Guys my desktop had some issues last weekend and l had to take it to a repair center. lt got rebooted and other stuff. The thing is l did an emergency back up before taking it there knowing a rebooting might be done. l had no issue while doing the back up and l was just happy l didn't lose any data. Everything seemed to be perfectly fine after l got the pc back but...it won't open several of my sai files, it is gonna throw the "this file is broken" message, l might lose a lot of work that was in the making lf l can't find a way to open these files. lf it is the case l might have to take new commissions and refund a few of you because l have no way to replicate the multislots (for example), or not with it being a huge extra work at the least.

l'll try to make things work but l'm not sure lf l'll be able to get these files back 😖 l honestly just want to cry out of frustration. l hope l can fix this, lf not l'll let you all know.

UPDATE:

Been sitting here 8hrs; rebooting, reinstalling, reading lots your suggestions and lots of answers l found at error forums, YT, etc. I'm glad lm so stubborn on these things because l could get it fixed and now l can open all the files that werent working! Thank you all 4 ur help! So everything stays the same <3

Hi everyone l usually don't talk about my life unless l feel it's necesary and l'm afraid this might be the case.

Some of you already know that 2022 was a though year for me and my family because my mom had 2 brain strokes that made her lose most of the movility of the right side of her body. lt was hard for us all but we kept working with her and the doctors; neurologists, physiatrists and physical therapists. We did all we could and even lf she didn't improve at her 100%, she did improve a little bit and, oh boy, l was very thankful for that. Unfortunately she had another stroke today and her condition is uncertain...She's getting hospitalized again and l'll be taking turns to be there, next to her, for her. Once she gets back home l most likely gonna be taking turns to nurse her too.

l'm telling you all this because we already went trhought this last year and it is immensely draining. Mentally, emotionally and physically draining. l'm not complaining and l'm trying my best to stay strong and l guarantee you that l'll do my best to keep working when l can but l can't guarantee you that l wont be slower to work. That's why l'm trying to update you commisisoners and followers about my current situation. l don't know yet how this is going to affect my work pace and l apologize for that. l'll be working and updating as much as l can but please bear with it's all l ask right now. Hopefully things are going to get better soon and lf not l hope to be able to deal with it all and adapt. That said, thank you so much for your patience and for reading.

Not yet! l honestly have been wanting to sell her for a while, l completely disconnected from her and l most likely wont draw her again since l've always been the kind of not having many characters really, l'm just happy drawing my sona and my Sussan, no need more. l'm not selling her right now because l want to get some taxes issue settled first and l have to wait until January to get it started, l also have to sit and gather aaaaall the art she has but l wanna test waters and see lf there's people that would actually be interested

Update: l just want to add this here. I appreciate your concenrs about me regreting selling her in a future guys l really do but this is not a rushed decision at all, l can assure you. Ive been thinking about this for almost 2 years and l've also been waiting for my motivation/drive to draw her again for almost 5 years now, it didn't come back and at this point l doubt it will, why? Because l fully disconnected from her and l'm more the kind of person that's completely fine having one character only, l'm not a multiple character person and It has been shown during the 12 years l've been around.

At this point what makes me sad is knowing that she's all ignored with me not getting the love and attention she deserves and l much prefer seeing her alive in the fandom under new ownership than forgotten and locked with me with no use. I've thought a lot about it l just never made my thoughts public. lt would also make me happy seeing art of her poping around so I'm looking for someome that can give her what l can not anymore.
