So last night, some fucking moron contacted me on Telegram wanting to buy two of my designs that have already been made. He asks if I'll sell him one of my personal characters, Phora the Xenof, as seen here.

I told him no, repeatedly, but that I'd be happy to make him another character. I tried to be kind, I tried to give him the benefit of the doubt, but this little shitmonger fucking STOLE my character, and there's not a thing I can do about it!
So, if anyone comes into contact with PhoratheXenof on telegram, that is NOT me! That is a fucking asshole troll that stole my characters and is now asking others to draw him in unsavory situations and ways!

This TOS has been adapted loosely from Daemon_Lady and Zephrynatrinity’s TOS’s
ART TOS
💛I only accept Paypal for online commissions.
💛At conventions, I accept cash, cards via Square, and Paypal.
-If I know you in real life and you live within 20 miles of me, I’ll accept cash or alternate, pre-agreed upon forms of payment.
💛The full payment needs to be received before starting.
-I only offer partial payments on pieces priced at or over $50, but I will wait until the final payment is received before starting.
💛I only offer refunds up until the sketch is done and you’ve approved it.
-If, for whatever reason, I need to cancel the commission, a full refund will be issued.
💛I reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason.
💛I have two queues that I work from: an art queue, and a resin charm queue. These are done in tandem and typically on a first come, first serve basis.
💛I make all major changes at the sketch phase. If I’ve already lined it, you’re out of luck.
💛If I make a mistake on markings or anything minor, let me know asap so I can correct it.
💛If a resin charm or physical copy of a digital badge is lost and you'd like another copy, let me know and I can recreate it for a small fee to cover materials and shipping.
💛You may not create bases, trace, or heavily reference any artwork that you have commissioned from me. This is not a negotiation, and doing so will get you automatically blacklisted from ever commissioning me again.
💛You may not otherwise edit or make changes to my artwork unless given permission directly.
💛Please understand and respect that I have a life outside of my computer.
ADOPT TOS
💛The full payment must be made within 24 hours, unless we discussed it otherwise and an agreement has been made.
💛Once paid for, the character is yours to do with as you please. This includes changing their markings, gender, name, etc., provided the character is still recognizable.
💛You cannot resell an adopt for more than you bought it for, unless you bought additional art or physical products for the character.
💛You may not make alterations to the original artwork of the adopt, unless you are given permission directly.
FURSUIT TOS
💛A 30% down payment will be expected up front to be used for materials.
-I don’t offer partial payments on head bases.
💛Shipping fees are the client's responsibility. When the item is completed, I will get a shipping quote on it, and when the fee is paid, the item will be sent.
💛I reserve the right to cancel and refund a commission for any reason.
💛A clear reference is required to get you an accurate quote.
💛I do not currently take rush orders. If you need it by a certain date, I can try to accommodate it.
💛WIP photos and/or videos will be given at each step.

I slowed down and halted my commission work for most of November and December due to travelling, holiday, and certain issues between my home and life itself, but I'm back on track now and better than ever, and really, I just wanted to take the time to say thank you.
Sincerely, truly, and thoughtfully, thank you all.
I've gotten so many opportunities in the last two weeks than I ever could have imagined, and I have to say that I appreciate everyone who got me to this point in my life, every conversation, every commission, and every friendship I've made, where I can support myself doing what I love, and I can only hope to grow even more as a person and an artist from here.
So yeah, I just had to take a minute, because I just needed to ramble on and say how grateful I truly am, and I hope everyone out there reading this has a wonderful day <3

General | Posted 8 years agoDon'tcha just love the start of the year when incoming freshmen bring all sorts of diseases onto campus?
I managed to catch a bug that started getting worse on Thursday, and put me fairly well out of commission all weekend. But I'm getting back on my feet, and I'll be working on sketches for clients tomorrow, and trying to put out some smaller stuff that I owe!

To any current art commissioners, sorry about the delays! I'm usually much more timely than this, but with Next to Normal in dress rehearsals and opening tonight and The Book Club Play going into tech week on Monday, I've been a little low on energy.

Vacation! Digital coms closed til 5/29, traditional open!

