Well, I'm sort of back :3
I'm going to be trickling in some art that I've drawn over the past few years, whilst I've been absent from here. They'll be ones I'm fairly happy with. I'm also currently in a bit of an art block (no shocker there), so I'm kinda hoping that seeing some of these will help inspire me again.

Well it's 2018 now, guys, so HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!

As you can probably tell, my art block is finally over X'D I only have 4 remaining pieces from my 500 Watcher raffle to finish off, so I'm thinking of doing another raffle as soon as they're finished. So keep your eyes peeled for that if you're interested in some free traditional art ;3

There's so much I want to do this year art-wise! Still got a few gifts for friends that I want to do as well. I've been enjoying doing those couple pieces and need to draw more interaction in general. I've got some inkwash pencils I still need to try out, which I got some paper especially for! And I've got to get my coloured pencils back out since I've pretty much neglected them for the last year or so. Got a few Jägertinger bits to complete for people too and then plans for my 4 babies X'3

So yeah, got a lot planned for this year on the art front!

As you can probably tell from the lack of uploads in my gallery, I'm going through a bit of a dry spell artwise... -_- This has been ongoing since the end of November and I'm still having issues with anything I draw looking "good" or even half decent in my eyes :I

I may go through my sketchbooks again and see if I can find any friends sketches and attempt some more collaborations of sorts. I'll also be colouring any old lines I come across, like I did with Merewood.

I finally reached the big 500! :D And just after I moved into my new home with my boys, my big dog  Zuthilios & our husky dog, Colt. I couldn't be happier with my lads, they're my whole world and I love them so much <3 Soooooo, good week, yay ^^ I haven't drawn anything since we got here though, so this should be the good kick in the arse I need! I've just been so busy with packing, moving & unpacking the house and working as a "nightroamer" in between (No, I'm not a prostitute, I work nights for the A&E department at a veterinary hospital). So yeah, enter and make me do some art :P

I'm still working through my ♠TO-DO LIST♠, but I've been having a bit of an art block which I think could be down to starting work and just not settling down into a routine yet. So don't worry if I owe you art; It shall be done! It's just some other stuff will be drawn in the meantime until I feel my skills are ready to dive back in head-on. I don't want to mess up my art for you and end up annoyed at myself :3

On the work front, I've now been an auxiliary veterinary nurse for about 2 and a half months now :D I work for the A&E department at an animal hospital. I've recently had my amount of shifts increase from one day a week to 3 or 4 on alternating weeks, so I've been pretty busy. I also work nights, so adjusting to that work cycle and becoming a nightroamer has been interesting. I've also started sketching during quiet times at work, so I'm hoping to be able keep up with that. I love my job so much X'3

I'm also not far off getting 500 watchers so I might do something for that ;3

Thought I'd do an update journal of sorts, seeing as I've managed to make another step forward in my life by getting a job in the field I wanted.

I'm now an Auxiliary Nurse at a Veterinary Hospital near me! My lovely mutt pushed me to apply for work and it paid off within the first couple of emails. Now, I've been out of work since February '12 so I was pretty nervous about getting myself back out there, but my psychiatrist gave me the go ahead to find work when I was diagnosed and discharged in October '15. It's part time work, so I'll be easing myself back into it which is what my doctor advised. Don't want to take on too much, too soon and undo the years of hard work dragging myself back up to some sort of "normality", even with the aid of medication. It's been a long road, but everything seems to have been falling into place in the past couple years since I took the active steps in getting myself better. I know for a fact that I couldn't have done it without the support of my "brother from a white mother",  WolferYiff and his parents, who took me under their wings and made me feel loved, secure, welcome and accepted. I can't forget my maternal Nana though! She's been my rock and main supporter since I was young and has always allowed me into her home whenever I've needed it and was the first to accept my mental health issues all through the horrific rollercoaster of manic and depressive stages.

As many of you don't know (including myself until recently), I suffer from Schizoaffective Disorder. I'd never heard of it until I was diagnosed with it and there is still much about the condition that is unknown. The short of it is that I essentially have Bipolar Disorder, which is the "affective" of the name, and Psychosis, which is the "schizo". There are a few different types, but I fall under the majority with both the "manic" & "depressive" phases, as well as a lot of psychotic elements. I am currently taking both an anti-depressant and an anti-psychotic, which contains a strong sedative. The medication does it's job and after a few tweaks and increases I am stable and happy. I have to stay on it or suffer regressing after missing a dose or two and not sleeping. The insomnia that comes with it ridiculous :I

Anyway things are good. I have a job I LOVE! I have my dumbarse husky, Colt. I have my lovely boyfriend dog,  Zuthilios and my "brother from a white mother",  WolferYiff who will be leaving me very soon for bigger and brighter things in London with his boyfriend,  MintyPup. The love will always be there!

I'm still working on a buttload art and I'm gonna try and get hold of a scanner at some point soon!

It's been a while since I've posted anything, both art and journal-wise.

Well... I've had the cast removed and am currently working on building up the strength in that wrist/arm so I can get back out training again! I've not done much art recently as my soul has been taken into the world of Stardew Valley. I loved Harvest Moon and love simple little games like this in general X'3 Once I'm finally able to pull myself away, I have a lot of lines to finish and pieces to colour so there SHOULD be a steady stream of art being finished as I look for work again! :D Definitely going to try and aim for working in the veterinary field again or anything with animals be it farm work with livestock again or kennels.

In other news, I'm happy, well and loving life at the minute with my wonderful, gorgeous Dog Boyfriend,  Zuthilios, our daft, dumb dog-child, Colt and my ever lovely housemate  WolferYiff :'3

"Gifts"

Hey guys,

I haven't been on the past few weeks as I spent the first half of October in hospital.


