Post-Summer
Posted a month agoHey-lo internet :3
I'm alive, been keeping busy with summer work and animating before a vacation so it gave me some time to think about how things are moving along.
I like what I do, animating that is, so I want to keep doing it.
The tricky part is how I can wedge that into my lifestyle for a meaningful amount of time each week. I gotta split it up with other commitments so I'm experimenting with my planning styles. I had a pretty rigid schedule the past 6 months but I'm looking to mix it up with an alternative structure that might give me more leeway with time commitment to things.
I've also talked about formulating short form animations before that might allow me to post more frequently. I have a few installations I'd like to try that with in the coming months following my current projects. Since it has some traction, I think it would be an interesting solution to share more exotic ideas with you all.
Due to Patreon's policies I've elected to move my nsfw work off its platform. In place of that I've been posting developer entries of my weeklies and related work for an animation more sfw in nature but thematically in the area of tf. I'm not entirely sure how I want to build up that platform if I commit to something that works in line with their policies but I'll give it a shot. Many of my current project's entries will become publicly available after two months of each post which members can get an early peek on - or if you just support what I do I appreciate that approach as well.
On that thread there's been a bit of a shake up around the net lately when it comes to what changes many of platforms are making for animators and artists alike. So I'll be keeping a modest size of galleries and accessibility points. All of which is updated on my linktree, and if you're ever keen to see various sketches and (n)sfw animation ideas you can click here to see some of those too.
Since I'm reevaluating my planning, I'll also wind down this journal entry approach and announce things when they're warranted through FA and Bluesky, rest assured I've been humming along with projects so things are on the way, its just taking longer than I anticipated ^^
I think that sums it up, thanks for sticking with me if you read this far ^^
I'll keep you posted when I'm ready to share more animations <3

May Updates & Goals
Posted 4 months agoHerro!
First off, paws crossed that FA's site recovers in a timely manner!
Overall things have been moving along, I've completed a few prototype projects as you might have noticed in last month's posting and I'll be diving headlong into my animation productions this month. A focus on 'Best Buns Forever' as well as an unannounced commissioned project will be the highlight for this month. During this time I might find pockets of time to research and explore Blender's grease pencil tech to see how viable it would be for 'Mea's Secret Garden' - more to come with that later in the summer.
I've also been doing several scribbles lately which you can find on my bluesky account if you're curious.
After some self-examination, I'm entertaining a few projects in the future that involve more animated comic formats - something smaller in scale and more manageable for storytelling. Many of these projects will be featured on my Patreon during their production but the final product will be made publicly available following their initial release as well, one such project with the working title: 'Mortal Empire' is currently being developed - more info about this will come in due course, so keep your eyes and ears out for upcoming news and updates!
That's all for now, may the floof be with you! ;P

April Updates & Goals
Posted 5 months agoGreetings reader,
Welcome back to this months updates and news for my creative ventures!
I have been thinking long and hard about my workflow and considered the notion, 'why master the pencil when I can master the eraser?' therefore from now on I will be featuring the finest works completely erased by yours truly using the highest-quality digital erasers found on the net. None will feature better design acumen than the application of my illustrious mark-removal abilities UwU
Have a fijn April!

March Updates & Goals
Posted 6 months agoHello!
Yes! I'm still alive ^^; I've been hard at work balancing many things in life during this years spring so I've had some measure of radio silence but I wanted to post this as a start of some updates and trends you all can expect.
Each month I'll be making an 'updates' post here on FA discussing what I'll be up to and what goals I'll be seeking out in the month it concerns. This will give those of you curious enough some insights on what to expect.
My Transfur, FA, Bluesky and e621 accounts will be actively updated by me with Fur Affinity serving as my main gallery (if you're interested in seeing my other galleries and platforms you can find it here.)
Currently, I have 3 animation projects on my docket, 2 of them being actively worked on. I also have 2 additional side projects I've been experimenting with as well (updates for those will be posted in the coming weeks.)
One of the animations actively worked on is posted on my Patreon page which you can find here, posts will be exclusive to supporters for 2 months before they become completely free to view for all subscribers (you just have to log in to an existing account or setup a new one on Patreon to view them.)
My Bluesky account will remain my announcements platform in addition to a place for me to post illustrations and other side projects.
My goals will be further refined for April's posting but I anticipate I'll be focused on advancing Patreon animation work & illustration work this month for the time being. Stay tuned for more updates!