I'm not entirely sure how easy I'll be to get a hold of communication wise, and I won't be bringing my digital art things with me. However, I have a brand new sketch book and I'll be bringing my traditional art supplies, so this is a fantastic time to get a traditional piece from me!
All my badges are backed with sturdy scrapbook paper, laminated in 5mm, clipped, and shipped directly to you.
Headshots and chibis start at $35
I'm willing to do colorless line art or MLP style as well

New Intuos Tablet Help???
General | Posted 9 years agoI got a new tablet today, and I can't get the pen pressure to work in SAI at all. It works in Photo Shop Elements, so it should work in Sai, BUT I GUESS NOT???
On top of that, the software bundle key I was given with it is either invalid or has already been used??? IT'S A BRAND NEW TABLET, THE THING WAS SEALED, IT SHOULD WORK.
It's the medium Creative Pen and Touch tablet.

Negative WELL KNOWN COMPANY Review - Tombo's Kigurumi

FOR THOSE WONDERING JUST WHO THIS VERY WELL KNOWN COMPANY IS, CHECK OUT MY FACEBOOK JOURNAL HERE
On the 17th of march, I submitted a reference to them for a quote for a custom kigurumi of Tombo, my beloved wickerbeast.
Their first correspondence with me was on the 22nd, where they linked me to a custom listing page for me to look over and purchase my design if I so desired. The first thing I noticed on this listing was that the navy markings on her body were listed as black
I mentioned this to them, and they assured me they would correct it. I paid the sum of $540 on the 10th of April.
I did not hear from them again until May 18th, when they updated me on the status of my commission to let me know that my kigu would be finished within the week. Nine days passed with no response and I poked them to see if perhaps they had forgotten
On June 3rd, as my partner and I were driving to Akon, they responded with WIP pictures that were not mine. I informed them of this on the same day.
I received my actual WIP pictures on June 16th, almost a full month after they stated they would be sent to me for approval. I emailed them again asking for an update, which they did not respond to for 6 days.
The ears on the kigurumi were done very differently than how my reference depicts them (wickerbeast ears point straight backwards, and you are unable to see the inner ear at all, while these stuck straight up out of the head like rabbit ears). I requested this be changed, and also inquired about the darkest color on the kigurumi.
I was assured that it was not black, but a dark navy, and that they would be more than happy to fix the ears. I thanked them and let them know that I’m excited to see the updated pictures of her.
I hear nothing from them until July 12th, when a shipping notification appeared in my inbox. I received nothing stating she had been finished, nor any updated pictures on this matter, despite having asked for them.
A friend directed me to someone who was on their staff, who assured me that the kigurumi was completed and looked nice, and let me know that they don’t usually send out update pictures of what qualifies as smaller fixes (I had asked for them, though not directly).
The kigurumi arrived on July 14th.
Upon pulling it out of the box, there were problems.
It was fairly obvious that the darkest color used on her was not a ‘dark navy’ as promised, but a black fleece. We have taken pictures of it next to a bolt of black fleece we had in our garage.
Something that was also not seen on the pictures that were sent to me were the markings on her hands. The spirals are going the wrong direction, and the additional one that was near her thumb was swapped to the other side of her hand.
The quality was decent, although I do have some complaints, due to the high price tag that I would have thought would have been taken care of. For example, the button holes are not finished. They have a line of straight stitching around them, but the edges themselves are raw. Pushing the large buttons through them have already snapped a thread.
The horns on the hood have raw edges showing. The fingers on the attached gloves have no lining on the inside, which leaves the interfacing exposed. Due to this, the gloves are very uncomfortable and somewhat ‘crunchy’.
All in all, this was not worth the price I paid.
I have contacted them and I am waiting on a solution to this problem from them. After that, I’ll see what sort of steps to take.
What I received was not my character, and getting them to communicate with me has been like pulling teeth. I would not recommend doing business with them.
Attached are the email correspondence I had with them, including the two instances where I attempt to make it clear that she has navy markings and not black ones, along with pictures of the kigurumi itself.
They have been emailed about this and I am waiting to see what they offer in terms of fixing this. I will update this once I have made my decision.
