A little over two weeks ago I dropped an electric motor on my toe, bruised it so bad the nail came off this past Friday, but it's mostly healed now. Think I bruised it down to the bone, by the valley in the flesh under the nail that was exposed after I finally removed the nail. (and the pain when it happened, felt like my foot was nailed to the floor as the nerves knew nothing but pain for several moments) Just have to grow the nail back properly, it's pretty rough right now but at least it's closed.
Two days after injuring my toe, I try to lift an old ventilation blower from a rooftop AC unit as part of a scrap run.
Turns out I've lost some upper body strength since I'd been able to (barely) move it well over a year ago. (I blame having Covid for the first time last Christmas)
I try to lift it, feel three pops in my elbow and it locks fully extended. I fully ruptured my distal (lower) biceps tendon, ripped it off the bone. Oddly, aside from the bruising in the area later, not all that painful!
Just last week I had it surgically repaired. They drill a hole in the arm bone and stick the end of the tendon in there, holding it in place with sutures. This requires two incision, one in the pit of the elbow and one on the outer side, a bit away from the joint.
I'm really glad they gave me seven days worth of Oxy, because bone pain does not mess around!
Almost seven days later and only two Oxy left, I can endure the pain without narcotics and the swelling is much reduced.
On top of all this, broke the toilet when trying to repair it, but in a way that was good as that uncovered the floor damage under it.
2025 ain't even half over and it's been quite the ride.
Not all bad, though. Finally got the transmission in my parent's car replaced with a used, low-mileage one from a wrecking yard after the local Valvoline quick-lube overfilled it and it grenaded on the freeway over a year ago.
Life goes ever onward and the adventure continues!

There are probably those that already know of this but I only just made the connection.
The NES game Nightshade: The claws of Sutekh has the main character (Nightshade) picking up a crowbar at the very beginning of the game.
Unremarkable to most people but those familiar with Erma may know why that's significant.
However, just a crowbar wouldn't constitute a reference, would it? Lots of videogames have crowbars used by the main character! (Half Life, for instance)
The reference comes in when you examine the crowbar and find that it bears an engraving: "To my dearest Erma - Love Toki".

While it is still 2019 I'm going to be posting a variety of rough writing drafts.
They are largely story/character driven and most of them are NSFW to varying degree.
While I will do some editing (spelling corrections mostly) this first release will be as-written WIPs.
I am entirely self-taught which means I have difficulty trimming things down, expect long sentences.
Leave feedback as you please but I would appreciate it if people could mention aspects they liked/enjoyed to accompany criticisms or corrections.
I have a tendency to over-focus on sexual details (possibly due to all the furry erotica I've consumed, both art and written works) so expect possibly excessive details in that area in addition to my general wordiness.
Being a straight male myself I know that perspective the best but I hope the many works by those of other perspectives that I've consumed have given me at least an inkling of understanding to enliven other characters in my tales.
Some works date from when I was a horny teen/twenty-something and reflect that, though some recent works tend in that direction too.
I'll put content warnings on what to expect for each piece.
I may not delve into the extreme/gross/disturbing kinks/fetishes (I'm honestly pretty tame) but I'll list what to expect in that respect for each piece as well.
I've run out of words to ramble on with so I'll finish with this: I hope those that read my works find them worth the time and no-one should feel obligated to read or leave comments!
I would of course be pleased to hear people's thoughts but I won't be disappointed in those that are too shy to share them.
If anyone has suggestions on free resources to improve writing and/or formatting skills then please list them here!
I may only dabble in writing but that's no reason not to seek improvement. ;)

Rokemi recently discovered that the source of many headaches and sinus issues can be traced to her impacted wisdom teeth, one of the lower ones is almost breaking the next molar in line with the angle it's growing at, the other is starting to abscess and the fortunately singular upper one is growing into her sinus cavity. On the first day of the year, the damn fireworks (mostly M80's/mortars) scared one of our dogs so badly he tore apart a section of wire fencing and got out. We made a missing report with the humane shelter after combing the neighborhood to no avail. Then followed three weeks of fading hopes and our other dog (his sister) growing more despondent and depressed by the day (along with myself, to the degree I can feel past my meds). BUT THEN: Got a call from the humane shelter saying they had just gotten in a dog matching the description of our boy, so my dad and I headed down there. Went to the isolated run (where they keep new dogs for a time to be sure they're healthy before allowing the public to see them) and yes, it looks like him! It took him a few seconds to accept that it was us, then his tail started wagging and we decided to take him to a socialization to have a closer look to be sure it was him. So the shelter worker guy told us he'd bring him out to us and as we left for the room I heard our boy jump against the gate. Then, moments after we'd settled into the room, he's brought to the room. At first he's uncertain, but after sniffing at me he puts his paws on my shoulders and embraces me! (and licks my ear! XD) Yup, this is our boy Teddy alright! Then began the long process of getting him released to us, including having him chipped in case he ever gets out again (though we're going to beef up the fence and look into options for keeping him calm and safe during times of fireworks). Finally, all was done and we squeezed into the truck for the ride home, he was surprisingly calm riding along (though he did sit closer to me soon after we got on the road). Get home, let my mom and sister say hi to him, then it's around back to the dog run to reunite with Teddy's sister. After 3 weeks I wasn't sure if she'd be happy to see him, rip him a new one for leaving her behind or both! But, not to worry, she was quite happy to see him, as he was to see her! (plus being very happy to be home!) Bandit, his sister, had been pretty depressed while he was missing, it's so good to have him back! He's a little under-weight and will probably need some dental work after he damaged his teeth tearing apart a section of fence, but he's alive and home again! Thought I'd share this news to brighten the day of any who read it. Have a good one!
