starting september 18th. I will not use paypal anymore to sell adoptables but Square. This service is not available all around the world, but paypal is very mean and not only this thing is more for physical goods, but it's a bad time for any artist as soon as someone does chargebacks. I have yet lived a chargeback or any sort of problem with paypal, but I prefer to start using another service. (also starting sept 19th paypal will start to crawl in websites to see what I'm actually selling and since I sometimes sell 'unusual' stuff I will not take any chance)

You dont need to worry about using a Square account since only the seller needs one.

As some may have seen in my open folder, I have reduced the price of a lot of adoptables (all starting with the number 2 on their ID)
that way, I hope to slowly reduce my inventory and hope that I'll be able to pay some annual bills. (sill learning to be an adult tbh. there was no classes in school for that they should put that somewhere)

fun fact : all people that have a TH account and if I use that to make a file /character transfer get a 10% off on their invoice. That 10% can also be stacked with hidden rebates

why do you gatekeep this rebate on TH ? :
good question, TH is easy for me to access while I'm working so not only I can receive messages, send invoices and send files while I'm at work, but that's faster for me in general and for you. It's a win-win so why not slap 10% off on it ?
note : also, it's a nice way to actually track if you are indeed the owner of a design and people like easy to trust stuff when you are reselling.

so a thing that artist often struggle with is paypal. It seems that it can get pretty messy for no reasons.
So I decided to give a try to Stripe since this service is friendly toward the sale of digital goods. Every time a customer will want to obtain an adopt, they will be asked whether they want it by Stripe or Paypal.
Stripe only allow the sale in the sellers currency, so I can only send invoices in Canadian Dollars, but I'll assure myself what is the current value of the USD the day of the sale to send the good value in the invoice.

yeah you saw right, whenever I feel like it I go around toyhouse and sell my adopts cheaper. Moreover you can even do entertaining offers on characters that have a worth between 50 to 100 $.
