Well....I'm not fully back yet but most of my tests are done just have two projects to do over this weekend and I'll be back in the game. I'm really sorry about how I've been slacking on reading and or viewing your posts I've fallen so far behind its embarassing :-P.
Also does anyone understand the term butthurt? I keep hearing it all over but it makes no sense to me. you guys are awesome!!

I'm really sorry for not being on here as much as I normally and I know I am wwwwwaaaaaaayyyyyyy behind on journals. The reason is that my AP test is next week as well as so many projects coming up in school so all of my time has been going to that I promise that after next week my life will be back in order and I'll be back to posting more and reading all of those 421 journals.
Until then how is everyone doing? Excited for summer coming up?

I keep running into the same issue that I need to warm up before I draw anything serious...but I never have any idea what to do for said warm-up and so that is where you come in.

I'm going to try and do those things where a person asks a question to a character and then the response is drawn, for one thing it looks like fun and like I said before I need something to do for warm ups.

So yeah let the questions fly I suppose!

So its come to my attention that no matter how hard I try there is only so much storyline that I can cram into one page of a comic and so you guys don't get very much at once. Therefore I purpose an alternative. I could possibly post 2 pages every other week or 3 every 3 weeks or 4 every month. I'd still post random art every Monday like normal but the story would be more fluid. I don't know just a thought please vote on it down bellow the comic is nothing without you guys.

No new page this week sorry but I'm having artist's block at the moment but there will be a comic up, just the comic isn't part of the AFR storyline sorry guys I'll keep trying my best but a comic a week with school in high gear can be a little tough.
School
I'm on honor roll and in History Honors society and the National honors society now I just wish they would stop giving me so much homework so I have time to celebrate that fact but hey life is life. Hopefully I'll get some more time to draw soon.
Commissions
Well if I improve to my wanted standards by the summertime I might start doing requests I wouldn't charge for them but I guess I could take tips or something like that just to get my name out there or "my foot in the door" as my teacher calls it

There was a job fair today at school and now I find myself torn between three jobs that I think I would be well suited for and may enjoy. Marine, artist/animator or a vet.

Marine
On both sides of my family there is a long line of hunters, police officers and soldiers, not only that but I have martial arts experience and am in pretty good shape. Though the only time I would seriously consider this profession would be if America was attacked because then I would feel the need to go out and protect the ones I love.

Artist
What can I say I love to draw, I'm told by some that I have some potential and it seems like I would meet a lot of fun and interesting people in that field of work. However not sure how I would plan on getting a job as an artist or if I was a freelance artist if I could truly make a living off of that.

Veterinarian
I love animals, I've always loved animals in fact I love animals more than I love some people and I know that lots of other people feel that way too so if I could become a vet I could help animals to live long healthy happy lives and in turn make people more happy as well.

So as you can see....I have no idea what I'm going to do!!!

Warning I hate doing journals about bad stuff but I can't help myself.

So at my school there is an art club but I've always been afraid to go because I didn't think I'd fit in with all the other amazing artists. But that was then and this is now :) so I went in with my sketchbook and started to draw when another student came up and asked me if he could see my sketchbook. I said sure and we traded books. As I was looking through his art I heard him sigh and mmm and then tell me the many many things wrong with this http://www.furaffinity.net/view/10384231/. Needless to say it was a rather long list but I was expecting it to be so I laughed and explained to him that I was pretty new to drawing to which he replied "yeah I can tell" again I was expecting this but what really upset me is the fact that he just handed me my sketchbook and walked away, I at least wanted so kind of constructive criticism instead I ended up feeling a little insulted. It felt almost as if he was saying that I wasn't worth his time which hurt a little bit :P.

But whatever I learned a few things there anyway from stalking other people as they drew but no one really offered tips when I asked they all seemed to reply with similar responses such as "study more anatomy" or "watch others draw". (shrug) life goes on though

Also I drew a new comic that isn't a furry comic for once :0 shocking I know and the next page of AFR should be started soon lol.

ok so the last journal posted before i was finshed sorry this app has a mind of its own but what i was going to say is that when i arrived home at 3 i worked on homework then ate then did more homework then got a shower then more homework and now im here and still not done my homework so I've had no time for posting and i don't even have a comic page ready because i was doing even more stuff over the weekend. yeah for some reason my internet connection decided to die for the majority of my spring break but now its back so that's all good. Mmmm what else... I got Le Mis and Life of Pi for Easter both amazing movies. I went to go see Jurassic Park in 3-D with my girlfriend (Not worth the money really the 3-D messed it up in my opinion). The next page of AFR is almost done just need shading and text which I really hope won't take too long.
Oh and one more thing that some of you may find interesting! Kotoricon (the anime convention I went to earlier) has their own version of an artist section where people can sell art and so I'm working it over with my parents to maybe possibly sign up for that next year if I improve enough before then. I don't plan on making too much money would be nice if I did but I really just want to try it as an experience and a chance to put my name out there a bit. But I still have months of practice and what not to do before I consider signing up for a table.

