After much consideration, I have decided to create a new account. I really wanted my account name to be Hyginx but FA didn't want people to switch usernames (which is understandable), so I have decided to switch accounts.

I will be reuploading some of my work (but not all of it). Once I have finished reposting my artwork, I will begin posting a few more pictures here before completely abandoning this account. Please do note that the new pictures will be posted on my new account first.

Why am I doing this now? Well, it's because I have some really nice pictures from my trip to the USVI which I am hoping will help recuperate the loss in watchers.

I recently got the new Pokemon game and have been working on hunting a shiny salandit (one appeared, but I killed it with giga impact because I wasn't paying attention. ;n;). In order to make things easier, I made a program that helps keep track of moves, encounters, and odds percentage. I want this program to be as good as possible so if you shiny hunt in Sun/Moon using the S.O.S. method (or know someone who does), then please give this application a try and let me know what you think. Okay, yeah, I'm sorry about the past few days of negligence. I tend to forget a lot of things. As a result, I forgot to upload all the pictures. I will be resuming it today after I get out of class later. So once again I must apologize for not keeping my promise.

I wanted to say sorry for not uploading anything yesterday. I was busy doing a few things and when I got some free time, I had completely forgotten about it. I will upload 10 pictures today instead of 5 after I take my midterm exam. :3

I'm going to be uploading some photos I took on a recent trip i went on. I will try to spread them out so as to not overload your submissions box with my stuff. I'll do maybe 5 a day (if I get around to it) which should last for about 10 days. Hope you guys like them!

I'm not the one that likes to put value on my work, but if you could, would you buy prints of my photography or some of my digital paintings? if so, how large would they be and what would you pay for them? For example, a 12x18 inch print costs me around $20 to produce, so n order for me to make a profit, I would charge around $25-$30.

Also, I'm considering entering one of my photographs into the Anthrocon art gallery for sale. All profit will go directly to the charity they selected that year and the print will be a limited print (probably a 1/5 or 1/10).

Damn, that was a nice vacation. First Anthrocon for four days and then the beech for a full week! Such an awesome way to round up the summer. I now have a month until I have to head back to class, which means my activity will decrease A LOT!!! Seriously, I have 17 credit hours and am going to have to spend a huge amount of time on programming java, which means that I am going to have to crunch a lot of the assignments for other courses. To top it off, I have a job that I need to keep, which means that I will have even less time to do everything. On the bright side, I got friends to help me out with assignments, so that should make it easier.

As for the photos, I got the new Canon Rebel EOS T5i (which I love) right before leaving for the beech, so for those of you that keep an eye on my page, expect some more photos of higher quality! I'm going to be uploading some pictures of sunrises, animals, plants, and random things that I thought were interesting. I also plan on visiting the zoo soon (hopefully before classes start), but it's an hour and a half away from where I live, and after 2 weeks off of work, I'm probably going to working a lot. Either way, I'm going to try and make the last month of summer break the most active! Here's to 31 days of productivity! (hopefully)

Anthrocon was amazing and everything that I could hope for (except for a few things concerning my fursuit). Being able to meet so many people and check out so many things was an amazing experience and I can't wait for next year! I even got to see Paradox and Fayroe from the Furcast, but unfortunately, i didn't get the chance to sit down a chat with them. But hey, there's always next year.

Now that I am back from Anthrocon, I have to sort through all of the pictures I took and get ready for the beach trip on Friday (might take some pictures then). If you take a look at my photos, you would know that the majority of them are still life/scenery and don't often contain people. This will be the case for most of the pictures I upload, but some of them will contain fursuiters, other people, and myself. So keep a look out for them!

