I'm a musician. I started as a silly little kid messing around on things like recorders and cheap consumer symthesizers in the early 80s. I learned piano around age 6, drums at age 13, and guitar in my teenage years as well. I've played in a couple of small venue gigging bands but mainly I do it for the enjoyment of it.

I've got this really strong craving to make fursuit heads for all my local friends. Something about how much practice it would give me, give me the chance to try different techniques, etc.

Plus, I really want a photo of like 8 fursuit heads all sitting on my workbench. Cuz y'know... that'd be rad.

Just lazy and uninspired lately. Happy Thanksgiving, folks.

In the back of my head, I have a growing itch to do some more fursuit work, so that might happen.

Back from CFT, back to the normal, boring world again!

I kept expecting to turn my head and see Crazy Joe drive by my office on his trike. I stretch and yawn and say "rrraaarrf." I expect to be in suit when the sun goes down. Oh silly normal world, when are you gonna become the weird and whimsical place that I feel happiest in?

Met some awesome folks, got smelly and dirty in the woods, new experiences, new friends, new stories to tell--just as a "con" should be!

After hosting a few house party-raves for DJ Pix with my lighting effects setup, I decided to bring one of them along and as it turned out there were NO dance lights at all, so wow... kinda saved the atmosphere there! Glad I did that, but I am sorta disappointed in myself for not going back into town to grab the rest of my light show. Ahh well--next year!

I've successfully turned my place into an exclusive furry dance club. Now if I just had high ceilings and twice the space....

My internet sucks lately (randomly dropping for long periods), so what better excuse to get off my computer and do some fursuit stuff?

I'll have feet done by the end of the week for sure, but man--talk about watching paint dry: I soled them (for outdoor use) and glued the claws in today and now I have to wait 24 hours with them sitting outside. Why are all the strong glues highly toxic before they cure?

After that, I'll get to work on the bodysuit and start pre-production work on an otter head ;D Yeah I'll take a couple pics before I finish the feet. Heck--I may even try out that auto-time-lapse feature on the D800 while I work on them.

Almost back home and I've got my fancy new toy waiting for me: The Nikon D800. Oh I can't wait to get it full of water and dust out in the wilderness! >.<

Well AC has been over for a few days now, but I'm still on vacation and still touring all over, using those feets and wearing out my pads!

What can I say? I'm no longer a con virgin! And DAAAAAAMN what a con it was! So many reports this was the best AC ever, and with nothing to compare, I gotta agree! So many panels, so many workshops, new faces, so much dancing, and running around in suit! It just goes nonstop, 4 hours of sleep every night, washing my clothes in the tub, free breakfast mornings CRAZYAWESOMEFUN!

Hoolleeee crap was Floor Wars awesome! Big thanks to  Last-Fur-One for hosting this awesome in-your-face dance battle! Everyone knows about the AC main competition and it is awesome as ever, but this is where it's at when you want to see all kinds of moves nobody can do in 'suit! I can see this getting bigger and bigger, drawing more of a crowd every con, every year!

Also went to the LFO Dance Workshop, which was a lot of fun and great to see the dancers giving back! I almost feel like it should be scheduled for a longer block--I didn't want to stop!

Group photo was MASSIIFFF! 1044 suiters D= Look for me,  wolfang_blitz, and  Canine_Alters a few rows back from front, center, with our arms around each other! <3 you guys! Parade was hella long-lasting with all them 'suiters, but went pretty fast from my perspective. Kage made an announcement that the "finish line" headless room smelled like a ton of Fabreeze (which was a good thing).

Played Apples to Apples with randomfurs in the Zoo, hung out a bit with Blitz, hung out a lot with  KalenStarfire who BTW, got the best video of all the dance comps out first! Check it: http://www.youtube.com/user/KalenSt.....eature=g-all-u

Speaking of dance comp, the main event one was so awesome, I just about cried. Okay maybe that was more because I was finally seeing one in person, rather than on youtube! We also formed the most official unofficial line ever for the event because someone forgot to tell the Dorsai to come marshal the door!

 mighty-creation's show was short n sweet, with crazy juggling and of course the insane balancing act over 20 feet high, all in suit! I can barely ride escalators and dance without ramming into people in suit, let alone pull off stuff like that! Afterwards, he went around to different parts of the con hall, doing mini performances and we kept ending up seeing him all over!

We had a peaceful room at the Hampton, just the two of us--a good spot to wind down, with free internets and free breakfast every morning. The only downside was the inconvenience of fursuiting--it's like you need a caddy to haul your shit around for you or else you gotta marathon it all day long!

I also found I <3 furry raves, and of course, dancing in suit! http://youtu.be/0wTnIl5WmMQ I'm in there a few times and OHHH YEAH, I always wanted to dance on the stage at AC, so I did it!  Renard_V tore up our earholes while a handful of us sneaked backstage to raise the energy level. So much fun, I can die happy now.

Ate at Furnando's, got waved and honked at by Pittsburghers, and finally drove off into the sunset, tear in my eye. Thanks everyone for making my first con so special, so much fun, and quite certainly, the best time of my life.

Well, we made it here alive! It remains to be seen if we will make it OUT alive! Pretty slow on day 1. I just realized I'm probably going to end up on youtube somewhere...

Also, I'm not quite so worried about my head being masssive on me in just regular clothes--there are ones here that are much bigger proportionally than mine! XD

Crunch time with AC right around the corner! My partial is nearly done--just need to sew up the tail and get the hair secured. Will get some pics up, or if you're gonna be at AC, Lumin will be there!

Well, I participated in BWE1 for Guild Wars 2, as a Charr of course.

All I can say is it feels like a long lost friend. I feel like I've been playing it forever. It's great, even with the bugs and UI annoyances. I'm sure all of those will be ironed out before launch.

Well, I haven't had much inspiration to do any more work lately....
I've done pretty much nothing for 3 weeks, but I got back to it last night and I'll post another WIP soon.

For all the long boring hours at work, I wish I could just bring it all and pass the time crafting.

Starting to upload some of the fursuit WIP shots into scraps... I put a lot more on my twitter feed, if anyone is interested but I warn you, I'm really quite silly on my twitter feed!

It is being made. A little cold won't stop me from hot glue fumes and foam!

I need to get off my ass and finish doing this foam shaving. Ugh it makes such a mess!
