I'm not very familiar with Deviantart. I don't even browse it all that often. I do have an account that has remained untouched. For those who use it more, do you think it would be a good idea to post my stories over there?

So, I actually forgot about David and the Karthan's spirit in the that stone. I kinda had too many characters introduced and I may have overwhelmed myself slightly...I feel pretty bad about it, but I will try to put them back in the story. Maybe I'll have a chapter dedicated to just them, to develop them a little more. I don't know what I'll do, but I'll do something. For now, I'm going to continue writing part thirteen.

So, I posted a little life update a while ago about taking the FAA written testand I forgot to say what happened. Essentially, I passed the written test and I had to do the practical test (which consists of an oral exam and then we go flying and test my knowledge). I was going to finish that up and get my private pilot license before leaving for college.

However, my instructor neglected to teach me something important that was required for the practical test, which was planning a flight without the use of a GPS (only using visual references and radio navigation). So, since it was so close to when I was supposed to go to college, there was not enough time to complete it before I went to college (and several classes required that I have my license).

After I learned that, I realized that I might not be even able to go to college this semester. That made the next couple of days very stressful and frustrating. After being able to get a hold of my college, the said that I wasn't the only person with that problem and they just had to add an extra flight block to give me my license.

Now, everything is in order and I'm driving to college now. I'm not going to get there until tomorrow and I'll move in the next day. After everything is done I will make sure I have time to continue writing, I promise. I don't want to abandon Verik, especially when there's so much more of the story to tell.

So, essentially, you can expect the next part within a week (maybe two, since I am going to have to settle in to college life, but no more than that).

So, college is coming up real soon. And I need to get my private pilots license before I leave. So I am studying my tail off, trying to finish all of what I need to get done before I leave. Thus, I dint have nearly as much time to write stories and stuff. I apologize for my absence.

The main thing I am working on right now, is the FAA knowledge test. That is tomorrow. So, if I pass it tomorrow, then my schedule will clear up a lot. There is still more to do, but this is the most pressing thing right now.

So, wish me luck! I'm going to go back to studying.

So, yesterday was finally my first Solo cross-country flight. I had three stops before heading back to the starting airport. After taking off from my final stop, as I was turning to leave, the airplane suddenly started vibrating really hard and loud and there was a weird smell in the cockpit.

Luckily, I was still close to the airport, so I was able to contact tower and make an emergency landing. I had someone check my engine and they found that one of the cylinders was almost blown off (there was a huge crack down the middle).

Apparently, I was the only one of my flight instructor's students to have an engine failure when under him and it had to be on my first solo cross-country.

Also, for my stories, I apologize for being slow to post stuff. I haven't had as much time to write recently. I have to work hard to get my Private Pilot's License before I leave for college on the 17th of august. Otherwise, it will cost me $17,000 of classes (flight classes are expensive, apparently). I quit my job at Arby's (thank goodness) this coming Saturday, so I should have a lot more time. I will try to get the next part up before then.

So, recently, I finished watching all the movies in the Alien series, and I fell in love with the Xenomorphs. They're so amazing! So I want to write a story about a Xenomorph that has been conditioned to be non-violent, but he still struggles with his monstrous instincts. I think it could be really interesting if you like fan fiction.

I think I'll stay writing that immediately after Wolfen. I bought an official alien book trilogy that I'm going to read first to get myself as familiar with the Xenomorphs as I can.

So yeah, the weather is perfect and my schedule is free. As long as things go according to plan, I should finally be doing my cross-country flight today! Once I do this my flight instructor will sign me up so I can do it solo. And then once that's done, I'm going to be one step closer to getting my private pilots license.

So, you know my journal about my plans? Well, I change my mind. My power cord for my computer was misplaced, so I couldn't use my computer for a while because it was dead... I just now found it today, but by now, I just wanted to continue with the story.

So, what I think I will do is finish the story here, just like I have been doing and then rewrite it after it is all done. Maybe if it is good enough, I could publish it as a short story or novella, whatever the correct term for it is...anyway, I started writing it today and it should be done soon-ish.

