Delay on opening commissions due to medical issues
General | Posted 6 years agoOkay everyone, I really was planning to open commissions today.
Unfortunately, my drawing arm/wrist has Carpal Tunnel, and it has *really* been bad in the past day or so. I need to just keep icing and resting it for a little longer.
I'm so sorry everyone. I need things to heal.
And hopefully I won't damage it further, because I have a project with a deadline coming up. I'll keep everyone updated, but my wrist needs a break badly.

voidfaeling is doing written Hostage Hotel commissions (with my permission and blessing), and they are fantastic! For every 5 sold, there will be 1 raffled off that will have some exclusive art from me!
Hostage Hotel's summer season may have been put on hold due to stress and burnout, but I assure you it will open soon for the usual fall rush!

I'm bad at this. I'm bad at things. I'm bad at giving you guys what you want to see because... I don't know. I just feel like my explanations are excuses.
For those new here, I have clinical depression, and general anxiety disorder. Thus the feedback loop of "I'm depressed ==> I'm not producing art because I'm depressed ==> I'm anxious because I'm not producing art ===>I'm depressed" is just... going.
I wanted to do a summer themed Hostage Hotel. I don't think it's going to happen.

General | Posted 6 years agoThe good news: all my taxes got amended properly! There should be no more surprise, the IRS thinks you owe $60,000 letters!
The bad news: I spent $440 paying the accountant and I still owe the state $1100 total, because I didn't know how to properly report some things and the IRS is dumb, hooray!
I won't beg for commissions, I hate begging. I hate it. I'm going to... try to get some big stuff ready to go, but with KitsuneKon coming up and being out of town to house-sit for a few days next week... things are gonna be really tight, and I'm really stressed out about this.
Stream is at 6PM CST. Donations are welcome but not required.

I'm home from ACen. I'm sorry I didn't really open commissions this month, it has been so busy. Next month I will get more on-track. I really want to tuck in and do more icons, but I am only home for the next 3 days before I leave again to take care of my sister (she had surgery last week, it all went well! It's just a long recovery time).
I just put new things up on my Etsy Store if you don't feel like joining my patreon and still want to get things/support me.
Speaking of, livestream will be... tomorrow I think? Not sure what to draw yet. Maybe I'll do some more FFXIV stuff, so if you have a FFXIV character and want me to draw them, hit me up. I'll do some sort of "donate money and get a nice headshot sketch" or something. Maybe an MMO character stream? Let me know in the comments what you think.
Otherwise, I'm exhausted.

Be Brave [Minor Disaster happened]
General | Posted 6 years agoLast night, a pipe burst in my apartment.
I'm okay, my PC is okay, my brother and cat are okay.
However, I'm going through everything today, and trying to see what I can salvage. It's incredibly emotional, and there is so much that I lost that I can't really replace. Old sketchbooks, an old PC, just a lot was destroyed.
I'm very emotional.
I don't want to beg for money, for commissions, for donations, anything like that. It feels so wrong because I'm okay, I'm not hurt, therefor in my mind I shouldn't ask for anything.
I'll open icon commissions again when I feel stable.
Stream is delayed until tomorrow.

General | Posted 6 years agoI'm gonna be streaming on Thursday, probably doing a PWYW because guess who got his first speeding ticket, this guy.
Was going 5 over in a "rich, bored white people" suburb and the officer was pretty clear that he didn't want to be doing it. At least it won't be on my record but it's still like $180 I couldn't afford to spend.
Where was I though? I was in Baltimore! I was working on cosplay and visiting family, and that meant I was doing... nothing. No art but I'm now like... really busy working on Anime Central prep work. There's so much to do. So much. I haven't had time to do things for fun. It's been a lot of throwing ideas at a blank page and going "oh god what is going to sell????"
It's kind of why you're seeing more "good" stuff from me and not so much smutty stuff, it's because I haven't had time for it. But I'm trying. What am I doing with my life? I miss drawing gagged boys. Any thoughts on gagged icon sale happening again? I wanna draw some gags and baggings and stuff ;n;

I don't have the energy right now to do a nice fancy promo banner this month, it's been a rough week and I am struggling.

I just haven't been posting things here. Because I'll be real, most of what I draw isn't furry, and anything that isn't porn gets passed over I feel. And it really discourages me. Why would I share something that takes me 7+ hours if it is only going to get maybe 1/4th the response that some quick porny sketches gets?
So I'm going to just keep on at what I'm doing. I'll post things if they're relevant.
If you really want to see my other stuff, Patreon gets you all of it early. Twitter and tumblr will get it to you after a week to a month, depending on what it is.
I know most people are here for the porn but there's stuff I'm really proud of and it's just crickets. And that is depressing as fuck. You guys are really helpful and supportive, especially when there's an emergency, but it just hurts sometimes to see stuff I'm very proud of be ignored.
I'll return whenever I feel like drawing bondage again.
