Petruz Wolves Custom Skin - Download Link

How to use:
- backup the original .vmt wolves v2 materials
- paste custom .vmt materials and .vtf textures
- change the new files names to existing ones for example "fem_wolfV2_tailB_I.vmt" --> "fem_wolfV2_tailB_A.vmt"
(due to .mdl format it's impossible to add additional materials on the fly, that's why last letter can be from "A" to "H". That's why mine are next letter after "H", which is "I")
- materials/textures with "I" are made for supporting tint color for paint streaks
- materials/textures with "I2" are optimised for no paint streaks
- because it's impossible to use two different colors for tinting you can make few posters and layer mask them in GIMP/Photoshop to achieve desired effect
- the same aplies to painted or clean fur
"female_wolfV2_body_skuga" is a leftover from experimenting with female skin (no colortint). Her name is Skuga and she has black_purple eyes (https://www.furaffinity.net/view/48919420/).
You can make her do whatever you want, but keep in mind she likes cuddling.
As it is my first skin/fur customization it is possible that something can go wrong - better to backup one time more than less.

100 Watchers Milestone
Posted 3 years agoThis moment marks a huge milestone for me.
I woul dlike to thank very much all of those who are watching me.
So what now? Well, I have a small surprise. Maybe you have noticed that I no longer have the default icon, instead there is some wolf there.
From now on this is my fluffy OC/fursona (full ref sheet is going to be in Scraps soon) - retextured petruz male wolf v2 base model.
As it is new experience for me to have that kind of virtual body I won't share the textures, but if you want to apply me in a drawing - ask first.
I don't plan any other changes besides possible making making some renders using SteamVR S2FM, as initial testing proved to be succesful and the Workshop is filled with interesting stuff. Besides, who would like to stand face to face with fluffy self?
100 have been distant thing for me, but maybe it will be 1k someday?

Since first day the only thing in my news are relations from what's happening in Ukraine.
From day to day Covid stop existing in people minds.
People around me talk almost only about this.
In my mind there is only it.
So, let's forget about it and let's see how life is going for others on FA. And guess what? War has spread even to this community. I'm watching

1 Year Anniversary 🎂
Posted 3 years agoOne year ago, somewhen the same hour I've posted my first submission on FA.
Even though the account has been here since 2017, my activity was passive back then, just for viewing.
At first it was just a storage for my renders and nothing more, but since one year a lot have changed and it's far from being dumpsite for backup.
Now with over 250+ Subs and 70+ Watchers I'm not going anywhere for now.
Maybe you are wondering why there aren't more watches? There are some with much more than 100 Watchers accumulated during 1 year of activity, but in the end it's the amount of views that counts for me, because it means that someone actually saw what I've done.
And also...
As you have probably noticed, I don't have custom profile pic, or fursona. Here is why:
For the last year I was wondering what it would look like and for sure it would be a wolf. Color scheme? Most probably darkish colors. But what about some secondary features and decals? And here from month to month these has changed greatly. Body build? Also constantly changing. The closest approximation would be Black and Crimson mixed together.
And this is the reason. But hey, it doesn't change anything, so let it be that way for now.
As to what I put in renders, I try to make them in logical way, sort of connected to each other, not a mess of random pics, but more a story flow. Lore and what appears is forced by the fact that SFM comes with a lot of assets by default, but they are related to Source games.
If you are reading it and have an idea (SFW or NSFW) for a scene, feel free to message me. Sometimes I feel burned out of ideas, so YOU may help.
Plans for the next year? Do the same, maybe more in S2FM and maybe give a try with animating.
I was thinking about the possibility of starting making commissions, but as I feel ready, I come across who is having bad week because of it.

Posted 4 years agoSource Filmmaker is great, Unreal Engine is better, but Blender is the best.
Most likely my next creations with Black and White will be only made in Blender. For sure they will be more versatile, but will require more energy put into them.
Not sure about next uploads date, but thanks to your watches I'm not leaving :)

Testing 123 - First entry

Was present here for long time passively. From some time I wanted to post something here and finally made it. Maybe I will later regret this, maybe nobody will notice, there are many possibilities.
As for now I journeyed with petruz models through Blender and Source Filmmaker. Not long ago I started using Unreal Engine which is, as for now, perfect combination of both. Will see what is going to happen, but my plans are even more than big. Maybe too big.
Note to future self: Whatever will happen, remember reasons why you do it and don't run before you can walk.