I also changed my writing method a bit. What I used to do was write a long outline / first draft and then, using that as a reference, I would write my story. To speed up the process a bit, I am going to start off writing the part of the story in normal story format and then when I finish, focus a little more on editing and rewording, rather then rewriting the whole thing. So we'll see how it goes for now.

I know I seem to be gone quite a bit, but hopefully, this will be the last time before I move out to college. I couldn't bring my computer with me, so I can't do any writing during that time. I will, however, work harder when I get back.

Okay, since I haven't gotten any suggestions or requests from you guys, I will go ahead and continue with Wolfen. However, before I get to work on Part 10, I am going to rewrite 1 through 9 as one longer story, mostly just to fix some errors that I have made and did not notice and to just make the wording better in some places.

There is still quite a bit left in my story, so you can look forward to that. Once I am finally done with the story, I have a few others that I want to write. For example, there is a werewolf transformation story, there is a prequel to Wolfen, a prequel to that prequel, some sci-fi stories, and a lot more.

I have been collecting story ideas in my mind for quite some time now :)

I am willing to write free stories for you guys, starting now. If you want me to write something, about your fursona, or anything else, just send me a note. It could be about anything you want, though there are some things that I won't / can't do. For example, I won't do any wierd fetish stuff, or anything sexual. What I can't do is unclear, since I am still new to writing.

So, I commissioned  TwilightSaint to create a new icon for "Wolfen." Based on his stuff, I think it will turn out quite nicely. Unfortunately, it is not done yet, so part 7 is still using my own thing. Hopefully it will be ready for part 8! Anyway, I'm looking forward to having a new icon, since mine is pretty...plain.

So, I am a little unsatisfied with my icon, but unfortunately I do not have nearly the skill to make what I want. What I would like is a realistic drawing of my protagonist's face looking ahead while the background is a foggy grey. Kind of in the style of a Metal band's album cover. Like this:

School is being rather frustrating and I'm falling a bit behind. So, I am forced to put my writing on hold unitl I either catch up, or finish is in a few weeks. So I appologize to all of you who are looking forward to it, but it might be a little while before part 6 is released. :(

So, I have been rather envious of all these fursuit pictures (especially when my twitter is spammed by fursuit-makers retweeting all of the #fursuitfriday tweets every single friday. However, I thought that I probably won't get one of them for a long time, since they are quite expensive (around $3000 is the average I found).

However, I stumbled across  AlphaSuits They haven't done much, so they don't have too many suits in their gallery, but what they do have looks just as good as any other fursuits. Their prices are much better. They sell full suits starting at $1000 and partials at $750. I ordered a partial from them with a few extras (glass eyes and a moveable jaw, I think). Which equaled up to just $800. So if anyone is interested in a fursuit, but don't get a lot of money, you should probably check them out!

They said that they would start working on mine once they got back from FWA, so I'm really looking forward to that.

I have finished the outline to part 5 of my story "Wolfen." My outline is not really an outline, but more like a more basic first draft. The outline for this one was four pages long containing 1700+ words, so it's not that simple. Anyway, now that I got that done and I know how this part in the story will go, I will start the actual writing process soon!

My birthday was on March 20, so to celebrate my 18th, I went out and got my first tattoo! It's a design that I put together mostly by myself (I didn't draw it, but I edited it a lot). Here's a link to the pic:

Hello world! I am back from vacation. I will continue working on Wolfen - Part 4 First thing tomorrow. Maybe, if I work hard enough, I will be able to have it done by the evening (though, don't count on it). Sorry about there being such a long wait on my stories, but hopefully I'll get better and can release things more on-time in the future.

School is being annoying, I'm busy with work, and I'm a little bit stuck in the story. So I apologize, but my next story might take a little while to be finished.

I have finished writing my story. All that is left now is to edit it and post it. Hopefully I can get it posted tomorrow before I go to work in the evening. :)

I'm going to write a different story before working on Wolfen - Part 4. This idea came to me when I was very into Creepypastas about a year or so ago.

So, I was planning on writing a special story for Christmas. However, due to procrastination, sickness, and plain stupidity, that is no longer an option. Sorry. I did realize it was a longer story than I was anticipating. So I will save it for next year and maybe I can find a way to flesh it out into a short novella! Anyway, I will continue work on Wolfen Part 3 asap.
