Posted 12 years agoLife has thrown a small number of curve balls in my direction, one being my vehicle needing some work to pass state inspection, having to pinch pennies, and the latest being the passing of my grandmother. The artistic mood is currently hiatused for a bit. Not forever, just.... till some things blow over, and grieving is finished.

Virus Alerts! Watch out...
Posted 14 years agoIt's that time of year again. No, it's not Christmas I'm referring to. Computer viruses run rampant, especially now. For those of you running Windows XP still, there's one calling itself Windows XP Defender Pro 2012. You won't know you have it until it starts scanning your computer, claiming to be a virus scanner. it won't allow you to do ANYTHING at all, saying EVERYTHING is infected.
It WILL, however, till give you access to do a system restore. To do this in Windows XP, go to your start menu, click on Help and Support, and click on Undo changes with a System Restore. Pick any date that is before the first time you saw this virus/malware. This seems to work for now.
For Windows Vista and Windows 7 users, I haven't seen it yet, but that doesn't mean it's not there! Keep your anti-virus software up to date, and your malware scanners the same. Good luck!

Posted 15 years agoYeah, that was a rough spot for me there, financially, but I'm doing better. I want to thank the few people that actually helped. Granted, it was advice, but still it helped. Thank you kindly, you know who you are. I write this late at night with having to be up early in the morning, so this is gonna be short.
Business is going well, not much time to draw, but I'm able to pinch pennies where able, and make a small bit of cash on the side that has severely helped out. Anyway, I'm doing better, thank you again ^^

Posted 15 years agoI am not normally one to do this, but my situation is terrible. I hate describing it, it just sounds pitiful. No job, no income, no way for money, but I still have bills that absolutely must be paid.
I am out of money. Spent my last dollar for my gas tank while looking for work. I know full well that many of you, like myself, are of the poor starving artist variety....but if at all possible...I wouldn't be able to thank you enough if you do help.

Posted 16 years agoI know I haven't done this before, and it might be a bit early in the game of my art style to be trying it, but I am in dire need of money, and feel that I would like to try opening commissions, for anyone who wants to have me draw for them.
As it stands, I'm not sure of pricing, but I've come up with the following:
Quick digital sketch $2 - It won't take very long, maybe an hour or so, but it won't be cleaned up a lot either. This is done in a gray colored outline.
Clean digital sketch $5 - similar to the quick one, but I'll spend more time on it, make it look neater, and pretty much all but ready to be inked. Also done in gray color.
Outline $10 - It's a bit pricier because it's basically being drawn more than once. Twice really, but this looks very clean, and able to be colored in, and has no scribblies running around on the loose.
Color Image $15-$20 - this is the most expensive because it takes the longest. Expect an image to take a couple of days to finish from the time I start on it.
With all pictures, please please please limit them to one character each. I am not very good with backgrounds at all, so if I am asked for one, depending on the complexity of the background, I might charge a little more >.>;
Also, I am willing to haggle over the prices a bit.
If you have any questions, please by all means ask!

Posted 16 years agoI finally got myself an FA account, and submitted a picture already, in fact, I just finished it today. right now, it's the only one in my gallery. Anyway, I came here from DeviantART, and...well I don't think I'm really going to transfer anything from there, over to here...well....maybe one or two, but not a whole lot.