New Transfur Gallery!
Posted a year agoWhile I've been working on some projects in the mean time I've also taken the time to expand my reach to various galleries on the net. One of the first I came across getting into the fandom was in fact the Transfur gallery. I've been chomping at the bit to get in and finally I've been accepted! Getting in on FA and TF feels like coming full circle in my journey but of course, there is more development on the horizon.
If you're a fan of the site and you like what I make you can now peruse my works there too! Bearing in mind ofcourse that this is a specialty site focused on transformational works so not all my animations will be featured there if they do not fit the criteria:
Witte_Konijn's Transfur Gallery
In other side news I've been refactoring all my online presence to focus them in ways that benefit me and viewers the best, so roughly speaking I'll still keep the same volume of work hosted primarily with all my gallery accounts, social media will feature some works but act mainly as an announcement portal for my activities while Patreon/Kofi will focus on SFW themes and project ideas that supplement supporters of my work in general from there. My linktree offers links to all my active accounts to date, which you can find in the link below:

Gosh~
I’m a bit short on words but I just wanted to mark this milestone with appreciation ^^ Besides, the next one might take a while to reach 2222 x3 Regardless, I’m humbled that I can make animations like this :3
My future is a bit uncertain, making narrative animations is a tough path to navigate. Regardless, I love making storied animations, and sharing them too! This all feels like the highest form of expression to me :3
If animating for this community continues to be possible into the future, then yeah I plan on developing this format in different ways :3
Anyways thanks for tagging along ^^

New Gallery Arrangement
Posted a year agoHello!
After working consistently on various models of animation productions, I've decided to shift part of that energy into a relatively different form of presentation. Both for my own creative aspirations and by the encouragement of friends in the community, I decided that if I were to produce these various comics, illustrations and sequences I would also add animations and line-boil to do my craft justice by adding those things into the mix.
I had started making animations in the fandom when I saw a lack of it for various areas and I drew my inspiration from sequence comics themselves, so coming back to this format feels like a return to form. I will still keep animation integrated with my gallery work so it will remain distinctive in that regard.
My plan is to introduce some example pieces which I've worked on to explore this idea further, and now that I've gotten a firmer idea on the workflow itself, I'll be looking into expanding the format into short animated comics and sequences that span both sfw and nsfw themes. The turn around time is much much quicker (2-4 days with each piece compared to the 2-5 months for fully animated pieces) - not to mention the benefit of expanding this service to many more interested patrons who have wanted some form of animated work but have been deterred by the increasingly expensive nature of financing a fully-animated production.
In addition, I've determined a good time-frame for narrative animations would run about 15-seconds as the standard with a 30-second option for a two-part sequence - The costs have been adjusted within reason for my time and effort put into them. If you're interested in checking out my new approach and would like to examine what it would cost for your ideas you can browse my quoting calculator which gives you a relatively accurate estimation on total costs (bearing in mind the settings I've pre-configured are designed to be optimal for your project but you are of course at liberty to adjust what you want more or less of for your own needs.) There is more to come ofc, the link for the above mentioned calculator can be found below.
I'm also examining options for YCH productions and group animations involving several parties to divide up the costs and allow for some interesting ideas. I'll also be returning to a two-project formula with emphasis of one on fully animated featurettes and the other animated panels and comics simultaneously. With regards to my use of alternative galleries and social media, I'll consolidating my presence to focus on the work more than the engagement itself.
The next step will be to relaunch my Patreon featuring sfw works while also offering a venue for people to support my work and benefiting with perks like source material, weekly dev dairies and discounts for animated projects to commission. More on this later.
All this said, as of this writing I am open to interested floofs looking to try out this new format, feel free to drop me a line on discord or FA for more info.

Animation Project Openings
Posted a year agoThank you everyone for your applications! I will contact you if your proposal is deemed suitable for the next batch of projects ^^
Greetings!
While I am still working on the final few projects from a waiting list I wanted to plan ahead for this year and begin taking on new ones. I'll be changing up the format and going with an application process that allows everyone ample time to offer their pitch. I will be short listing a selection of projects I can manage for the first six months of this year.
I will begin reviewing applications after February 15, 2024 and closing the application process for a full review after February 29, 2024.
Those of you who have been selected will be contacted when I am prepared to begin each project, bear in mind that everyone will be eligible - it is simply a matter of how much time I can set aside to work on each project for this period.
With that all said I have provided links to both the quote calculator and the application form below. Thank you very much for your interest!

If you have any questions about the process or specifics concerning project criteria you can post your replies in the comments section down below and I will follow up on them.

