I'm excited but also somewhat disappointed.

Sony took some huge jabs at Microsoft over XB1's functionality involving DRM and used games, and yeah, it was kind of hilarious.

But then it got me thinking, and upset, that PS4's biggest selling point is that it lets you do stuff that older video game systems already let you do.

Like "HEY! We're not constantly surveying your every movement! That's a feature!"

What was more impressive, to me, was PS4's newest games, but "you can trade used games!" shouldn't be a feature; it should be a standard.

I dunno, I'm broke as fuck anyway, sticking to my PC.

Okay, there's a number of things I'm starting to get my life back in order (and hopefully repair my reputation here). I don't want what happened yesterday to hang on me for the rest of my life, so here we go:

* I will start working at my job full time. This means a whole lot less online activity, so sorry if I'm not as talkative as I used to be. In doing so, I'll be saving up money. I'm taking my bicycle instead of the car so I don't have to worry about gas payments.
* No more commissions. Cold turkey stopping. Anything I've already paid for will gradually appear, but nothing else. Once my finances are in order, I'll be budgeting myself and maybe get a few things.
* Figure out where my money is. I'll be evaluating how much I've actually been spending, not just on commissions, but also food, gas, and other purchases.
* Move out. I have two different ideas on where to go and what to do. One is to continue going to my nearby community college and rent a new place. But meanwhile I've found a nice school up in New York, near where my grandma lives. I could apply there and live on campus, and move out.
* Finish my book. For fuck's sake.

What I will NOT do is ask for money.
This is my fuckup to fix, not any of yours.
And I humbly apologize to any of you who got one of those notes, for any of my friends who I've distressed with my situation...sorry, to all of you.

So I got a copy of the message mom's been sending out and I want to clarify a few things.

"he has purchased art from you and spent $12,000.00 that we need for food rent and bills. he made bad choices and i am begging you to please refund the money he spent on the picture you gave him. we are losing our home and i am dieing because of this that he took the money for this."

I would like to say: all of the money I've spent on any commission was my own, that I've earned from my job or have had saved. I have NEVER taken money from my mother, father, or brothers. Our living situation isn't the best at the moment, but we are not "dieing". And as far as how much I've spent, that is an estimated cost; we're still trying to sort out how much money I've had/didn't have and where it's gone.
