+ have teamed up for 's comission, like it said in the info, it was quite a wait for it, but to be quite honest, it looks like it was worth it! the base colours were done by nucklehead for patto in this one and the combination of the two has really shone through, i think they worked astonishingly well together. Patto's continuation of the colouring and the soft, warm and cozy feeling finish of the piece coupled with the romantic pose. (being quite hard to pull of between two feral's in a sexual situation, so hats off twice-over) just makes this image one of the best

Im good to go. So i set of on the Drive of my life. The first leg, Consisting of 525km To Calais, saw The bold western route traverse across from Gutersloh to Duisburg. Then Crossing from Germany to Holand/Netherlands. Cheekily niping across the south along the A67 past Eindhoven. Then from Holand/Netherlands to Belgium as I braved the Antwerpen Ring to pass through Gent and onwards from Belgium into France, for the shortest pass across a County as i took a northern hook up to Calais.

After a brief rest stop on the Eurotunnel from France to England

Then, from Folkstone to Kidderminster. Home run. Literaly.
Another 206 miles.

I left at 1400hrs on Thursday in Germany.
I Arived at my home in Kidderminster on Friday at 0200hrs, 856.5Km traveled.

Id only traveled 11 miles as my furthest distance before that. I think i beat my recored. a perfect run, no messups and Without a sat-nav.

Redcreator has done an outstanding job on this 'new species on the block' A wonderful splash of creativity from the community and Tanni's relativity new account has been growing steadily. Defiantly someone to keep an eye on for nabbing those really good finds for commission slots. Her description of her species habitat is magical, and it was really interesting to talk to her about her new species, Also on all of her artwork she advertises contacting her if you want to make a character in her species, after inquiring about it before i put this journal out, Its not a sale, she just wants to know if you are to talk about it and ask that you give permissions! So i thought is was worth mentioning

Neko and Erin really came together on this one, and yet again we are seeing so much originality in characters. Nuff here has created a wonderful girl. The Enchanted blues and Fiery oranges really go together. That orange bang accents perfectly. and that soft blue on the bisquit fur just works. On top of that. This girl has attitude, and her character speaks volumes. Fantastic art collaboration, and again, Fantastic character.

Neko, Nuff and the gang are one of the most kind, wonderful groups i have ever met on FA, gaming with them on TF2 is always a charm. and Neko herself deserves so much more watches and faves than she already has. So make sure you give her some Love after this.

Those soft, warm blues, and that tiny little accent of equally soft green make this a rather nice commission, the colours are quick and simple but work as well as most fully coloured images! certainly a great idea to make those lines commissions that little bit better! i think we should start seeing this more often. Its a fantastic incentive :3

Buri~ sweet Buri, Has done a most wonderful job on Mei here, its a really nice pinup, what i love about this most is the clothing and the pose and stance of the character, the clean lines and colour, Buri is one of the best artists around at the moment, go to her gallery, and check out her male pinups. if you want toning, Buri's your artist, she can do some truly wonderful things with the paint style.

There is a clean version of this with a towel draped over it. But it was obvious anyway. and this Roundup has been far to clean for my tastes so far. so lets start with a bit of "Hello Ladies." Iggi's done wonders, as usual with the colour and the lines, the pose and point of view just completes it as plain old, High quality, High standard work. What would i love to drive, I will one day inherit my dads Pan-European 1200cc. I will also win the lotterey and buy two Triumph's and go riding in sunny countryside with my Twinface. When that happens, Ill know Tango got a lucky shot and im already wandering through heaven with the glorious metalic roar

27. Most hated pet peeves? Talking over me after a long day at work. Ive just been telling guys what to do, where to go. and when im in the mindframe and someone just interupts me, i have this bad mood and try and give them press-ups. Odd.
I dont like being blanked either. Or people who have a very sapping aura. who dont receive encouragment well or have no motivation.

28. Dislike in life? My life choices. I would give up my house in germany, my car. My thousands savings. My time in warzones. All for a relationship that will never come. I think i made some bad decisions but im learning to live with them

There is allot going for this one. First, 's art is beautiful, and he went and stole 1st place in my first roundup couples lineup. An artist i highly recommend Watching if you arn't already
this was a commission paid for by who really did get his moneys worth. The character is complex, draconic wings and tail, fangs, tatto's on the shoulders, But those colours make all that complexity dissapear and it emerges in the form of one beautiful character design. The use of two co-ordinating colours really brings this character together. And they are Beautiful colours!

