We'll be at the Orlando Elk's Lodge again this year. The party has a
cover charge of $30. This pays for the space, catered food,
non-alchoholic beverages, lighting, dance, and the budget we use to
throw the best party possible. There's a costume contest, one special
game, on-site video games, and even a cash bar available (we will be
checking IDs and doing the wrist band thing)! The entire purpose of this
party is simply to celebrate our friendships and each other.

Costumes are welcomed and encouraged! There will be a green room for
changing into costume and cooling off. If anyone has some fans they'd
like to bring, let us know in your registration form! As always, this
party is for all ages. However, anyone under the age of 18 will need a
Parental/Guardian Permission Form.

Yes, today is my birthday and Im lucky to have some great friends and family to wish me birthday wishes.

Sadly Im at work and will be till 4pm, then its home and then its to my birthday party that Argus set up for me.

So, lets hope that this year gets better and better.


And for those of you that arent aware, im on a weight loss program and have dropped 56lbs since 5/9/14 (was 320lbs). SO, happy all around!

So, for those of you that dont already know via twitter or through other means, yes I am in the hospital.

I was admitted on Tuesday night via the ER due to a few scares. One of them was a Grapefruit sized bulge on my inner thigh (which was later determined to be an allergy to Sulfa Drugs). The other was my elbow. It had swollen to about twice the size it should have been and I had no range of motion. TO make a long story short - got a pimple on my elbow - it popped - it never healed correctly due to its placement - it got infected - I got hospitalized. So, luckily it didnt make it to the bone - so nothing too serious. It turns out to be Cellulitus. Ive been hooked up to an IV since my admittance and let me tell you, it sucks to be leashed to this damn bed. Oh, and dont get me started on hospital beads....

It looks like Ill be going home today or tomorrow (today I hope).

So far, its had its ups and downs. Last night, I went to retrieve my B-day present from  argushusky at a local massage place. OMG, what a treat. They were so goo, that I might have to go back on a regular basis.

I know my amazing group of friends is taking me out to Kobe tonight.

But the only bad thing, is I have seemed to have picked up a slight sore throat from the hotel room at MP. I hate hotel rooms for this reason. The room is too dry and the air conditioning isnt right, so it plays with my sinuses. Hopefully, I can manage to not let it affect my night.

Good News Everyone!

 ArgusHusky and myself will be moving from Maitland, FL(32751) to Orlando, FL(32825) this Thursday! If anyone is interested in helping at either point, please note me. I cant offer anything except a thank you and maybe a few gallons of water :)

But if I am offline for a day or two, you guys will know why.

So, some of you may have noticed that I haven't been online as much. There is a reason for that, a very good one.

About a month ago (right after Megaplex), I started to hang around with a wonderful guy. We just watched movies, went out, hung out with friends and did all the normal friends / dating stuff. Spent a lot of time together as the days went on and just became closer. Well, as of the first of September,  ArgusHusky and I made it official that we are in a relationship. I don't want to go into too many details, but just say that I am extremely happy, my family likes him a lot, and from what I can tell, the feeling is mutual on all sides.

With that, the house is coming along. Its just not moving as fast as I would hope. But I have to be out of my current place by the end of this month, and the house should close before then. If anyone wants to help me move either out of or into, I would greatly appreciate it. Just know that I do live in Orlando, FL :)

Part 1: Megaplex 2012

This was a great year for me and for the convention. It was my first year on as a Director / Board Member. Being a major player in the convention as very rewarding and very stressful - but in a good way. I love being able to make people happy by seeing how it affects their lives. There were a few things that transpired over the weekend that made me want to cry (the family from Saturday Night).

Part 2: Birthday

I turned 32 yesterday. It was a quiet birthday full of the best and most wonderful feelings that I could ever imagine. Didn't get anything in the way of presents, but what did get was more than words could describe.

Part 3: Vacation

Its over now, I am currently preparing for work :( But at least I have something to look forward to now.

Part 4: Life Changes

It is too early to say right now for so many reasons. I will divulge more information as I can, when I can. But I believe that Karma has finally brought me some good things.

On another note, I am really close to getting my house. I'm about 30 days out and couldn't be happier to actually have this new chapter in my life.

Yay! Another year of Megaplex.

So this year as some of you may know, I am now on Board for the con. I am officially the Director of Security. So, I get to make and be apart of more decisions and more headaches :) But It is nice to actually be apart of something you love.

Tomorrow after i run some necessary errands, Ill be off to the hotel, fursuit and all to get my vacation started. Ill be at the hotel from Thursday to Monday.

