Well where to start?

Wednesday

I arrived of the sleeper train at 8:45 wednesday morning with an 11 hour wait till the rest of the fuzzies arrived to join me. So I dumped my bags in the train station left luggage and went for a very long walk. I walked all over the city and up along the river and canal. Took photos and sat for coffee, had a hair cut...the barber cut my damn fringe off THE BASTED!!!! Im going to have to grow that back now :( anyway. With my short new hair do  bottlenose appeared to pick me up from the train station and the quest to find the holiday cottage began. We found it strait away :) However  foxamoore and  alectorfencer had a little trouble, having driven past the house 2 times already, Gary the cottage owner had to go find them >:P

So Fox and Alector finally made it and happy hugs were had all round. We explored our wonderful holiday cottage, which was fully furnished and fitted, had beautiful views all around and most importantly, was 1/4 the price of the hotel :P

The last two to arrive were  kaji and  nimrais who arrived about 8:30 at inverness airport, then to the Tesco for food and ALCOHOL! The almighty toll of the food bill was £137, not including the beer :P We retreated back to out cottage where alector cooked the most fantastic meals for us! <3

Thursday

We had another 2 partners in furry crime arrive,  kur0 and Duamatef joined us as we went walking along the sea front and exploring the ramparts of Fort George. Fox introduced Kaji to the scottish drink Irn Bru, which Kaji seemed to thing was liquid bubble gum 8D A little too strange for his Bavarian tongue :P Back to the cottage we went and Alector made the best Lasagne I have ever had! We all feasted on her wonderful cooking, aided by Nimrais often. Those two together in a kitchen, all they say to you is shoooo "GET OUT" >8D We spent the rest of the day sat outside on the patio enjoying all the sun Inverness had to offer, In intermittent spells. Eating drinking and talking to follow will we all passed out 8D

Friday

So the con officially starts, I run around talking to all the people I havent seen In ages whilst the other guys all head to the dealers den to set up and be held there captive for the rest of the day MWUHAHAHAHAHA. Not much went on for me on friday I just wandered aorund, Got sketch commissions from  kaji and  nimrais ... If your not watching them go watch them NOW, also  foxamoore and  alectorfencer Give them your support.
Anyway, friday night we all went of to a Jamaican style restaurant which was loverly, but very tired by the time we got out it was something like midnight. Back to the cottage we go :D

Btw, the cottage was about 12 miles outside of Inverness, so LOTS OF DRIVING!!!!!!!!!!! X.X

Saturday

So this day of days came along and I cant really remember most of it :P. It followed along the same lines as friday. the others in the dealers den, me wandfering aorund hanging out, drinking....(No where near as much as I had to drink last year..... I didn't even have a single malt from the bar :o probably because it cost something like £4:80 >8O) But yes that evening was the art auction. I won myself a giant husky plush, just like last year xP and a limited print of Red Lantern with a sketch of "AAAAAMMMMMOOOOOONNNNN" done by Alector on the inside of the front page. I snapped those two items up for a total of £75 :3 Yet again there was some crazy bidding and I think the total raised for charity this year was over £2000, which for a con of 107 people, isn't so bad :P. After the auction we all went out for another fantastic meal...that took a heavy toll on my wallet. Why of why did I drink the very very tasty red wine x) That evening me and fox had a jam, me on my violin and him on his keyboard. Much craziness was had.  bottlenose and Alector had their very own mini concert from us :P We also rehearsed something to play at the jam session the next day. We didn't get to bed till 3am.


Sunday......sunday. The last full day of the con and we dragged our tired fuzzy butts to the con. Sunday was probably my favourite day, Because Fox had his jam session, in which we played a few jingles, me and  smirnoff sang a song that was totally gay and uber soppy, and we all had a great time! I cant wait to see the photos and videos. *cough cough*  equium Get on with that editing !!!!! Sunday evening was the Furry-vision Song Contest. I didn't enter this year :P There was some fantastic singing and Yoshi stole the show away! Well done dude your voice is amazing.

After the song contest we escaped back to our cottage where we had lots of nibbles, dips, and drinks. We also trolled  smirnoff As I had stolen his con badges >;D and sent him photos and videos of us singing trollololol with his badge hung above the fireplace. :P Sadly  bottlenose Had to leave for home sunday night and after some partying he departed us. :(((( Was fantastic having him around with us! <3

Long report is looong...... ANYWAY

Monday... SOMEONE............had to be at the con for 9:30 that morning. So after dropping of the culprit :P me fox kaji and nim went to Mcdonalds of all places for morning coffee, and I must say I was pleasantly surprised! It tasted gooood, After wandering around the centre and fox buying himself a zippo lighter ;3 we returned to the con for the big group photo! :D and then the closing ceremony. Was so sad to see Scotiacon 2 end, but I hopefully will be back again for year 3 8D.

After a quick nap and some trolling at the cottage we ventured on the long drive to Lock Ness, to fort Augustus where the con had gone last year. Me, Fox and Alector had Da ja vu as we walked along the docks and shore we had done one year before. We took lots of photos before driving back. I almost killed  nimrais on the journey she couldn't stop laughing, and alector was almost in tears, fox and kaji in the front seats just shook there heads at us 3 in the back XD XD XD The final night of lolling was upon us, we sat and watched TV whilst nomming on some amazing home made potato soup and drinking of course GUINNESS, the drink of choice for the whole week,Including healthy doses of Murphy's Irish Stout.


