Turning 25!!! Boy I feel fucking old xD

I know it's not been even a month since I started the GoFundMe, and I know it'll be eons before I see the goals met with your help, but as of 2:35PM EST today, me and my mom have decided to close it early, and thank EACH and EVERY one of you.

The reason behind the early closing is, that as of 5:45 pm EST yesterday, Lendmark has OFFICIALLY been fully paid off, so we'll have more money per paycheck to allocate towards the repairs ourselves. In light of our victory over Lendmark, my mom went on break at 2:35 pm EST and played a Scratch Card, and won a whopping $12K which she immediately cashed in and put on her card so that she didn't lose it, we'll be using this newfound money through that lottery to get a car almost identical to ours, albeit with less mileage on it and in far better Under-The-Hood condition than our car, and remaining lottery winnings are going to go towards Roof and Floor repairs to help make us feel more comfortable in our current house until we hopefully get a new housing situation nailed down.

I have also received some word from a friend who saw me placing an AB Comment on an adopt last week and wanted to make sure i was being careful and not spending the GoFundMe Donations on stuff and being a Scammer. So! To put that worry at ease, that is not the case, when I got my first job back in late 2022, I made myself a side Paypal Account that would serve only one purpose; ArtFunds Savings, this account would receive $25-50, depending on each paycheck. it stopped receiving money when I lost that job, but now that I've got a job again, it's been filling up, and considering the situation causing so much mental wear and tear on me, I will admit I've used some of the money from the Artfunds to get me some adopts or art to help keep me mentally stable throughout everything. Not one donation has been put towards ANY OCs and/or Art, all that has gone towards Lendmark so that heavy burden would be off our shoulders so we didn't feel so bogged down by everything. Hopefully, that clears things up as the last thing I'd want is to scam anyone, I'm too nice of a person to even dare wish that upon ANYONE let alone BEING the one doing it.

So, I didn't expect this to happen, but my friend  JohnathonDH, the one helping me with the vore drive, gave me an enormous donation last night, which I cannot put into words how happy I am for his help. He has been dealing with money insecurity of his own, but he felt it was better to go to me. So, please, go and show your love and support to him. He is the most caring and loveable Human I have ever seen. Hell, he does story commissions and draws for at least himself. Maybe see him if you want him to write anything for you. I'm sure he would love another customer again after so long.

So yeah, our first goal, the predatory loan weighing on me and my mom, should finally be gone now. Honestly, me and her can barely believe it ourselves. There is still a lot to go through, but at least we can survive on the short term now. We still need the other things paid off, so please, keep those donations flowing. We are really hoping that in the following months, we will be able to have some savings to work with, a more functional car for us to drive, and all our other things are taken care of like repairing and replacing some of our appliances that are super old in our house. So yeah, thank you all for your generosity, whether great or small, and I hope that this future will continue to look brighter and brighter. ^^

FIRSTLY, me and my mom want to personally thank everyone that has taken the time to donate what they could to help us out so far, it may not be much but it has already done so much for us with getting the Lendmark Loan down. it's now at 3.2k as of a phone call this evening.

Secondly, me and her were discussing plans going forward, she is going to try applying for something she found called Habitats for Humanity, and if we get accepted, they'll build us a new house, it would mean we'd have to do volunteer work and the like in order to 'pay off' the house building until it's done, but in light of that potential route opening up, we agreed to remove the secondary goal of house repairs. This means the goal has gone down from $37.2k to $24.7k, it's still a lot, but way more manageable i feel.

We still wish to try and get a new car going, particularly an SUV or something with more space in the back as, if we do get a new house going through HfH, we'd need plenty of space to pack our belongings and do trips to and fro alongside paying movers for heavier furniture.

Hello. My Name is Joshua Bass. Let me tell you my story, of how my life went from great, to financial Hell.

It all began in May 2021. I woke up, ready for another great day, to find my mother crying more than I'd ever seen her before, and when I went to see what was wrong, it felt like a kangaroo kicked me in the gut. During the night, my father left us for another woman, someone he had been secretly having an affair with for years. We couldn't go after him for anything due to how the marriage wasn't certified, which in retrospect was a bad decision. From there things went downhill. First off, there was a loan that I actually didn't know about until months ago from Lendmark that we have had since I was very young, and now that was fully on my Moms income to take care of despite it's high interest rate. Then our house started falling apart, things all over breaking left and right, with no budget to fix it. Then some neighbors pulled a nasty prank on us and stole our Food Stamps renewal form, ruining our financial support since then. Then our car started breaking, with us between then and now having to spend 8k just to keep it running, but it has finally become broken beyond reasonable repair, so we have no car. Which is why me and my Mom are asking for help. A lot of help.

Our debts have become too much to bare. We have tried everything we can to have the money we need in order to get back afloat after my father left, but we cannot handle this anymore. Even with me and my mom working as many hours as we can, we can't even do a dent to our debts, especually now that we have to pay for Uber or Rideshare to get to our jobs. Which is why I need to ask everyone here for help. Please, if you can, donate so we can get our life back together. We are going to need a lot of money for this, so every bit helps, no matter how small.

For transparency's sake, I have listed below how the money would be utilized.

Of course the last bit of this is for savings, though for all we know something else could come up and we'd need that money anyway, so that, plus any extra if we somehow get that far, will be used as a buffer for us to ensure we don't get into any more financial trouble anytime soon.

I have done my best in life to be a shining ray of happiness to others, and have even helped those in need because I have felt the same way to them. I pray that some of that kindness can be returned to me.

A friend of mine,  JohnathonDH made a journal asking what his followers liked about his stories, and seeing it made me want to ask you guys a similar question. All of my OCs as of late have had multi-paragraph backstories, some incredibly long compared to others, and it's made me wonder if you guys read the backstories when I spend my time on them. Some longer backstory examples are Veorzo, Arusha, Cruiser, Axle, and Maximus.

And if you guys actually DO read my backstories, is there anything you like about them or how they're made that you'd like to see more of used in future stories involving that character or the story element you like being used again in general? I'm also open to hearing any criticisms you might have as I will admit that I know I am not the best writer out there...Hell, before I even met the friend group I have now, my writing and grammar skills, in RP and in stories, were absolute dogshit, and over the past 4 and a Half Years, hanging out with my friends has enhanced my writing skills and grammar skills enough to access the creative part of my brain to its fullest potential in order to make some of these insane backstories that I love spending time working on. ^^

Welp! Another year, and now I'm 23 on here XwX

Soooo.....for the past year and a half, a good friend of mine has been working on something alongside me and one of our other mutually close friend. Something that we find very special and are now happy to publicly share with all of you and this community. It is a custom species that he had originally came up with, and we both have greatly helped him to develop and flesh out the species and their details over all of this time. And it is with great pleasure that we are able to introduce................

The Autosaurian species

What are these "Autosaurians" you might ask? They are a new and unique species, complete with several sub-species as well. Over this time of developing them, we have made several of our own to showcase various things about the species, and me and them have been preparing, and will be posting our items soon, with more to follow. But instead of writing out everything we have come to develop about them, we instead all collaborated and made documents that contains all information that one would need to know about the species, as well as a list containing the abilities of the species, which are linked down below.

At the moment, the common type is an open species, HOWEVER! A majority of the other sub-species are closed and to remain closed, until an auction or giveaway for one of the closed species is hosted, which we will likely give prior notification of this. And, in case someone is wondering, the species is completely straight, and this is part of their lore and not to be changed in any way whatsoever.