Posted a year agoI'm so humbled to be followed by so many of you.
I know a lot of the animation I make is often seen as the fringe of the strange in the fandom when it comes to the topic matter I am willing to cover but its also so great to see so many of you appreciate what I do whether its in the art-form or the themes or everything in between! I take great care in crafting each project and have made a routine of involving everyone I've worked with concerning direction and writing for each project, so needless to say its been nothing short of an absolute privilege to have had the opportunity to keep providing the internet with lots of narrative animations.
Special felicitations to
DamnedFox for being the 1000th subscriber to my gallery here on FurAffinity!
As a final note I will probably plan a special 5 second-long special project for the subscriber reaching 1111 as the next milestone (seeing as how 2222 is much further off than the last milestones have been.) Thanks everybody! <3

FAQs for the curious.
Posted a year ago(Note: I'll likely add more q&a topics relevant to this when I think of more informative talking points.)
What kinds of animations do you make?
All kinds in fact! My work here is primarily focused on traditionally animated methods, meaning I draw virtually every frame where movements are warranted, sometimes depending on the luxury of time and complexity I will draw idle stances repeatedly as well to encourage a kind of vitality. I have produced everything from SFW to the Afterdark material to the truly surreal. These animations tend to follow a 'narrative' format similar to sequence image comics you might have seen around especially in the fandom.
What kinds of themes/topics do you cover?
I’m open to a very wide variety of topic matter and themes, my limits are usually practical as well as creative in desire - if I can post the works on my online galleries both FA and X/Twitter or elsewhere that the submission is permitted then it will generally be recieved as doable (i.e. no underage or illegal/highly-restricted themes.)
How long are your animations?
I tend to break down projects a bit methodically so generally increments of 10, 20 or 30 seconds. There are always exceptions to this rule but that will need to be examined in one-on-one pitch meetings concerning the structure of said projects.
How much does it cost to hire you for a project?
Depends! Check my quoting calculator for more details! (Note this calculator is a rough estimation, final pricing may vary due to different variables.)
How does this process differ from illustration commissions?
I suspect everyone has their own approach, mine involves having a few meetings to listen to the pitch, formalize an outline and from there draft a laica reel which serves as a preview animation for the final product. Once the client approves of the draft design I'll proceed into principal animation work providing updates on a weekly basis in the form of dailies disclosing the progress of work covered that week. After the animation is completed I provide one more screening of the completed footage to determine a lock. After this final lock I set up a launch schedule, provide a cloud drive to all the contents of the animation (gif/mpeg, source files, concepts, etc.) and allow the client the opportunity to establish the title and short story for the animation if they wish to or leave it to me if one is suited for the launch, then its published on various channels where I operate and allow the internet to propagate it further at its whim.
I have an idea for an NSFW theme...
As long as you are 18+ and its permitted to post in my galleries then its a potential candidate.
Can multiple people participate in these projects?
As clients, yes absolutely, I'll often set up group chats in discord or elsewhere to keep everyone appraised of the updates simultaneously as well as fetching info where I need it and vise versa. As animators, yes, though conditionally - I'll often negotiate their cut of the budget for the work depending on how involved it is and the volume produced.
Do you only produce gifs?
Not at all, I can provide multiple formats to export, usually mpeg and image sequences are common alternatives to gifs.
Do you provide other services?
Yes, I am willing to help other animators in assists, inbetweening and color work. I occasionally produce illustrations in various formats (i.e. animated panels or comics) though these are more situational and often at my own discretion. My main focus is animation so that's where I like to put most of my energy into the work.
Where else can I find you uploading animation and other related postings?
I use FurAffinity primarily, but also E621 & X/Twitter for auxiliary posts and announcements. I may decide to branch out to other galleries if there is practical reason to do so.
Am I allowed to re-post/redesign your work?
Conditionally yes. I'm a firm believer of the notion that policing the internet with how it uses my uploads is an exhaustive task so I have opted to allow all my animations to have more flexible licensing, meaning most content I create tends to be some form of Creative Commons along the lines of allowing people to re-post them and even remake them in more unique designs with the understanding that any of those cannot be distributed for profit in addition to crediting my work as the original design for the modification. Barring those restrictions I'm always pleased to see what people do with them - do bear in mind that each animation may have their own degree of licensing, some are firmly copyright, others are much more fluid so be sure to review what I allow each animation to be. You can read about creative commons here if you are unfamiliar with the idea: https://creativecommons.org/
How can I contact you? When do you open for commissions?
Contacting me is fairly easy - I check all my various inboxes for updates so often DMing me on FA works fine or pinging me on Discord are your best bets (note that for reasons of security I curate who can contact me via discord but I will see your incoming message and if you are deemed legitimate you can be sure I'll respond in due time).
Project openings and commissions are normally announced here on FA (though I make announcements on all my platforms for that) the plan it to involve 2 project slots at a time (though this may vary) through an application process similar to the methods some fursuit makers usually pursue. In the interest of my creative desire I'll review each application and their pitch for a project, when I find suitable candidates I'll reach out to those individuals/groups and offer my services. This model is prone to change so it might evolve in the future again as it has in the past.
What if I don't have enough money to pay up front?
That's okay! I often follow a half now, half later policy to ensure that a client and myself are committed to seeing the project through. If the budgets are exceptional and/or I have a good working relationship with the client I tend to offer a more flexible block payment system whereby I meet certain milestones before each smaller segmented payment is made. We both want to see the animation manifest itself so I'm pretty willing to work with clients on making it happen ^^
Do you take on private projects?
While this was a thing previously, I can no longer offer private submissions - however I am willing to accommodate with clients on redesigning characters so as to ensure anonymity while having a public posting (clients will receive the original design) or find other alternatives that respects the clients desire to stay out of the spotlight. (Its also worth noting I can always update this later when clients feel they would like to remove the obscurity of their association.)