Tuesday....NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO leaving day. After seeing Kaji and Nim off at the airport me Fox and Alector finished tidying the house then piled all our stuff into foxes car and we were off. Fox offered to lift me to Edinburgh so I wouldn't be lonely on my train which was so nice of him! Once in Edinburgh we said our good byes and big hugs and I was off on my train back home to manchester. I didn't get home until 11:45pm. I just dumped my bags and went strait to sleep.

Getting a Caledonian sleeper train tonight. I have just about finished my packing and about o grab a shower before I start heading for the station, Crew then at 11:53 form crew my train to inverness 8D I sure hope Im able to sleep on the train. Id better take adequate amounts of ale to put myself to sleep 8D

Very Delayed.... basically

IT WAS AWSOME

spent most of my time drinking or out in the sun playing football and getting very very burnt !!!!


It was awesome to me Fox Amoore and Alector Fencer once again, on one of the nights (i forget which one) We got totally wercked, also with Danza and Lolzbunneh, we made tower of used shot glasses 8D....in the madness, fox cut his hand open, luckily he was still able to play his piano!!!

Since it was so long ago, I cant remember everything, I met loads of awesome old friends and NEW people too, give us a shout out if you bumped into me and want to add me to anything n.n

LOVE LOVE LOVE

well, starting on thursday morning, a very sleepy wolfer trecks it to the train station to start his journey at 6:50 am, on the various trains I saw some wonderful views but the best were once I got past Edinburgh and into the highlands.

The landscape was desolate, and beautiful. Truly amazing.

After arriving in inverness I met up with  smirnoff and Wolf-tail, after checking into the hotel some of us hit the pool.

Thursday night consisted of a lot of drinking, and on my end, mostly whisky....which i have now developed a fetish for, Scotland's drink has converted my body D: Having been warned of the whisky hangover by  Blacksnip sure enough in the middle of the night i woke up in cold sweats...the next morning i looked dead, but it was friday and time for the con to start so the excitement and a small breakfast took me through the day.

All morning me and some ofhter fuzzies constantly bugged smirnoff with useless and pointless questions, including a repeating "SMIRNOFF, whens registration?" this persisted throughout the con :P

Registration was LATE !!!! but only buy a few minutes :P and the con kicked off into full swing.....but i cant actually remember so i shall no go and find my con book.............


Right so to continue this epic, sat here with the con book and a bottle of The Famous Grouse i shall proceed....so after registration the staff and Guests of Honour presented themselves, moving strait onto the dealers den where i bought myself some amazing prints from :AlectorFencer: and some sketches from other artists, all of which i shall upload soon enough.

After this their was a science talk about furries that i didn't listen to much of, but what i herd was interesting, i must confess i was at the downstairs bar drinking more whisky. After this there was the dance which nicely rounded off the day. I passed out right away once i got to my room.

Saturday was a blast from what i can remember, I had haggis and cullon stink for the first time in the "Eat Scotland" event, including my favourite DEEP FRIEND MARS BAR, omg it was a taste sensation <3 *drooollssss* anyway

after the amusic failsuit event run by Fatkracken thier was the fursuit walk around inverness, so many locals with shocked looks on thier faces, and some adoorable photos were taken, fortunately the rain just about held off untill the end of the walk, where you would of seen the whole con dashing for the hotel for cover from the rain x3.

Whilst the highland furr games were in full swing me and  greskil-vulfhart were sat by the carpark playing some guitar when along came the very tallented  foxamoore, grabbing his keyboard we started a little jam and a few came over to listen and from that sporned the idea to join amoore in his performance later that evening so we scrambled to work out chords for songs and try and bone up a little. Fox was due to play on the saturday night but the Auction over ran buy a good hour and a half with some pretty amazing bids  AlectorFencer piece wich was the con book artwork sold for £310, and the bottle of limited addition famos grouse sold for £450 XD I myself bought 2 loverly little sketches and the wolfsky plushy that Scott was dying to buy "SORRY SCOT" all in all in the auction i spent £110.

That night their was more dancing and drinking !!!!!!!!


Along came sunday, whilst the fursuit pool tournament raged on upstairs, downstars me, greskil and amoore got to doing a sound check and some last minute rehearsing before everyone collected downstairs to listen, it was great getting to perform with fox and greskil, with various people coming up to sing, and at the end we played and sand hey jude, with was a huge hit, i think half the con got up to sing and the other half waving their arms in their seats or wherever they stood x3

After this we headed outside into the Glorious suNSHINE THAT inverness had to offer for a groupe photo.

A super awsome post con non official event took place, after the closing feed back their was an epic mini road trip to Fort Augustus at the southern end of loch ness, sadly we didnt see nessy despite  pinkyfox best efforts to attract nessy..... the weather held out long enough for us to all have a meal at a tavern before the heavens opened again during the drive back to the hotel, sadly after this many had to leave, so by the end of the day the final dance was sparse, but what was left of us all got up thier to mosh to some Rammstein (  FoxAmoore wolferyiff AlectorFencer smirnoff and others, there are some great photos, some of which i shall upload here to my scraps, others you shall find if you go to the ukfur forums and search for Scotiacon, or if you access the Scotiacon website and look for the photos and video thread.

It was amazing to meet the lot of you, i made new friends, and strengthened existing ones.

Id like to add a big thank you to all the staff, i dont know all of your FA's but thanks to  blackwolfie,smirnoff,pinky,draygon,ceil fox,scott, silver fox wolf.....i hope i havent missed any one out, if i have ill add them in later....you guys put on an epic convention, and i shall deffinately be back again next year!!!!!