SPRING BREAK!!!!!! Yep its finally here! 7 days off so I can recharge and finally get some time to draw and hang out with friends! Also got my SAT scores back (1920/2400) which I'm told is really good but they also say that I should take it again which I rrrrreeeeeeaaaaallllllllllyyyyyyy don't want to because when I went into that test I had spent over a month doing all sorts of classes and training for it and it would be difficult to replicate that.... but I'll forced to anyway. Onto next topic!

Just had my junior prom had a lot of fun with that, I danced all night with my girlfriend which was weird because the two of us almost never dance period but I really really enjoyed it and the dance inspired some great ideas on what to draw. Also my one month anniversary is coming up in about a week so yay us! My girlfriend still isn't too on-board with the whole furry idea, she finds it to be pretty strange but at least she thinks the Chibi stuff is cute :). NEXT TOPIC!!

As for my comic and other assorted artwork I most likely will post something tommorow and then posting will be random until I get back to school but with any luck I'll be drawing all the time and have art on standby for when I have a lack of time again so that's good. Onto final topic!

I need a character to play a part in the AFR comic and instead of creating one of my own I thought I'd give someone else's character a shot :). Now I'm not going to lie it's not at all a huge part a couple panels but hey its a part and I might bring you back. If I sent you a personal message for a part this does not apply to you this is a different part :).

Anyway onto auditions. Pretty much you must be watching me your fursona can be male female I don't care just send me a reference and a quick description of their personality. I'll pick from whomever I think will be the best fit and get back to everyone once I have :).

A Fighter Restrained
For some reason my mind has decided that I should break up the AFR Flashback into 2 parts (shrug I really have no good reason) and I'm going to post the next 2 pages on Monday which will be the end of part one. After that I'm taking a week off from the comic so that I can post the first 2 pages of part 2 at once (almost like a season premiere :)). After that I'll go back to the one page a week if at all possible.

yeah sorry guys/girls I'm just out of time I have the idea for the next page but I've had no time to make it. I've had the HSPA and the SAT and then a research paper and a book review and my mini project and math homework then I found a new app that lets me watch anime so that ate up more time (ok that last one is my fault but still). But I'll hopefully have the next page out next week once life gets back in order for me and I have both time and focus back.

Yeah I don't really have a proper cover for my comic and I would really like to any idea on what I should put on it?

I got my new jumbo sketchbook yay!! That means I can bigger more complex pictures and comics woo!! the one I'm working on now is probably the only humorous page that I've ever had in the flashback a little bit of comic relief I suppose I hope I have it done by tomorrow anyway how's everyone's weekend going?

I guess I have to face facts people seem to like colored art better than my basic black and white art (shrug) no getting around that, the part that stinks is that I don't like coloring very much takes up a lot of time and never comes out the way it was in my head. So I guess I'll do some more colored ones here and there my main priority is still going to be the A Fighter Restrained comic of which the important part of the flashback is about to take place in like 3 pages and I'm so excited!! However I'm waiting to get a new sketchbook with bigger pages for the sole purpose of my comic so I can fit more in per page so until then you might just see some basic art.

Side note for the last two drawings I used the camera on my phone and emailed it to my CPU completely cutting out the middle man of a cord plus it looks a lot better in my opinion

the reason is quite simple really and that is the room that I take pictures of my drawings in is being repainted and the lighting in other rooms just isn't as good so if I don't post for a bit longer now you know why :).

well I don't have too much going on furry related right now so I'm just going to give an update on my school life if you don't want to read I totally understand.

Anyway I have decided that money provided I would like to major in Veterinarian Sciences and minor in studio art, if I don't have time or money for studio art then I'm perfectly fine with dropping it and continuing to teach myself but if say...a full ride scholarship was on the table then studio art is for me without a doubt, if not then whatever. I've been looking at the classes that I will need to take and all I can say is that there are a LOT for pre-vet alone but I have 4 years to get them all.

I'm a bit uneasy about living in a dorm or shared apartment simply because I'm afraid a roommate would just make living away from home even more of an issue though I suppose company is often nice.
So yeah that's my little rant any college advice for someone entering in a little over a year?