Well its been awhile, So lets start with the most important detail! ARRGGH, SNOW <3!!!
Yes. i love snow, I haven't got a car out here yet. I haven't managed to get in to Gutersloh to by a Bike. So i've been donuting other peoples cars, and the odd green fleet across the completely snowed over German airfield i have on garrison, bwahahaha

That out the way...

Germany is great, There is a Bar above my room, there is a Bar at work, Some of the lads just went on a weekend Romp (Appropriate wording) in Amsterdam, Not only got fuel cards for it, but got some of the morning of for recovery, what. Insanity.

There is a shop on camp. and it has the Only Greggs in Germany, yes, the only Greggs in Germany. so i'm saved for 1000hrs first breaks,

Not knowing what you guys are going to want to know, i can only update so much unless you ask me what's goin' down, and ill reply to all your comments, not only will i find this more ' nice ' for my time constraints, its also less work for me to fit in this huge update in one sitting, and i'm hitting all my targets for telling you exactly how my week is going (Plus only one or two people care to comment on my journals so less work for me! Wahey!) not that i'm lazy. It's just Easier

we cool? cool.

So a basic outline of my week. Monday its PT first thing in the morning, Runs are great fun when your plowing through snow drifts but your feet get pretty wet, Also running around the airfield is a lick out. Its about 4 miles, one eveing i was like "I know, ill do some pressups and situps and go for a run around the airfield, to my horror, i was out in the snow bombing down this airfield to keep warm, was hillarious.

I have new uniform, Some of you have seen it, others haven't, No i will not be posting pictures of myself on Fur-affinity, its highly inappropriate, For my closer friends i have something called Skype, so ill be able to take of my uniform for you th- I mean, ahem, Show you my new rig (Gosh Kibbs your such a Sl-) MOVING ON

Noticing my little paragraphs are getting short, This is okay for you guys right? Feedbackfeedbackfeedback. ... Feeeed meeee

My work ends on a 'day basis' so around 6 i get of work and i'm like "Wheeee" and skip through snowdrifts gaily to my room where i can then reach out and communicate! ... Not really, i don't skip, i just loved that image

Weekly Roundup and Germany update this weekend

So i arrived at Birmingham airport early on the 6th January, 2013. Scary, right? so i sit down in the departures shopping/leisure area. And i take out my phone for a few goodbyes after purchasing a much needed Tea from the journey. Unfortunately ill take this as an apology post because i couldn't really see all of you. I have had quite the stressful few weeks and on top of that it was my last real family Christmas for a few years. In short. I could not see all of you. But those that i did see made my departure much more relaxed, as I felt that i'd had one of the best send offs i could have asked for. With special thanks to My scruffy-mutt Twinface for making my new years :3c (I brought the 3D glasses to Germany)

So. Back on track, im sitting in the departure lounge sipping at my Harrogate tea. Reminded uncomfortably of Betty's and scalding silverware and the odd cake i entered an odd state of reminsense of the UK that made the whole ordeal of leaving a tad more saddening. Although i did harp on about the military not allowing me to see you all, i realize that that was "a load of old tosh" and that i could only start legitimately grumbling about that now.

Not one for sitting there and feeling sorry for myself. I got on the plane.

It was a trooping flight. what this means is its a tiny little commercial aircraft and only soldiers are on it. and i was bumping into friends id met years ago that were heading out to Germany to go 'back to work' and i was getting all the grumbles and praises about the garrisons out there. I was soon settled into the flight and we were underway. And one plastic 'small receptacle' of water and a tiny turkey and butter bap later. we were flying over Germany under the Hour. It was at this point we passed over a coastal area (in darkness) and from the plane window i could see vast 'blocks' of lighting, me and a colleague couldn't fathom what these could be, so if you have any idea please let me know!

More interesting sights were to be Beheld when we touched down. As we came into the baggage pick up. on the wall opposite the end of it was a large advertisement for a Harem. we chuckled about it until we realized that a brothel advertised in a public airport was a legitimate thing.

The route to my garrison was equally smooth yet subtly strange. The bus we were in was driving on the wrong side of the road, and it was making me slightly nervous every time oncoming traffic headlights could be seen on an approaching right bend~ we survived in one peice to reach the town. Decorated with Kabab houses and take-aways at every street.

I will tell you about barracks tomorrow, its a little ailienating at first due to the fact it is 'Chuffing Huge'. But again, will get onto that tomorrow.