In case you haven't heard (which would boggle me if you hadn't), Dr. Phil tried to get some furries on his show tonight and winded up doing almost exactly what I had predicted him to do. In my first post about Dr. Phil (http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/5410364/), I explained why I thought he was doing what he is doing, and surprisingly, I was right on the money. Tosh already had Boomer (the guy that dresses as a dog) on his show, but no one in the right mind would take him seriously because of the nature of his profession, and while I have no problem with people that have species dysphoria, Boomer seems a little creepy. The way he looks and acts kinda gives of a disturbing vibe to me. But that is probably why Dr. Phil selected him. Hell, I'd say that Dr. Phil is more like Boomer than he realizes. I mean look at him, it's obvious. He looks like a jackass, he talks like a jackass, and he acts like a jackass.

As for the women with the rabbits, I'm don't know much about her. I understand the desire to care for something as adorable as a bunny, but to go as far as breast feed it is a little much. I can't say much about her because I don't know much about her, but I can say with certainty that I am a little off put by her nature.

Now for some fun facts about Dr. Phil. The only reason why he can still say he is a doctor is because he claims that it's for entertainment purposes. He lost his practice license in psychology in 2004 for having a "duel relationship" with a patient, meaning that what he is not allowed to practice psychology. The majority of the psychological community doesn't agree with his methods and "is considered to be a joke." He agrees that it takes more than one session to obtain any sort of accomplishment and yet he claims that he has "fixed" people (no 30 minute session will solve a problem). Dr. Phil has been affiliated with multiple scandals including a 2004 class-action lawsuit over his diet supplements for Shape Up! for $10 million dollars. While he does use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), which is considered effective, his actions during the sessions could prove problematic to some. Examples of this aare his classic "I can't believe what I'm hearing" look where he widens his eyes and drops his jaw and his heavily sarcastic insults. Such an act, in my opinion, is unprofessional.

In short, I have a strong dislike toward Dr. Phil and do so wish that I could speak to the people that watch his show.

Just today I looked at my messages and noticed that it said 1000, and because 555 of them are submissions, i figured that i should give a shoutout to all the people that I am watching and who are watching me! With me watching only 17 people, it is nice to know that you are all willing to continue to contribute to this site. If you live in the Charlotte area, I need a few other people to come with me to Anthrocon in order for me to be able to afford it. It will be $300 (if three people agree to come with) and will cover a hotel room across the street from the con for 3 nights (Thursday, Friday, and Saturday), the ticket for the con, and $50 for gas. The $50 gas money will be put into a kitty so any money not spent on gas will be redistributed equally (meaning you will probably be spending a little less). If you decide you want to come, we will be leaving early Thursday morning and leave at around noon on Sunday. This is the only way I can afford to go, so please notify me by February 3rd (when rooms become available) if you want to join in on the fluffy, fuzzy, furry adventure to the largest furry convention in the world! The best part about this is that everyone saves money!!!!

Furries on Dr. Phil? Hell, I didn't know anyone watched that guy anymore. I thought he died of a heart attack or something a long time ago. But seriously, does anyone still watch this guy? If i had to make a guess, he is more than likely desperate for people to start watching his show. We see the same thing happen over and over again with other topics such as violent video games influencing violent actions. It doesn't matter what the evidence presents, the media will lie through their teeth and misinform their audiences because they know that they won't look up the details of the story. Video games with violent actions. Furries with sexual desires. Even lawsuits such as the Zimmerman case that outlined it as pure racism instead of covering the details that would be/was laid out in court. The truth is, Dr. Phil is going to look as hard as he can to find the most batshit crazy furry that resembles the complete opposite of what the majority of the subculture DOES NOT agree with. And you know what? Most of the people that watch that show probably will not know what a furry really is. I don't really care what the outside world thinks, I am who I am and they will have to deal with that, but i do care what the furry community thinks. It's hard to explain, but it's kind of like when a close friend is upset about what someone else says and you get upset because they are, despite not caring about who said what. To sum it up, Dr. Phil is a perfect example of what the media does when they start to lose ratings. Lie to your face in order to cause mass conflict between people.

I wont go into the details, you can see them at her page, but she is hosting an auction for the most adorable FENNEKIN/Braixen fursuit i have ever seen! Okay, so this is the only FENNEKIN/Braixen fursuit i have ever seen, but it still looks adorable and down right amazing!
