How many of you know about/are interested in Nordic Mythology? (Odin, Asgard, Loki, etc. etc.) For me, it's got one of the most fascinating pantheons, and the stories are so interesting! I find myself looking back into it every now and then, and illustrating the gods and their tales. This is one of those times! UUUGH I can talk about it forever, especially Loki and his children. I'M LIKE A FANGIRL FOR RELIGION WHAT IS THIS.

On top of that question, have you read American Gods? I finished it recently, and hot damn do I recommend it!

Any online showing of my art is going to be just that-- a place where my art goes. And I art my interests, and those things are my interests at the moment. But I sometimes wonder if it BOTHERS anyone that there's so little variety, you know?

So, it dawned on me that very little thought ever goes into my fursona. I just kind of go with it as it suits my general self. I've had this freakin' thing for seven years, and it's changed a lot since then. I used to worry that it was a weird sparkledog thing, but then I remember that it's just a character that I use to represent myself, and that it doesn't matter how unoriginal it is, as long as I am satisfied, and as long as I can connect with it.

Is it the same way for you? Do you put a lot of thought into your character reflecting yourself? Does it have any specific traits that are special to you, and how it reflects who you are? :)

As for me, I don't think I am a dog. I think I am some kind of rodent or something. (Maybe a mustelid or armadillo-- something small, nocurnal, and aggressive idk I always have trouble thinking of options.) But my fursona started out as a wolf, and I wanted it to stay canid. A few years ago, I stumbled across a picture of a shiba inu puppy. I thought it was the cutest thing in the world, so I WIKI'D DAT SHIT. I thought that the specific breed reflected my personality a lot, and hey it's short and fluffy and has teenytiny ears too! Grey and orange is kind of a silly color scheme, but it sticks. :3

I am not sure if this can be fixed, but TF2 lags very badly for me, especially lately. I found out that it's my connection, as it works fine when I am at my friend's house. Is there any way to fix this? I began hooking up with the ethernet, which worked really well for a bit, but now I lag even with that. It's very frustrating, especially because omg it's so hard to actually get good at the game because I can't see what I am doing half the time.
Anyway, any help would be amaaazing I will draw you things if you can fix my problem omygosh

Some peeps and I are going as various classes from TF2. UUUUNFORTUNATELY I am a huge baby and I can't think of a cosplay <__> I was gonna go for either BLU medic or pyro (MAAAYBE even scoot or solly, but less likely because EVERYONE IS A FUCKIN SCOUT, and I never play as Soldier lol)

The thing about being a medic is, though it's my favourite class, I don't think I have a good build or face for it. I know, I know, it really doesn't matter as long as I have fun but I reeally have no self-confidence. ALSO MY BOOBS ARE LIKE PLANETS binding would be so mega painful. So should I suck it up and go medic, or see how fun it would be to go pyro? Or something else entirely?

I am so new to this ohmygod. I think I want to start off as a Medic, so that way I can follow other players and learn how THEY play, without getting in the way! ALSO I CAN HEAL YOUR BOOBOOS WITH KISSES or a gun or whateverrrr same thing jeez.

I've been having some issues with my friends involving pot. My view on it is that I've no real issue with the drug itself; I'm not straight edge, nor do I truly abhor it, but some aspects of the lifestyle kind of irk me.

I've tried it, but haven't touched it since I did about for years ago. Lately, my friends have been really into it, smoking every other day for kicks. Personally, I see it as a social thing to do no more than every few weeks or so, and not something to do "just cuz it's funlolsolsol." (I feel the same way about drinking, actually hah!) I don't like it when I see people obsessing over it, or any mind-altering thing. People who have come to depend on it. Who can't function unless they smoke it every day. (This excludes medical reasons, I suppose...?) I feel that there are other ways to be happy and relaxed. I used to exercise every day, and I felt great. Natural high.
I do understand the idea of experiencing another state of consciousness. It's interesting, really. But I feel that it's abused far too much. Over indulgence of anything can be terrible, you know?

It's starting to tear my friendships apart, though I'm trying to work on being more tolerant myself.

I just wanted to share my opinion, and get yours! What do you think of it, and things like it?

Nah... but... I want to apologise for the lack of erm... decent artwork. :X I know that I can definitely do better, but I've lacked motivation ever since I left high school. I really enjoy doodling, but I hate forcing myself to finish things. It's terrible, really. So my art has been mediocre at best. I do hope it's still enjoyable though! Maybe when I get to college I'll get back i the groove! Or maybe even as close as winter, as I'll be holed up in my little cozy room to avoid the cold, new york winter!
