Posted 11 years agoHey guys, got my suit making things back from my parents (they were hiding it and moving it around etc, cause they dont like furries and I was storing my fursuit crafts there while I was moving), so I can finally catch up on suits and take new orders.
Currently finishing up the heads I've been working on, now that they're in my apartment and not floating around wherever my parents throw them.
who got a little bit of damage from storage, and I'm replacing the lower jaw and the hinges, as well as re-making the horns.
replacing the nose, and padding the inside of the blank, getting ready to add ears and shave fur.
shaving the fur on the paws some more, padding the inside of the head blank, adding ears. :D

Posted 12 years agoSelling off Wolvie, because I lost my job, and so did my roommate, on the same day. I cant get any sort of local or government help, I've already looked into it.
Gonna be selling off some more wings, and my coyote skull as well, and maybe even some other things.

SELLING WOLVIE
Head::
The antlers will be removed, and the holes (for the antlers) sewn in. is built on a wire and foam frame and can be adjusted to fit/sit better. Fits pretty much any size head, with small adjustments. Ears were on a wire frame with sound activated movement, but the frame and electronics became damaged at a convention 2 years ago. Tongue and teeth are taxidermy quality, eyes are 3d follow me, hand painted. Facial markings will be airbrushed black.
Body::
This suit comes as is, body fits 5'7" or slightly smaller, head is adjustable. Only worn twice, for no longer than an hour each time.
Tail::
Tail is a yarn tail, but I can substitute it for a real fur tail as well. Will get some minor brushing to smooth it out before being shipped.
Handpaws::
Handpaws are 4 finger paws, with claws, no pads
Footpaws::
will likely NOT include sock paws, as I wear them quite frequently and they're pretty beat up. I don't have the supplies to build another pair unless you want to purchase a pair for approx 30$ ON TOP of the bid for the wolvie suit.

Tutorials by wolvie?
Posted 12 years agoWould anyone be interested in me posting tutorials for fursuit making? if so, what would you like to see? and WHY? and please dont say "the whole thing" that doesnt help me at all. Paws, how to make claws, how to make a pattern, etc, are good things to want to see. "how to make a fursuit" is not.
is there anything else you'd like to see? feedback by you guys is greatly appreciated!

I now have THREE jobs, on top of my leather, fursuit, and artwork. So I AM working every day, from 7-17, and doing art, leather, and fursuiting at NIGHT before I go to bed. I dont take any days off. Please be patient! I will be more than happy to update you on how far along your commission is, or where you are on my to-do list, but PLEASE be nice about it. Just send me a note, and I'll respond as soon as I get it.

Taking leave
Posted 12 years agoI've been having a really rough time, and I'm trying to get myself organized and back in shape, so I'm "leaving" the internet for a few weeks to a few months, to catch up on things, before gradually introducing internet responsibilities back into my life.
I AM still working on all my commissions, I'm not abandoning anyone. I just need time away from the internet and the stress it causes me. I need to spend time offline, trying to get myself in order, as well as working on things. This just happens to be bad timing that I'm doing this after getting two orders.
I will still update via note, or skype, as supplies have been ordered and we're all playing the waiting game. I will likely update journals here, but I'm trying to stay away from the internet as much as possible, so I can get IRL stuff done, and I'll probably get my commissions done a lot quicker too.

Fursuit pricing 2013
Posted 12 years agoListed below are my prices for this year! THIS YEAR ONLY, I am doing commissions for supplies only. Why? because I have next to no example pictures of my craftmanship. For this reason, suits and suit bits will be about a fourth of the price they usually would be. Great deal for you all!
Tails- 20+
A single colour yarn tail, approximately 20 inches. More colours, longer length, multiple tails, etc, will add to the price of this.
Handpaws- 30+
A single colour 4 finger handpaw, mid-forearm in length, with hand sculpted claws. More colours, multiple colour claws, pawpads, etc, will add to the price of this.
Footpaws- 45+
A single colour 4 toed footpaw, ankle length, built on a long sock, with hand sculpted claws. More colours, multiple colour claws, longer length, pawpads, etc, will add to the price of this.
I can also do footpaws built on shoes. Same options apply, same price.
Head- 200+
a foam, resin, or foam/mesh based head, made to resemble your character. I prefer working with realism suits, but have nothing against trying a toony style look.
price is for a single, or dual, coloured head, with moving jaw, 3D eyes, taxidermy teeth and tongue, and tear duct vision.
Taking out, or adding things, of course, changes the price. Complex suits, with horns, fins etc, will have an added cost.
Partials- 350+

Charging supplies and shipping only, no labor costs. I made my suit, aside from the head.
Prices will depend on how many colors you have in your suit, whether I have to order fur or can get it locally, if you want certain items I have to order, if you want a resin base instead of me building one, etc.
At this point I am mostly interested in canines, but would look into other species if someone is interested. My suit is sewn with a professional grade serger, with small bits handsewn.
I have made, to date, one head (no pictures), 5 sets on handpaws, 3 furscarves (mentioned for ear experience), 3 pair of footpaws, one body suit, and 3 tails, one sewn and 2 yarn.
I would show progress pictures for each piece, and would try to finish at least a piece a week after supplies, meaning I would hope to have tge whole suit done in 5 weeks. I would be willing to stream tge process as well.
Again, supplies and shipping, no labor. I will need a duct tape dummy as well. (they aren't hard to make)

I've learned my lesson, I hurt myself everyday inside and out for what I've done.
I wanted 1 person in this world to be with me and I pushed him away years ago.. I've tried to get him to accept me again, to love me like he once did, but no luck.
But I don't want to give up the fight anymore, I gave up once and lost all that I had. I still love him.
But in all of this, i dont know what to do. it sickens me that thinking of simply leaving is the best way out. If things are still going the way they are now, i dont think i could stand life much longer.

No paying for my time! I would like for these to include claws! If you do not want claws, on your sockpaws, that is your choice, but I'd like to try a different way to fix the claws in the fur!