I was admitted to hospital at 3am 29th September after 2 days of gradually increasing pain under my diaphragm resulting in violent vomiting, bouts of diarrhoea and severe dehydration. Hooked up to IV to hydrate my body as I carried on throwing up a lot of stomach acid until my x-ray. After this I was put in isolation on a ward as they seemed to think I may have a bowel infection. Pain continued, as well as lack of sleep without my mental health medication. Exhausted with no sleep for over 48 hours until I went for an ultrasound on the Wednesday. Consultant ended up getting a second opinion from another consultant whilst I was down there as my appendix was abnormal among other things. Get taken back onto the ward in sever pain. Tried flagging down a nurse for so long until my doctor finally returned and ordered for me to be given some morphine intravenously. First time on morphine and that stuff is amazing, felt so doped up and even alleviated the pain for an hour. The surgical team and anaesthetist came and talked to me about the surgery and decided to do keyhole surgery to remove my appendix.

I went into surgery that afternoon (Wednesday 30th September). After finally coming round from surgery at 1am, I had a hell of a rough night with the pain and lack of mental health meds (they contain a sedative which is the only thing that helps me sleep) keeping me awake. That day I start to feel abit better with painkillers given to me and believe I'm on the road to recovery.

Next day, I start to feel worse, which continues for the rest of the week and over the weekend. Monday morning comes around (5th October) and the surgical team are very surprised to still find me on the ward and in a lot of pain. They send me for a CT scan that afternoon. Results show that I have pus and infected fluid building up in my pelvic cavity after the keyhole appendectomy on my gangrenous appendix didn't go to plan. I'm sent back for emergency surgery that very afternoon.

Turns out I'm not the best patient when going under anaesthetic and my body tries to vomit, so I had a man pinching my throat this time as I went under. I woke up back on my ward at around 3am on my side and in a hell of a lot of pain. This time I'm a bit more successful with trying to sleep. The next morning I wake up to find that I have a drain coming out of one of the original wounds from the keyhole surgery and a nice wonky line of staples going from under my other wound under my bellybutton to my crotch. They had to slice right through my abdominal muscles this time. I had a man's hands inside me to manually break up the pus that had hardened inside me. I spend the next week or so receiving antibiotics intravenously as well as fluids.

Recovery was slow and I had a bit of a relapse on occasion. There was this one night where they tried to get my bowels moving which resulted in me throwing up this dark green stuff all over myself and my bed. I'd never felt more pathetic in my life. The nurses and staff on my ward were amazing and so attentive. I couldn't've asked for better people to take care of me whilst I was there. My drain had to be taken out as well. I thought my eyes were going to pop out of my head from the pain and the shock as I felt it being pulled out of my body. It was pretty long considering it had to reach right down into my pelvic cavity. Don't want to feel that ever again. Even my nurse was haunted by it, as she told me the next day.

Eventually, after being told a lot of "Tomorrow", I was released on Wednesday 14th October after 16 days and 2 surgeries in a week. I had my staples removed on the 17th and I look a right mess, but I'm so happy to be home!!!!!

I'm very lucky that I had  zuthilios visiting me everyday. He kept me pretty sane throughout and looked after my dog for me <3  wolferyiff came as often as he could until he caught a cough and then ended up in hospital himself for 4 days/nights when his lung collapsed again. He's out now as well and off enjoying himself in London whilst he's off work :3

So yeah, if you read all that, you're a trooper :P I've got a good 6-8 weeks recovery time as my abdominal muscles knit back together, so no parkour for a good while which is gutting for me and it's going to be a good few weeks until I can walk Colt on my own again. Dex is looking after me in the meantime. I'm pretty lucky to have him around ^^

Since I'm housebound, there's a lot of artwork I want to get finished and start on. So expect some stuff in the near future!!!!!!

Had it for awhile, just not used it much at all lol

I've figured out I can upload older pieces from dropbox via my mobile to the site so I'm slowly meandering through my finished pieces and loading a few til I can get a scanner/laptop/computer sorted.

I'm going to safely assume that people have noticed (who bothered to notice :P) that I've not posted anything in about a month. This would be due to my brother and cousin absolutely destroying my laptop between the two of them. So their lack of respect for my property, which I lent to my brother in good faith, has set me back in the fact that I need to now somehow find the money for a new laptop...

I'm pretty pissed off with the both of them but there's nothing I can do about it in the mean time -.- So save I must! And be optimistic that I can somehow purchase something in the near future! The annoying thing is, is that one of them has formatted the whole thing so everything I had on there is gone...


On the art front, I have loads of finished stuff that is just gonna be waiting in a pile now to be uploaded when I can.


In other news, I'm well in myself some days but I'm keeping as busy as I can without over doing it ^^ Helping out at a farm helps and I absolutely ADORE working with the pigs and Hereford cattle we have on site X3

So just a random update really.

Been doing a lot of work with the huskies and SHWA (Siberian Husky Welfare Association (shwa.org.uk)). Doing open days and stalls at big events around the UK. So far I've helped out at the BCA Open Day weekend and the London Pet Show which was A-MAZING!!!!!!! Next up is the National Pet Show in Birmingham on the 21/22 June so if you're from around there come and check us out :3 Also doing a couple of husky handling gigs at the Ice Bar in London <3 Such a fun gig and the punters LOVE IT. Just gotta watch the dogs don't get their tongues stuck on the ice XD

As it's a non-profit organisation I don't get paid but I thoroughly enjoy the work, the dog handling and informing people of the breed itself as well as general animal welfare X3 I'm going to do some art pieces for the charity and will be designing their new logo in the coming months :D

So yeah, busy, in a way lol

On a side note: I'm still open for commissions as I'm aiming to buy and update my current pencils/markers as my mish-mash set are dying off after 5 years :'3
