I swear it seemed to rain for most of the entire con, messing up a lot of the events that were planned. I still managed to have some fun though.

My new fan worked wonders. I wore my suit for over an hour straight without any problems. Which helped a great deal for the dance and parade.

That Julie Bunny Must Die skit was awesome! The best one I have ever seen at a furry con. They had a standing ovation and everything.

Drumming Raccoon put on a pretty awesome show too. He sliced his finger open spraying blood everywhere then left the stage to puke because he drank too much. Yet he still kept on playing! how awesome is that? I bought his CD too.

Russel can dance like MC hammer and Micheal Jackson! He tore up that dance floor, lol. I need to get him to teach me how to dance. hehe...

Looks like I may be arriving there Friday morning. After working over 60 some odd hours I think I will need the rest Thursday night.

It is supposed to be raining this weekend, I just hope it does not screw up the con.

I plan on being there Thursday afternoon if all goes well. I am going to have to work over 60 hours this week so there is a good chance I may not get there until Friday morning.

I think I found a good fan to place in my head. It is not too noisy and has some good air flow. Hopefully I can wear my suit longer at the con.

It was much better this time. Less people there so I could actually walk around without running in to someone. Had some chicken on a stick which was really good. Also refilled my bottle with some of the cream soda from Dragon's Breath and it was the best I ever had. I watched a jousting match and a couple sword battles before I had to take my friend back home. The only things I bought were two shirts from Golden Wolfen.

One thing I would like to add. I am glad I did not try to wear my suit out there because it was just too hot, dry, and dusty. It just would have messed up my suit, plus there was no safe place to remove my head anyways.

Just got back and got sunburned a little(oww). Anyways, pretty fun other than the massive crowds of people there. I got to see this pirate band that called themselves the Bilge Pumps and they were a hoot. Bought this massive root beer bottle thing that I can refill for $2.00 that came with a hanger. Met one of my fellow D&D players and hung out with them through most of the event.

I did not get to see as much as I liked though. A friend of mine wants to go and I think I will go back this Sunday. Hopefully it will be less crowded.

It looks like Wild Nights is a go. I just need to get my car ready for the trip and everything.

Now I just need to pre-reg...

Well the fan seems to help a bit. I used a 50mm not a 80mm like I stated earlier:P Man I am a noob... Anyway, aside from a slight buzz it does not bother me much. Hopefully I can wear my head longer than 20 minutes now! lol...

I am going to try and install an 80mm fan inside the head of my suit. It's just too hard to breathe in the dang thing! :P All I need to find next is a 9v battery connector.

1. Met some really cool people like Romani and HuskyRye.
2. I spent way more than I should have in the dealer's room but got some cool swag.
3. I danced like an idiot in the rave thing with a orange glowstick in my mouth.
4. Did a video with Romani and a couple other suiters and made a complete fool of myself.
5. On Saturday morning I found a condom in the parking lot. lol
6. Finally got a badge made! yay!

Right now my only complaint is that I missed several fursuiting events on Sunday since I had to pack mine to to get ready to go home. :(

I survived my first day here, hehe. Dang this suit is hot! Got a lot of pictures taken of me though. I found a few other Prefur suits and we are thinking of taking a group photo right after the parade.

I am headed off to go there tomorrow. My first con I get to wear Rayden. If I am lucky maybe I can get my picture taken and stick it in my empty gallery. hehe.

They smell like woodsmoke after sitting near the fire at Oklacon.

It was my first "furry" con and I must say it was one of the best cons I have ever been to. Very laid back atmosphere and the people were friendly and sociable. Knotcast live was hilarious! I have not laughed so hard in a long time. I tried out the predator and prey game and had a blast! Dang near sprained my ankle though. I think I will go back to this one next year, if I can get the days off.

Good news is I should be getting my head today... bad news is.... he has no neck. At least that's what Prefur told me in a PM. While she was at school, one of her friends decided to help her out by sending a few of her heads. One of them being mine, which at the time needed a little more sewing here and there before it was finished.

Fun stuff!

I may just head off to Oklacon Friday instead. Prefur was not able to send my head due to some snafu with her bank account. I sent her some moolah for overnight shipping, here's hoping I get my head tomorrow.

I am heading to Oklacon tomorrow... No sign from Prefur yet... Hopefully my head gets sent today, if it has not been sent already.

Since I got this journal thing guess I might as well use it. This summer is sucking so far. all kinds of crazy expenses are jumping on me all at once. I am not going to let it get in the way of getting my head commission paid for though.