End of Year Project Updates!
Posted 2 years agoAs mentioned in my previous entry I have been successfully accepted into the SubscribeStar community to begin building my posts the way I prefer for my supporters - Note that some posts will be public because I had intentionally meant for them to be public in the first place or because they lacked source material to justify filtering. If you are interested in accessing early release animation postings and source files, feel free to sign up! You can do so following the link to my page below:
https://subscribestar.adult/witte_konijn
Note: Due to upload limits I can only transfer 10 projects and drafts at a time, so a complete upload of all the animation materials and projects to date will require a few days from the time of this post.
I will have a few more projects that will be uploaded in the coming weeks so keep an eye out for those!
Finally, I've updated my project formats calculator so you are welcome to check out quotes at your own convenience - Projects are consequently a pricey affair but I've broken down many aspects of the criteria to make it easier for you to decide how you envision your future project while also streamlining it for a suitable budget. I will be posting openings via announcement via Twitter/X and here on FA in due time. Feel free to follow this gallery if you want to stay up to date on my openings and developments ^^

End of year updates and plans moving forward~
Posted 2 years agoHello interweb :3
Having spent a little time contemplating how I want to make my work model function in the medium to long-term, I'll be moving forward with various changes both to the services I provide on all the platforms, as well as the format to the animation projects - I'll be posting a few updates in these journals in the coming weeks to illustrate these updates.
Key among these changes is:
- The content provided via Patreon, if you want to support my work because you like what I do, you are welcome to participate - however if you are keenly interested in the actual content of animation I work on, those postings will have to change on the platform to favor sfw material - so be aware of this.
- I will be building a landing page for the various platforms I post and operate on that way its easier to navigate to various areas you're most interested in, be they galleries, development posts, or exclusive material for supporters.
- Updates to commission availability, pricing, customization and application will also be covered later after these initial changes.

Twitter/X & BlueSky
Posted 2 years agoHey-lo~
Recently I've been introduced to the BlueSky social platform where, much like Twitter/X I've been establishing it as a secondary gallery for the convenience of users. Given potential policy changes with Twitter/X I have decided to utilize both of these platforms in posting 'preview' images of full posts I would be making for the main gallery or Patreon. These smaller resolution snippets of projects won't be as useful for data scraping and provide some minor insights to works I've been dabbling with. If you have an account with either of these services and you are interested in following the regular weekly posts I make, you can find the links down below:
Twitter/X: @WitteKonijn
BlueSky: @wittekonijn.bsky.social (Defunct for the time being.)
This update won't affect my postings here or on Patreon, as these platforms will just serve as a messaging system with the community. Thanks again for your interest and support!

Twitter(?) Gallery
Posted 2 years agoHewwo ^w^
I set up a twitter account a while back to accommodate my gallery postings there as well to be a convenience thing for viewers. But I realized that this can be a good opportunity to give you a little sneak peak at the latest development stuff with preview posts. If you're ever curious what I'm up to each week you can find these posts on my page below - to be clear these are just previews, the actual full posts with more footage, concepts, and early-releases can be found with my Patreon entries. Enjoy!
