Whelp its my 33rd b-day, looks like its going to be a great day

AMAZING con as always:) Made so many friends and saw so many friends from before, just was exactly what I needed and could only wish the con was another week or two longer Its also good to be back home and rest but again amazed by how much fun I had.

I've been wanting to write something really badly, just can seem to find the inspiration. Ugg

*insert obligatory post about being not sure why still in the fandom, not feeling part of the community and such.*

Hope everyone is doing well. I decided since my current job was going under to try something new. I am now driving full time for Lyft. I am really enjoying it, even if some times it can be frustrating waiting for a rider. I can set my own schedule for driving and before I left my job went and bought a 2012 Honda Pilot. I love the new car and am really taking pride in this job. Ive been doing it 3 weeks now and the fact that I can set my own hours isn't as much as a problem as I was worried it might be. Turns out I am pretty good at self motivating.
Only problem I am having right now is convincing myself to take a day off because i always think of how much money I could be making, but I will figure that out soon enough. I would say life is pretty good if not a bit stressful with this new change in life, though each day I do it I get more accepting of maybe I can actually do this

I'm terrible at remembering this stuff. Things are pretty good. I have been enjoying a steady job that I don't hate, it unfortunately is going out of business soon but am glad at least i have some notice to job hunt. I will be going to RMFC, I'm still bummed I missed Wild Nights this year and am going to have to make sure to make it the next year. As far as health stuff they think they finally figured out what the problem is with my leg and that has been helping a bunch plus I have been really focusing on health since the new year and have actually lost over 100 lbs... and am feeling a lot better. Still have a ways to go but hey I'm still proud of myself. I really though have not been feeling very creative, with this looming lay off its been really hard to get my mind in the space for writing though I really have been wanting to do so. Hopefully I find a new job soon so I can put my 2 weeks notice in and have some of that stress gone. In all things are pretty good though I do miss spending time with a lot of my friends I usto hang out in the fandom. Its unfortunate to see how a poor choice can effect an entire group of friends for years.

Well its my 31's birthday. Here's to hoping for a great year.

Well I had an absolute blast at wild nights again, I was lucky enough to have two friends along for the trip, True Blue Fox and Led. This year has gotten me interested in doing some more writing. I hope the story will turn out well. Things are going very good in my life.

Thought it was time for another update. Things are great, I moved out of the house I was sharing with my roommates and got a condo for myself, a nice two bedroom place. Now I can have a pet if I want and friends over when I wish and not have to worry about my roommates approval. I have been here now near two weeks and am loving it, only have a couple pieces of furniture left to have a nicely outfitted spare bedroom and then the condo will be completely furnished.

I ended up getting a staff infection in my leg again and this time had to go to the ER. I ended up being hospitalized for a week so if you havnt heard from me in a bit that's why. Had a temp of 105 for a bit. I am glad for the fact I didn't die but wow, hospitals are not set up for tall people, my feet were hanging off the bed and I was inconstantly uncomfortable due to the bed, but the staff at least were very nice. So I'm back all.

Ok, I'm asking for help on this one. Most know that my Element was "The 5th" now i'm trying to come up with a new name for my new car. It is a Silver Honda Pilot, it fits 8 people. Just looking for any suggestions.

I went to oklacon and had an amazing time, I'm so glad I went. I made it back home safely, now to sleep for a week;)

Today I leave the "Twentysomethings" Behind and enter the new world of the thirty something. I wanted to invite those who are around to my birthday party this Friday that a friend of mine has been awesome and organized for me. I am planning on getting there around 7ish. Hope to see folks there.

So... My father and I havnt talked for many years for several reasons I am not going to get into. It had been over 11 years since we last saw each other. The other day he was hit by a car while doing road construction flagging and had to have a leg amputated. I ended up driving up to visit him in the hospital and seeing my half sister again which was awesome and come to find out he has remarried and now I have a ton of step siblings.
Its a crazy world some days... I told myself if he ever got sick or he ever died I wouldn't shed a tear. I would keep being angry at him and not have a kind thing to ever say but after driving up there and seeing him I realized that some times that hatred is only hurting you. He's just a man who messed things up in his life, who made mistakes not the evil person I had built up in my head from my teenage years.
I feel a lot better, even if it took a near tragedy for it to happen.

its Friday of memorial day weekend and dont have a clue what to do, debating going out to the bars but feel kinda wierd doing it alone, also debating what to do memorial day since I have it off. Any sugestions?

So got car running, had 3 job interviews today to fill in the time time till my govt job comes avalable so thats good. In all things are gettin a bit better:)

Went out to hang with friends and when tried to leave car wouldn't start, ended up getting it jumped and made it home (Thankfully) once the car was shut off nothing worked, couldn't even use electric locks so battery is hosed. Of course am seriously broke and still waiting on them to finish my second background check at the new job. I have 2 interviews on Monday for temp jobs but now no idea how I'm going to get to them. And joy of joys I think I have food poisoning and kinda want to curl up and die right now... ugg...
I promise my journal wont always be bitching but right now I need to vent.

Went to Rocky Mountain Fur Con, since it was in town on Saturday and had a great time hanging with my friend magpiebones and new friend Kangarooboy! Got some fun pics at the con and will upload them later:)

Went to AC, had a good time. I am thinking I will need to hit more furry cons. Feel recharged and wanting to get back and involved more in the furry comunity. I am really happy for all the new awesome people I met and my awesome tattoo I got from the great artist D Bruin! I am very much looking forward to getting the other part of the tattoo, I would put the picks up of it but its in a spot im not very cool with showing to the interwebz at large. I just posted one of my old stories on here and right now am having a friend edit the one I just finished writing today, I am very appreciative of him editing it as I have a bit of a cold and the cold medicine is making my writing skills a bit sloppy. I hope people like it. I put a pick of my conbadge up and am very glad that I finally got one. Now I actually have an icon for furry stuff:)