Here is the story to what happened Saturday.

Date of Accident: 5/19/2012
Time of Accident: 1430 (2:30pm)
Location of Accident: In front of the Walgreens at the NE Corner of Belvedere Road and Military Trail (FL SR809)
Cars Involved: My 2004 Chevy Trailblazer & 2003 Chrysler PT Cruiser
Conditions: Moderate Rain Downpour + Wet Roads

I was driving to my hair appt today, and it started to rain really hard. When it rains like this of course I'm more cautious about driving and of the other people around me. Because anyone who has I'ved in Florida for more than a month knows that "people" get stupid when it rains. So, after making a quick stop by Burger King for quick lunch, I got back on the road. I had less than 2 miles to go to where I needed to be. I was entering the Right Turn Lane on Belvedere Road to turn on Military Trail. I had the green turn arrow and while decelerating, a gold PT Cruiser pulled out into my lane from the right most thru lane. I had about 3 car-lengths to make a move. I held down my horn, slammed on my breaks, but it was too late. I couldn't turn right or else I would have hit the curb and had the potential to flip. So I braced for impact. I hit her Right Rear Quarter panel and door, and my impact was the driver side front corner. It damaged the Left Fender, Wheel Well, front bumper, possibly the hood and driver door. Fault for this accident was not mine, but the other driver.

So after the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Deputy arrived and did all his stuff, I called State Farm to put in a claim. Here is where it gets more fun.

First off, I called OnStar because the FMV Mirror in my car didnt contact an OnStar adviser when I got into the accident. I have to call them to complain about it, because it didnt do what was advertised. When if the accident had been worse, would it have called for help?

Secondly, I called State Farm. Let me tell you, getting a hold of someone is not the wasiest thing to do with their 800 claim number. After I got through to someone, and got the claim started, they gave me bad information about the Rental Car. They told me that Enterprise was open till 6pm today. WRONG. They close at 12pm on Saturdays and are closed on Sunday. So, I had to got to the Airport Location of Enterprise. If you ever have to rent a car, DO NOT GOTO THE Palm Beach Airport Enterprise location. He didnt give a darn about me or my situation. So, I left with a very bad taste in my mouth and went to Hertz. They were very very helpful and got me in and out in under 15 min.

So, after I got the rental car, I got home and now have to sort thru the day's events and figure out who I'm going to write nasty letters to based on my experiences.

I have learned from this that don't have an accident on the weekend. Its a major inconvenience to your insurance company, and rental car companies. Makes me wonder why I've paid so much to an insurance company if they have bankers hours and are unavailable when you need them.

Well, my "vacation" has come to an end as of today. But with that being said, I am one step closer to being a homeowner. I just put in an offer on a place in East Orlando. Mom and cousin came up to see it, they loved it. Heres hoping that the process goes thru quickly and I get this place.

So, This is the first FWA ill miss since its inception in 2004. Ive been a part of the con by being on security since 2007. I definitely want to go, but with the timing of me buying a house - it just isnt a good idea.

There are alot of people that I am going to miss seeing, and hanging out with. But there will always be next year. Also, for those of you that Ill miss, maybe you should try coming to Megaplex in July!!! Ill definitely be there (head of security), and would love to catch up with ya'll there. Also, gonna try and make Elliot's in May (but that all depends on where I am in the house situation.

So, yes I was there. I was one of the few Maroon colored t-shirts running around making sure all the fuzzies were safe and badge checked.

I was head of security this year and despite the few "incidents" it was fun. I definitely got a lot of positive responses from staff and attendees alike. It was nice to know that your work was appreciated, especially when you perform a thankless job. I did get to suit alot more this time. I was loving it. I finally got a character for Wolfpac; He is now Security/Safety Wolf. If you were there, you saw him in a bright orange/yellow vest and the LED blinky stick. I found my niche where I can be more animated and bouncy! I was also on the Pawpet show twice last night. Once as the fursuiter that ran off with one of the puppets, and secondly when they wished me a happy birthday on stage. I would really love to see some pictures of me in suit this year, so if you have any, please post them.

I wanted to personally thank my staff (Urson, Growler, MiniZee, Mutt, Sasta, and Yuki) and the MP staff for a great year. Although we were understaffed, we managed to pull off a fucking amazing con.

As for my birthday, not much happened. I mean, thanks to Zeke and KP, I got a mention on the pawpet show and had to go up on stage. Got alot of b-day wishes from staff and attendees alike. But didnt really get what I secretly wanted, but its ok. (and no its not artwork of my character).
