto the stage and put my hand on some crying person's shoulder while a poem was being read in the background. Then I got chased through the audience by some foxes and wolves and almost tripped.

The dance! ah yes... well they had some nice beats but a lot of times it seemed it was the same track kinda repeating itself. Us fursuiters are performers and kinda helps to have some lyrics to the music to give it a bit more emotion and stuff. Otherwise I might have to drink a case of Red Bull before I go to these things.

Anyway I look forward to the next one!

Oh yeah... forgot to say... ZigZag gave me a smooch, lol.

Got back from Wild Nights yesterday and I am still recovering.

A few highlights...

*Got some new pictures drawn in my fancy new sketchbook, yay!
*Shot a bow and sucked really bad at it.
*Shared a cabin with some really nice new people who's names elude me right now.
*Danced at the rave(of course) and I would like to mention that  shasta_wolf87 is an awesome DJ. I did not get to spin much poi due to the dance floor being so small :(
*I got to wear a robe that  Hollyfox let me borrow and I think it worked out really well for my suit.
*Drank some nasty Kool-Aid.

Ah yes it was awesome! I showed up Friday morning and the first thing I did after registration was to get me some Kool-Aid. Oh man it was epic! they had all these different flavors including gatorade and even tea! It was not nasty either, so I drank plenty for Hodari and Romani like I said I would.

The weather was mostly pleasant other than the high humidity which made suiting difficult. I donned my rabbit suit whenever I could, but I did most of my suiting at night while at the dance.

The highlight of the con for me was the relaxing hike I did at Robber's cave with Oki and several other folks. All I could hear up there was the wind rustling through the trees, makes me wish that place was closer. Next time I go there I might bring a hammock with me so that I can take a nap in it, lol.

Hopefully we do not have to dodge tornadoes like we did last year. I should arrive sometime Friday morning and I look forward to being there.

Ah yes the glorious Furry Fiesta! A roller coaster ride with spills chills and scares! It was fun while it lasted. In fact I think I had so much dang fun I nearly passed out a couple times from exhaustion, lol.

My new rabbit suit, kotaru turned out to be a really awesome suit to wear. I had a lot of pictures taken of me and I hope to see some of them posted. I ran in to all kinds a new people, so dang many that I can't remember most of them. Or maybe I am just getting senile...

I managed to get a few poi lessons from Falconpunch and another person whose name I can't remember. They gave me a lot of helpful advice and showed me all kinds of moves. Oh boy do I need to practice more!

Megumibish is awesome! She made me a new tail so that I could wear Kotaru as a partial. I also got a cool new 3-D badge from Wolfaya. It was expensive but well worth the money.

It seemed almost everyone had a fursuit this year. When I did the first round of the parade and got back to the ballroom there was room full of people still waiting easily a hundred or so.

I am definitely returning next year.

It was awesome! better than last year. I got to spin my poi at the dance and smacked myself many times, including poor old  bucktowntiger oops... Sorry to anyone else I may have hit. Julie Bunny Must Die was there and I got to see it again, Hopefully they will get to go to some bigger cons like Furry Fiesta.

A few highlights, At the Friday night dance I did this merry-go-round thing with a bunch of people and it was fun! I spun poi with a couple furs there but I don't remember their names, they were awesome though. The dance overall was the most fun thing I did there and they played a good variety of music which is a big plus.

Off the top of my head the only real complaint that I had is that there was no headless lounge at the lodge. It kinda sucked having to change in a bathroom stall, lol. I also wished  Russel91  Romani_Ete and  Hodari showed up. I could not drink any nasty Kool-Aid in their honor because they did not seem to have any, guess they only serve that at Wild Nights... lol.

I would like to once again thank  taillone for helping me make my DTD today. Weee! it was fun! We got to watch Thundercats during the whole ordeal. I believe I might save this DTD for future suits since they are very time consuming to make.

For the record I am still sucking at Poi but that's ok. hehe...

I am still trying to get down that pesky 5-beat weave. I have not been practicing that much lately either, partly due to the fact that I strained a muscle at work a while back.

This one was hard for me to learn. Might be because it uses muscles that get less use than the others. I don't think that is a bad thing since some of the wrist and elbow pains that I used to have are mostly gone. I need to practice this move a lot more to get it down, then I might start back on learning the 5-beat weaves and such.

I just managed to pull of my first 3-beat weave today. I started Poi about a week ago and practiced about 30min to an hour each day. My moves are sloppy but I suppose I am making good progress. Might be a bit easier if I had a real person to teach me, hehe. This site really helped: http://playpoi.com/

Looks like I may have to invest into some glow Poi soon. It would be so cool to do this on 4th of July in my front yard at night.

Well I have just started up this new hobby a couple days ago. I have hit myself in the head and crotch many times, lol. It's a good thing I started off with the soft kind... Anyway, I have tried spinning them while wearing my suit and had little trouble other than striking my ears whenever I did a cross weave. Looks like I may have to shorten them. When I get better I may invest in some glow poi.
